I have been with Allstate for over 25 years
Moved approx 10 years ago, assigned a new agent
He then placed us with Allstate INDEMNITY stating it would save us
money with kids, additional cars, house on our policy.
That was a bold faced lie!
Our policy has increased every renewal.
I am now paying over $4000 every 6 months for auto, and almost $2000 year
for homeowners!
When I expressed concern, the agent was rude.
He is unreachable when called, often the receptionist handles the policy transactions
I stated to the agent, "He is my agent, not the receptionist", his reply was, "she can
handle the policy transactions". She's not my agent!
I said I was calling the home office and the insurance commission, he gladly emailed me the phone numbers.
What the heck, $10,000 a year, and the coverage and customer satisfaction is _______.
This is how Allstate treats loyal customers

Our home was hit by an Allstate insured drunk driver. It has been 12 days, and I am still dealing with getting switched from department to department. My house is not secured and not safe. I have spent the last two hours trying to talk with a supervisor, and getting nowhere. Allstate is certainly not the "Good Hands Company" they advertise.

Most unhelpful customer service I have ever experienced. Switched from one person to another and not a one seemed to know what they were doing. The one that did knowingly gave out false information

Posted by Don't Buy Their Condo Insurance

I had condo insurance with Allstate; a pipe broke in my bathroom and leaked through the vanity to the garage ceiling. They denied the claim stating that my condo should cover it despite the fact that the condo master policy only covers damage to the building. Then they said it wasn't an "event" since I did not discover it immediately. I asked if I had been away (which I am all day) shouldn't I be covered. After 3 weeks they sent the adjustor who gave me the same news. Allstate had no intention of paying for this despite the fact that the reason I have condo insurance is for this type of event. From the start, it was clear that they were going to wiggle out of a claim that was under $3000. Needless to say I have moved to Liberty Mutual for home and auto; I contacted several insurance brokers who told me that I should have been covered since as a condo owner, I am responsible for everything within the walls of my unit.

My agent is charging car insurance for the car I no longer own and he is fully aware of that fact.We bought used Toyota Corolla in May of this year and the same day we took the old Honda Civic 1996 to the scrap yard. That car had only liability insurance. Now we have two fully insured cars and he is still charging $240 for the car we no longer owe.Is this considered a fraud ?

Claims adjuster admits she found video & pictures on her desk from auto wreck scene after she had issued to her own insured a 40% liability for an out-of-state driver leaving their lane and hitting her own insured's SUV. On a recorded phone call and prior to Sandra's letter citing 40% liability in the wreck, Sandra stated the TX driver had lied on several things in the interview and it was evident that she was 100% at fault. Allstate has mastered screwing over their own customer. Way to go Sandra Farris, Claims Adjuster, Oklahoma City, OK! A professional suggestion Sandra, proofread your data before sending it out, "I could locate any Oklahoma statutes in section 47 or the rules of the road handbook that specify which lane has right of way where two lanes merge into one but neither lane terminates." You leave your Allstate customer having to guess what you're trying to say....UNPROFESSIONAL, ILLITERATE, FRAUDULENT

DROP ALLSTATE !!! April 12th Mobile Alabama had several days of torrential rain in which water was discovered leaking into master bathroom, and hall HVAC closet. I opened claim with ALLSTATE- after a few days I had first call from ALLSTATE asked me if I was aware I did not have wind and hail insurance- I said yes I am aware of that- it was torrential rain, not hail- he said ok and asked a few questions and said they would get back with me. A couple days later I had a call from ALLSTATE rep she said she was looking at my claim, and was I aware I did not have wind and hail coverage on my policy- I said yes I am aware, and it was torrential rain no hail- she documented a few things, and call ended. Later ALLSTATE adjuster called to schedule appointment at property location- he said just wanted to let you know your claim will most likely not be covered because you do not have wind & hail coverage at that point I got mad- I said you know I find that real interesting that you are the third person representing ALLSTATE that is telling me what I don't have on my policy-that pretty much tells me what you are up to. He said well in my thirty year career I have never seen rain cause damage. I said can you repeat all of that because I am getting a lawyer, and I need to document exactly what you just said. He said well let me go to property do inspection, and we will go from there. I said is that really necessary at this point. So my cousin who was at property location said they contracted out another company to get on roof, and he was asking the roof by chimney looks bad have you noticed leaks there. no she told them. He then had the guy go to front of house does it look like it is leaking there. no he said- almost as if he was trying to steer where he wanted the leaks to be (strange). So after inspection I get a call that roof was installed incorrectly and claim will be denied. He did say that ceiling in bathroom would be covered, but after I made deductible- which of course is more then damage. now back to roof that was installed incorrectly. We bought house in 2005 at which time we got ALLSTATE insurance, and have had until present. The previous owner had roof installed 2 years before we bought home. so ALLSTATE insured house with incorrectly installed roof that now they say they will not cover. Now the best part I can not go forward with legal until I have denial letter- so they had supposedly sent twice. In this time I received one change of address request from ALLSTATE as I moved and was now renting property, I received separate cancel letter effective July 1st, one refund check for overpayment, but still no denial letter. I called for like 3rd time to get denial letter ALLSTATE said why don't we send to new address since we have mailed two times and you have not received- I said not to be difficult but I received the other separate mailings with no issues- she said I see your point. So another letter showed up I had my cousin forward letter thinking it was denial, but it was a letter from ALLSTATE wanting me to come back for car insurance. yea right!!! I finally received denial letter Friday, got a call in to my Attorney now just waiting on him to get off vacation- then ALLSTATE can pay for my lawyer, and my time away from work dealing with this !!!

My Family Has Been Looking Into Getting Allstate Insurance. However After I Witnessed How Your Company Works And Does Not Give Professional Service To A Long Time Customer Who Was In A Terrible Near Fatal Accident. No One Have Lped Her, No One Answered Questions, She Was Left Hanging And Ultimately Had To Get An Atty. Allstate Is Supposed To Be On Thier Clients. I Have Been With My Friend And Its Not "hear Say".. I Heard Her Try Ng And Begging For Someone To Help Her. Nope. Not A Damn Person Assisted Her. It Is For This Obvious Reason That All 5 Of Us Will Be Going Elsewhere. You Should Be Ashambed. This World Is Tough Enough So To Compound It With Lack Of Line Interest With A Human Being That Pays Monthly For Protection From You. We Are Out Of Here Plus I Read Your Suck Reviews.

this review is based on my experience with Christina Villabosa at Allstate (claims adjuster)
this person is a lier and dishonest!
i was involved in a car accident with my two under age (toddler and baby) daughets. Christina Villabosa was quick to send a "good fair" "for the troubles of being in an accident check" and send to send her all and any medical bills i would have due to the accident. after following up with Christina Villabosa she said that the check was for bodily injury and the medical portions would be separate. i trusted her hallow words and deposited her check for $2000.00.... after i proceeded to contact her and ask her if she had reviewed and received my medical information she rudely said "you got a check didn't you" and i replied... yes i did and this check as you said it was separate from any medicals i would get. this person then said that it was all tied up and the moment i cashed it i lost all claims.....

i said, you said that this was separate and will be treated a such. person being as dishonest and shady she was said "nope cannot help you"

everyone should beware of dealing with Christina Villabosa, she is a lier and very dishonest.

my bad experience with Christina Villabosa, does not represent how i feel overall or think of Allstate. but this person should be properly train and should understand that she is representing a company.

Tabetha Campbell Thompson agency is the worst!!! Tabetha and her staff are very incompetent individuals and the office manager is a functioning alcoholic.Tabetha is never available to speak or to meet with.Missouri the office curses like a sailor on the phone with customers and won't process changes properly.I've found 3 things wrong with my policy in the past month

I want to let everybody know how horrible the service is with the Agent Erica Clark. She is an agent from AllState in Wellington FL. Anybody in that office gives the appropriate respect for the customers. I am having an issue since Feb 2015 and they have not been able to solve the problem; every time I call they blame on each other. There is a there girl called Jacky; you think that she's doing you a favor for having the policy with them; she has a horrible attitude and Erica is always "busy" to take your calls. Please DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY OR EVEN BETTER DO NOT USE ALLSTATE. I am cancelling my policy today.

Valued Customer = Own defender

I have been with AllState for 6 years with a zero accident rate until this year. All state does not value their customers no matter how long you have been with them faithfully paying and renewing the policies. When it’s time to use their services after an accident reality kicks in, AllState doesn’t care anything about you. The real definition of a valued customer becomes you are lucky you added collision benefits to your policy or you would be on your own. I will begin with telling my story, I had an accident and the same day I called and put in a claim. The first person I got during the 30 mins statement I was somehow cut off and transferred to do a survey. I hung up and got agent #2 whom listened, took a 1 hour statement and told me he was the claim starter to begin my claim and that someone else would call me to help me with any questions I had about my claim and help with getting my car fixed. I received the 3rd call 1 hour later and it’s the 3rd person whom is considered the Advocate AKA investigator/human lie detector asking for the same statement you gave which takes up another hour of recording your statement. Then after all the recordings and getting information on how to fix your car you are given a claim, collision name and a I hope you feel better, we will call you once we listen to all the recordings to give or deliberation. The agent does not explain up front if they believe it’s your fault which a valued customer only wants to hear honesty of how the matter should be handled and how much money will I need at the end. After I end my call, I get my car fixed, pay my deductible and move on with my life. Day # 2 I get another survey call wanting to know how was the claim handled 3 ½ weeks later I am still waiting and waiting for that last phone call to hear my verdict but still no one from AllState has called. No one called to ask if I had issues getting my car fixed, no call explaining how the claim status is going. Finally I decided to contact Allstate via email wanting to know the status of my claim. I received a call from the 4th agent that the original agent left notes and claim was transferred then the agent telling me in a rude way that when the accident is your fault we do nothing, we document the claim and that’s it. Then I got a lecture on state laws and how I need to deal with the bad news when all I wanted was someone to call me the next day with an honest answer of how the matter will be handled, what fees I am liable for. Not a sarcastic caller, telling me something I already knew which should not have taken 3 weeks of waiting to hear. Its horrible to make someone think you are working on their behalf trying to get a deductible recovered LIE # 1, hospital co-pay recovered LIE#2 and leave you with don’t call me we will call you. No matter how much you believe it is NOT your fault someone can at least explain in a delicate way and how.

I cannot believe that you support Esurance. They never seem to do what they say they are going to do. They are giving you a bad reputation

Was in an accident that was not my fault. The at fault driver had Allstate. From the first call, Mary Beth the claim rep did not ask me how my kids or I were doing or what happened. The first call was not exactly rude but it wasn't pleasant either. The next conversation about getting the rental car while my car was in the shop was very rude. The whole experience has been filled with me calling speaking to different people telling me different things in a rude tone. I tried to call corporate to complain but it sends me to the local agency. I've spoken to the office manager about the tone, total lack of communication and follow up, and time I've wasted dealing with Allstate. He did not call me a liar, but said Mary Beth is usually very nice and number one goal is my satisfaction. I personally have Allstate for my car and home insurance, after dealing with his bull, I'm changing. My local agent is good, but knowing that this horrible customer service goes on here is unacceptable.

I had an accident on December 11, 2014 using Allstate as the insurance due to being hit by their customer. My claim number is 0351119219CKM. This was the worst experience I ever had. At first, I was told that it was a courtesy to get me a rental car. The adjuster was never assigned and no one ever called me to let me know when they were coming out. As it was around Christmas time, it took longer and the rental was not communicated and I was told by Kellon Meyers that I chose the body shop. I will never use AllState. It is no wonder Consumer Report puts you on the bottom for customer service. There is no customer service with your company. I therefore am letting you know and will call to complain as well. I was treated poorly, and not being at fault, I should have been treated like it was important. I do feel they owe me an apology and knowing Allstate, I probably will not get one. Again, no customer service whatsoever.

This is my third posting in one week.It is apparent that the truth hurts Allstate and its arrogant agent. The other postings keep disappearing. The greedy hands people.Allstate raised my commercial policy over $500.00 for no reason. when i cancelled my policy they charged me a $130.00 penalty telling me it is on the declaration page. Who reads the entire package? The agents rep never told me. your in good hands LOL

The safe driving bonus check is a scam! They send you a check and on the back of the statement they add that amount to your bill! It's the equivalent of a mortgage company sending you a $10,000 end of year "bonus", then adding $10,000 to your loan balance! That is NOT a bonus! In fact, I cannot even believe it is legal.

My Home Burned Jan 3 2014 We Are Still Trying To Settle! They Have Been Horrible. Now To Get Rcv We Have To Send In Receipts For The Adjuster To Breakdown Item By Item. We Had To Hire A Lawyer To Get Close To What We Were Paying To Be Covered For. They Are A H O R R I B L E Company!!!!! You Are Not In Good Hands With Allstate Or Atleast We Werent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they do not care about people, their adjusters does not include things and low ball you, then when they are done with there paper work some things was not put on the claim that should have been, then we got screwed from ever using the policy when it comes to roof for our home. They are getting FREE money, They do not add up cost to claims and want you to do their job by getting quotes so they can review them and maybe put through. i have fought with them for years about the same thing and they have given me 4 different excuses. I had to up my deductible and change coverage to even afford their prices, our policy was renewing and was UPPED $500.00.they do what they can to not pay claims and make it hard to use your policy you pay for. They keep putting money in their pockets and not helping people with the policy we pay for. They know it is LAW to have the policy and they play with people lives. They are out for money not the people.

Received an Allstate letter on 8/4/14 regarding Abandoned Property COE for unclaimed funds dated 5/12/2011; it is now 10/20/2014 and I still have not received anything. I remember receiving a check from Allstate, but misplacing it. The time delay regarding these unclaimed funds is ridiculous! Allstate knows that at one time they submitted you (someone) a check, so simply re-submit the check again; what is the problem for this delay and why does have to take so long .........!?

2 months of Allstate had me begging my old insurance company to take me back. When I called, I found out that Allstate hadn't even informed my other insurance company that I was changing. Hence, I paid for insurance to 2 companies for 2 months!! DO NOT - EVER - get tangled up with Allstate. I intend on filing complaints with Feds and State of Ohio about this!!
