I received a new Holmes Bionaire model BCM730BCN in December of 2020, which was a replacement for the same model that failed (water container cap broke) before the one-year warranty was up. About 11 months later that unit also failed. The water container developed spider cracks all through it and the water all leaked out and caused water damage. I contacted Holmes Customer Service again asking for advice, and was told to return the unit by courier for inspection. I did that and the tracking number shows it was received by the company three weeks ago. I have since sent three emails asking what is happening but have not received any response. I have now purchased another brand as I got tired of breathing in very dry air from a furnace keeping my home warm in -30C whether. Needless to say, I'm done with Holes-n products.

So terrible. No customer service at all. No one answers telephone, emails, chat forms. Is this place out of business?

Called Holmes Customer Service department to cancel an order. I had purchased a box fan, which is advertised as having a regular electrical plug. Holmes' product page did not have a manual PDF which would've shown me that the plug requires a safety fuse (I was intentionally wanting a fan that did NOT require a fuse). After searching, I found the fan's manual on Amazon's website. When I discovered a fuse was required, I called Homes CS to cancel the order (as there is no option on the order page to do so). The CS agent said she had cancelled it (which, I can was done). However, she failed to send the promised email confirmation stating that the order was cancelled and how long to await the authorization to reverse into my bank account. I called Holmes CS again to request they contact my bank, verify the required information, so that the bank could immediately reverse the authorization (as I needed the funds to purchase the correct fan). The CS agent promised a call from their Financial Department to confirm the information with me, prior to their calling the bank. I've yet to receive that call, I've yet to receive a cancellation/refund email, and I still do not have the funds returned to my account. In addition, I contacted/submitted my request via their website's Contact Us page. Still haven't heard back. Evidently, the Customer Service agents make promises they do not follow up on. Based on my experience, I would never again purchase from this company/website again, and will be filing a dispute with my bank regarding the un-refunded amount.

Called Holmes Products and answered questions asked by automated system. Was supposed to be transferred to a customer service person, but instead, I got a customer service survey. I did this twice. Answer a survey before interfacing with a real person? I'd give a zero rating if I could.

I just had the PLEASURE of speaking with MALEK, one of your customer service reps. I called the 866 number and I got him. I was interested in how long to charge my 4-inch personal fan (and other questions) that I just purchased at Target. His customer service was OUTSTANDING. With kindness, he "listened" to my questions and answered them thoroughly. Malek is definitely an asset to your company. I just wanted to "sing his praises" and THANK you for hiring Malek.?

Have a humidifier from Holmes. One of the parts broke after a couple of years - got great customer service and they even sent me the part free - I will definitely get Holmes again.
