Dear buyers at Costco. We are avid coffee drinkers and have purchased Don Jose Medium roast for years recently our local Costco in southern California has stopped carrying Don Jose Medium roast. Medium Roast does not have as many carcinogens as it's not burnt like the dark roast.

We are asking for the San JuanCapistrano or Heather Ridge to please continuing caring the Don Jose Medium roast coffee.

A Worst customer experience at Costco compared to Sam's Club:
While entering the Store, you need to show Membership Card, else you cannot access, even if you just want to see whether you want to be a member or not.
2. The products are costlier than Sam's club of the same quality. Also many products like fresh produce are not available.
3. When you go for self check-out, store associate will scan some of the items with some doubt.
4. You need only " VISA " credit card to pay with..
4. Once you leave the Self check out desk, one associate having a writing pad will check your receipt with the items.
5. Again, while leaving the store, someone will again check and verify your receipt with the items in your cart..

Horrible shopping experience..

I purchased Sukhi's chicken coconut curry with mango. It was delicious. But...... the box and cooking instructions say it includes 2 pouches. Mine only had 1. My daughter said hers only had 1 also. I didn't have a scale to see if it had 2.25 lbs in one pouch. Either we were gypped or box is misleading.

I would agree that customer service (telephone) needs improvement. Especially in the tire section.
It's not the actual individual placing tires on a vehicle,
It's the support staff answering the phone. On phone for 30 minutes no help from rep.

Costco service is not responsive in a timely manner nor engaged and leadership is lacking for credibility. We received a dryer with delivery people not checking the dryer.(third party in the footnotes) After about two hours, I decided to go and run a load of clothes. The dryer when turned on blew out my breaker. I was stunned. I tried again after reset, it again blew out the breaker. After two and one half hours, that is 150 minutes of my time, I finally reach a person. Do NOT waste your time with on line as they cannot do anything but give you the customer service number to call after 22 minutes on line. Then you call and 42 minutes later, you go through this gyration of buttons and transfers to which they tell you that it will be submitted the next day to the "higher" ups and will be minimum of 5-7 days for a replacement. Why did we replace a functional w/d I ask myself because after 20 years of the w/d we felt like technology would advance. We purchased LG because we waster our money to buy Consumer Reports subscriptions that rates LG the highest. Well, not in my world. Then this is the best of my wasted time- John the final person tells me to wait on the phone for an evaluation of customer service. Well, it went through the gyration again about it is so important to Costco and will have a time at the end of the survey to leave a voice response. Well, guess what, it cut off immediately after going through the gyration with a dial tone- no user error on my end. I am not sure what I think. I am quiet irritated and annoyed with Customer Service not the call receiver, but the management. I read a great book one time about "why do bad things happen to good people". I get it- people are mouth vehicles of their leadership who really don't care, just want high pay for executives and cannot resolve issues. Oh, so they call in high powered consultants who say, you need to buy this piece of software, rather the company should do a root cause analysis- not outsource the world they cannot control because it is "cheaper" and we as consumers need to be more loyal to our home town company that really takes care of us that is owned by independent owners who get it even if a little more cost. Not good Costco..

Extremely bad customer service. They do not explain their process to you. But when you have an issue with it, they basically Say too bad it's on you.

I went by Tigard Costco today to top off my tires that were all low. It was almost closing time so I asked the guys when would be a good time to have my tires rotated. The young man started to say it was not even going to be possible, when the grouchy older guy said that I should make a f...ing appointment. I would have liked to blame the situation on bad employees but I know the real reason is Costco is intentionally under staffing to cut corners. I would not have even asked but the last 6 times I have been in the store there was a minimum 20 minute wait just to talk with the 2 guys both working the desk and doing the work. Ridiculous. Never again.

I work at Pilot Truck Stop in Morris IL, Costco's contracted truck driver dumped Watermelons that could have fed people who are starving!! Come on! Whats wrong with this situation??

Costco.com does not deliver to certain businesses. But does not tell you in advance. Couldn't talk to a supervisor. Warehouse hours are like banking hours for those of us that work night shift.

I ordered a tire from Cosco a month ago. And after 10 days, I went to the service center to change the tire. Of course, there was a reservation. But he said he had a reservation, but no tires. They couldn't check it, so they just asked another department to check it. As a result of checking, the tire company said it did not send it, and received an answer that it would send it quickly. I asked if the order could be canceled, but they said no. He said he couldn't do it because it was in progress. And I waited. Another 10 days have passed There is no answer. When I asked him what happened, he replied that it was in progress. He also said he would help if he wanted to cancel the order. I was angry. Everything was easy if you canceled the order from the beginning, but this is an act of deceiving consumers and not responsible. I was angry, but I said I'd wait. Because the tire prices are good. But the answer came a week later. It is said that my order has been canceled. I didn't. They canceled themselves. The reason is that an error occurred while processing the order, but I don't understand that it was canceled due to an error after processing it for a month. Cosco employees are so bad at their jobs. Their salaries seem to go up a lot, but they used to work better. My month is such a waste.

Costco cancelled my order twice with vague reasons as check your card and check your address, when my order was cancelled the first time I changed the card thinking it could be bank issue despite their website mentioning that they support the payment from the specific bank but I changed it anyways and ordered again and then it was cancelled again. Reached out to customer support to learn that they have a horrible system and their automated system just tells you your order status which I already knew and was asking me to go to the very same website and contact the customer support from where I got the number at first place.

I tried chat option and I was told that the purchase amount is too high so it was cancelled and since it was late night the department is closed and I was given a reference number by the person to reach out later and provide it to the agent so that they can pull the history and I will not have to repeat everything again. I tried contacting later to recieve the worst experience I have ever had with any customer service. The lady was not interested in anything, she did not bother to read any of my message and rudely repeating "what I need assistance with" This is despite clearly mentioning what happened and providing the chat reference number.

The funny part is this time the issue was not "high value transaction" as previous agent mentioned, the new agent told me to go to post office to fix my address because somehow they Costco cannot verify that a person with my name lives at the shipping address I have provided. Funny enough it is the same address associated with my bank which which they processed the payment for my membership. I am trying to wrap my head around the fact that how it even matters, The payment is done with the card which has the same address as shipping address so why Costco cares as who lives at the address.

I went to Costco today in Clearwater Florida to help this 84 years old lady.
We have all the groceries in the grocery car when we are on the cashier to pay we had to ask for help from an employee
The employee discovered that the Costco's card belonged to this lady's husband because the used to go together and she never has her card
We explained that her husband (92 years old) was very sick with health problems and she has his Credicard too
We spoke with 3 employee including the manager
They didn't allow the wife to buy the groceries
I'm thinking this is unacceptable and cruel
The are rules but there are exceptions too
Very disappointed with your company

Terrible Costco customer service at Alhambra warehouse, extremely rude and unprofessional asking customers to wait due to their faults

What has happened To Costco customer service? Lubbock Tx tonight two cashiers with extreme long lines, 6 associates @ self checkouts (laughing & conversations with each other), 4 associates @ customer service with no customers & 2 @ the door checking your receipt which they can't possibly count items!! Put these people on the sales floor or in the checkstands helping customers!! So frustrating to shop @ Costco any more!!! Plus there were absolutely NO boxes up front to assist with putting products in our vehicle!

Costco San Dimas,CA would not refund my CITI VISA for a purchase because I did not have the physical VISA card. I had the original receipt which is good enough. $591.43 was the total purchase of which $35 was a shop card. Clerk insisted that the $379.79 item had to be refunded on a COSTCO SHOP card and not the VISA. I explained that the item was purchased on the VISA due to the fact that the entire purchase was $591.43 which was not purchased on the COSTCO SHOP card. I will send a complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to notify them of COSTCO's faulty business practice. Refunding purchase with a COSTCO SHOP card ensures that the member must shop exclusively at COSTCO. CITI VISA was of no help. I will be canceling my CITI VISA.

My wife and I were treated horribly today at Costco in East Peoria Illinois. Upon approaching checkout, we were accused of attempting to scam the system by using someone else's membership card, so we were asked to show our cards, which we did when we entered the store. My wife, who uses a cane, did not want to take hers out again. That's when three large, loud, and very rude employees began yelling, and berating us, acting like bully's and tyrants. Insisting that we comply or they were prepared to remove us from the store. We are elderly, and I asked them to stop treating my wife that way, and she began to cry, and she showed them her card. She was extremely frightened and upset by their overly aggressive and rude behavior. But it gets worse. They then continued to harass us even after being shown the membership card. We asked multiple times for them to please leave us alone, let us check out, we showed our membership card. But, they would not stop attacking us. They would walk away, then come back and start in again, "explaining" their policies, while they smirked. Chuck especially enjoyed insisting that we listen to him and he kept insisting that we explain why we were upset, while he smirked and grinned. The entire time my wife was crying her eyes out and feeling extremely threatened. When we finally finished checking out and were leaving, we stopped at the service desk to let them know that we would not be renewing our membership after 13 years of membership. That's when they called Chuck, the "manager" and he came up and said, "That's it, your out of here. We will check your receipt and then your out of here." He made sure they checked every item in our cart, while my wife cried, even though he and two others watched us ring out. Chuck seems to get a kick out of being a jerk.

If you are black or brown at the self checkout line, expect your cart to be checked 2-3 times, while the white customers barely get a glance...here's looking at you Costco in Cincinnati

Customer Service is a complete misnomer at Costco. It is the WORST. I have never had a good experience. I have also caught them in lies when I have gone into a store to get help because their online people refuse.

My hair pulled from when she "tapped" my shoulder so I'll rather drive to next Costco

I rented a car at Enterprise via Costco for a one way (1.5 hours) pick up at the Pittsburgh airport to Fairmont WV and paid ~$200 on 3/17. First, they told us that the Enterprise office was going to close at 5:00 and that they might charge us for an extra day. We asked if they would call and ask if we could leave the keys there and the man told us that we needed to call. So we left in the rain and had no idea where we were going and my 78 year old mom was trying to help me navigate while calling the office to ask if we could leave the key and not be charged. Why couldn't they call on our behalf? I just don't understand that considering that they called us on Sunday and left a voicemail telling us about our charges. He works at the same company as the folks in Fairmont, probably had their phone number. I consider that to be customer service 101. 2) It was challenging in that they didn't accept my debit card even though I begged the man to use it. He wouldn't even swipe it. My 78 year old mom and I were desperately trying to get to see our relatives for a funeral. My mom asked if they could pay and he said that the card needed to match the name on the reservation. Funny considering that it was my husband's name on the reservation and not mine. He then said how about if we try to create a new reservation. He said he couldn't and then he turned to my mom and said "you'll need to make the reservation." Like seriously? We're standing in the office and you want her to take out her phone and make the reservation? He then recommended that we try Midas inside the airport. I could have cried. I finally said "wait, can I use a credit card from work?" He said yes and it worked. Huge sigh of relief and literally just wanted to scream, cry and run away from him. He then asked the lady to give us an upgrade. It was a total cluster.

I went to Costco Monton yesterday (Feb,25,2023) around one o'clock with my kids. The worker who helps the customer there to self-check out my stuff. Her name is Amy. She is definitely a helper. But then the machine came out help on the way and she called amy for help. "Don't stand next to the machine," she said with an expressionless face and an annoyed voice. she said. At that moment, I was so ashamed and felt so bad. I don't understand how a service staff can behave like that to a customer. I've seen too many rude people at Costco. Of course, there are many good people, but I want to change amy's behavior.

Poor customer service!! My husband is unable to speak English well and can't express what he wants in English and the customer service lady refused for me to help my husband. She even said I am not allowed to talk and that my husband need to turn off the loudspeaker. My husband ask if possible to get an interpreter and she just said sorry..!!! We end up cancelling totally the Costco membership and guess what, they returned our membership payment to the CIti account that is not active despite of telling her to return to the account used to pay the membership! Only COSTCO customer service did this to us!! Very rude and racist customer service!!

It has been 30 years since we joined Costco in Nanaimo and now here we are the same size building and parking lot. The population in the area Costco serves has almost doubled in size and here we are with the same size Costco. Driving around and around trying to find a parking space is getting very annoying, same as in the store too many people in too small of a store and waiting in long lineups both for self serve and cashier manned.

Dear Sirs: Your Costco Same day delivery is a fabulous service. We are 49 miles from the Kona Costco store and Gregory D is able to make a same day home delivery with a smile each time we have used the service. Keep up the great work; we are glad we bought the Costco shares years ago.

Jasmin is an employee in the optical department of Costco in the Marina Del Rey, Ca 90292 . She needs to be commended on her kind professional manner in dealing with customers and especially senior citizens. She is patient with people asking her to improve their eyeglass problems which in turn helps their vision difficulties. She is very skilled. Thank you

Hello, I am a Costco member from Wisconsin who thoroughly enjoyed your Bratwurst at the food court. My husband and I would have lunch there when we were finished shopping but the Bratwurst has been discontinued. We can no longer eat there since that was the only menu item I liked. Would you please consider re-instating the Bratwurst in Wisconsin since we love bratwurst here. Many of my friends miss it as well!

I like Costco but I've noticed their fruit is not fresh their grapes are soft the mandarins are fermented I am really disappointed with the fruit and I am a fruit eater .I loved a cheese they had it's called Dutch bike and they got rid of it I told the manager it's the best thing they had , I think I'll shop more at Sam's Club specially for fruit and water , Costco have one brand of bottled water ( Kirkland)

I want to praise Costco employee Joe in Major Sales at the Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466 store. (Badge # 2021). Twice recently, Joe has helped us purchase (order) appliances from Costco by providing the highest level of customer service. In each case, Joe gave us information and assistance to choose the right appliance for our needs and to negotiate the order process. His knowledge and good cheer made the whole experience easy and satisfying. Many thanks! Carol and Wayne Heckrotte

How do we get a Costco in North Port/Venice Florida on art 41. Our area is booming, homes are going up by the hundreds. I love Costco much better than Sams Club. We have ideal locations for a Costco building to be erected. Why are we not in your plans to make more millions. I can't figure out your hesitation.

Costco uses Citibank cards and they just went to war with Trump supporters . I object strenuously and hope Costco doesn't follow suit. Walmart and Amazon have already done so and I would hate to have to boycott Costco too.

I absolutely love and appreciate COSTCO so very, very much. Thank you for creating such a wonderful, wonderful store and environment.

I wanted to say something about your pineapples. They formerly were superb. Lately there have only been organic pineapples
available, and they have been very disappointing. No or little taste and very small compared to your former pineapples.

I had an incredibly positive experience recently at store number 462 in Carlsbad, CA. Through no fault of Costco, I attempted to return an item that is not "returnable". I did not know that was the case. Christina Josephine and Katelyn Williams quickly took charge, explained the policy, offered to allow my return this one time and did this all with warmth, humor and efficiency. Please extend my thanks to them for their excellent customer service. i have been singing Costco's and their praises since.

While driving down a neighborhood street, I accidentally rolled over a political campaign sign lying in the road. It became hung up under my car. A passerby stopped to help me and we yanked the sign out, not knowing what kind of damage was created. He suggested I stop at a nearby Costco on Peachtree and put the car up on a lift to examine the underside.

Ed and Darayl were gracious and kind as they assisted me. We happily discovered that there was no major damage underneath my car. These two gentlemen are a welcome asset to the Costco service department!

Dear Costco,

I am a frequent shopper at Costco mainly at Costco on East Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA.

Have you heard of "Natren Healthy Trinity"? It's Probiotic that needs to be refrigerated while selling. Lot of people take them and people will be very happy to get them from Costco (lower price and convenience).

Hope Costco would carry them.

Could you please consider to carry them for consumers' convenience?

Should you have inquiries please contact me via

Thank you very much in advance.

Sincerely,

Jeannie Chang

This is to bring to the attention of the high quality service I received in the Pentagon Store in Arlington, Virginia. A sales person by the first name of Julia who made me feel as if she was interested ingetting what I needed for new glasses Today you hardly get service and when sales people step out of their way to do the best for you, it has a lot of meaning. I tip my hat to Julia and only wish other employees would take the same interest in the customers, just because you are a box store doesn't mean you shouldn't have the high quality of service Julia gave me,all the time. I would like to recognize Tom, the manager of the Hawthorne California Liquor Department. He has been a valuable resource for me in my wine and spirits purchases for years. He is knowledgeable, professional and always willing to make exceptional suggestions. He's never led me down the path of regret in my purchases.
My friends in other areas are jealous because he is able to acquire spirits that they wish their local Costco would get. (I take pleasure in texting them pictures of my purchases in the store.)
Please let Tom know that your customers appreciate his outstanding work.

Not sure if this is the correct site to say this, I have no problem with customer service at Costco, they are great. But I do have a problem with new citi card coverage on car rentals,. American Express would take 100% responsibility for accident/damage/theft on rental car, when you paid a $30 fee and it would be a primary coverage on rental car, Citi however will be a secondary coverage, meaning your insurance pays first. What is the point to charge with Citi card? Citi should have the same coverage! Not happy with Citi car rental coverage

Had a prescription filled at Costco, cost was $35.93 for a 90 day supply, Walgreen charged $89.99 for a 30 day supply. Also Costco pharmacists are out in the open not like Walgreen pharmacists who hide behind a wall.

Dear Sir or madame I am writing you because I have issue with the Costco that I work in. I have been a member of Costco for almost 30 yrs when it was called at that time Price Club. I have been working for the company CDS and it is a job that I truly enjoy. But when I started working the CDS office was at the back of the store. It was okay we had space for our carts and supplies. Than they moved us to the front and I don't think anyone really thought about what they were doing. So I am here to tell you that that was a BIG mistake. You see we are right in front of the rest rooms so when we have to get our carts ready with the supplies we are in the members way. Not only that Costco puts all the empty boxes on one of the orange carts I guess that what you would call it and leaves it park there. Than the employees of Costco not only have their lockers in the same hall way but their break room is also there. Than the little private room for women to breast feed their babies is also there. Their isn't a day that someone either with a scooter or a shopping cart bumps into our carts. The store that I work at is in Austin Texas off the 183 by breaker. They tell us in our meetings that Costco wants us out there and have our samples out as soon as possible but it is hard when we have to get our ovens, microwaves, skillets or dasie pots ready. And our cooking and serving items ready. No matter how hard we try to be ready some of us have to stop get out of the way let the members pass to go to the restroom. I don't think it is safe and it is a accident waiting to happen. While I am at it why do you give the CDS people a real small office when we have tables, chairs, Large carts, pans, skillets, coffee makers, ovens, microwaves, our supplies like forks, cups spoons and our products that we have to demo for that day. It is again unsafe and very crowed. I have to say that who ever came out with the idea to hand out samples was a genius. So many people have told us that one of the reason that they join Costco was because of the samples that we hand out. They can try the product first before they by it. So if you can find a simple way to help us we would really appreciated. Sorry for making this letter long but before closing I want you to know that the main manager of the Costco that I work in his first name is John and right now I can say that he is a very sweet and nice person.

Used to work at Costco Canada.

Was assaulted by a Schizophrenic Colleague but he worked there 14 years so they choose to turn a blind eye. I filed a complaint with HR in Fall of 2012.

Was talking about a book that had sex in it in the break room on my own time. A 21 Year Old Female Employee filed a Sexual Complaint.

Was brought into the Closed Door Office with the Manager and someone taking notes. They REFUSED to allow me to record the meeting.

They accused me Sexual Harassment and asked me to self implicate. I did not. They were so inept they couldn't find the Non Disclosure Form which I wouldn't have signed anyway. I am told, 3 day immediate suspension, stay off property, we will call you.

Next day I go to Psychiatrist get an Immediate Stress Leave Prescription. Ask Manager if I can bring it in. He says, "You have to bring it in but you are not allowed on property". I ask, "May a third party bring it in?" He is silent.

I go back to the Psychiatrist to ask for her advice and I RECEIVE AN EMAIL SAYING DO NOT COME IN YOU ARE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY.

This Costco is one of the ones in Ontario, Canada.

Please Boycott Costco. They discriminated against me because of my sexuality, the discriminated against me as I got an ulcer and had to spend a few weeks away, they discriminated against me medically. They discriminated against me under mental health issues.

Please, I beg of you, BOYCOTT COSTCO and if you are in Costco in Ontario and the Manager's Initials are K.F. Know he has deeply hurt me, my loved ones, my family, and my friends.

Sincerely,

a formerly proud Costco Worker who is having his life harmed by them today, Wednesday, March 13th, 2013.

I had the opportunity to work for several Costco's over time. In general they were all managed the same poor way. Ended my career in SC which I consider the poorest managed, employed Costco I worked for.
The transfer process to the Costco in SC was more painful than going to the DMV. My previous transfers were as simple as, “when can you get here?” Unreceptive upon arrival from all levels of management and fellow employees in SC. Very strange “stuff” going on at SC, Costco.
At the end of the day it was eleven of the longest years in my life working for Costco. After my children were old enough to set out on their own I wasted no time leaving. I had a good salary but that's as far as good went.

I would like to respond to the concerned family member of an applicant ...who wrote a comment on 4/30/12 about jobs being taken from the community.

I happen to know the staff from this Costco and I can assure you that you are 100% wrong about Frank hiring his brothers or promoting them.

Both of Frank's brothers came to Pharr, Tx to assist in the opening process. Both brothers were already Costco employees and came from different buildings to assist. Both brothers have actually transferred to North and South Austin locations to pursue their careers. To my knowledge they both returned to a lateral position. They are both hardworking and dedicated employees who helped in the development of Pharr Costco new hires. Good luck to them in their careers.

I will not disclose my identity but I can assure you I'm not a fan of Frank but that's not what this is about. I know this site is intended for all types of feedback but know your facts before you slander a company that is one of the World's largest retailer and has one of the most reputable employment benefit package for their employees ...not to mention their stock.
As far as your relative goes ..,. And as far as I'm concerned... There was slim pickings in that corrupt city full of pretentious uneducated people, starting with your politicians and other city employees who all had someone that needed to be hired because they said so..... If your relative didn't get hired it was probably because they were unable to answer a few questions that are basic... Yes, basic or .... Perhaps they overall sucked...
I have been a dedicated Costco member for 28 yrs and have had the opportunity to interact and personally get to know many staff members who I actually consider family.. I highly recommend Costco to anyone looking for a career especially in the Texas region where there's plenty of room for growth.
P.S...
Except Pharr Costco where all the winter texans feel that they need special treatment and as mentioned above you will deal with corrupt officials and the bad attitude of most locals.
I lived in that Hell hole for 6 months and ran into people like you left and right.

Not most of the employees are treated fairly. Most of us here are just expressing what we have experienced at Costco. There maybe some subjective opinions. Generally, the management level seems to not knowing about how to lead the staff and to improve the communication among customers, staff and supervisors. Sometimes, the employees have to use "common sense" to help the customers.

COSTCO Should NOT be on the "best company to work for." I work for 80 days, they expect more from you , and you cant comment or question about upper management judgement. It's what the manager think is always right, don't even bother commenting on their decisions.

Costco should listen to their lower employee concern about their upper management anonymously... FAVORITISM work place is here..

I worked at the Tigard, Oregon Costco for about a year and a half. I worked hard, and so did all of the other employees. We always did everything that we could to make the customer happy.

I personally had a blast, and all the other employees were friendly. I literally cried when I had to move because I knew that I had to leave my friends at work. The managers and supervisors cared for me like family. When I was sad, they comforted me. When I had to leave, one manager bought me a cake with his own money. If you are hesitating about applying, let me encourage you to give Costco a chance. It's a wonderful place to work. I miss it....How many people can say that about a job? :)

Those of you who are so busy complaining about Costco should try being on the other side! I have a daughter and son-in-law who work there, and both my sons used to work there. What you choose to say verbally and in print is mean and cruel. Why don't you take the time to say something nice?

I've never seen a company so willing to work with its members. Give them another try; be reasonable and tell them what you need -- don't immediate start yelling and complaining about everything!

I have worked for Costco for several yrs now in NJ and I wish that Corporate could see how their managers and supervisors treat their employees...it is sickening...Everyday, I here others saying they get sick to their stomach before going to work each day. I am also feeling this. I get sick on my days off thinking what craziness I will experience when I go back the next day...I am a good worker and play by the rules but, the ones who do nothing get promoted and the hard workers get the worst hrs which they change frequently and the worst jobs. I am so tired of the favoritism. We are all adults here. Why can't we all just get along? Always drama here. Managers creating clicks and they party together and then in turn he will get them to turn on the rest who do not attend their crazy outtings. Managers try to intimidate us and and make us fear for our jobs...as for the open door policy. It doesn't mean a thing. It just means that we pissed off the manager more and we are really going to pay...I would really like to see Undercover Boss come in and see how we are treated by managers who have not been trained to be professional with employees and customers. We shouldn't have to fear our managers and if we go above them with a complaint they shouldn't take revenge on us. This is immature & unprofessional. There is depression issues amongst alot of the employees. It sickening...I hope someone heeds the warning and helps us...We really need someone to step in and make changes here...We don't know where to turn for help. No one can be trusted to talk to as far as management goes...They just laugh at us behind our backs with their immature remarks which are humiliating, belittling and sometimes insulting. Sometimes, I just feel like crying due to the frustration and feeling of helplessness.
I don't know if the right people will read this but, I am praying for help...I am scared of revenge. So please, leave my name anonymous and do not forward this to my Manager using my name...Honestly, we don't know who we can trust anymore. I have nothing against Costco. I am happy to be employeed with the company. I just believe they need to take a closer look into management and possibly make changes needed to make our work place a more pleasureable & less stressful environment.

Signed,
Desperately Seeking Help

I guess I am not really sure what all of the negativity is about. I have worked a lot harder for a lot less money at jobs where I am respected as a person half as much. You get paid what you're worth and are treated fairly. What more is there to say? I love my job and wouldn't trade it for the world. Go Costco! :D

Im so tired of hearing people complaining over the stupidest things for instance. You buy the stuff over 5years and try to bring it back for a full refund because you just now figure out that your not satisfied with it. PLEASE GET A LIFE~!!! Oh and those who hate hearing about our amex and upg of the memb srsly if SOME of you would take the time to see how much you shop u prob wouldnt have to be paying an annual fee for membership an wth in that case if u dont make up the amount u pay to upg its refundable. REALLY?? What more do you guys want? Think of it this way us workers are probably miserable because we have to deal with miserable ppl like this on a daily basis. Ive never had a problem at Costco, but at the same time I understand what these workers go through due to I am an employee for them. Yes we get paid well enough but not enough to be treated like crap an when ppl cross a fine line. Reminder. Kindness will always kill ignorance.

I WISH YOU WOULD GIVE US BREAKS ON TIME AND NOT TELL US WE HAVE 30 PEOPLE WHO WANTS YOUR JOB. I AM READING YOUR FACEBOOK, REALLY? MANAGEMENT SUX AND THIS REFLECTS IN MY FELLOW EMPLOYEES. NEPOTISM IS HIGH. I CAN SAY HONESTLY I HATE SOME PEOPLE AND WELL NOW THAT WE TAKE SNAP IT JUST GOT WORSE. CRAPPY MANAGEMENT GETS CRAPPY EMPLOYEES AND WELL HELL SINCE I GET CRAPPY HOURS I LIVE IN THIS CRAPPY NEIGHBORHOOD. THE INLAND EMPIRE. A CO-WORKER SAVED A CHILD'S LIFE IN HER LINE AND WAS COMPLETELY OVER LOOKED BY OUR MANAGEMENT. OTHER COSTCO'S MANAGERS SEND IN COMMENTS SO OUR MEMBERS CAN SEE THE GOOD SIDE ALSO. TOP CASHIERS AND ASSISTANTS MEAN NOTHING AND GET NOTHING. BUT ONE MEMBER B*TCHES EVEN IF THEY ARE IN THE WRONG, AND WRITE UP! WOW. NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MANAGERS, CASHIERS AND NOW WE HAVE TO HAVE COUPONS! WELL THANKS FOR MAKING MY JOB EASIER! ALL OUR SURROUNDING COSTCO STORES DO IT DIFFERENTLY IS ALL I HEAR ALL DAY LONG! I JUST SAY I HATE STUPIT PEOPLE

I have been a Costco employee for over 30 years. I love all my members and love helping them. But I recently got a write for helping a member and it too long according to the manager. They said I that I am too slow and it is not good for business. They also said that I take to long to drink water while I am taking medication. Costco does not give us our break on time and never want because the member is first. So members if wondering why we're miserable its because of management does not care for service and just push you out and wear out the employees and make us so stress out and tired. So if your going to complaint about a employee, stop, find out the condition of the employee and why he is tired and worn out before you take it out on them. Costo has been trouble before for not giving breaks on time which is against the law. Attitude reflects leadership and Costco is lacking very much. We are trying to do our best because each employee service 3000 members a day. Give a break, please. See and open your eyes and find out why we look miserable before you write to corporate. Corporate does not care, period.
