I'm disappointed in the Lampasas, TX Curves! I quit going in February 2018, because the owner, Sonya Morris is no longer involved with members! She now has 3 businesses running from same building & has no time to assist curves members!!! Sonya will not play the great videos for members!!! She insists that she must be present in order to play the videos, but she spends majority of her time running her other businesses, which are all in the same building!!! I gave her my Silver Sneakers card & told me the computer was not working! Her computer is constantly down! She never enrolled me with my Silver Sneaker card!!!!!!!

I arrived today at my Curves Beaumaris, Edmonton to find a letter saying they were closing Jan.29/18. I went through this 3 years ago with Manning Curves, Edmonton. The reactions of the elderly regulars was so sad. They have been going for years. The closest curves for us now is too far to drive. It is so annoying when you find something that works for you and have made the commitment. It is sad that the leasing seems to be a big problem so can't the head office help out the individuals running the clubs. When I see the advertising now on Facebook I cringe because there is no guarantee that club will stay open. THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM. People even just signed up and now get this message. What is the problem????? I wanted to do it for the rest of my life for exercise. I am just heartbroken today.

Hello,

My name is Tootie Christopher. I have been a Curves member for several years. In fact I've been a member at 2 other locations in Az. That ended up closing much to my disappointment .Always pleased with Curves. However through no fault of my own( health issues),

Have complicated my returning to curves to work out. When I contacted my Curves they told me in order to cease my membership, so I won't continue to be charged a monthly fee I Have to come in to do so. First of all I am handicapped and it is difficult for me to get out and about. Second of all I don't need them ( curves staff to tell me what I can & cannot do( as they ask me why I no longer can come to work out, so I explained to them why ,that's when she

( manager) told me I Have to come in to take care of my membership dilemma.

I have had multiple strokes in the past 10+ years and my left side is weaker than my right. I wear a nerve stimulator for my left lower left leg /foot. Problem is I'm allergic to the pads that the stimulator requires in order for it to work. This causes my leg to itch and ends up breaking the skin and resulting in bleeding etc.

I also have recently been diagnosed with a bulging disk in my spine. To which she told me " oh all the more reason for you to get in here for workouts"

Now as a nurse I don't need anyone telling me how to manage my health issues.

All that being said I am writing to you for a resolution to my dilemma with Curves. I also have just moved 25-30 miles from this Curves location. So very inconvenient for me to go to this location to

do as I want/ need to do to

Cancel my membership so I can stop being charged for it monthly,

Can you help me? The location in question is located at 51st Ave and Bell road in Glendale Az.

Let me make it clear. I have always liked and got along with all the Curves staff I've come to know in the past several years at all locations I have been involved with. But this experience has been a problem which I can't seem to get resolved with the manager at this location. I'll be waiting for your response to my problem.

Thank you, Tootie (aka: Renetta) Christopher

There are horrific business practices going on in a Curves franchise. My understanding is Curves corporate does not care enough to even want to know what's going on so the horrors continue. Too bad Curves. A Corporation is only as good as their weakest link and I have no doubt this shop is exactly that. The weakest link. Because of fear of retaliation I won't per my attorney's recommendation, reveal any personal information. My understanding is any concerns are sent directly to the franchise owner so the lies, cheating, discrimination and manipulation continues. For what it's worth...think hard before ever considering signing a contract with Curves.

Curves in katy was closed today after the morning break does this happen alot and if it does who do I need to contact? Owner should be liable

I will never use a Curves again! The corporation does not support the customer's issues or experience. If you call them to inquire about anything they just refer you back to the owner.

In my case, the Curves owner and personnel did not honor their service agreement to make sure you were properly using the equipment correctly. The owner is more concerned about limiting her engagement with clients that helping them to have success. When I asked for help, I was sited the rules about how many times I am allowed to ask for personal instruction.

I will never go to another Curves again!

The Curves facility in Bellows Falls, Vermont, enlists a non-certified instructor to teach Zumba class on Tuesday & Thursday at 5:00 PM. The owner's Zumba license is expired and she teaches Zumba on Saturdays at 8:00 AM. The Zumba headquarters has been notified of these infractions. The owner and manager of the Bellows Falls Curves just sent a message to members that there will now be hours of operation when the doors will be open but there will be no staff coverage.

I have been a member of curves for awhile, recently the one I went to closed and now I belong to the one in Collier Twp, pa, when its cold outside its not much better inside curves the temp is set at 60 & when the temp outside is in the single digits that means its really cold in there, I realize the room is part of an old warehouse but if heat is a problem why not some space heaters, when its like that I just don't go because of the cold inside to work out & I know a lot of people who feel the same way, I always go 3 times a week but not any more with the conditions inside that bldg.

the Curves facility I was attending in Lake Hopatcong, NJ just closed without notice. I had four months left on my membership. I would like someone to contact me to resolve this issue and answer what happened? Why did this all of a sudden close without warning to its members? Please respond. Thank you.
