There is NO support for Dropbox. I dread using it because almost all the time, I run into a problem, and when I do it's impossible to solve because I can't get help. There is no phone number and the community help boards ate useless.

I just lost over 22 years of family memories (births, graduations, special events, EVERYTHING) for my 5 children....because Dropbox stole everything from me and disabled my account. To make matters worse I can't even TALK to anyone! We have been paying customers for over 10 years and this is how we are treated. All because their system flagged something and they won't investigate it to find the mistake. At least Facebook provides the courtesy of looking into their mistakes on things that are posted and apologizes for their mistakes....and I don't even pay them a dime to use their platform. This is crap....to steal a heritage from children and their families that willl now have nothing to pass on to their families or share with them. That doesn't even begin o touch in the other things we've lost. Medical records, legal documents, files for work, files for school. I have never hated anyone so much in my life as I do right now. I TRUSTED them! The least they can do is give me the time of day to speak to them and try to explain what has happened and all that I have lost.

I can't even give dropbox a 1 star. They are that awful, crooked, and steal your money. The worst organization I have ever dealt with. Very incompetent staff members!!!!

Never wanted this! Tried to cancel Dropbox 'free trial' but you make it impossible to do so. Tried to contact you several times but every attempt doesn't go through. And of course they charged me for this sham! No one obviously helps ad I see thousands of complaints that have gone on for a prolonged period of time

Just tried to access a link and couldn't. I received an infuriatingly unhelpful error message "something went wrong" and was directed to a moronic chatbot and nothing else. Worse than useless.

just discovered that my personal account was 'terminated' by Dropbox and without my agreement or knowledge, contents move to a Business dropbox, wherein all the files in that dropbox 'disappeared '---important files relating to ongoing business collaborations. WORST customer service engagement ever regarding correcting the problem - still not resolved.

I can confirm the stories of abysmal customer service. I am so frustrated. I just spent $1000 to upgrade to a business account and apparently put a character in the wrong place when setting up a password. I cannot get any help beyond the standard "read this article" and "follow this link" crap. Not to mention a full 24 hours wait for responses to emails. I cannot log into my account and they will not help me because I have to be an "Advanced or Enterprise" member to get any real customer service. Total garbage!

Dropbox has been a nightmare to work with. I can not get a name or talk to a person. There is no response when 8,000 files are suddenly deleted and they suggest I deleted them all?? They said if I wanted to talk to a person I had to pay for a higher level of service!!

Dropbox should be closed by the government! Horrible company and practices. Used my personal account for my personal business for over a decade and suddenly with no warning it is disabled. Support is totally non existent. The company is doing so bad financially that you can't even call the 1 number they post for sales and get a human. Worst company I've ever experienced and I've been in business for 32 years. You are better off without cloud storage than to use Dropbox.

I've trusted DropBox for over a decade, but that trust is all gone, gone. A few weeks ago I started to notice problems accessing older files. Only two days ago I realised that it was because DropBox has randomly disabled my account. I have two decades of IP which I thought was safely stored.

The 'support' service is laughable; all I am getting is a vague suggestion that I have been hosting unacceptable or pornographic material on the server. That is the sort of thuggery that we receive in those stupid random emails demanding payment for various rubbish claims.

Bad move. I have considerable influence over a national professional association which has a high dependency on document management. If I do not get some recourse to my files by the start of the next business week, it will be 'doors close' for DropBox to a very significant client base.

I have used up my options. I will file a formal complaint with the Attorney General's office with a cc to your San Francisco Corporate Offices regarding this totally unacceptable way of dealing with monetary issues. I got as far as a "professional expert" who wants $5 up front and $42 later... I cancelled my Drop Box Acct. months ago. Drop Box continues to bill my Master Card $10.87 per month. It will cease and descist in March 2018 when the card renews. I am saying now.. On site. Cancel the charges to my Credit Card.

While I have enjoyed dropbox. I have come to realize the scam you are. I have been wrongly charged on my credit card for $100.00 which just showed up on my account. I am not able to reach a live person to discuss this. I can't reach anyone in the US as you have outsourced to India and where ever else. The people who answer these calls are RUDE on the phone. I do not want your product anymore!!!

please please please,
look for another option, impossible to get a response from them when something doesnt work properly. I pay over $1000 a year for their service and all i get is an automated message to read the help links on the website.

I have been trying to cancel my account for months. Billing sends me a note that they cant get payment, yeah me I put a claim against dropbox on my credit card and have them blocked. No way to contact billing department and customer service can't find my account apparently they cant talk to billing account either.

I am having great difficulty getting new password. Had DB send new email to get new password. When I enter it 'sorry we are having difficulty '. There is no online way to reach Customer Support, because I cannot log in!! How am I supposed to get help??!!

This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. They were rude and inconsiderate and in no way helpful with my concern and questions.

I'm a long time premium user. Carousel could be perfect BUT we need the ability to exclude entire folders from carousel. Trying to exclude pics one by one is impossibly difficult and makes carousel impossible to use.
