How many times will I have to wash a wall, let it dry, and carefully affix Command Strips before they DON'T fail and result in the destruction to plants, lamps, glasses, anything else that might be breakable that a heavy piece, guaranteed to be supported and secured by 3M, crashes down on top of? Just curious. Nothing like finding a gigantic shattered mess, courtesy of crap products. Thanks, 3M- I'll never buy these again. Back to the old fashioned, guaranteed brackets, anchors, etc. Sometimes, what appears to be "innovation" is just a money grab. You're just one big, polluting disappointment, 3M. Get bent.

I spent 2 weeks giving information to a 3M Inside Sales Representative via email, trying to select an adhesive for one of our products - we are a small company. After that period of time and repeated requests for more information, I was told to call an 800 number or select "CHAT" - no inquiry number, no contact name, no nothing. I selected "CHAT" to try to get some information. The "please hold while we connect you to a live agent" has been on my screen for over 1/2 hour, no agent, no help. JFC, 3M, when did you turn into a crappy company with no customer service? Did you get purchased by a PEF or something? Sad, 3M used to be one of my go-to companies when sourcing stuff.

I purchased AC filters for a Carrier central AC. I purchased the size recommended by Carrier. THE 3M PRODUCT purchased does not fit even though it Iis the correct size as indicated on the package.

I cannot trust 3M any longer.

DO NOT PURCHASE 3M PRODUCTS!!! I purchased their Scotch Brite (scratch resistant sponges)with the NEW SCRUB DOTS on the sponge, to clean off some sap on my brand new 2020 Trax windshield,(which sponge package states safe to use on glass) and the sponge scratched my windshield soooo bad, that I had to have my windshield replaced. After one and half months of sending proof of the damage, pictures of damage, windshield replacement receipt and the original sponge, they denied my claim stating there must have been a large stone between the sponge and my windshield (REALLY!!! Like I wouldn't notice a rock between and continue scrubbing my windshield). POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, IF YOU ARE WILLING TO BE TREATED AS A LIAR AND DENIED FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEN GO AHEAD CONTINUING TO PURCHASE 3M PRODUCTS, BUT DON'T EXPECT A POSITIVE OUTCOME IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH THEIR PRODUCTS.......................

Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT purchase 3M Contact Adhesive Strips. I recently purchased a few packs because I have used in past, I hung a picture 6 years ago (stayed in place), I used four strips, two on each side. No problem. I recently moved, hung same picture, used same strips (large size). The picture was over my bed. It fell down after two weeks behind the bed (thankfully there was space) my frame was damaged on both corners. I re-hung. It fell again the next day. I moved the bed from the wall to get the picture, the baseboard of the wall is damaged greatly, when the picture fell it fell against the baseboard ripping it from the wall, paint and all!! I live in an apartment (one month) and I am going to have to report this to my building manager. I know this damage is going to cost me over $100. I can't take the picture down, I will have to wait until it FALLS again. I would have done better nailing it to the wall, the damage would have been less expensive. Don't waste your money, TOO DANGEROUS.

3M owes American healthcare workers an immediate apology and you should be ashamed. Thankful our President took immediate action against to ensure 3M PPE products go to American healthcare facilities first. Amazing the government would have to make 3M do this. Definitely a reflection of 3M's greed and lack of patriotism to our country. Oh and no matter how many commercials you start putting in our face you all failed our country miserably. Disgusted with the whole process! Believe you me the American people understand and will not forget this soon.

My name is Mike I buy 3M products and I'm so disappointed in your company's policy of shipping 3Mn95 mask overseas and blaming it on your distributors and I'm just as disappointed in your CEO mr. Roman acting like this is not happening we all know it is I will not be shopping any of your products for the foreseeable future I really don't believe in boycotts but in this particular case I think I'm going to make an exception and urge my friends and family members not to shop 3M Products either

Very disappointed with the poor response 3m has provided to our national disaster and not immediately ensuring that your PPE products were not made available to American healthcare workers as a priority. This is a disgrace and will do my best to avoid purchasing 3M products going forward which will be difficult to do. 3M owes American healthcare workers an immediate apology and you should be ashamed. Now that we know 3m was selling masks only to the highest bidding Country, I am asking everyone to now stop buying all 3m products. I will be telling all my friends and their friends, friends to do the same. Also I have 3 kids over 25 years of age to do the same. UNLESS... 3m now sells the masks all over the US ONLY FOR THEIR COST, while the Virus continues.

Also, I am asking 3m for a full apology to the American People for what they had done.

3M said equipment would be delivered within one week, then after order, changed it to over 6 weeks. When calling the personal safety division to voice my frustration was really offered no explanation. Staff on the line really didn't seem to care, and then at the hung up. I will be looking for a different vendor for products other than 3M. They obviously do not care about their customers.

I have used 3M products for years but when l used the 3M super duty rubbing compound on my 2015 Nissan l was not happy. I followed the directions but when l was done there was two areas about 4"round that remained discolored.How can l fix this problem? I hope there is a product l can use to do it myself.Thanks John.

I'm writing with the greatest of frustration regarding the 3M packing tape....Every year I mail gifts all over the country....every year my husband buys this crappy tape....the tape is so difficult to use once you've lost sight of the end....however with your tape I never quite get that far...as soon as I start using the end tapes back to somewhere...where I haven't a clue...I've used pencils to wrap it back only to have to do a complete surgery only it ends with me in tears and me threatening my husband with divorce!!!! Whoever designed this tape needs to be retrained to help old woman like me to be able to use them!!!! I have 3 brand new rolls that are cut and scarred and can't be used!!!! I can design a roll easy for everyone to use...oh I'd say by the time you read this email!!!! Please regroup and FIX the packing tape!!!!

This isn't the first time I've bought a 3m product and been entirely unsatisfied.
Their paint tape and handing hooks are awful and do not live up to their promise.
I bought painters tape at Lowe's and within 15 minutes it had all peaked off. I could hear it peeling as soon as I put it on. The wall was cleaned and dry. Painters tape that doesn't stick to a wall won't do me any good.
I will never buy from them again and they should be asshamed. I hope they read these reviews and make some changes I'm clearly not the only disgruntled customer.

I just bought your blue sponge. In one week the stink in my kitchen was unreal. I finally through out after a week's use. You are a company I used to have faith in...no more...over a dang sponge. What else are you doing?

I don't normally comment but I have been trying to hang a few pictures with 3M command damAge free hanging strips/tape. What a waste of time and money, and I can't find my receipt to return the goods. They were as good as useless and I followed the instructions to the book. Grrrrrrrrr.....

I purchased 5 roll's of 3 m blue hawk painters tape and not one roll of tape was any good wouldn't even stick to the wall home depot wouldn't take back because they had been used so I ended up throwing them into the trash I am a contractor in Sacramento

Employees lack knowledge on how to complete a task in their own department. This could be due to lack of training. I find the staff to be very slow and does not make the effort to satisfy their customers needs. As a customer, I feel unappreciated and frustrated by the lack of information and the excessive wait time it takes to receive an order. For me although the staff is friendly and polite over the phone, it is not enough if the company does not deliver results.

Ioban was used by my surgeon during a reverse total shoulder replacement on Feb. 11, 2016. This was done even after I told everyone I could that my skin is thin and any tape takes it off. Needless to say about a 4x4 hunk of my skin was taken off. The surgery has been much easier than the large skin tear. I am being treated by a wound specialists with a nurse dressing the wound every day. This has been a very painful experience for me and inexcusable.

If you have an e-mail address I will be happy to send you a picture the nurse has taken of the wound.

Your ioban has not only cost me money but has given me a lot of pain.

I am a general contractor in western Washington. And have been for about 30 years. Lately 3m as come out with a easy lock masking tape parentheses blue I can't tell you how horribly terrible this blue tape is I'm not even sure what to say I would never use it again it was a waste of my money as expensive as it is it's terrible absolutely terrible wooden stick on its best day.

The new Scotch Brite pads for the Clean Curve Dish Wand are useless. The new bit at the top flops around - you can't put any pressure on it to actually clean - so you can't reach corners with it. The picture on the front of the packaging shows it being used to wash glasses, but unless that's all you wash, you should skip buying this.

3M Sandblaster 60 grit, slip-in sandpaper for a palm sander; the worst brand on the marketing for function, longevity, and price. When having recently done, an 'accidental' side-by-side comparison with three different brands, the term "competitor" doesn't apply. The 3M sheet lasted 1/4 of the time, and cost more at the initial buy-in.

Factor in that there is ZERO contact information on their package, and it shows how very little confidence they have in their products. CLEARLY, those at 3M know how inferior their products are, and feel as they need to 'hide' from comment.

I bought your wall hangers.. paid a rediculous amount for them. They were all worthless and are now in the trash. I followed instructions exactly and stayed within weight limit. Eight hours after hanging I now have two shattered picture frames and a shattered PRICELESS clock. Gone. Goodbye money.. just like that. Gone. Not including the clock?? $80. Poof. Thanks a lot.

I just wasted over six dollars on the 3M Command damage-free hanging hooks. It said they would hold up to 3 lbs., but it more like won't hold anything! I followed instructions for installation exactly.

Dannielle in service has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She is friendly and accommodating! Super employee! Great customer service!!
I called to verify our repair and got Leslie on the phone. ABSOLUTELY RUDE!!! Unfriendly, yapped non-stop, pushy and did not let me describe or explain what I was calling about. Condescending and interrupted every sentence I began. I hung up and tried to call back; thank God Dannielle answered.

I lost a radio knob off my headphones,I contacted 3m and explained to them what happened and the lady sent me out 2 new knobs no questions asked free of charged I was very pleased with my experience not only did it not cost anything she was very pleasant to talk to. Thank you.

I was pleasantly surprised today by your company. I had purchased a 3M aircleaner (the FAP01) within the last 1 to 2 yrs. The filter had done it's job, & was totally filled with dust. I needed a new filter; but looked ALL OVER & in addition, called some stores. I was disappointed, as I could not find the filter, nor even the machine. But today I googled up 3M's phone number. The employees that I dealt with (a young man initially, & then a young woman; wish I could recall their names) were both prompt, polite & knowledgable. The woman explained that your company hasn't been able to locate a store that will distribute the filters or the machines. Anyway, she said that she'll send me a courtesy filter & an order blank for the future. THANKS! I appreciate the gesture!
