I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a woman that could barely speak English at Harry and David. I placed an order after she put me on hold at least 20 times.
Now they tell me our order doesn't exist.
Harry and David used to have the best customer service in the country. Now it's horrible. We will never order there again. Really sad.

Awful experience. Paid for delivery by 13th, mother's day. Not getting it till tomorrow the 14th NOT mother's day. Never using these dopes again mother's day ruined by a company who job is to deliver on special days. Can't fulfill your only obligation.. another sad sad company..don't waste your money here.

We were sent a gift box from Harry and David's by friends when a family member died. I was so excited because I remember ordering from Harry and David's in the past, and their product was always exceptional. This was anything but. These were plain old Bartlett pears, and they look like they came off the tree in my yard. I don't spray my tree so that tells you what condition the pairs are often in. These are full of little nicks that have already turned brown, and will probably right before these things ever ripen. Like most Bartlett pears, they are hard as a rock. They also include a piece of swirl bread which was also hard as a rock and inedible. After reading all of the negative comments, it sounds like Harry and David went down the tube when they were bought out by a big conglomerate flower company. I made sure the people who sent it understood how bad it was.

Your products are high quality and delicious but you must improve your communication and delivery services. I was extremely dissatisfied with your service on my order #5040151463 a birthday gift basket that was supposed to be delivered on 03/18/2023 but didn't happen. I even paid for overnight delivery service. Item did not get deliver and NO ONE has bother to send me an email or text message - regarding delay for whatever the reason.
When thought of Harry & David, I would expect a higher caliber of services, but I'm so wrong about your Company.

Poor customer service then foreign people have no understanding and they can't get nothing right they sent me out a box of the cream of the crop pears I wouldn't have sent them to a cat then they send out another box I never really received it nor my daughter hers for Xmas do t shop this company they getting sloppy and do t care I wanted my 107.00 back liers

I placed two orders on November 16, 2022 with Harry and David for delivery by December 16, 2022. When December 13, 2022 came and still nothing from Harry and David on whether the order had shipped or what, I got in touch with them and was "assured" by "customer service" that my two orders would be delivered to the recipients by December 16. Lo and behold, I go a notice on December 15 that the shipping label had been prepared for FedEx and delivery was now supposed to be by "end of day" December 23, 2022. I am on the FedEx update list to I get alerts to any changes. I guess my two orders are still sitting somewhere in Harry and David's Oregon warehouse with a FedEx label on them. Apparently Harry and David doesn't give a flying hoot about fulfilling long time faithful customers' orders in any kind of timely way - to say nothing that the "customer service rep" flat out lied to me about the delivery date. Harry & David are liars and cheats that take a customer's money and BS them about "delivery". I have been a customer of Harry and David for many years and I will never order anything from them again. I will take my business to one of their competitors. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HARRY AND DAVID!

Horrible customer service. Charged my card twice for same order ended up cancelling the order. Not sure if they'll return the money. Never ever again will I order anything from this fly by night company. If possible to leave five negative stars i would.

I ordered a gift basket to be sent to my brother I'm on a fixed income they also when it was over and done with they charged me twice and nothing was sent I am so disappointed my mothers and grandparents swore by this company I am so disappointed for a company of this stature to treat people this way is unbelievable specially when you're on a fixed income

I LOVE your pears. I spent some time today trying to order 2 of the 6-pair boxes, then decided to order the 2-box special instead. Clicked on that etc/ At the end I discovered that my initial exploration had been turned into an order. I intended to have only ONE order, for delivery after Xmas, but now I find I have TWO orders. By the time I realized this (about 10 min after I had completed the 2nd order) it was too late to change.

I don't know how you changed my initial exploration into a final order, but you did. I'll find people to give that to, but I'm MAD that your site turns an incomplete order into a complete one. You have to realize that people over 65 don't have the same facility with the internet that younger ones do; you can't just complete an order simply because it sat on the screen for a while. Maybe I'll be back next year, but maybe not.

Received rotten fruit( all was rotten) as a gift. Order number is no where on packaging ( which they are aware of) and they say the only way to replace pears is for me to contact sender to get the order number. I don't think that's appropriate to ask me to call and thank someone for a gift but oh by the way it was rotten

My son is receiving the 12-Month Fruit of the Month subscription. He received a bad shipment and I needed a replacement sent out. There is no kind way of saying how horrible my experience was. My first "customer service" rep just hung up on me after 12 minutes. I called back and got another "customer service" rep. I do not understand why companies have employees in customer service with terrible speaking skills. They may be great in their first language, but they do not communicate well in English. I had to force him to slow down several times, repeat MANY things and verify all the information because I truly had no idea was he was saying. I understand that help is difficult to find, but can a company as large as Harry and David please have a call center staffed with employees who can communicate?????

I have had terrible experiences with Harry and David for the past few years. My late husband and I have used Harry and David for many years, but the past few years have been frustrating. I wasted 2 hours on the phone and the order is still misspelled and wrong, after using customer service on the phone from Jamaica and India. They misspelled my name, the name of my recipients, and the greetings.
This will be my last time using Harry and David

Received a gift of assorted cakes recently. We noticed the really pungent odor of artificial flavoring smells and the date on the package said April/22 and it is Nov/22. This is eight months OLD! I could of have gotten extremely sick from this old rotten food and that could result in a lawsuit. Customer Service, if you want to call it that, doesn't represent an American company. Hiring low wage call slaves will do your business no good in the long run. It only makes the business look cheap. It shouldn't take a half hour to satisfy a customer who got rotten food. I will never purchase from them ever again. My so called gift went into the trash.

Do NOT order from these people. I ordered a case (2 Trays) of Honey Bells, but I received was far from adequate. For starters, the entire case of fruit was frozen. Each piece is damaged, either by bruising, scuffs scratches some still green...this is what is commonly referred to as "seconds". Definitely NOT the Premium fruit I paid for. To make matters worse, out of the 30 pieces of fruit, only 6 were actually Honey Bells. The remainder are merely just regular oranges. Having pre-reserved Honey Bells for nearly 30 years, I am educated to the fact on the shape and color the Honey Bells should be. What I received are NOT Honey Bells. Moreover, the fruit isn't fit to eat. The only way to salvage what's in the case is to juice it or make Marmalade from it. Burn me once, but you WILL NOT have the opportunity to burn me again. You people shouldnt be allowed to continue in Businesss. I should have known when I had a "Bot" answering my emails and then failing to provide specific answers to my questions. Gourmet Fruit!! Harry & David, what a joke!!

I have two issues with Harry and David's over the holidays. First, is that I had ordered a three month fruit gift and only one month has been delivered. December has never been delivered nor have I received an update as to why. The second issue was that I placed an order for a fruit package to be delivered on 1/5/2022. So far nothing has been delivered. I called customer service and they stated it will be delivered and I would get an email. I have not received any emails updating the delivery date.

There Customer service reads a canned script. HORRIBLE service. My package says in transit but the shipping service has no record of the package just shipping label being created. They can't tell me any details. 5 days after they say it shipped. I work in domestic and international shipping that's just BS.

Have felt with them for years,but this year they have gone to hell. They don't deliver, when they tell you, deliver the wrong item,can't talk to a real person. When you finally get a real person they are no help..to bad this company has gone to hell.

I have tried 4 different phone number for there customer service department and can not reach any of them! I m trying to get a package issue resolved for a customer and have no way to get in contact with Harry and Davids to resolve!

Yesterday my friend Mary and I (Tina) shopped at the Waterloo NY Harry & David's store.



It was a very busy day in the store, and one of the associates, Margaret Was the first individual to help us. Margaret was very knowledgeable about products and very pleasant to talk to. Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? One thing my friend and I both wanted was an artichoke dip.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? There was just one jar on the shelf, so Margaret went to the back but return shortly and stated that someone else was going to retrieve the artichoke dip as it was locked and she didnÃ?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½t have the key. Both Mary and I said ok and continued our shopping. Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? We shopped some more, and no one came out with any, so we went to the counter and asked again if there was any more.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? This is when Kim, the asst. Mgr. said that she was checking on it.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? She said she would go out back and look.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ten minutes went by, and we decided to check out instead of waiting any longer.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? The store was very crowded and we were ready so I Checked out first. Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Sandra was the associate behind the counter and she too was very nice and helpful.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Just as I completed my transaction, Kim came back up to the register and said "here, I found the dip".Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? I said thank you, but I've already cashed out.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Very rudely Kim yelled "I told you I would be right back!Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Everyone just looked at her in shock.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? She wasn't polite, she wasn't kind.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? She was extremely rude about it and very loud.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? I was very embarrassed and visually upset, and after the shock wore off, said I'm sorry, but you should not be talking to me like that.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Starr another associate was also behind the counter saw that I was very embarrassed, as was everyone in the store that could hear Kim.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? We asked to speak with the manager, and that's when we found out it was Kim.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Kim went back to the stock room and hid at this point.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? She did not apologize, or even make eye contact With us.



Your stores are known for not only their quality products, but the friendly and helpful staff as well.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? 



That was not the case yesterday in your Waterloo store.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã?  I donÃ?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½t usually write or complain but I have never felt as embarrassed about the treatment that I received in your store. No one should ever be treated that way. I feel like you need to know what happened, and hopefully want to do something to rectify it.

I had to cancel an order from Harry & David due to relocating my parents from the delivery address because of the Corona Virus Pandrmic. The customer service graciously cancelled my order and refunded my money on a 3 month order.

I shopped recently at Harry & David Store 568 at Lee Premium Outlets in Lee, Massachusetts. Even though they're a bit pricey, it's the go-to place to treat yourself (or someone else)! The team member that took care of my transaction was Anthony and he was, by far, one of the nicest people I've met in a long time! It might be a good idea to clone Anthony and have him in lots of places where the public deals!

Today I was in store #844 in the Queenstown Premium Outlets, Queenstown,MD
The yung lady, Brandy, was VERY helpful,pleastant and store smart.
I purchased two H&D Chicken pot pies that were on sale. I did not have a cooler to put them in and would not be home for serveral hours. She said they had a styrafoam one and in the back and she packed it with ice for me.
I do shop there at times and hopefully she will be there to help me. A very good employee. As I had walked in the store she offered me a free sample, Yes, I did take one. Keep up the good work, Brandy.

I want to thank Tim in customer service for his ability to make an issue a pleasant experience. The issue had already been taken care of by Harry and David, and he politely pointed this out, plus extending a 20% credit on my next order. I LOVE Harry and Davids, and will continue to shop for gifts, especially at holiday time.

I was having a very difficult experience with Harry and David, as I work for one management company that represents three properties, and so I was submitting three different orders, and I admit, it was confusing. However, I started getting calls from employees at Harry and David telling me to contact them due to a problem with the order, and when I would, we would go in circles. After two hours speaking with various customer services representatives, I asked to speak to a manager, and was transferred to the Exectuive Services Team, and Priscilla. She did such a wonderful job understanding what I needed, and made it a joy to work with her. I was ready to canel our $1700.00 order, but after speaking with her, I can't wait to call again next year! Thanks!
