Aaa. You Screwed Me Too. Broke Down And No One Wanted To Tow My Vehicle Because I Paid For Plus And Needed To Go 88 Miles. How Many People Have To Swindled? Cancelling My Membership And Warning Others Of My Horrible Experience.

I Hoyt's flat tire on the highway 101 and have been waiting over 21/2 hours for a tow truck. Horrible!!!!!
Horrifying sitting here while big fuel trucks are going by 1 foot away. Horrible horrible

I just had an appalling experience trying to cancel my Mom's AAA insurance after she developed dementia and stopped driving. They threw up every barrier to what should have been a simple process, and even refused to accept my Power of Attorney documents electronically. The representative was extremely rude and copped an attitude. I think they refuse to close accounts so they can keep fraudulently charging non-driving seniors. This is a crooked company, and nobody should do business with them.

Yesterday I had a flat tire in Savannah, GA and called AAA at approximately 5:15 in the afternoon. They advised that assistance would arrive in less than an hour. No assistance ever came for over three hours and it was getting dark in an unsafe area. I finally had to hire another company at a cost of almost 200 dollars. The other company advised that he hears complaints about AAA all the time as they "shop around" for the lowest cost company before sending help. I will not use AAA again.

I've been a long time member AAA, and had a Credit Card for over 20 years, but recently canceled my credit card because I don't like the new company Comenity. It was a unorganized and difficult to find out information about my account

I have been a member of AAA for a long time. This is the worst experience I've ever had with them but shuttle road for 2 1/2 hours should've been here at 1:38. Just got a text in the baby 40 more minutes first time I call Larry hangs up on me poor customer service what has happened to AAA? Maybe we need to find a new another auto club

Stranded for 4.5 hours waiting for AAA. We were in a major suburb of a major city. We had a dead battery and contacted AAA for battery service. We were initially told that they were busy, so we would have a 90 minute wait. After 3 additional followup calls, my 86 year old father and I had to wait for 4 1/2 hours for somebody to show up. We complained and spoke to a supervisor, but were told there was nothing they could do to expedite their response. Save your money - this service is NOT worth it.

So I just called AAA for a tow I was told that I would have to pay for tows over 5 miles from where i was at. then i was told my distant from my address to where i wanted to drop off was 10 miles when i went i look on the map it is only 6.5 miles distant from my location. This fraud being done.

Up until today I thought AAA was a great program and service
Called for a jump start at 2pm
Still waiting at 5:30
Being told 6ish
On line help is usually within 1 hour....not happening today for me. Unhappy customer

I was told my vehicle would be ready today, Monday, Sept
25th.

I called three times beteeen 1 and 4 p.m. to see if the vehicle was ready.
No one picked up. Called the manager.
Didn't pick ip. Left 3 voice messages and sent an email. No reply.

I am going to cancel AAA. Worse than lousy customer service.

This AAA is in Hampton on Aberdeen Rd.

I have been a AAA member for decades. We do not use the service very often, has been years. Needed to have my car battery jumped last evening about 8:00 PM. I was in Kerman, California and was told a tow truck would be sent from Lemoore, Ca. an hour away at best. I told them that Fresno, Ca. was only 20 minutes away with many tow truck operators in the Fresno area. Your customer service insisted that a Lemoore tow truck was only option. My conclusion was that AAA does not make it convenient to use a closer tow truck service so AAA members look to other options on their own, which I did. Not only was sending a Lemoore tow truck to help me stupid but very, very poor customer service. Do a better job of helping your membership.

How come you all offer 24 hour road assistance but it takes tow truck drivers 2 hours or more to get to any location. When you call back to speak to a representative they are so nonchalant about it. Who wants to wait hours with a car for a tow truck when they break down. Aaa is not free we pay for it. So it should be in a reasonable time for them to come and assist you. Not you waiting and waiting and no response and then you have to call back.

You say you cover towing but now you charge for it . Why am I paying for your service if I must pay for towing anyway. Your service is a rip-off. I will never use it again

I've been a RV Plus member since 2007. I had service august 8, 2023. Since that day, An automated Aaa call back has called me 192 times. 4 times a day. Every time I call they say it's cleared and ok. It's not, I call and get routed and rerouted. Every time they say. It's been taken care of and the calls keep coming. Like in a bad movie. Or an episode of the twilight zone. What do I do? Next step I think will be an Atty.

Called AAA yesterday @9am for a local tow. Got updates saying 3:45pm. Puryear Towing never showed up. So we rescheduled for today 8:30am-10:30am. Their customer service level has really decreased over the last year. Kinda sad.

3:30pm Saturday I'm still waiting for a tow 7:50pm Tuesday - I feel much better knowing my call was "escalated" Saturday at 8:30pm - bye bye AAA you will become obsolete at this rate - vehicle was towed by independent tow service - guessing AAA contracts for towing services not lucrative, etc..

I've been a member of AAA for 20 years when I experienced this last week. Horrible I called AAA someone came out the AAA truck I had a flat tire. He said he could fix it and put a plug in it. He had no idea what he was doing. He ruined my tire and charge me $35. I had to buy a new tire the next day, when the tire was flat, another AAA person came out looked at the tire and said oh my God who did this the person did not know what he was doing he ruined your tire, so I called AAA and spoke to a supervisor. The only person name he would give me as Marc he was sarcastic rude and did not care. He told me it's not his problem. The person doesn't work for AAA that I would have to contact them I called AAA he came out the AAA truck, and yet he said AAA is not responsible I could not believe the way this guy talk to me it was rude. He said we have nothing to do with that. He was not a AAA employee I asked him if his phone was being recorded he says he doesn't know and this was a supervisor so here I am 10 years I have a AAA I called AAA out comes out with AAA truck and he can do damage to your car or tire and AAA just answers or he's not our employee we can't do nothing give you sarcastic answers because it will give you his full name so you can report him. I'm actually more upset at the supervisor from AAA that I am of that incompetent worker.

BEWARE-the sep/Oct aaa mag has "helpful" article "helping prevent insurance fraud" Joke is to obtain their help locating a contractor u MUST have (or can buy) aaa HOUSE insurance! Almost funny if I wasn't in desperate need.

AAA roadside service tech Steve from Gainesville FL towing was the most personable, professional, helpful driver I've ever had in the 48 years I've been a member. I can't praise him enough for his knowledge, kindness and ability. He's a stellar employee and should be recognized for the positive, thoughtful and competent example representative of AAA.

AAA service is not what it use to be years ago. The service is not worth the money. I understand it's hard finding good help, but waiting for FIVE hours to get a tire changed is ridiculous!!!

The worst service. Waited 5 hours for AAA, never showed! I am sick with cold called another company . They jump started me. Got home! Then I called the next day. Showed up 3 hours late did not speak English sai I need a tow. They said they would be here in 2 hours never showed. The office is nice but have no idea how to reach person who is coming! I just don't know what to do!!!

Horrible service with AAA Carolina- customer service not helpful and rude. Only one person was very friendly when I placed the call. Then when I called back rude and not helpful- left me on hold - after 25 minutes of waiting-hung up. Will be cancelling my service and my moms- will find another with much better service.
