The Chipotle, on 394 Myrtle Ave Brooklyn, NY, apparently does not require their workers to understand the value of communicating effectively and respectfully with their customers. On Oct. 6,2023 my 13 year old daughter and I witness a "manager" tell a young customer (a HS student) that they DID NOT ACCEPT a 2 dollar bill as a form of payment. The total amount of the order was $7.39. The customer presented a $5 bill with two $2 bills. The "manager" was oblivious to the company policy, because it is accepted. She then very rudely took the customers food, which was in a bag, and threw it at a nearby table. No justification for such action. The young customer, visibly upset, calmly walked out of the store. My daughter and I also walked out vowing to NEVER step into this establishment again.
On Sept 15th my daughter ordered food on the chipotle website. When we went to pick it up the system had been down for a while. Instead of making the website unavailable to order food it allow customers to order food but not able to fulfill the orders upon arrival. When asked for a refund the works says that we are to request it on the website that we ordered from and it would take 4-5 days to get refunded. Workers at the restaurant were rude and unprofessional.
I ordered for salad (chicken) and noticed that the worker gave VERY little portion of chicken. We are regular Chipotle customers and we have been around to almost all Chipotle locations within our area and the portion given to us was unusually very little. We tried to ask the worker to add a little more but he said we should pay extra. We asked for the manager and instead of just adding a little more to appease us, she started blabbering to us that the portion was right and started saying all kinds of excuses and reasons. If she just added a teaspoon of meat, that would be the end of story! This manager does not have PR and needs proper training in customer service. She does not have the right attitude to work in a service oriented establishment. (This was at Chipotle The Promenade, Edgewater and we spoke to a female manager on Sunday Sept 03, 2023 at 9 pm). Stay away from this branch in Edgewater, bad PR and lousy customer service....? By the way please look at Google maps Reviews and you will see that this place is notorious for this particular complaint of short changing on food portions.
Ordered burrito bowl-chicken Pastore, cheese,sour cream, green peppers/onions, green medium salsa. Order did not include green peppers/onions,did include guacamole and spicy salsa. Allergic to guacamole (hives) and my tongue is burning.
Kitchen staff should be more aware of filling the orders properly. Not happy I was required to take antihistamines.
Your Chipolte in Rye Brook NY is badly mismanaged. Dirty and on two occasions I had to point out that the polite, but poorly trained staff was undercharging me. While the staff is polite the manager, Jennifer, is extremely rude and really should be replaced. I did not bother to complain until a number of people on our neighborhood blog expressed similar views. Although further away we go to the Chipolte in Mamaroneck NY as it is much better managed.

We live in rural Virginia with no fast food and only a couple of greasy mom-and-pop joints. We go to Richmond for doctors. My wife saw some of the Chipotle commercials about their fresh guacamole and she insisted that we JUST HAD TO eat at Chipotle next time we were in Richmond. We ate at a Chipotle in Richmond twice -- the first time and the last time. Food is horrible -- greasy, unidentifiable stuff piled on top of other unidentifiable stuff, wrapped tightly; guacamole was tasteless green goop; the seating was on stainless steel tables and chairs that reminded me of the movie scene of mealtime in a prison. Menu is tiny, cannot read it; rushed along through the serving line; could not figure out how to get drinks. Will NEVER BE BACK and will tell all our friends.
Your store in Posner Park Davenport is DISGUSTING!!! I'm calling the board of health bc this was not the first time this store is filthy dirty no utensils the food behind the counter was a mess had no chips at 4:30 in the afternoon line backed up in the drive thru I WALKED OUT and WILL J"NOT RETURN to this location I'm calling the Board of Health Immediately!!!!!!!! GET A GRIP CORPORATE instead of worrying about the $$$&$$&$ This store is DISGUSTING ??
I am so disappointed with this evenings visit. I stopped by on my way home. I am a frequent customer here on Wolf Rd, Albany, NY. I ordered a salad bowl. There was no dressing for salad, no peppers and onions and every thing was very messy. I asked for peppers and onions and was told flatly they had none. The container with chicken, was almost empty, with approximately 1 or 2 tablespoons of chicken. This was at 5pm on June, 30 2023. My ordered came to $12.99 with small bag of chips. So I actually paid for lettuce and 1 spoon of chicken . This is awful. I did take my order and was very angry for the uncaring lack of service. If you are not going to have a complete supply of products then why are you open!
Chipotle is synonymous with terrible service. In the last month I have walked in and been completely ignored by ignorant employees who continued sweeping the floor instead of servicing customers IN THE STORE! Moronic low functioning minorities have no clue about decent customer service, or even that they should greet a customer with words. Total monkeys.
Trying to get in touch with someone over the phone and on chat was absolutely horrible. Had surgery and wanted to purchase sides of rice that my fiancée would go pick up with his order. No option to add side of rice on app and wanted to ask if it was possible to do at all before heading to the restaurant. Could not get through, the automated system was a nightmare and when call was finally directed to the restaurant no one picked up and it wouldn't redial. Imagine actually experiencing an issue with an order you already placed.
Chipotle's food taste good. They are chincy As h*** On their steak and chicken Portions. I realize it's organic, But twelve to thirteen Small chunks of steak and chicken in a burrito causes you to add everything on the bar just to have a decent burrito for 12 to $13. Add extra meat it's eight dollars. F*** Chipotle I'll never eat there Again!!! One flat spoon serving of meat. F*** y** greedy b*******. I'll Eat at filibertos. F*** the organics
Went to the restaurant on Plaudit Place in Lexington, Ky on May 12th at 4:45pm My wife and I were the only customers in the restaurant. There were 5 workers at the cash register talking. About 3-4 minutes past without one employee even acknowledging our presence. Then, 3 workers walked back towards the kitchen without saying anything and the last 2 employees walked over to the table with the condiments. About 2 minutes later we walked out and again not one employee said one word. Terrible work ethics.
This is the same restaurant that gave us half bowls of chicken, rice, cheese and sour cream about a week ago. We even asked for larger portions and still ended up with half bowls. We will not darken the doors of this restaurant again.
Chipotle's experience was horrible the floors were dirty in there they needed to be cleaned they had no food in the containers where they needed to be so they can see them and see what it would definitely from no onion no corn the chicken was burnt and you can smell it outside but I just assumed that oh no that must have been earlier or something I wouldn't go back there to Fox Street for nothing
I placed an order online under name Becky at the Romar Dr., Milford OH location. Order showed status ready online at 8:20. Entered and waited until 8:50. Worker said he was working orders from 7 PM and couldn't cancel my order. There were atleast 15 people in waiting. I called 800# waited 30 minutes. I want my refund.
Tried ordering with the website Online, some technical difficulties with online payment. Selected a pickup time and pressed Submit Order however order would not go through. Called the store to verify if the order went through and it did not. They wouldn't take my order over the phone and remarked they have been having issues since they opened. I will never ever return to Chipotle we have other establishments that I will take my business too from now on. This is the recently newly opened Chipotle in Payson Arizona.
Just left the Chipotle at 7644 Lyndale Ave S Ste 200, Richfield, MN 55423. I ordered a chicken burrito and and order of chips & queso. I told the order taker, I told the vegetable person and I said "chips and queso" twice to the cashier. Aside from the apparent language barrier, she was incredibly distracted due to many to-go orders. The inside of the store was not busy, but I had to wait several minutes to be helped due to the large number of to go orders. Once I got to the cashier, the burrito and the queso were there, and she rang me up while talking to another employee in Spanish. Hardly acknowledged me. She put the burrito and queso in the bag, but no chips. When I asked about the chips, she grabbed my receipt, pointed out that she did not charge me for the chips and tried to argue I didn't order chips. I could not have been more clear without yelling. I did not appreciate her arguing. I expected to pay for chips and queso. I took the queso out of the bag and gave it back to her because, without chips it is useless to me. Called customer service. They literally will not do anything. Did not even ask my name. I don't want free food. I merely want the staff to pay enough attention to understand the simple order I repeated at least four times to three different employees. As they cannot do that, and as customer service does not care, Chipotle has seen the last of me for this lifetime.
To who it may concern I went to the Chipotle on white Bridge road the lady there on night shift is very respectful and always have a great attitude I seen when she didn't even have enough employees that she still was very respectful. But what I don't understand is why a lady with long nasty dreads always have issues or attitude with this lady. I feel in order to get respect you earn respect. And I'm guessing the lady with the dreads is the boss by that being said if she did have and thing to say to the lady she should have pulled her to the side and talked to her as an adult not as if she was her child. So I feel like the lady with the dreads needs to learn how to have respect and maybe can keep employees. I'm surprised the lady at night is still there

I love love your food. I go to Chipotle at least once a week. Your chicken tacos are awesome. I don't understand why you serve corn taco shells that are so fragile. I can't even pick the taco up with out it shattering. With everything being such a high quality I don't understand why the taco shells are so sub standard.
The employees working at the Val vista and baseline location were absolutely amazing. They were obviously short staffed but the employees there were an amazing team and provided absolutely amazing service.They all need raises! Whoever manages this location needs to be very proud of these guys!

She displayed calmness but was proactive at the same time. I am fine, now.You have a manager who exceeded expectations and showed leadership

Today I had the greatest experiences at your store! They store was busy as usual but your great working staff kept your line moving swiftly. I could not help but notice a beautiful young lady by the name of Desire (I'm not to sure how to spell her name but it's pronounced) "Des, er, ay" Anyways, this young lady was so accurate, fast, and friendly! I had to give her they greatest compliment. Please give her a raise! I love you food and your staffing choices are beyond impeccable!
I would like to say that's I am extremely happy with the service and dedication under the management of Mr. Joseph Lucent and staff. I go everyday with my family and everyone is so pleasant and very efficient with the service. The place is very clean and enjoyable. I go to the Chipotle I recommend this location to everyone.

You have a manager in Denton named Frankie Hernandez. He is a horrible manager and runs his store unprofessionally. He lies to employees about promotions and has them do duties that they are not paid for to raise their hopes to move up. He has continuously lied and led on a crew person for over a year and had her train people to do the job she is told she will get without being paid as a trainer. He changes the schedule without notice and will have people cover their own shift and if they are not able to will have them come in sick when this is a strict policy. He has refused to let an employee call in when she was throwing up and told her to cover her shift. This is not the way to run a business. When he's had 3 people quit in 3 days what does that tell you? A high turnover due to poor management and a deceiving boss doesn't make good business sense. When given the opportunity for a transfer was denied because she couldn't find someone to do her job? Thought about quitting and reapply at another location to make more than the .37 cents she's made since she started and was told she would be put in as non rehireable? She trains people that make 11 dollars an hour yet still doesn't even make 9.50 from 3 years at a job. Never been written up. Something is wrong at this store!
I cant believe that that almighty dollar is more important than the employees. Pennsylvania and Delaware getting hit with heavy snow. Michael the area leader states if you don't cime in your fired. The electric company is making more money than Chipotle. In fact, they are losong money, great managerial skills, nit.
I went to an interview at 2753 - TPC & 281 San Antonio Texas today. I am very upset with the GM. His very unprofessional, uneducated. He didn't even read my resume. I asked him why he didn't read the resume, he said, he doesn't check the resume at all. I told him I worked at Chipotle when I was in college, had experienced and have good people skill, my major was hospitality.... Then he told my about second interview, he told me that whole crew have to approve me to work over there, I was like what kinda the company does that when they don't have va n kno me... when I was working at chipotle I never heard the manager was asking us if he should hire this person or that person ... when I heard I was like really? Why do I have to get approve by the crew? He said that's the rule and policy of hiring people at chipotle. A while we are talking other lady came for an interview and she was Hispanic and all the people who works there are Hispanic except me. I didn't mind at all. The part that I am upset with this place is as soon as I got home from the chipotle, I got an email saying I didn't got the job. I feel like this is discrimination and the GM doesn't know what his talking and doesn't know how to be GM.. I love chipotle it was my favorite place when I worked. Now I have second thoughts about this place.

Good morning , my name is Cheryl and I just would like to let you know what I experience on my interview last week on Wednesday February 24, 2014. When I came in I was asked by one of your peers may I help you and then I told him I was here for a interview and he said no way no way are you serious and I said yes and to me that was disappointing to me I not ugly or broken down I look good for my age, i probably look better than him but for the records it don't matter about age it the principal and the should never happen to anyone again just do your job that all I need to say. And it took 4 day's to get back to me is also rude on that manager you have on your staff but I will be ok. Hope nobody have to experience what I did and it will never stop be from eating at chipotle it still the best
