I received a free carfax subscription for a vehicle I purchased,but cannot access the site. Set the password and keeps on telling me to verify which I did repeatedly. So glad I didn't spend 99$ 0n this scam.

Case# 14533967 Wrong report mentioning AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. They have reported Air Bags deployed on my car wherein I never had air bags deployed. I filed a complaint before and they fixed it and now its back again. This is the second time my deal got cancelled to trade in this car because of carfax system issues. I need answers and who is responsible for the monetary damage i have gone through TWICE. This is unethical and unprofessional way to do business, they have no right to update wrong records for anyone's property. No dealer in the town would give me market price because of what carfax has wrongly updated.

Carfax is terrible. I used them before and singed up for 5 new reports ($99.99) They charged my CC immediately, but the reports were not available to use. When I tried to run the VIN, they asked me to pay for more. Attempting to contact Customer Support is a joke. Their Phone number and online chat are just answering services that run you in circles. It's been 4 days and no one has contacted me back. I am disputing the charge through my CC company and will never use Carfax again. Apparently their reports suck too...Leson learned.

Can customer turely trust on @CARFAXinc

I purchased car in Aug-2014 with clean Carfax. Now when selling the car, carfax is showing an accident on May-2014 (3 months prior of my buying).
@CARFAXinc is saying they have NO warranty covers.

I was charged $105 when I requested to pay the 39.99 report. After being charged that amount, I received an email asking once again for my car's VIN #. After once again entering the the already received info, I was again asked for a payment method. At that point, I was done with the company. I am still irrate, frustrated and feel as if this is another scam. I will do my very best to receive my refund back and will freely voice my opinion of this company, as their behavior appears to be intentional. Jennifer Fontaine

Yes my dad fell asleep driving his 2012 chevy Colorado in Ava Missouri back in June or July of this past year.He died in the accident but all that was hurt on the truck was a broken tie rod.My son is a mechanic and he and l came to Missouri and he fixed the truck and l drove it home afterwards.My Uncle called to get a carfax report on the truck and he was told that it had a salvage title and l want to know why because my Mom paid the truck off so she could sell it for what the value is for the truck.Everyone calls carfax and they get back to us and say it has a salvage title and that is incorrect and the truck is in excellent condition.

Carfax is a total scam. Paid for 3 reports and I can't log in to their website or access a report. I work as a web developer for a living, so it is not an issue with passwords, etc. They are just completely incompetent.

If you want to have your money stolen, then go ahead and sign up. Otherwise, pass.. oh and they barely have any customer support to help you out.

I was charged the incorrect amount for 1 carfax report. Carfax charged me for 6 reports and I only wanted 1. Charged $99.99 and the correct charge is $39.99. Please change this. Tony Adami

I equate CARFAX to Credit Bureau Reporting where they report innacurate information which is difficult to have corrected. And in the process of submitting your inquiry, they REQUIRE you sign away your legal rights or they won't accept your request to correct their mistake. And yes, it's their mistake as we confirmed the reported structural damage was not noted by the repair shop nor by Travelers Insurance. This is injurious to a car owner to devalue an asset without any notification or FREE Car FAx when negative information is posted, just as is now required by Credit Bureaus. CAR FAX needs oversight.

Yes I brought a used car from a Ford Dealer. The car fax wasn't true. The car had a lot of problems a month after I brought it the engine went. Why wasn't it in the car fax?

Carfax sucks, they just cost me $5000...I was trading in my car, until the dealership ran the report, and found a false report of my car being a total loss...after which, my car went from $5000 trade to zero. I have owned the car since new, it was only in one accident, and NOT a total loss. After an hour of trying I got a person on the line, but it may as well have been a robot. Refused to get me a manager, supervisor, or anyone else.

Any other vistims of CarFax fraud? If so, we need to find each other and blow this out of the water!

Put in 3 different email addresses to include two that Carfax put in along with 3 different passwords 2 of which your website put in. Continual computer rope-a-dope; (no matter what I or your website put in, the website says it's wrong). Would like to do business with you but can't if your website continues to block me.

Have tried to contact them as they put a Totaled on my truck and it was never even close to totaled. Trying to rectify it and no one will call back. . Their incorrect information is devaluing my vehicle by $8000. I will have to take them to court.

I've never had an accident w/ my BMW yet Cafax reflects 2 accidents erroneously- NOT ACCURATE -
Attempting to rectify the error, I found major difficulties w/ finding a contact number and no details on erroneous report followed by lack of immediate resolution - Too bad.

I just paid for a CARFAX report. They charged my credit card but did not give me the report. This is ridiculous that they don't even have a customer service number to speak with someone. I tried the "Live Chat" 2 times and no one came on to help me. I have also sent them an email. Now I'm contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge since they apparently can't provide the service. I needed that report ASAP.

I went to carfax to obtain a report on a vehicle. I did not receive any info. Also, I had to provide my credit card number for the report. My account was charged in spite of the fact I did not receive the info. Carfax advertises frequently to obtain the carfax report. However, carfax does not make it easy for a consumer to obtain the information. Also, I am dissatisfied that there is no direct telephone number to speak to a live rep.

I purchased a carfax review. I paid the monies. However, I am disappointed I am not currently able to review the report. Carfax has receive my monies. In my opinion, I should be able to review the report now.
