6/9/22 I bought a Panasonic microwave from Home Depot. It came with a 1 year warranty. In April of 2023 it stopped working. I was told to contact a Panasonic repair shop in Hawaii, which I did. I turned my microwave in to the Panasonic recommended shop on 4/14/23. Since then I have spoken with the local shop repeatedly and have been told that Panasonic recommended replacing parts, which the shop did each time. The shop informed me that there were several other microwaves that were turned into them for repair for the same issue and that there were so many microwaves with that issue coming in, they had stopped accepting more. After 7 months I was told to contact Panasonic directly because they were not responding to the local repair shop. Panasonic doesn't have an easily accessible N. America phone number, so I was forced to use their chat function. The first person I spoke with said they would escalate my issue and I would be contacted, which I was not. I contacted Panasonic today and spoke with "Mia" who is quite rude and told me to read their return/refund policy. She also claimed a supervisor was unavailable.
