I am writing to express my concern about the treatment my husband and I have received at your Smart&Final store located at 7945 Madison Ave, Citrus Heights, CA 95610. As a low-income couple who shops daily at your store for bulk items, we have consistently felt unwelcome and disrespected by your staff. They follow us around the store, seemingly suspecting us of shoplifting, and have even followed us into the parking lot. Today, one of your employees took a picture of my husband while he was sitting on the sidewalk, which we find extremely intrusive and inappropriate.
My husband, who is in a wheelchair, feels harassed and intimidated by these actions. As a result, he is hesitant to shop at your store anymore. I understand that your employees may have concerns about theft, but profiling and harassing customers is unacceptable.
I kindly request that you address this issue with your staff, educate them on treating all customers with respect and dignity, and ensure that our shopping experience is inclusive and welcoming. We would appreciate a response regarding the actions you will take to address our concerns.

Received a $20.00 off coupon toward my next purchase of $100 or more. Attempted to use the coupon today to purchase water, batteries and beer. The staff told me that the coupon was not valid on "liquor "purchases. No where on the coupon exemptions does it state that. In fact it states "Excludes liquid dairy products..." To say this is dishonest and a waste of my time is an under statement. Your managers and staff require far better customer relations training.
As a long-time Smart & Final customer, I am very UNHAPPY with new push by your grocery store which always prided itself on offering low prices without coupons, etc. for customers to download digital coupons to get 'bargains'. You are discriminating against me and everyone else who only has a flip phone and cannot easily 'scan' the codes. At the minimum, clerks should be required to pass the savings along to us when we explain about or lack of technology.
I wasn't a happy customer today.i always purchase 150 lbs of meat,pork and chuck.today I asked Amanda who was in charge of meat dpt.to help me with what I needed,her answer was,I am on break,I am on break,3 or 4 times,so I went to grab,all the meat they had on the shelf,there wasn't enough,meat to complete 50 lbs for each meat,I always get a discount on 50 or more lbs,she said there is nothing she could do to help me get the discount,so I had to leave 92 lbs of meat at the register.
I always shop from the store in Lincoln but I stopped doing a month ago I had big problem there with one cashier her name is Lea she is rude and she doesn't have any experience she charge me over and she scared my kids when my daughter tryied to touch the candy and I asked her where some item she didn't answer me band was speaking with Latino people nice than other and I did two review against her but the manger didn't do anything if she doesn't like her job leave store I ask everyone don't go there because of her bad bad bad customer service
I was at Smart and Final store no. 413 on 6060 Figueroa St. Highland Park at around 11:06 A.M.
on 11/17/22. One of your workers, Maira or Mayra, was most helpful in helping me with my iphone to make a digital coupon purchase. I am a novice in the use of the iphone and she patiently tried to set up an app for me. She also brought a bandaid for me when she noticed a small bleed on my thumb. She was not a cashier and I did not hold up any lines, She was doing other chores when I asked her for help. My compliments to her for assisting me, a customer.
Coronado location...it was a long line in the first place so i waited patiently like others..got in my car noticed that they over priced one item that i bought.. went back and she want me to go back in a long line..which i think it@ not right...
After i refused to get in line because she very rude about it..she called someone to help me..But i never heard any sorry from both of them...not a good costumer service at all!!!
I'm sorry for referring like that to all the employees but honestly I have been buying alot of stuff from your store for my mother in law ice cream truck and for my father in law food Truck but your employees hadtge worst attitude the security of your store on florence and Wilcox and the manager and the security of you store on long Beach and Norton I believe I start recommending to all my friends to not go to your store no more I buy stuff most likely ever day and I waist about $1000 on your store for your employees treat me like trash nah thanks keep your attitude keep you merchandising its not the only store I could buy it have a nice day
Hello: I like to report to you on 10/29/22 visited your store in Chino Ca to buy First Street chicken leg quarters buy touching the tray my hands smells like dead animal the way they pack
these chickens in those trays,I have to wash my hand three times to get red of the smell on my
hands,and this is the not the first time,once before in Chino Hills Ca with the same issue told them about the same problem and the smell comes out of these open coolers.
Fremont CA store on Walnut Ave. clerk Jacqueline very rude. I asked her how does digital work do I put in phone #? Her reply I don't know. "U hv to hv the app told her I did. Then she said let me seeproceeded to say I'm not touching your phone.
If she's afraid of germs it's viral she WAS NOT wearing a mask. Told me I need to learn like I was a 10yr old. She has trouble ringing my reduced vegs. Should not serve the public mean attitude.
First of all check he receipt second had a $4 digital coupon rang up for 3.00 total 46.55 saw on the screen I said no that is a 4.00 dollar digital coupon the total went from 46.55 to 44.55 before leaving I checked my receipt again he overcharged me for the salsa 3.99 on sale for 2.49 he called the manager he took me over to the register and I looked at my receipt it did not show the savings of $4 on the digital coupon so I had her refund everything and then she rang it up again and still overcharge me by 10 cents on the salsa on the salsa 2.50 she rang it up again 2.49 it came to $37.44 .from 46.55 to 44.55 to 37.44 wow and on labor day people get in a rush and don't check your receipts and they want you to do that because that way they can rip you off
My mother is and elderly lady that has been shopping at your stores for many years , she's doesn't mind the drive . But if bothers me how recently she hasn't had a great experience with your customer service. She said she was told my Daisy ( which she's an awesome person with and awesome personality and compassion for my mother !) she told my mother at the beginning of you guys introducing the Smart and Final app! That daisy would help her out and made sure she would get all deals listed on the ad ... but recently told my others that is not how it works that she would need to down load the app but told different by Daisy . My concern here is how is one person letting her know that she will happily help her every time she goes in and give her the deals on ad but when she comes to other associates she gets a straight up NO! My mother only shops at your store ,she comes home happy after a trip to your store getting the best customer service by Daisy and i Believe Donna ... occasionally it will be a few other cashiers but she always points out at, Daisy and Donna ... anyways my mother point it out that if it's going to be a problem giving her what she was promise at the beginning of all this mess with the app she will no longer shop there as well as i and will contact corporate! We shouldn't get different answers every time we go in . Simple get your rules straight so there would be no confusion for elderly people like my mother who has no idea how to manure a cell phone!
I was BLATANTLY DISRESPECTED on 2-25-22 around 9:15 am by African American Female Store Manager located in Venice on Lincoln Blvd. She asked me was I next in line line, I said, yes. Then she asked customers behind me was I next, insinuating, I was lying about my place in line. I am a disabled Veteran who wear medical shoes and as I was exiting the store, the manager said, " I HOPE YOU FALL".. This kind of RUDENESS to CUSTOMERS is UNACCEPTABLY
Went to Smart & Final Riverside Vine St.. Was in line guy behind me asked to get alcohol cashier waived him thru squeezed past me elbowed me and made negative comment. Guy in front of me was very ill pulled his mask down and coughed and sneezed, I got Covid got very sick had receipt for overcharge on last visit cashier said too bad it's on you if you leave store. Just wanted to get paper towels.
Me and my boyfriend was there on 12/29/03 I just want to think Ashley For always greeting us making sure we find everything that we need And all the employees there that is the reason while we shop there more than any other grocery store good customer service Always a 10 Rating
There was this amazing guy, he looked like he was in his 20's. He showed great respect to my brother and I. It was pretty late at night mind you. He respected us like it was the morning. In a great mood. His name is Anthony! Works at smart and final NORTHRIDGE . Shout out to you Anthony you are a great guy!!!
I recently visited your store in Poway, CA. I was in line and an elderly lady with some physicals issues was attempting to pay her bill. Her card declined a few times but she didn't realize it and kept trying. The cashier was a young man named Albert. I watched how patient he was then I saw him pull out his wallet -he not only paid her bill he gave her the money left over from the bill from the money that he paid the bill with. Needless to say I was very impressed and told him so. He didn't realize anyone saw him which may the gesture even more impressive. It was refreshing to see someone show that kindness , the customer had no idea that he did that
I just wanted to comment on 2 employees at your 2750 E. Main St. Ventura, Ca. store. I called from your Oxnard Office, asking if the Ventura store carried First Street nacho cheese sauce in the #10 can, since the Oxnard store did not have it. Scott, from the Ventura store, kindly said his store did have it, but to make sure, he went to go look. He verified his store did have it, so I said I would be right over.
After looking for it on the shelves, I didn't find it. I walked around to locate an employee of Smart and Final, hoping they could help me. I located a kind young lady, stocking eggs in the frig, asking her if she knew a Scott that worked there. I told her my situation, and we went to the shelf area where the nacho cheese can should have been. She then said she would look in the back to see if there was any. She then said she would locate Scott, called him, and he said they were located in the front of the store. I followed her and I finally got my nacho sauce. Then I asked her for another item, and she went right to the aisle and got it for me. I asked her, her name, and she said it was Angela.
I just want to say, between these two employees, they made my life so much easier, and the kindness and going above and beyond their jobs, says so much for Smart and Final, and them as kind individuals. I want to express my gratitude and to say to both Scott and Angela, you made a difference in my day, making it easier, and a happier one! Thank you!!

I shop at the Smart & Final on N Texas in Fairfield CA. I just want to say what great staff you have at this store. They are always helpful and cheerful. Even returned an expensive purse to me that I had left in the shopping cart. They were all just fantastic when that happened. Says a lot about your workers and shoppers. I'll shop there more in the future.
Hi, I am a regular shopper at your store in Fresno,Can @ Blackstone and Clinton. I wanted you to know how amazed I am with one of your newest cashier's. This girl always has a smile for each customer who goes thru her line. She is friendly and sincere. She has gone above and beyond for me personally. When she asked me if I had found everything ok I replied not everything I was looking for boxed scalloped potatoes and could not find them. She assured me that you did have them. She offered to have someone get them for me, the person she called was unavailable and. I said never mind i looked on every isle. She told me that she would go get them for me , she wasn't going to let me leave with out everything I needed. Before I could answer her she said be right back to me and the customer behind me. She came back with 2 boxes of the Betty crocker scalloped potatoes and ask if this is what I was talking about. I replied yes, she then told me what isle and exact location so next time I could find them. I was so impressed, it's not that often that you see an employee really care. Hats off to you for hiring this girl. Please let her know how much it means to me.

I have had nothing but good experiences at Smart and Final Stores. I have shopped at several over the years, and have always left with a smile and good wishes by the clerks.

I shop at Smart & Final often, usually on Monterey Rd, San Jose.
I received coupons on line. One coupon for Coca Cola, buy 4 12pk for $10.00. The cashier had a problem scanning the coupon. The store manager was called after a lengthy time, the manager took care of the problem.
I let the manager know I had another coupon so please not to go to far. The next coupon was $10.00 off a $40.00 purchase. Once again there was a problem with the coupon, it would not scan. The manager once again tried several times but it didn't scan! The manager worked it differently to my satisfaction.
PLEASE tell me, how do we make the on-line coupons work. The coupons are great, if they work correctly.
