I have only had my Ram 1500 ecodiseal for a year and a half. I took it the Dodge dealership in Tuscaloosa, AL on August 29, 2023 to see what was wrong with it and was told that my high pressure fuel pump had gone out. The high pressure fuel pump is one of the parts that is on recall for this particular vehicle. I was informed that part was not available, however, they were able to find the parts needed to fix my vehicle. After having my vehicle for 4 going on 5 months they tells me that my vehicle now needs a brand new engine and will cost $25000. Keep in mind when I took my vehicle to the dealership there was nothing wrong with my engine. When I took my vehicle them in August they were very cooperative and returning my calls, since then they have yet to return my calls nor answer my calls. I have called the the corporate office four times and have not gotten any response. I am now considering contacting an attorney to represent me and find out why Dodge is having such bad service.

I fill like I am getting the run around from them . My truck has been in the shop 5 months out of 2023 . They replaced the lifters and not the cam . There is metal in the oil and they say that normal. That is unacceptable. Bad service.

Londonderry Dodge Chrysler Jeep Edmonton AB Canada

Before the first snow fall of year I booked, my appointment 4 days in advance.
(Lie#1 computer down can't do report, since you never pulled my truck in shop till next day, cause to busy changing winter tires make up convenient lie to postpone. I could have forgiven that one.)
(Lie#2 it has a pulse in brakes want to turn rotors, odd since no one turns rotors, cause car companies try to cut weight and make them so thin now. I've not seen rotor lathe in a shop in years, funny it pulled a trailer across Canada think I'd notice a pulse while driving for 3 days strait)
When questioned on what was the work to be done and what rotor has pulse and thickness?
(Lie#3 changed the story of brakes have pitted rotors right in front of me, how did they go from pulse to pitted in your story, especially since it just travelled 3600km to get here.)
You could have just measured the brakes pass or fail. But you know they pass in measurement cause you had to do that during inspection. And failed to put the thickness in report.

I bought a demonstrator dodge journey a few years ago. It was one year old and had 11,000 Km. Three years later I was told I needed four new tires and I had less than 30,000 Km. Obviously someone at the dealership took the newer tires off. I've told everyone I know about this and this dealership lost two customers. Dodge will never get another dollar from me. I'm a pretty savvy buyer but they got me anyway. This was in Welland.

Regarding the Renton Dodge Dealer ship in Washington and Dodger Customer Care and their warranty policies.

Shady, incompetent, or flat-out predatorial service. We were out of state travelers who suffered a blown transmission on a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan GT with 45k miles. Upon inspection, the tech discovered that the transmission was "overfilled" and that it voided the power train warranty due to negligence. I'm not a mechanic and wouldn't know sub-par vehicle diagnostic if it was in front of me, so the work was approved. After days of personal research, investigation, and speaking with another mechanic, we discovered that a failed transmission pump and/or torque converter would produce a false overfill reading. Learning this, we made several attempts to contact this dealership for clarification prior to repairs being made. They are NOT easy to get ahold of. The dealership told us that it is possible that a failed pump and / or converter would produce an overfill reading, but the tech said it was overfilled. At this time, we had no way to get a 2nd opinion because the transmission was already switched out.
This transmission doesn't even get looked at (unless there's an issue) until 70k miles. There are no service records indicating a transmission top-off or service. The detailed invoice did not mention even looking at the pump or converter (it's a dealership, it would have been on there). There are only 2 possibilities; 1) the transmission was overfilled during initial install (unlikely) or 2) the transmission pump and/or the torque converter failed (my bet). Either way, the power train warranty should have been honored, but their willingness to settle on "A problem" and unwillingness to find "THE problem" to avoid warranty work cost this family nearly $11k, and I can't figure out why. Like sharks in the water, they smelled the blood and out of state disparity and attacked or they legitimately have no idea what they're doing! We reached out to Dodge Customer Care (FCA LLC) to try to get a reimbursement for this financial hardship and were denied. We sent all the backup pass/fail reports from the dealership we purchased the van from and then had the transmission fail a month after purchase. Awful company and we will deter all of our friends and family to steer clear of all DODGE/Crysler/Jeep etc.!

I have an oil consumption recall issue. The first dealership I took my van to not only did the consumption test wrong, but they cancelled the recall which they are not supposed to be able to do. After many calls to the corporate office I finally got the recall reopened and went to a different dealership. They confirmed the issue and I was told a new engine was on order. After waiting over a month to hear when it would be in I was told they had no paperwork on it. This is ridiculous. My life is in danger because the oil pressure will suddenly drop with no warning and the vehicle stall out. Do I have to die in this car before someone at dodge gets their act together and honors the recall?

Thanks Dodge motor company, for advertising and increasing the most dangerous, criminal, vehicle operators who are emotionally neutered in every way, and ramping up your assembly lines to cater to the most childish needs of dangerous driving, attention seeking idiots, who assault communities throughout the country with unnecessary abuse noise and for all the children who've been executed by the absurdity of your marketing to provide an disingenuous identity to young folks who would have been otherwise able to just go out for a pleasant drive, except you guys changed the paradigms of that by imposing your bottom line to reap financial aspirations for your own narrow mission to make our youth more dangerous than ever, as they murder each other and others, just wanting to walk or drive lawfully around communities.
All this blood is in part used to paint your vehicles.
May your penance be great, and may the mud of your ultimate grave be watered with great abundance from the tears of families ripped apart because their children bought into your reckless marketing.
You deserve every single misery that is waiting for you, and the rest of us, left mopping up your fast and furious meta dangerous identity marketing, will be rejoicing when enough of your narsassist messaging haunts your corporate pariah's to squirm in the peutrifaction of your ideas.
You've turned mean and vicious, and the ranks of dangerous indifferent and individuals that pour money into your coffers are your testimony to the goddamm society hating, murderous foot soldiers of a mass murdering maniacal Corp viper named DODGE MOTOR COMPANY. may you rot along with the vehicles of death your company mass manufacturs.

Bought new 2022 Ram 2500 October 31,2022. At 6200 miles wipers and drivetrain popping. 16000 miles egr. 24000 miles spent 37 days in shop for transmission. They ended up reusing some of the old parts. April egr. May egr. June 2 weeks in shop egr. July 17 to present (29) days so far. Dealer gave up turned over to Dodge. They don't know either says just trying a part at a time. Today is 92 calendar days truck out of service. This truck is my only income pulling hotshot.Dealer nor Dodge has done anything to help out except loaner vehicle I can't use to do hotshot.

My husband's Dodge RAM Ecodiesel broke down last July. We paid for a rental car until the dealership determined the breakdown was due to a recall. They provided a rental car moving forward and told us we were eligible for reimbursement for the $723 we paid for a rental car. Dodge Customer Care said we had to wait for the repairs to be done before we could file. It took ten months to get the truck back. When we were finally able to file for reimbursement, they refused to pay the entire amount. We got $360 and they won't respond to us, saying our case is closed.

In September of 2022 I bought a 2021 Hellcat Durango. On the way home from purchasing the vehicle the check engine light came on. So I had to take it to my local dealership (we bought the vehicle across the state.) The dealership had my SUV for 7 days. During this time an airtag was put in my gate (the vehicle was taken apart to put the airtag in.) Less than a month later I get stranded due to the power steering going out. That was another week. I was stranded while prepping for a hurricane.
Two weeks ago my Durango is losing coolant & overheating on the interstate. I had it towed to Dodge. Two weeks later the part has not arrived. I would expect more from Dodge, let alone the fact that I paid nearly 100k for a vehicle.

Took my Ram 1500 ecodiesel to get an exhaust sensor replaced. Cost $1,500. They broke the old sensor off in the exhaust and said it would would have to pay $5,700 to fix it.

I've been a Dodge person ever since the very first Challenger was released in 1970, the year I turned 16! I currently own a 2014 Challenger that looks and drives as if it just came off the assembly line, with 98,000 total miles on it. Beginning 2024, as much as I hate to say it, I'll be switching to the Ford Mustang as it will still have a V8 GAS engine! I don't care if the new electric Challengers and Chargers hit 60 MPH in 1.5 seconds because it's not about speed. It's the sound of a roaring gas engine that turns me on, not fake sound and gear shifting like you'll see with the new Dodge muscle cars, or should I say asthenia cars!

Very bad experience.

I purchased a new Dodge Laramie Pickup,3500 Dually back in 2016.
Purchased from Bob Moore Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Oklahoma. I live in California.
Cheaper to purchase this truck in Oklahoma.
The dealership at the time of purchase was polite.
The truck has a good engine, but a junk, defective 68RFE Automatic transmission.
Fact !
Dodge aware of this.
6 months ago, my truck wont shift out of first. I'm a Mechanic also a Fire Fighter EMT. I droped the pan on the transmission. Could not believe what I scene. From the factory, shifting acumulator bolt holes stripped out, from the factory, stripped out holes through bolts put in with nuts, cheap bolts you get off discount rack at local hardware stores.
The transmission from being poorly assembled, just imploded.
Dodge aware of this I found out in 2017 put out a nation wide service alert recall to replace the Transmission.
But calling Dodge in Michigan I get a person with an attitude who won't help.
Dodge in Oklahoma were I purchased the truck, owner aware of recall but wont replace the transmission.
Dodge at Roseville Auto Mall said $10,000 to rebuild. They said they are also aware of the 68RFE Automatic Transmission recall.
Dodge should replace it.

I find out also Dodge in a court battle, the same 68RFE Automatic Transmission causes engine fires.
Dodge trying to get out of helping customers.
Also Dodge has same Transmission in 2020 and 2022 models.
I do EMT work help others, having to ride my motorcycle in the snow because of this.
Droped my bike many times, dangerous all because of Dodge.

Sentenal parent Company of Dodge has been notified.

Dodge take care of my truck as your should, replace my transmission.

Ok who ever came up with, the auto park, the dash lights not being able to be turned off when in park, the ding from the seat belt... are incredibly stupid people!! Please fire them. If I'm parked and looking at stars at night how in the f*** can I see the stars if my stupid a** - lights don't turn off? If I'm driving through the desert or Working on a ranch and I need to open my f****** door so I can see what's under the truck as I drive-through stuff but the truck goes into park I really wish I could meet that person because I would probably hurt him he has no idea how to drive a truck and is not intelligent and is a waste of humanity. I am absolutely floored that you guys would put these features in your vehicle. It's almost like you're as stupid But as Subaru who adds all of these features just pushing humanities retardedness. Not all of us are incredibly stupid like the main chunk of humanity and we can actually handle our vehicle and would like to have control over it. Please stop f****** your trucks up

Dodge dealership did a repair on my truck and broke my window. They replaced the window with a non dodge window, even though they told me it was. They told me they would match my tint and instead they pulled it off and re tinted it a lighter color. Also part they fixed still sounds loose and is not fixed properly. Very bad service!!

My complaint is regarding Iverson Chrysler in Mitchell, SD. Today my adult son took my 2022 Ram 1500 pickup there for service. As he waited for the service to be done, an overweight man in the service department, named Steve, made a comment about why we would have the vehicle tires rotated at 4,000 miles and asked if we were dumb. Another employee named Tim witnessed this, as he saw that my son heard this. Tim did nothing to correct this situation. What poor customer service! I have purchased several Chrysler/Dodge products in the past. However, I will no longer. I can service my vehicle whenever I want to. I don't need one of your representatives insulting me for giving one of your dealerships business!

Special ordered a 2022 ram 3500 cab chassie from my local dealer, spec truck out as heavy duty as possible, strip truck down to bare bone's as well for work truck( manual window's, manual lock's, manual gear shifter & 4wd shifter in floor, least amount of electronics possible). Truck has 6.7 cummins, aisin69 trans, 4.10gear. Had hotshot bed installed with 30,000lb gooseneck ball to pull my 40ft hotshot trailer. Got truck lettered ( company name, dot&mc#'s, ifta stickers). Left home DAY1, at 583m on odometer transmission went out, truck was towed by ram "doesnt" care, down a month. Picked up truck on a friday night, left home the next monday, at 1331m on odometer transmission #2 went out, been down 7wks now, still no truck. Ram "doesnt" care team is impossible to reach, impossible to get updates from without dozens of call's(leaving voicemails), i get more info out of dealer where truck is at 5hrs from home. I have been dodge my entire life, however, this has broke me 110% from ever purchasing ram/fca products again. Ive had to get a lemon law lawyer involved for justice. I ask/beg anyone reading this- dont buy ram!

I am very unhappy with Dodge as my 2011 Dodge challenger 392 SRT8 Green w/envy 6 spd manual, track pack, sunroof, and black wheel pkg just over 400 manufactured and I bought it new off showroom floor in 11/2011 from Wilson Motors of Corvallis Oregon as Dodge is well aware of this problem ad they have a TSB technical service bulletin in regards to the "smart window" motor shorting out mostly resulting in a dead battery but also May and has caused fire when vehicle is parked. Which caused Farmers Insurance to call in a special investigator( whom also worked the 911 terrorist attack) to determin cause of fire. And Dodge has yet to make this right as my Car was total loss by insurance standards. You'd think me being a dedicated loyal Dodge /Mopar guy owning the challenger,2012 Dodge Ram 3500 mega can Laramie, 1985 Dodge D 150 truck and a Dodge motorhome that maybe they would make it right and reimburse me for my loss and put out a recall to keep this from happening again

My name is Michele. I'm a mother of 2 and I own a 2022 3500 Ram Bighorn long bed Sport. On Saturday, December 31, 2022 my family and I was hiking in Highlands N.C. It was a rainy day in the mountains and it was 47 degrees outside. My truck over heated and my husband called to see what customer care could do for us. They said they would send a tow truck to get my truck. We asked how many people could fit in the truck? They said 2 with driver. We explained that there was 5 of us and that we had 3 minors with us. The customer care proceeded to explain to us that it wasn't her problem. She would not let us speak to someone over her and then told us to have a good night and hung up on us. Now I don't know if everyone understands but Highlands is not a very big town. You can't call uber!!! They have a local driver and we could not get the man to answer the phone. Also we broke down at 3 in the afternoon. It gets dark at 5:30 in the mountains. We could not get anyone to pick us up except the tow truck driver. We all got in!! ALL 6 of us in a 3 seat truck. The tow truck man was very nice and very understanding about are children. I have owned this truck a month and 2 days. I spent an exorbitant amount of money. But for Dodge Ram customer care service to not take inconsiderate of minors at night in cold weather and we a new truck I thought it spoke volume. I hope for the next family that breaks down in the mountains on a cold night doesn't get stuck. Maybe customer care will learn the definition of what there job is.

Sincerely
5 time Dodge owner and last time

I have a 2018 dodge charger rt. And the radio Delamination or is ghost touching. So i called the corp office to let know about the problem I am having with the radio. And they are saying since , I am the third owner they cant fix the car even through its 4 years old. The first owner was a car rental place, the second was the dealership i purchased the vehicle from, then my self as the third. This isn't right because this radio thing is a big issue with just about every dodge after 2016. They are not going to fix my car and cost me over 1500 usd to get fix and money i dont have.

I made an online appointment then got a verification call and they had a 11:45 and 12:15 so took the 11:45 to get a service electronic brake light diagnostic and arrived to be told it was going to be at least 3 days? I had taken the day of work off as I use my truck for work and all I wanted at the very least a diagnostic. I am definitely back to not liking the Dealership experience again as I had back in the late 90's early 2000's at a Dealer in Dayton. Definitely going to be a deciding factor if I ever buy another new or used vehicle for sure at a Ram Dealership because I can't afford to have my only vehicle down for a week on something minor I would hate to see how long for something more serious. Very big let down by Ram Dealers. What was the use of having an appointment.. Columbus Ohio

I recently went to the Lewis Chrysler Service to get an oil change. I was greeted by the service writer Kristi and she scheduled my truck inand it didn't take very long at all. I received a text to where I could follow along to see how my service progressed. Really like that. I would encourage any and all my friends to use this service dept. I even had an issue previously with another dealership that couldn't resolve my trucks issue. The mechanic at the Lewis service diagnosed and fixed the problem within an hour. I am sold on service from the Lewis service dept. This is Lewis dealership in Fayetteville,Arkansas.

I purchased a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan mid-January of 2014. I am writing this letter to express my sincerest thank you for building such an excellent vehicle. I got in an accident last week where I was hit in the front by an SUV and the rear by a tractor trailer on a major highway. My van is totaled but I after a short ER visit, I walked away with minor injuries. I cannot thank your company enough for building a vehicle that I give the highest safety rating to. While every air bag deployed, windshield and other windows smashed, front end taken half off and the whole rear crushed close to the third row, all of my seats remained intact and unharmed. I am relieved that my 3 small children were not in the van with me but I know if they had been, they would have been completely unharmed. This accident tops one of the scariest moments in my life. Many people, as well as myself, have stated how lucky I am and how well the van protected me. If possible, I will be getting another one. Thank you again for having such an excellent vehicle available.

Not quite sure how to address this matter I have had now two warranty work on my 2012 Jeep Liberty now when I phoned today they said it might be ready tomorrow it has been in Gustafson's Dodge Dealer for over two weeks as they have had to order part twice. I did not ask for courtesy car as my husband has a vehicle but now feel like this is getting ridiculous and I am getting very frustrated.
When I brought my Jeep in for oil change regular staff member was off where I pay my bill this one day I had enough cash and gave her the money and she reached to side counter for change and then next I was phoned and said how did you pay for this I told them and since then it is like they do not believe me and also since then do not feel I am been treated right just my thoughts. Felt good at Kamloops Dodge when they did my oil change very friendly to everyone they served and felt like I was better treated there. Other people even non native one was manager from Denny's in Williams Lake said he has not had good service also at Gustafson's Doge they said if you do not buy vehicle from them they are like this, not the same in Kamloops they treated me well.

I don't know if this is the best place to say this? I have owned a 1964 Dodge Dart GT (50th yr anniversary) convertible since 1966; and, still starts right up. I LOVE this car and have never had a bit of trouble, except for the three times it was stolen. It needs a little work, new paint and a new top, but runs good. This was my 16th birthday present, will have owned the car for 48 years; and, 2014 it will be 50 yrs old (Chrysler will have a 100 yr anniversary). Restored it could be worth $30,000 but is worth much more to me. This would be a good ad to show how long they last, and, still be in good condition. It's a great car!

I recently bought a used 2005 gmc sierra z71 from Jenkins Chrysler Dealership in Lafayette, Ga 30728. I bought it as is no warranty. I know in the state of Georgia, that means exactly what it says. I test drove this truck, it performed without any problems. I went back on a saturday to buy it, took it home. That evening the check engine light came on. I called the dealership on monday, they said to bring it back. After about 8 days they called and said it was ready to be picked up. To make a long story short, Jenkins went the extra mile to make me a happy customer. They by all rights, did not have to pay for any needed repair. The total for the repair was approx. $450.00 and i paid out of pocket $100.00. I am happy with this, even if I had to have paid to pay the full amount. I feel they went above and beyond any policy concerning customer service. I will look to them when making my next purchase, depending on my wants and needs
