No one ever answers the online help center. It states 3 minute wait, and a stayed on for 2 hours without any human answering. The bot is useless, and can't do anything. It says it will get a representative, and then asks what you want again, and drops the conversation. This is the worse experience I ever had with an online shopping experience. Now, because no one would cancel my missing part claim ( had the part made) that I tried to cancel the minute it went through. Because I couldn't get a human for 24 hours later, you are stuck paying postage to and from Florida, for a 120 pound item. I wonder how much money is wasted because you can't hire someone to do customer service.

I saw BBB Warehouse was having a 70% off sale. I ordered 7 items on July 31. The website said I would receive the order between August 2 and Aug 4. I am moving out of state on August 10. The timing was perfect for the delivery. I could put the boxes in the POD Storage Container and have all my belongings delivered at the same time. On August 2 I received a "Your Items Have Shipped" email. I clicked on Track Package to find the items I ordered are in China. I pulled up the Confirmation of Order email. At the bottom was a contact email address. I sent them an email asking about my delivery. which got returned. I then went into the website and looked up contact information. They had a different email address. So I sent an email to that address, which got returned. I found an 888 number on their website and called them. You get a recorded message saying to leave a message with your name, order # and reason for your call. It also stated that your call would be returned between 9am and 6pm EST. I never received a return call. As of this morning. August 5th, my order is still sitting in China waiting processing. It has not moved one mile. I clicked on the China Post website to find it can take up to 45 days for packages to be delivered to the USA. How BBB can give dates when your items will be delivered that are completely untrue is infuriating! You cannot change the delivery address of your order either and can only cancel your order within 30 minutes from when it is placed. If I had a crystal ball and knew what would happen today back when I placed the order, I would have had it shipped to my new address. If and it's a huge IF, my packages ever make it to the USA and are delivered, I will not be here. DO NOT, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ORDER FROM BBB. No wonder they failed as a business!!

I ordered a cookware set at Bed Bath & Beyind that I wanted to pick up at my local store. Without any explanation, the order was cancelled, and funds were supposed to be in the My Rewards account within 24 hours. It's been 3 days, and no rewards ever showed up. Manager at the store says there's nothing he can do since transaction was online. BB&B just robbed me of over $330. Calling customer service is not helpful. They tell you to leave a number and someone will call back, but they never do. I've tried 3 times. Beware!

As a consumer and having been gifted gift cards , I more than disappointed that there was a deadline to use them ! This is money spent , and until the padlocks are on the store doors , we should be able to use them !! It's the same as money ! You should be providing refunds for the list gift card money , if we can't use them !!

Very disappointed with customer service. Ordered item in store and needed to make a return. Items were returned FedEx but the refund was not issued in the original form of payment due to the store closing. I was told I need to go online and accept a credit that could only be used at their stores. I don't shop on line and will not be driving an hour away just to use store credit. Having problems getting them to reverse the refund and place on my Bed Bath and Beyond credit card. As it appears I still need to pay my credit card bill for items that were returned

Customer Service Agent rude and no help. Promotion for spend $300 get a $100 and another for spend $200 get $50 is a flat out joke. Waited with no points issued. Visited local store spoke with manager who said they had some glitches. Called customer service AGAIN!! No! After 60 days they flat out lied and ripped me off. No surprise they are going into bankruptcy. False advertising is criminal

Worst customer service!

They have no idea what is going on and they never answered any of my questions. Instead, they kept going in circles with their vague answers to avoid actually helping me. They can't even fix the simplest problem

I ordered a package for my parents for Christmas.

The first representative I contacted because their website never added my gift wrapping. So I contacted them to do a simple fix. They ended up charging me $17 more. Gift wrapping is only $5.99.

Then I had to contact a 2nd representative to fix it but they didn't understand what's going on. So I said whatever.

Now it's been a week late. I contacted customer service a 3rd time for a tracking number. No one knows why my items haven't been shipped, but won't take the time to fix the problem. I was patient, I told them I'll give them another week.

Now it's been over 2 weeks and still no tracking number. I contacted them for a 4th time. One person offered me $4 off as compensation. What is $4 going to do for me? All I wanted was my package to be shipped right away and a tracking number. I told the representative it's been over 2 weeks, and they kept repeating about how it takes 3 to 6 days to ship. Yes I'm very well aware of that!!! That's why I'm here it's over 2 WEEKS. They never helped or solved my problem. Instead offered to cancel my order. Then suddenly they got disconnected and I was talking to someone else.

The 5th representative I spoke too said the only option was to re-order my items, but how long will that take if my original order is over 2 weeks late and how does re-ordering help? So I ended up re-ordering it as I felt I had no other options. And of course they charged me $37 more than my first original purchase.

TO BE CONTINUED.... as I need to contact them AGAIN to cancel. I'm sure there will be more issues cancelling too.

In past years BBBY has had a decent selection of Hanukkah items offered for sale, but this year they have cut down the selection to a very few. This shows a lack of caring for those of us that shop in the BBB stores looking for these items! When I asked a clerk about this fact she said "the buyers have decided not to purchase very many of these items this year". Even your web site has very little Hanukkah items. However when checking Home Goods Stores they have a humungus selection. Shame on you BBB stores!!!! M.A.

Very Poor Customer Service. Ive Been Trying To Order Bedding For A Few Days. Your Site Wont Accept My Email Address. Says Its Invalid. It Is Not!!! Cannot Reach Anyone. Ridiculous Machine Asks Questions But Doesnt Have Capabilities To Correctly Respond Or Understand. Looks Like A Lot Of Complaints With Only 5 Resolved. What Does That Tell Your Upper Management? Unfortunately I don't know her name but I give her 500% for running around to multiple self service check out trying to resolve issues. I am just a customer - albeit a limited one. Please take a few moments to read and try to appreciate my sincere reflections.

In light of the current economic situation, .... I'm going to be blunt here
(neither one of us wants to read or write any more "blather" than necessary)

I'm an "old fart' ...and there are A L O T M O R E of me.
I am in my mid-60's, and have a six-figure income.

I have ALWAYS referred to your stores as simply, "Infomercial Heaven"
Infomercial stuff no longer holds any appeal to ANYbody, from all I can tell.
Aside from visiting your stores to purchase coffee during your sales, I literally have no reason to shop you. Your regular prices are "out of sight!"

Folks in my age bracket ... that's 'two generations' ago ... have money and are-or-were desirous of a 'fancy home', 'fancy furnishings', etc.
I sincerely mean no disrespect to you; but I'm being honest here .... A "new fancy blanket", some "fancy bathroom soap dispenser", or some "fancy new towels" literally do not even make my list.
If it did, the list would extend well past the end of my big toe; and that's exactly where this stuff would sit.

Please consider the following:
Forget hiring someone to "turn things around"... it's not going to happen.
Your business merchandise model is dependent upon a generation of people that NO LONGER EXIST (we're all dying off).

Please don't disgrace your shoppers and your creditors by doing anything "drastic".... as in, even if there was no "corporate direction", I'm sure your cut-of-the-profits managers are finding as creative ways as possible to reduce their costs. (...and I can only IMAGINE the "fallout" from issuing some memo this this effect).
It's just emotionally sad to me to watch this happen; and I felt the same way about Sears... hence this email.

The absolutely worst customer service and supervisors are no help so don't bother. I ordered something the beginning of April around the 5th never got notification item was on back stock and wouldn't be here till April 25th. The worst place to shop will never use this place again they were rude and just so inconsiderate cut you off and then never canceled My order like I asked I will never shop here My first and very very very last time -00000 on review.

I purchased a comforter online and returned it the same day, unopened only to be told I would be refunded in Fund Awards that can only be used at bbb.. $247.
I paid immediately and followed protocol for a return.. I don't want the Fund Award.. I Want My Money Back!!
Stick with Amazon.. they are super focused on customer service.. I will never shop here again!!

Can speak highly enough about the customer service at the Skokie Bed Bath and Beyond.

However having experienced corporate customer service I am highly disappointed. Customer service rep was polite and professional. However listening did not seem to be his strong point. Management needs to retrain him.

When a customer voices their complaint, may I suggest the customer service agent repeat what the customer is concerned about. Repeating myself several times is frustrating. Asking for a case # and being ignored and then asking to speak to the manager and after 5 minutes on hold (again) and getting disconnected is not a way to conduct business. Especially when I signed up for the Beyond+ membership.

Suggestion someone should follow up to make sure customer's concern was resolved. It's level did not seem to care.

When transferring a call 1st level should stay on until call is transferred. Thank you

I am writing to ask you to reinstate Mike Lindell's My Pillow to your stores. You are treating Mike badly and unfairly just because you were advised by the left with their war tactics to drop his products because he was standing with Trump.

I am one of those 75 million people who voted for President Trump . I have been buying from your store for years.

I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience at two locations in WA today, Jan 17, 2021. I stopped at the Bed,Bath and Beyond, Bellevue Crossroads store. I was shopping for the Bee & Willow twin flannel sheets that I viewed online. I was at the checkout with sales associate, Yenesia, who was very courteous, helpful as I was looking for a particular print, w/o success not in stock I asked if another store carried that design. She contacted her superior, Bill who has access to view other stores inventory and he graciously took over and contacted the stores. He personal looked for me in the store to advise he located that item and needed my name to put on hold.
It's not often that one would take the time to send a complimentary letter of their experience, more often one is quick to send a note of dissatisfaction.
I decided to drive to a closer location in Redmond and look at their inventory, prior to leaving I called and spoke to an associate, who knew exactly what I was inquiring. I drove to that store and not realizing the associate put it on ahold. I was directed to Allesandro (last name), he was from NY, he held it in back and to my amazement I now have it and ready to take it to CA for my 90 year old mother.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at your stores here in WA. They all went beyond a customer's expectation, all three Bill, Yenesia and Alessandro were so genuine in providing great customer service In experience and care. I am very grateful to have made the trip to those stores.

Went to your Yorba Linda, ca store today and had the most nicest cashier ever. Her name was Darla. She had the best attitude. Was very happy which rubbed off onto me. I haven't been in bb&b since pandemic and was pleasantly surprised with her customer service. I will be back to this store because of her! Thank you for your kindness Darla!

I went to you Durham NC store off of 15-501 North. The employee Anne help me sign up for rewards and save me 30 percent on my order which was about $200. She took her time and showed me how to do the process. Her customer service was so appreciated. Plus a left a bag and she walked out to parking lot to lot to make sure I did not leave it behind. The associates at the Ithaca Bath and Beyond store in Ithaca NY were excellent. Shantell helped my husband and I locate the items we were looking for in the store as well as showing me how to bring up my discount on my cell phone. She was Very pleasant and kind and went the extra mile for us. Leah the cashier was very sweet and helpful also. Please let them know we appreciate great customer service and they certainly have what it takes. I worked in tourism all my life and I know what good customer service should be.

I received excellent customer service from my local Bed Bath and Beyond store in Jacksonville Beach, Florida today. Sierra was the sales associate that assisted me with my purchases. She absolutely went above and beyond my expectations! So often businesses only hear negative feedback, but it is my pleasure to share my positive experience with you! I went to the BBB store #607 in Brooklyn Ohio on Friday August 28,2020 to find a specific shower curtain I saw online. The sales associate, Cassie, was BEYOND helpful in getting my item ordered. She was super kind and very patient with all my questions. I'm a senior citizen, and in today's world am very appreciative of happy helpers! Cassie is certainly an asset to your business! This is a store I will continue to go to and hopefully Cassie will be there to help me. Thank you.

I was at home and had found some pillows online that I wanted to buy and the #103 store in Alpharetta, GA showed having 10 of them in stock so, I went to the store and the ones I wanted wasn't displayed. I asked for assistance and interest in assisting me and even went to the back to check and wasn't able to find the exact pillows even though Ms. Martha G found them on the computer. Ms. Martha G even went to the back to check along with Ms. Isabel and the gentleman working back there and still came up empty handed. Ms. Martha G ordered and had them shipped to my home address. I'm appreciative of Ms. Martha G taking time to provide customer service and to show an interest in helping. It is hard to find people wanting to help but they do want their pay even though they don't work for it.

I visited the BBB store in Dallas on Park Lane and I was in the black Friday crowd I went back to pillows and was helped by a man named Corey. He went out of his way to help me with the pillows for my legs. He showed me the styles you had was very patient with me and helped me with extra cases for the pillow.
I asked him about another cushion for my back and he looked and walked all the way down the long aisle to find it. (it was not in his dept.).
Another employee asked him a question and did came right back to me.
He certainly went out of his way to help me on such a busy day.
I hope BBB will let him know to keep up the good work!

Hi there - I was at your Bed Bath & Beyond #2044 store in Burnaby, B.C., and had the best experience ever due to the exceptional service that I had with one of your Customer Service Representatives by the name of Annabelle.

She really took her time with me as I couldn't decide on what kind of Duet cover that I wanted to buy. We looked at both of them on the Computer and while I was there, I saw a couple that were on clearance, but only in King Size - I needed Queen Size.

She didn't hesitate to see if she could get me one and she did. So needless to say, I was quite excited and said to her that I think I need a new bed skirt as the one that I have wouldn't match. We saw one and I told her I was very fussy as I had to make sure that I got the right one. Well, we got quite a laugh out of this and she stood right beside me until I was happy with the one that I picked out.

Not a lot of employees that work in stores, would take as much time with a customer the way that Annabelle did.

She was lovely to deal with so I thought you should know and I also mentioned it to the Manager there as well.

We need more Customer Service Representatives like Annabelle.

I want to thank a certain person in customer service and care. Her name is Melody and she helped me redirect a package that for some reason at the store where I purchased it, could not help me re-route my package. Ms. Melody took her time and not only explained in details what would happen but personally took time out of her schedule to call me and keep me updated with a purchase. Its always the small details that employees take to treat a customer with respect and care. Thank you very much to Ms. Melody and making this extra special as the gift is for my 81yr old father for fathers day!

I received service above and beyond from Laura at the store at the plaza on Mapleview just east of the turn off from Hwy 400. The quilt I wanted was not available in the store but she went online and found it for me and was so helpful in ordering it and some matching pieces. She could not have been more accommodating!! An associate today was of GREAT ASSISTANCE TO ME IN THE PURCHASE OF A BATH RUG. SHEILA BEECH, ASSOCIATE IN THE Corpus Christi Store intercepted gracefully when a floor associate informed me that the Pink Bath Rug was NOT AVAILABLE, AND actually that associate really never looked up from her stocking of shelves, just said NO. Sheila was there, ask me to come to computer with her, ordered it for me, was very Gracious, Helpful, and extremely efficient. She has it coming straight to my home! What else could I ask for! I was so pleased. Please share this information with the local Corpus Christi, Texas, store manager. I will make sure that it is; when I receive my rug, I will make it a point to thank her and make sure the local store manager knows that they have a great employee.

Every experience I have had with customer service at Bed, Bath & Beyond has been wonderful. Often, they go the extra mile and surprise me with something I didn't even expect. It is due to their customer service and return policy that I usually think "can I buy this at Bed, Bath and Beyond" before I make a purchase.

I can't say enough good things about Bed Bath and Beyond. I just returned a piece of back therapy equipment to a store in Greenville, SC that I had bought there 5 years ago. The clerk very kindly (and with a good attitude) took the return and refunded all of the money I had paid for the item in 2010. I did have the original box as well as the receipt, but I was amazed that they still refunded the money 5 years later...and with a good attitude. This certainly builds customer loyalty, so while there I bought a few other things. Way to go Bed Bath and Beyond, and thanks!!

Today, I was shopping at your store located at l4824 S. Military Trail in Delray Beach, FL. I required help from an employee and was lucky enough to find to help me. I must tell you that it was an absolute pleasure to work with her. Not only does she know the stock but she is by far one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I own an interior design firm and have dealt with many customer service representatives over the years. This was in Naples Florida on Pine Ridge rd. I have rarely seen the attentiveness and caring that the cashier Mary ( sorry I did not get her last name) gave to customers. She was truly interested in their life and customer experience. I had problems with an item and she quickly and FRIENDLY with a smile found a resolution to my problem. I have several options in the area but will return on the same day of the week hoping that I get Mary to help me. She is an asset. I don't usually reply or comment just hope someone actually reads these things.

Paul D., Larkspur Mgr, gets an A. I was Pleasantly surprised by his Great Customer Service!

Bringing back an item last week, I was only going to ask if there was a way to order a missing nut bolt so we could use it. We thought we could just run into the box hardware store and pick one up. Nope. Then tried 2 others, 1 chain and 1 local. No one had a simple nut screw bec it was metric. He replaced the item cheerfully.

We spend $1,000s at BB&B and will continue to do so!

We purchased a Keurig 2.0 coffee maker for in May. We already had a single cup Keurig and visted someone who had the 2.0 w/carafe. We have been thrilled with the purchase, had to contact Keurig to find out why the coffee didn't stay hot, to learn that the carafe wasn't a thermal carafe, and we could obtain one thru Keurig. Had the new pot in a few days. Would highly recommend. And, thanks Keurig for the free pods for my unbiased review of my experience purchasing a Keurig at Bed Bath and Beyond. Will enjoy my pods!!

I am an employer at the Bed Bath And Beyond in Iselin New Jersey Route One South. They work us like "DOGS" and not only that they have started a practice if you work 5 hours you are required to take a mandatory lunch break for 30 mins. Whereas, it is stated 6 hours or more. We have a new store manager Jacki and our District Manager Pat and these two women are so unfair and our store is not what it used to be----so if you want and really need a job---please know that if you work in this store---you will work for very little pay-----

I have worked for this company going on three years. It is an allright company. They expect 100+ from us and give us back way less. The raises suck! You clean the restrooms and expect to have them shine. They treat you like poop sometimes. I enjoy learning new things, however they expect you to role play. I don't think you should be expected to do that, you should be given the option too. They now have a new policy where at night time one employee leaves the building goes to the car and then alerts eveyone it is safe outside! That is BS especially when it is only girls on that night and the parking lot is filled with weirdos! I stay here because they work well with me and my schedule. That's it.

I have worked for the company for around 5 years at 2 different locations. The company is very good about allowing me to transfer back and forth and work around my busy schedule. The store management is extremely nice and most of the district staff is interested in your personal growth. The only bad side is that pay raises are not the greatest. I'm sure a large part of this is due to the economy, but it is still a negative aspect...Otherwise I have no grips about the company..it is an awesome place to work...
