Aldi runs bait and switch weekly ads to falsely lure customers in only to find out the items on sale are "sold out". This weeks scam (11/8 - 11/15) was Prime Rib Roasts for $7.99 a lb and beef tenderloin roasts for $10.99 a lb. Both were sold out on 11/9 at 5:00 pm. I always avoid these disgusting stores but thought I would give these items a try, but found out they are still a con artist chain.

Aldi North Cheam is just around the corner from me where I used to shop almost on a daily basis, unfortunately after my last shopping experience in Aldi Cheam I will never ever be going to Aldi in this country. On 15.09.23 I went to this store to do my regular shopping not realising that they change the parking conditions, I was totally unaware that I had to register my number plate, also, on that occasion I paid by cash and I did not keep the receipt. After receiving the parking notice I asked them to cancel it, I explained whole situation to them, and despite of presenting numerous till receipts from the past they refused to cancel the fine. After spending thousands of pounds in this branch my reward was a Fine, I just can not express my ANGER!!!!!!!!!!

I told the man at the register that the paper sacks that they are selling us are falling apart when we pick them up by the handles and he said, pick them up by the bottom. And I said well you shouldn't be charging for him if they're junk. And he said we have a reason for charging 12 cents. But he never told me the reason, so I repeated you're charging us for junk. My comment to you Aldi is no other grocery store charges for paper sacks

While visiting a Aldi's in Murfreesboro Tennessee on memorial drive they had a glitch in their computer system while I was checking out they charge me twice for the same items and then a refused to return my money The manager had me wait outside at their office for 30 minutes ignoring me I left the store and then returned later and wait it out another 30 minutes before she would even return outside and talk to me and now I've been waiting 5 days to get my money refunded and I was treated as if I had made the mistake and all these does not have a customer service phone number you can call they make sure their stores contact numbers are unlisted The customer service from this company is atrocious I have never been mistreated by a business as flagrantly as them

What a humiliating experience to have my empty bags inspected before going through the checkout.
As a customer of some 20+ years and known to the staff, I find this new directive to checkout staff deeply offensive.
For my part I intend to check my receipt in great detail before leaving the checkout, in case I have been double or triple charged for goods I am purchasing.
It might not be liked by other customers or staff but trust is a two way thing ...You know just in case you're robbing me !!!

Security member of staff at Aldie Prestwich Saturday afternoon August 26th around 3:45.As I entered the store with members of my family I couldn't help notice how unfriendly the security man looked over at us,however we decided to carry on through the store looking at the different meats as you do ,when closing the refrigerator door an turning round to carry on the same security member was stood arms folded glaring at me as though id just or was about to steel something,I understand they have a job to do but I feel they need to be a lot more tactful

Every time I bought produce it's been bad, the day I buy it the next day or so it's rotten! When it come to fruits & vegetables, I know how to pick them, I use to haul produce, meats etc... 22+yrs coast to coast, long haul trucker. I will not waste money I don't have, being on Disability to rotten food. Walmart use to be like that to, but have gotten better. I must have wasted $20.00 worth of product before I said no more. Aldi, are your Inspectors getting paid under the table with bribes just to pass this rotten product? How sad. Thank you

Employees have bad arrogant attitudes!

Employees for the most part have bad attitudes! I'm assuming they're under a lot of stress?

Posted by Dave Smith

Using check out staff member in support had a condescending attitude, machine showed a grey out contact less payment option so used card to pay in card reader once done mentioned to staff member who told me it is working when clearly it wasn't replied that he did believe me (which he clearly did not) and after informing again it wasn't working he then started to check the till and wished me "have a lovely day and enjoy the rest of your day" in a darkly manner. I just don't need it get a life and fix your tills when asked with less attitude please, thank you.

I would suggest one self checkout for people that can't fly through the checkout line.
Speed checkout with kids and a stroller is a nightmare!

What is going on with your computer system???? I am a long time customer and have had an account for at least 3 years...This system is asking for a verification code and the codes you send will not open my account to order... I have given another grocery my order because no one responds to these email inquiries. I have to order today- sorry you missed a 50$ order. It went to another grocer.

I went to Aldi today and bought some food items including spaghetti. While bringing out the spaghetti at the cash point, the pack tore open and spilled everywhere. I politely reported to the cashier and she rudely handed me a small brush and dust pan to sweep the floor, not minding l was on queue and embarrassed about the whole situation. I felt so bad and concluded maybe it's because of my skin colour. Thank God a friend l was with came to my rescue and swept the floor in broad daylight because l am heavy and couldn't bend that low at the moment. It was a very horrible experience for me despite the fact l appreciate that l didn't have to pay for the damaged item, l would have preferred paying 10times the cost of the item than the humiliation. So l want to be Clearfield on if that's the custom in Aldi for future reference. Thank you.

We had a terrible experience in the Aldi at Doral city. My mother , who is 77 years old needed to go to the restroom. One employee told me they were cleaning the restroom, after more than 45 minutes, I asked again and I got the same response in a very rud manner. I asked him to talk to his supervisor and the lady was even more rude , her response was that the restroom would remain close until next day and that many places has no restroom for customers.

I would pay for homeless to make trains out of your shopping carts. Thru my teaching of principals and ethics. Retired teacher. I will not spend a penny to shop at your store and pay .25 for use of a shopping cart.

Missing online furniture order. Customer services wanted every detail about me. Sounded like a call centre in India. Wasted my time, still could not track my order.

Dear Sir/Madam
I am a regular customer in your store in Kingston Rd.Ewell which offers good value
However, I am perplexed and fustrated at the recent decision to lock spirits in a cabinet, which because of delays and confusion has forced me to shop at other supermarkets. Including Lidl for these items! Will this policy be reversed soon? Sincerely.

Went to aldi for the first time to get what I thought was a good deal on a beef roast. Didn't notice till I got home that the use by date had expired two days before I bought it. Wasn't very impressed with what I saw in the rest of the store either. Won't be going back.

Was at Poplar Bluff Mo store and the cashier named Dakota is the rudest and most unpleasant person I was ever waited on. He was slinging our food in the cart, mashing the chips,
putting the four one gallon vinegar jugs on top of everything including our fruits and vegetables. He had about twenty (20) items left to scan then he told me to get my money out and he would be done with me. He is not a person that needs to be there. we had words and he said "what the f its not no big deal". I talked to the manager and she said he was wrong. I don't know why they would keep someone like that on the payroll. He didn't even count my change back just handed it back in a wad. My wife just walked away from him. Will not go back in that store again.

Lol, I saw a woman dressed as a catgirl when I went shopping there once. That was awesome. Other than that, what a depressing place.

Cashier go so fast throwing my items in his basket before I had a chance to even bag one he's dumping the next customers stuff in the basket on top of mine as a result I didn't get all my items that's BS they need to hire more people on the register or slow the F down I'm sure they're told by management to move fast like that the hell with the customer

The worst experience they dont have anything worth while product nothing rude cashier would never ever reference anyone to shop here .

Posted by Worthless Aldi Gift Card

Do not buy an Aldi Gift Card. I brought a $15 Aldi gift card for my sister as a Christmas present DEC 2022. My sister went to an Aldi store March 2023 to buy items with the Aldi $15 gift card but was told that the balance on the card was zero, nada. The gift card had not been previously use. After several attempts with Aldi corporate customer service, no one was competent in helping trace the gift card transaction.

What on earth is going on with the new Plastic doors everywhere? Totally ruined a quick and easy shopping experience, if there is another Lockdown ,Aldi will have serious issues with these new space age doors that make the store ugly and uninviting. It can hardly be to oreserve food as everything has hardly any shelf life in it as it is!!! Who ever made this ridiculous decision to produce thousands of plastic doors and bolt them in every store needs to take a good long hard look at themselves - awful decision and one that has cost you this customer.

The Owensboro KY store has the most amazing workers. I overdid shopping at the store a few days after hospital stay. They helped me out by loading my cart and checking out. They opened another register and brought people to the front to help. Thank you

I love Aldi products, particularly the produce, lean beef, and cheeses. However, please don't bring back Kevin's braised beef tips. The meat is dry and tough; the sauce is bland and soupy.

Thank you to cashier P in Liskeard who chased after me with my card today and saved me a lott of hastle

August 7, 2023 I shopped Dunkirk store #86. I really don't like to shop. I needed an item I could not reach. I asked an employee that was stocking shelves for help. With a big smile and " of course" I had my item. Going down frozen food isle, my waffles were too high. The same employee was straightening items and again big smile and I had them. Check out was unreal. The young man told me to leave my heavy watermelon in the cart and he used my cart for my checkout. He was also above and beyond nice. I actually liked me shopping experience for the first time ever. I was in the store 11:30 and checked out at 12:15. I unfortunately did not get their names but they should be recognized.

Recently purchased hot honey gouda. This cheese had no discernable flavor and a plastic texture. Very disappointing. Your goat cheese on the other hand is delicious.

Aldi's is changing their policies it appears. No weekly ad at the front door. Ribeye steaks on ADD for 799 a pound showing 1399 a pound with a tag saying priced as marked. Hiding add items. What is going on with all these.

Customers should be addressed as Ma'am Sir or Miss, not honey.i find it unprofessional.

We spend about $400 a month at Aldi's. We have shopped at Aldi's ever since your west side location opened at West 25th and Denison Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. Last week, we bought 2 pints of specialty ice cream -- chocolate peanut butter, and vanilla almond chocolate chip. THESE ARE EXCELLENT. And I AM AN ICE CREAM SNOB who prefers Mitchell's Homemade (a local product). Please continue to offer these pints. They are perfect.

I'm someone that uses Aldi as my main source for groceries.
My favorite item is the California Medly t veggies. I buy 10 packages at a time once a week when they're available . The nutritional value, quality and price are the best I've ever found in any of the big grocery stores and doesn't compare to this product.

The manager at this location went above and beyond for me today she is an amazing employee. She is always friendly always helpful hardest worker I've ever seen I hope she is being noticed for all she does

Aldi's has been raising their prices weekly for over a year, while other retailers seem to have leveled off. For instance, your French onion dip has climbed over 20 cents each week for the past month. Walmart has you beat on a number of products now. Especially eggs. The wholesale price of eggs plummeted in december, and you are just getting around to reflecting that in your prices now, near the end of February. Some of this has to be playing price gouging- whatever the traffic will bear. Even Publix has you beat on certain produce. Given their high prices, this is an accomplishment. I buy very few things now at all these, since most other stores have you beat on price.

Thank you Aldi for having rye bread this week. I wish you carried it all the time. I love my Aldi's ?

On Saturday the 4th Feb 2023 I was at the self check at the Aldi High Street shop in Sutton Coldfield attempting to buy some flowers for my dads grave. However when I got my purse out I realised that my card wasn't there. I suddenly felt really stressed and realised that if I'd lost it, it could have been fraudulently used by now and I'd need to contact the bank to cancel the card, then wait for a new one. I was hoping that I'd just left the card in my other coat, which I was wearing the previous day, but needed to go home asap to check. My mind was racing and I felt sick, and I asked the assistant if she could cancel the flowers off and explained why, I said that I was hoping my card was at home and that I'd come back later for the flowers instead. However the shop assistant told me that she could see I was upset and said that she would pay for the flowers herself so I could take them with me, and told me her name was Hatty. She told me not to rush back but just to go back in whenever I next got chance. I thanked Hatty and quickly rushed home where I was pleased to find my card in my other coat. I felt such relief. I then went straight back to the shop and thanked Hatty for being so kind and gave her the money back. I feel it's important to say how kind, thoughtful and supportive Hatty was. She had never seen me before and went out of her way to help me at a time when I was stressed. I've never been in any shop where I've had such kindness shown to me and believe that Hatty should be recognised and congratulated for being such an amazing ambassador for Aldi.

I shopped at Aldi's in North Smithfield, R.I. I would like to complement Anthony, the cashier who rang up our order 2 weeks ago today. He was very pleasant and accommodating and also was very professional. He is a credit to your company.

Wonderful prices and good quality.
But please take the cashiers off the timer! They almost broke wine bottles and throw everything in the cart not looking to see if if it's bread at the bottom. It's not their fault it's the store's policy. However, the timer does not make a difference because the lines take long anyway.

I would like to add my comments of Aldi Nowra NSW. On the 4th of Oct 2022 I paid for my
goods with my mastercard. It was accepted and then the console shut down. When it came back on I paid again, it was accepted once again. The next day my statement came through on my email which showed that the amount had been taken out twice. Drove into Aldi on the 5th, showed the wonderful Natalie (manager) my bank statement. After her going backwards and forwards to my bank, she found that the CBA had taken the amount twice, but Aldi only got one payment. Aldi have reimbursed me the money I spent. Natalie from Nowra Aldi was gracious and did everything she could to help me. I have no complaints with Aldi whatsoever.

Aldi Review
This is a review for Aldis address:
1530 S.W. Arvonia
Topeka, Kansas
66615
I am currently 37 weeks plus 2 days pregnant. You can imagine I'm exhausted, sore and mildly uncomfortable. I was using the instacart so all I had to do was drive up and be done with grocery shopping. I had invested so much time the night before putting the list together. When the order "confirmed" and went through I deleted what was in the cart to make another order for Friday. Little did I know that despite the "confirmation" of the order one has to leave it for a certain amount of time. So you can understand how sad, disappointed and frustrated I was when I came to get my groceries and only received 3 items out of 22. Shelby was the one who delivered to my car and tried helping me through my confusion and referred me to customer support. After calling and understanding how instacart works I went into Aldi to get the items I needed so vitally. Shelby checked in with me in the store and made sure I was able to get through to the instacart support team and then had my groceries covered for me! Everyone Shelby showed me compassion and when above and beyond the call of duty. She saw an exhausted mom to be and helped. My Faith in humanity has been brought up so much higher. I cannot appreciate this act of kindness and charity more and I pray Shelby and those at Aldis get abundant blessings from God! May God bless you Shelby! I will never forget this and your kindness!

I am a dedicated cashier at an Aldi store. I enjoy my job. I enjoy 98% of the customers I serve on every fast paced, hectic shift. We bust butt and do our best to accommodate the large volume of Customers we get every day. Im probably one of the slower cashier's because I don't throw your grocêies in the cart! I take pride in the way i handle and place the items in your cart. I handle your groceries the same way I would want MY groceries handled. Yet several times a month I am berated and yelled at and threatened by some disgruntled shopper who is "calling corporate" and told "I will never shop hêre again." Because I drop a can, or you think I threw your chips, or your item was pushed off the belt by your other items and fell on the floor. Because YOU are having a bad day YOU feel entitled to take it out on me. You call corporate with an embellished story of the incident that set you off, which makes you temporarily feel better. Do you realize how hard we work to serve YOU? Do you realize your actions might cost an employee their job? Because you were having a bad day you want me to feel as miserable as you are? If you don't like the fast pace, or having to bring your own bag or paying for a cart then don't shop here. We have very limited staff on a shift. It keeps the prices low. That is why YOU shop here. We are doing the best we can. Please try to understand this before you start calling me names or threatening to call corporate. And if you can't do that, then please...don't shop here. I'm not your punching bag. It's the holidays. We have more customers and are doing our best to serve you all.

I am writing to let you no that I was employed by Aldis for 19 tears at store 31 Johnstown, Pa. I use to think I was very lucky to be part of that team. Now I find out that what I was told I could not do, someone else at this store IS allowed to do. That employee has been employed there less than 2 years. Now I know that no matter how much you do for this company they do not care. I gave everything I had when I worked there. Now the employees can do what they want to do. Our managers always helped us with everything. Now they do nothing but boss them around. I feel they have a lot of turnover there because of this. Please look into what I was not allowed to do. I feel very hurt about this situation. I hope that someone figures it out before they lose a lot of GREAT employees at store 31.
