Warranty claim after 6 months for a plastic drawer front .Customer service refused to honour and stated we would have to pay £70.00 for an engineer visit .
1 hr on phone and not resolved , asked to speak with a supervisor and told this was not possible as the lady was working from home .Terrible customer service and poor product that cost us £500.00 for the freezer .

The customer service is so poor, I tried to call many times and they keep giving you different numbers since I'm from ROÍ they gave another number but it went back to UK customer service number. Calling them within 3 hrs. Nothing happened, purchased an oven engineer came to fix after 2 wks being repaired went to the same issues again. The oven has been used for few times only, it's very new and under warranty. I will never recommend this Hotpoint. It's a waste of time with non functional customer service.

I posted views on hotpoint engineers saying how useless they are seeing as 4 engineers came to sort the problem with my fridge freezer that was replaced and still didn't work after 4 visits from engineers. Hotpoint didn't event have the guts to answer my review. I don't think they could give me an answer. You learn by experience and know never to trust them again they are a complete waste of time with no experience.

Absolute inefficient company engineers knew hardly anything about installation. (I paid £90) for this service lost lot of food eas lied to all along over 9 weeks would never use hotpoint again

Inefficien no help at all.manager promised as goodwill gesture (3times)to send asda voucher £20. After no receiving it contacted customer service again no notes made. Couldn't even speak to manager. Come to conclusion I was told a pack of lies.will not be using hotpoint again and will make sure my experience is known on the Internet

Absolutely discusted with hotpoint. Reported fault with my fridge freezer unable to get parts for it. 3 weeks later replacement received. Which was faulty, 3 engineers came on 3 separate visits none seemed to know anything about fridge freezers.it was fitted wrong parts missing frige and freezer completely froze food in both.light not working. I lost lot of food was told by a manager from hotpoint as a goodwill gesture they would send a £20 asda voucher. 3 times I rang was told same thing. Rang today was told nothing on information you have. Absolutely discusted with the inefficiency and lies from hotpoint. I will make sure people are aware of this. Reading some of the reviews I am not the only dissatisfied customer. I suggest you employ professional engineers.

What an absolute joke customer service is. Our washing machine has now had 6 engineer visits and our machine is only just a year old. When we asked for a new machine we got told it was our own fault as they had previously found a sock in the sumb. The latest problem is f06 a door fault and apparently its our fault because we had a sock in the sumb. What a joke.

Worst washing machine I ever bought nothing but problems I had better luck with older machines .this new hot point is noisy an u can't unlock the lid when if it's out of balance you have no control over any of the settings. I'm never going to buy anther hot point. Never have I ever encountered such a peice of junk before. I had better usage from a used one from garage sales. I have been without a washing machine for more than two weeks. I have cover that I'm paying for monthly and when I reported the problem I had to wait 7 days for a repair and when the engineer came over he had no parts to repair and booked an appointment for repairs 5 days after the initial visit. It then got cancelled on that morning I was due a visit. I had to make plans to get my son to school and take a day off work!! They then booked another appointment for this coming Friday another 5 days later. I cannot wash bedding, towels or clothes and it's mounted up. I work full time and can't hand wash and hang out to dry all the time. I'm extremely disappointed with hotpoint customer service especially for a washing machine that cost £295. Not happy at all and would not recommend

Useless beyond belief. Rude staff. Management behind a wall of clueless drones who refuse to allow me to make a complaint without writing an email to head office. Appalling service. Elderly delivery driver out on his own with no assistance or equipment to manage stairs. Apparently, because I didn't call a number at the bottom of an email to tell them there are stairs they had to take my appliance away, despite me offering to help, and offering the option of leaving it in the lobby. Then the driver made false allegations of me threatening him, so he didn't have to bring it back. They send dozens of texts and emails constantly in the lead up to your delivery slot, and only one of them even mentions stairs.

Why, if you cannot staff your delivery vans appropriately for delivering white goods, is the message about stairs not put at the very top of the delivery form? Why hide it at the bottom of an email? I have wasted a day waiting for this, and have to cancel my gas installation. All I got from Hotpoint was a phone call investigating my "threatening behaviour". I've spent £400 here, absolutely no mention of what my options are now. Just left without my appliance or money. They have to investigate before sending another driver, and it's my word against his...

Disgusted.

Awaiting a washing machine repair from hotpoint .
Engineer failed to attend on 4 separate occasions , 2 of those without any text, communication or phone call.
Customer service uninterested when you eventually get through to them they cannot give you any information as to why engineer did not attend.

4 weeks and washer mother board broken. I've waited another 4 weeks for repair. Theyr not interested. Can't speak to anyone. Actually stated I could log a complaint but it wouldn't go anywhere. Im struggling to understand how they are still in operation

Absolutely dreadful.

It has taken over a month to get an oven hood fixed. Every time the engineer arrives he doesn't have 'the correct tools'.

This is the 4th visit and I'm still no closer to having an operable oven hood. I wouldn't ever buy or use hotpoint again.

Bought a matching
Hotpoint H8 Washer and Dryer
Top of the Range ?, the most expensive machines ive ever bought.

And DEFINITELY THE WORST.
Washer leaked on first use, and after 4 mnths started to shred/thread pull towels etc.
Dryer base cracked after 3mnths and leaked entire contents all over the floor and was deemed 'beyond repair' ?.

Absolute rubbish, poor quality, unreliable, crap (IMO ?)

You might want to spend your hard earnt pennies on Anything other than these!? ? ???

My landlord replaced my old hot point dishwasher with a new one. But this one has 0 options as far as heat settings!!?? I dont want my stuff burnt up and melted. Btw the last one even though we never used the heat setting got stuck in heat dry ALL NIGHT AND RUINED MY VINTAGE TUPPERWARE !!?? It could have caused a fire!!!

I bought a hotpoint fridge freezer which stopped working after 2 months, hotpoint refuse to exchange or refund, insisting on repairing it, after 6 weeks I'm still waiting. Appalling customer service, no way of speaking to a real person, just computer generated 'live chat' . I will never buy hotpoint or any other product from the whirlpool group and I strongly recommend others follow my example

This hOtpoint washer HTW240ASK6WS is a POS...super load only half full of water, small load 3 inches of water, not efficient having to run my wash two times to get clean.you get what you pat for...do not buy a hotpoint or a GE for that matter, same company, poor quality...my machine is only 1 year old...POS

Awful Awful service by Hotpoint - the fridge freezes food in winter. An engineer came to fix during guarantue period, but ultimately this fix did not work. Now they refuse to fix as it ouit of the guarantue period. Awful awful ....

Awful waited 3 weeks only for the engineer to make the leak worse.
Impossible to speak to someone on phone. Have managed to book yet another appointment on line. Who knows if the problem will be resolved?

Shockingly bad delivery service. 3 attempts at delivering a fridge and each time a complete failure. We have wasted 3 days waiting for the delivery to happen. The latest was the forgot to load it on their truck!!!!. Customer support is next to useless and just read off a script. I have been promised it will definitely be delivered tomorrow and the depot manager would personally call me to give me a definitive time. Still waiting and not having high expectations. Knew I should have got it elsewhere.

Clueless Engineers!
My Hotpoint LST216A dishwasher needs servicing as it won't finish washing cycles. After the water has been pumped in and the machine is about to start washing the dishes, it stops and returns an error code (1st, 3rd, and 4th lights flashing).
One month after the initial service request was made, an annoying cycle has been established:
1. Upon arrival, a new engineer asks what is wrong with the dishwasher.
2. Dishwasher is tested
3. Dishwasher is open
4. Engineer makes a guess about what part needs to be replaced.
5. A replacement part is ordered
6. A new visit is booked for one week later
As Hotpoint engineers are not good at guessing, 3 of them have completed the cycle described above. One month on, I'm still doing the dishes at the sink and waiting for the 4th cycle to be kicked-off next week.

Twice had engineer cancelled call as it was a gas job even though the repair stated gas job in description. Total buch of incompantant cowboys terrible customer service with no regards for the customer will never but there products again

I would advise anyone thinking of buying a hotpoint product not to as their after sales service is non existant.for eg trying to contact them is impossible.

Our fridge broke then we ordered new one from Hotpoint then they sent 2 engineers that came with the fridge and said that it can't come into the house as it is too big and the doors are too small to fit it in so they went away with the fridge. Then Andy the technician called and asked why the fridge couldn't enter and we told them why. Then Andy and Owen came next day to check they measured all the doors and even went and see if they could bring the fridge in from the garden. After that they said they would come the next day and bring the fridge and told us to take out the doors so it could fridge and they tried their best. Next day they came and the doors were removed and came with the fridge and took the fridge doors out and it finally fit. They managed to bring the fridge in and put it in place. They tried their best and did not give up and did a great job and were thankful for them being so helpful. We have many Hotpoint appliances and this is the first time we have received such good service, thanks to Andy and Owen.

Having numerous problems with a Hotpoint fridge freezer, over 10 months, I have to praise the repair team wholeheartedly. On EVERY visit they were courteous above & beyond what was necessary.
The problem was eventually solved, for which we are eternally grateful. Thank you all.

The Hotpoint Engineer sent text 6min before hand and arrived on time. He was very pleasant and efficient. He had all the parts and cleaned the tumble thoroughly. Very pleased with the service and professionalism.Thank you.

Bought an at risk tumble drier at the end of November 2015 why weren't these faulty tumblers recalled?
Hotpoint have given me a repair date in august it is disgusting that anyone has to live with a dangerous and faulty appliance we ought to sue as they still let these faulty appliances get sold even after the problem was identified.

had hotpoint washer/dryer for some years and last night the heating element on the dryer blew. I telephoned hotpoint at 8.05 under my extended warranty and was informed that an engineer would be with me today at 8.47 he arrived and by 9.15 had replaced the element and the machine was up and running. 100% customer satisfaction as it is Friday very grateful and impressed. After sales teams are always very pleasant and helpful on telephone as are their engineers. Well done hotpoint.

I would like to say my experience with techinician 133 07 0391 was the best experience I have ever had with a repairman coming to my come. He was pleasant, professional and fixed the problem fast and correct. He explained what would assist in the future to prevent this problem from reoccuring. An excellent experience. Also your response time to my repair was fast. Thank you

I am an ex employee of hotpoint and there customer service is shocking I like to help people but these people only care about money. I couldn't continue to work for this company and can see them going under in my time there I received 2 positive calls that's it. Really unpleasant place to work and I wouldn't recommend buying there appliances or asking for help the company is a shambles.
