FedEx on-line customer service is the worst I have experienced in a very long time. First the automated system doesn't always have the option you need and then does not provide you with the alternative to speak to a live person. I had a package being delivered, I was not home to receive it and the automated system did not give me the option to pick another delivery date. It was only after calling the automated system multiple times did I figure out you have to say customer service a million times that it would switch you to a live person. That is when my frustration really began. The customer service rep said that she would reschedule my delivery to a Saturday. I stayed home all Saturday for the delivery, but it never came. Call customer service on Sunday, was told "oh, this package can only be delivered Monday to Friday. I then ask for it to be held at my local FedEx site. They said it would be shipped there for me between Monday and Tuesday and I would get a notice. Never got a notice. I called customer service and was told that the package had been shipped back to the sender. At this point I was done, I asked to speak to their manager in the corporate head quarters. They transferred me to an Administrative Assistant in Huston, who had nothing to do with Customer Service. Apparently, there is no live person who leads the whole national Customer Service. No company is too big to fail and the best way to fail as a company starts with bad customer service. FedEx is on that path.

FedEx used to be a reliable delivery service. They are now the worst. Their deliveries never arrive on the expected date, arriving even weeks later. You call their 800 cust svc number and agent will give you a new date and your package doesn't arrive on that date either. My choice is to not use FedEx anymore.

Waiting on an important delivery (do not ever send any important paperwork with FedEx,they can actually threaten you life or livelihood because of incompetence). I am normally a patient person, package was shipped from Kentucky to Texas. Now it all would make sense if the package would have headed south from Kentucky especially since the North had some trouble with weather recently. But the package went North anyway. Delayed 1st in Indianapolis Indiana, delayed again in Greenwood,Indiana. They keep pushing my delivery date on a daily basis. 3 days late so far, the excuse was it wasn't sent express. Well we saved money by not shipping it with express since the last time we sent it express is what took as long as shipping it ground. Ground shipping inside the US should be about 5-7 business days. FedEx should change that to 10-21 business days if at all. And let's not get started on the delivery, my house number is litteraly posted twice, very legible in bold print...we even put a glow in the dark coding on it, just in case. We have a gate, it's raining it's a cardboard envelope, what should we do...driver: let's stick it in the ditch behind the mailbox. Could have used a plastic bag and hang it on the gate, that's what the US Postal Service does. And as bad as they are, FedEx is worse and more expensive. But since FedEx holds a Government Contract (you would think the US Postal Service would be their primary choice), the Goverment in their infinite wisdom uses our tax dollars so FedEx can stay in business. But the most reliable service and the most expensive service out there currently...the award goes to UPS...and even they have flaws. But people...sad to say...US Postal Service is by far better than FedEx. So if you want secure shipping...choose somebody other than FedEx.

We ordered 5 orthopedic dog beds from Elite K9 and there were 2 packages. The first package came on 12/21/2022 with one bed in it. The second package is supposed to be delivered on 12/21/2022. However, we never received it. Husband called fed ex and they had the street address wrong. And called again, and they claimed it was delivered and handed to owner. We called the company, hopefully the rest of products that was mis-delivered will be reshipped.

I sent presents for my parents and one month is gone and they still haven't received anything. The parcel is still at the border, they call EVERY DAY and they are continuously subject to taunting with every possible excuse on why the package is still there, or being told to call again after 7pm but the office closes at 6.30pm! I have never had these problems with other couriers. You are a joke, your customer service is a joke, you are going bust very soon and you deserve it.

I used FedEx overnight early morning delivery for my package on 12/06/2022, however, it was not delivered on morning of 12/07/2022, as scheduled. The tracking number shows my package got held in Mount Vernon, NY from 12/07/2022. I have called their Customer Service and all I get is the same status shown online; they cannot even tell what happened and/or why. I called on 12/10/2022 and requested that my package be returned to me since tracking number still shows it is in Mount Vernon, NY, and since I have missed my deadline already; I was given a reference/ticket number for this call. 12/14/2022 came and I still have not received back my package so I called them again but was just given a run around, was even told I need to speak to a case manager but when I asked to get transferred to the case manager they said they do not do that, the case manager will call me so I waited and two days passed and nobody called me. I sent an email to FedEx cargo claims but instead of telling me where is and what happened to my package I am being told to request a refund for the $101.73 I paid. I replied and told them I want my package back as it contains very personal and private information. I have lost a business opportunity already, and my personal information is compromised but they do not care at all.

Fedex Is The Worst Shipping Carrier On The Planet. I Ordered A 1500 Dollar Computer And Now The Package That Should Have Been Delivered ***today*** December 28th, Priority Overnight, Now Sits In Tennessee. Criminal Charges Need To Be Filed And Lawsuits Need To Be Filed Against This Company. They Should Not Be In Business! Now I Have To File A Chargeback Against B&h Photo, Who Uses This Carrier To Ship Orders, Since I Never Received My Order!!! I Hope I Teach Them A ***lesson*** Never To Use Fedex, Or ***give Customers Shipping Carrier Options*** If B&h Photo Ever Plans To Stay In Business!!!! Paid premium for 2 day delivery only to have my item get shipped east a thousand miles away from me (I live 500 miles west of the item's point of origin) and be sitting in a warehouse 48 hours after the package was marked accepted at a Fedex facility from the hands of the shipper. Meanwhile customer service reps keep telling me that "2 day service" means that they really have 3 days to deliver it.
Additionally, their phone system is really flawed. One has to have a "valid tracking number" to get past the robot answering program to even talk to a representative or the program hangs up on you. Since the tracking number was presented wrongly initially in an email to me, I could not get through to even inquire/file a complaint initially.

I had ordered 3 dresses from belk to be delivered within 2 businesses days by fedex which would of been 12/7/22. One of the dresses was for christmas party on the december 10th. I got a notice from fedex 12/6/22 the shipment was delayed. Shipment arrived at Indianapolis on 12/6/22. I thought no big deal, it Should arrive on 12/9/22 at the latest. Wrong! 12/9/22 I called fed ex to inquire why my package were still in Indianapolis. I was told by a representative that
1 of the 3 items was missing and that they were waiting for belk to ship the item. I called belk and they stated all 3 items were shipped. Also was told fed ex is not suppose to open packages but ship package to recepient. Belk refunded my 2 day shipping fee. Needless to say My package did not arrive. 12/11/22 called fed ex and told them what belk said. Fedex Representative stated all 3 items were missing and the package was empty upon arrival. By then I was livid! I called belk and demanded a refund explained that the items were not in the package. Belk approved my refund. 12/14/22 a fedex representative called me and stated they could not locatec the package and I would have to contact the seller for a refund. However, they would investigate the matter. By then I had it with fed ex. I told the representative I was told by one of their reps the package arrived at the facility but all 3 dresses were missing. I told the rerepresentative " the truth is that someone at fedex stole the dresses I purchased! It was not lost/ misplaced. The items were stolen by someone(s) at fedex! The representative stated he would close the investigation on missing packages because I told him that belk is going to refund my money! No apology for someone stealing my dresses! Fedex you should have called me as soon as the items were missing and been truthful that the items were stolen not misplaced/lost! Shame on you fedex!

I'd like to file a complaint re: Station HHRA in Hawthorne, CA for the negligence used in an investigation which caused my package to be either lost or stolen. It was proven through optics from the carrier and myself that my package from India was delivered to the wrong address. I never received correspondence or a phone call from the station, tracing agent or manger. One representative went above and beyond to help with this matter where it was determined the error was due to the carrier and station manager. I would like for someone to contact me re: this matter.

This is the third time in 18 months FedEx has sent my packages from Phoenix, Az. warehouse to Yuma, Az. warehouse and blames the mistake on me or the shipper.
Shipping label created the 31st. of Oct. 2022 packages not pick-up from shipper until the 3rd. of Nov. 2022.
I asked the shipped if they had contacted FedEx that the two packages were ready for shipment, they assured me they had on the 31st. the same time the labels were printed,
The labels were printed with my correct address and zip code. ( I had the shipped send me a photocopy of labels)

The packages arrived at the Phoenix. Az. warehouse the morning of the 4th of Nov.
That afternoon the packages were sent to Yuma, Az. warehouse.
Why, I asked when I called, they tried to tell me that was a Yuma Arizona Zip Code on both packages.
It was not, zip code 85033 is not a Yuma Zip Code!
I called Yuma Warehouse.
They can do nothing until late Monday the 7th. of Nov. and will reship on the 8th. of Nov to Phoenix, Az. warehouse.

I called the main headquarters for FedEx in TN. they filed a complaint and promised to get back with me, that was at 9:00AM this morning the 7th. of November and I have heard nothing.

Someone explain to me why, the FedEx warehouse manager who I spoke to could not immediately have those packages sent to me here in Phoenix, Az. after I explain these Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries were order for a Medical usage for my mothers life-support bed and chair.
He did not care, I was told he could do nothing, the Executive's at the TN. headquarters didn't care enough to contact me either.

I will never do business with any seller who using FedEx, yes I will ask the seller firsy who they ship with.

FedEx failed to deliver an item ordered Oct 21 with a promised delivery of OCT 25 to our home in Ohio. Their shipping was terrible: from Illinois to Arizona on Oct 26. They then said delivery would be on Oct 27. But FedEx sent it to Oklahoma on Oct 28, but told us delivery would be Oct 29. They then sent it back to Illinois on Oct 29. But on Oct 30 they send Kentucky. They said it would be delivered on Nov 1 but did not. Maybe it will come Nov 2.
You can't trust their delivery dates. It is very difficult to talk to them on the phone, but if you do, they do not tell you the truth.
The answer is simple for the future: if you order on line and you see that it will ship FEDEX, cancel the order, or have it delivered to your local store and pick it up yourself.
DO NOT RELY ON FEDERAL EXPRESS ! ! !

FedEx delivery person yelled F--k you to us. Also store wouldn't give me credit on an item because FedEx said it wasn't sign for but was hand delivered to the customer. I never recv'd the package. I'm sure it was hand delivered but to WHO I don't know.

Every time FedEx Brings a package to my house they drop it off somewhere else I have to go get it there was a time they left a package next to a gate where there was no address on our road terrible company don't know why anyone uses them this happens all the time

Gold chain was not in the case..the fed ex driver took it & put tape across it...I will go Too The extreme to make sure that person get fired

FedEx lost my envelope for 12 days before it was delivered. It took me another 12 days to attempt to get a billing adjustment / credit for the extremely late delivery. I was informed that thier 'policy' is you have to file for a credit / adjustment within 15 days of SHIPMENT (not delivery). I had MULTIPLE conversations with FedEx reps while I was trying to track / find / get delivered my envelope. NONE of those tracking reps mentioned that I needed to file a claim BEFORE 15 days of SHIPMENT. When I asked the Billing department that I wanted to speak to a Supervisor, three different reps said either "We do not have a supervisor." or "I cannot escalate your request to anyone because your 15 day period has expired." Unbelievable; no ability to appeal their policy REGARDLESS of circumstances.

I am angry that my package was left outside on the cement in front of the apartment complex door. If delivery person had opened the main door, there is a table to put packages on or could be on the floor so someone would know it was there. That is just plain lazy!!!! This has happened before and luckily someone noticed and brought it inside. Come on people , haven't we all had enough to worry about?

My girlfriend claims a car with a package was being sent to me around a month or 2 ago. We have still not received it and, in fact, the delivery people claim to have experienced problems.

They have been requesting money to pay for their problems and I have given them in excess of $3000 worth of gift cards to pay their expenses.

Is this how Federal Express operates???? I feel like they are extorting money from me illegally!!!

Fed Ex, why do you out source your customer service in the United States to Central America????? There are PLENTY people here in the USA wanting to work, yet give jobs to other countries. I am looking for my package purchased in the United States, paid for overnight delivery, FIVE DAYS AGO, and still do not have my package. I called 1-800-FedEx only to speak to "Rachel" and "Kelly" in Central America. I asked to speak to someone in the USA, they told me they did not have a phone number to connect me with someone in the USA. They could barely speak English, therefore, they had trouble communicating. They did not help me find my package and I still do not know where it is. I do not enjoy paying for a service I do not receive. I would like someone to provide some answers. I tried to contact someone via your Facebook page, but to no surprise, on one answered me.

I found my packages is broken and my items leaked out. Because the drivers just left my packages silently at the lobby of my apartment and left, I can't ask him or her to know if something were lost during transportation.

THE WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE I HAD EVER!!!
I received my packages delivered by FedEx today but one horrible thing is that they just left the package at the lobby of my apartment without telling me. Until my landlord called me, I finally knew some of my packages were delivered (I had total of 11 packages but only 6 of them were delivered. The other 5 in on the way). There are several causes of this terrible mistakes.
Firstly, one reason that I didn't know my packages were arrived is that FedEx provided me with wrong tracking information. Until I called their customer support, I finally knew that the reason I got the wrong information is because fedex split my shipment in two parts without updating this information to me. I use my original tracking number and got the status of my 5 "on-the-way" packages but not the packages delivered today. That's why I am so surprised to received package today. Until I called my customer service, I know my 5 "on-the-way" packages are actually have new tracking number. So they basically put the information of my new tracking number on the pages of my old tracking number!
Secondly, although I signed up for BOTH email and text message notification but none of them notified me about the delivery. I checked my phone number and email address to the customer support and they were CORRECT! . The reason why I don't get any notification is still unknown.
Thirdly, because of previous two reasons and some unknown causes, the drivers just left my packages on the lobby silently ( although I have the correct room number at my delivery address on FedEx website) and left. I knew the delivery until my landlord told me. Right now those heavy packages ( which I can't move by myself ) were left on the lobby and I have to find and pay other helpers to help me move those packages to my room. Until I finished the phone call with customer service, I realized I once received two bell ringings of the front door of my apartment. I picked up my phone of the bell ringing twice and asked who is the caller. No one answered my questions. Right now, I guess the caller is maybe the driver. So, originally, I can avoid this terrible mistakes if the driver can communicate with me. But actually he or she wouldn't do that. I asked help for customer service but they can't do nothing but only apologies. They can't help me to find helper to move my packages ( I move to Cleveland less than one week, which means this is difficult for me to find a helper) or call the driver back to fix his or her mistakes.
I write this complaint because I hope others can avoid this terrible situation. Don't just use Deliver Manager in the website. They are not reliable. Calling a representative may avoid mistakes. AND, as FedEx is so poor to solve the problem, we need carefully do anything in details to avoid horrible mistakes (as the FedEx is helpless with those mistakes the FedEx made). Right now, I have to pay the price and spend about hundreds of dollars to look for helpers to move my packages in my room even though the actual moving distance is only a few steps.

I had a federal express package mailed on March 20, 2021 to the Baltimore Social Security Office. Three months later, I found out the office never received the package. I called the Federal Express office located at 11 S. Charles street in Baltimore City where I had the package delivered and gave them my tracking number. I found out the package was delivered to a different Social Security location that I did not sent to. It appears that someone at this Federal Express location changed the address on the package. I called the Baltimore location at 6100 Wabash and they said they never received the package. However, if you track the package number no signature was required when delivered? How is it NO SIGNAURE is required when you spend X amount of money when you send a package. What's the point. This is Fraud and a federal crime to steal someone's identity when sending packages to social security. A probe has already been sent.

Customer reps lied to me, likely b/c they didn't like that I was being rude b/c their employees delayed time sensitive documents, killing a car sale. I called their bluff and asked for another rep who promptly told me that there was an option I could take to satisfy my complaint.

Had they not lied, I wouldn't have called back and wasted their resources anymore than I already had. But the reps chose to go the immature route.

Finally, the delay was caused by a driver that apparently doesn't always stick to his pick up responsibilities. He's been reported multiple times, but FedEx hasn't done anything about it. So this is squarely their fault, but somehow I was the one that deserved to be fed lies.

i am trying to make an official complaint about the delivery problems i am having and the staff at fed ex as this is a long standing problem that is not being resolved a driver that works out of the air terminal in mobile Alabama is driving up our neighbours driveway to deliver our packages and it is causing us great stress between us and our Neighbors and also the driver is refusing to drive up our driveway and will not deliver to the porch as is requested in our delivery instructions that were setup by the depot managers now i have a next day package that has bee a week in transit and has been out for delivery 2 days in a row and returned to the depot and still after numerous phone calls there is no sign of a delivery date given i have been lied to by your customer representatives and i have been hung up on by persons at the depot as soon as they hear my voice and that i am not American so i can only assume that all of hassle is because of prejudice for not being American so i am going to take legal action as well as report this to the corporate office and the CEO as i believe that even this communication will fall on deaf ears as it would seem that FedEx is no longer customer orientated.as can be seen from the lack of promised return phone calls that never get returned
