I had an issue with my blender is literally started smoking and almost caught on fire it was even overheating and some a$$hole from this company named Fernando Thomas who is a Sr Agent Specialist just told me in a single email *That's very unfortunate. You should have kept it but we will not be able to assist you* this prick does not value anybody safety at all it's an absolute shame that they have people like this working for this company STAY AWAY AT ALL COST

I echo a lot of these comments. My blender is smoking and sounds horrible. Customer service just simply says they can't help me. I paid &350 and it doesn't last??' Not good. Not good at all.

Blendtec has the worst support, they do not care to help you with a melted destroyed blender made with cheap defective parts, it was a waste of over $400. I thought the unit was going to explode with the loud noise and smoke coming from the base, due to what they told me was base issue. Maybe they should let the customers know of the issue rather than having a useless blender that just ended up in the trash just after only a few uses. It's junk.

WILL NOT BUY AGAIN! Warranty returns are a nightmare. Expect to wait several months to get a working blender from the warranty department!

Our Blentec Pro 800 (it was actually a Pro 795 on clearance) was exceptionally quiet for 4 years of almost daily use. Then the motor started to smell, and eventually struggled to spin even with no jug on the blender. No problem, part of the reason we paid so much for a blender was the warranty. Well, gather round children for the nightmare story.

You have to send a video of the blender on "Smoothie" cycle, along with the serial number. Okay no problem. However; Blendtec take their sweet time (about a week) diagnosing this highly complex scientific information to confirm your blender doesn't sound like it works. Then wait another week for them to actually generate the shipping label for you to send back the blender. A couple weeks will pass, and eventually you remember "oh yeah, why haven't i received a shipping notice from Blendtec yet"? Contact them and they'll give a vague indication that something will be there "soon". Another week later a recondition blender shows up at your door step.

Hopefully the reconditioned blender you received back -after a month- actually works. Ours didn't. So, we had to restart the entire process.

They straight up ignored any request to cross ship, or expedite a new replacement unit.
There is ZERO priority if they screw up and send you a replacement unit that doesn't work out of the box. I don't even understand how that happens. Does Blendtec not test the reconditioned blenders before sending them back out? We received a different reconditioned blender that literally had the exact same issue our old unit had, but worse.

The second round of trying to get a replacement amounts to legal torture. You know all the steps, you provide the required information and respond to emails within minutes and but there's literally nothing you can do to prevent the process from taking another month.

If the blender had been 8 or 9 years old when this happened (nearing the end of the warranty), i probably would have just purchased a new unit, and sold the replacement once it finally arrived.
After this experience though, I won't be giving any more money to blendtec. Ever.

Considering blendtec? RECONSIDER! They offer huge warranties because they never intended to honor them. Two months trying to get an answer on my claim. Nothing but five requests for serial number and promised to get back with me. SPEND THE EXTRA FOR VITAMIX!

I have been trying to contact Blendtec customer service more than a week and same message like due to high call volume... and no response. Also, sent an email and no reply at all. I am not sure how these people are managing.

I had a terrible experience with this company after I purchased a Blendtec and it was still under warranty. The started leaking and it made a mess in my kitchen. I called and reported it to the company and was told to send it back in for it to be replaced. I did and another one was sent bout to me with the same exact problem. I was told that a few of the jars were defectives and that was the problem. The 3 rd jar was then sent and it did not solve the problem. I reported to them that it was the base and not the jar. They refused to believe me and told me that wasn't the issue. I was stuck with their high priced Blendtec and no action to help me on behalf of the customer service. They talk a very good game but do not back up their product. I had to take legal measures to get it resolved . I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING Else from Rip Off Blendtec Company Again! Buyers Beware!!!

I have been trying to create a warranty claim at Blendtec website for several weeks now (since early Dec 2018) without any success. I tried to chat with a representative since then with no sucess - although I am the only person in the chat queue their chat engine indicates that they have lots of people in the queu and drops my session. The 1800 number does not work and they do not respond to my notifications using their 'contact us' page and form........ do they really have a customer service and warranty process?/ I doubt!

I placed an order for a blender on the Blendtec site. They charged my card twice and have not record of my order. I've been on the phone for over 30 minutes 4 times and I still can't talk to anyone. I've emailed and got a response that said they saw where I placed the order on line but have no record of my order and that I should wait a few days. I asked a few more questions but have not heard back to my email and its been over 48 hours. If this is what their customer service is like, I don't want a bledtec blender anymore.

button on mine? My Blentec only has one row of buttons? I tried to call 800 no.

I returned my malfunctioning base on June 18, 2015. I received an e-mail from Marilin Nido on the 19th that the new base was shipped & it would take 7 - 10 days to receive. It has been 18 days today & UPS has no record of a shipment to this address. I again e-mailed Marilin Nido to ask for an update. She replied that the new base was shipped & it would take 7-10 days? 7-10 days from when? I ask for a UPS tracking number on July 3rd & July 6th which she has not given me! I have called customer service & waited 3 hours for a call back.

Hello! Since 30.12 / 2013 I wrote on the site and I have not received any response so far short write on your site from Blendtec you make me lose my trust because not respond to your request as you write on your site My Blendtec is broken I bought a Blendtec since May 2013 until now was all ok few days of the new year I just bought twister jar and two days before the new year 2014 I tried to make an almond butter after about 15 seconds and started to smell smoke coming from the engine at Blendtec when I saw what happens I stopped immediately and then I've never started since then I try to contact you to resolve this issue but I have not received any response from website Blendtec I had great trust and believe that you are a successful company with a great quality in the manufacture of Blendtec blenders but now I'm disappointed because I wrote two times I have not received any response from your company just ignore it means it is not as you have written contact Blendtec complete the form below. Blendtec representative will contact you shortly. After I bought the Blendtec I've registered my number Blendtec on your company website my number from Blendtec MODEL BLACK ES3 still hope you can help me to solve my problem with my Blendtec Thank you for understanding!

My name is Debbie McGlynn, I just want to take the time to let who it may concern, that I received the BEST customer ever from Mike Olson...it is people like him that make customers like me coming back! I have the the original Champ HP3 which I purchased in 2003....Mike help me by providing me with the owners manuel, which I misplaced and was very helpful in helping me through different things. He was patient, he was kind and very helpful...I felt comfortable! Since then, I recently purchased the professional 750 blender. Mike was there again, supporting me, helping me with issues I was having with my brand new machine, THANKYOU, Mike! I have to say, it was Mike that saved me from not going to another company like Vitamix to replace my defective Blendtec. I hope you acknowledge this and walk over and give Mike recognition!
