purchased a Insinkerator HOT150 hot water dispenser. After 2 yrs, the heater element stopped working. Insinkerator will not support this in any way - warranty, repair, replacement

Customer service sucks just give me the runaround. You can't understand the foreigners with their accent. Customer service should learn better English.

Do not waste your money on this company! Called customer service for my garbage disposal that I've only had for 7 months. Basically they don't back up their products with the manufacture warranty. They told me to call a plumber and in the website it clearly says that they send a tech over. Customer service doesn't even act like they want to help.

Contacted Insinkerator for another warranty issue on the HWT (Hot Water Dispenser). It failed after 3 months. This is the third one that has failed in about 3-6 months. The plumbing/installation is correct. Water system includes a filter and soft water treatment. Called customer support and case was escalated to a senior customer support specialist. Received a callback (caller id) but no message. Returned the their call and their is no record of Insinkerator contacting me. Terrible customer support. Poor unit quality.

Never ever do warranty work for this company. Waiting 5 months to get paid. Keep getting run around!

Craped out after less than 1 1/2 years. Nothin but run around from company. First said they would send a tec to my house to evalueate the situation (LMAO) told them I already replaced it and I want a refund for old one. Sent me e-mail saying reply to this send copy of recipts for old one and new . 3 times got The following

I have spoke to customer service 4 times in a 4+ week time frame. Each time they said they will look into it and get back with me. I am just looking for the replacement disposal promised to me almost 5 weeks a go.

I am so upset and disappointed. I bought an InSinkErator cap that goes into the sink and connects to the garbage disposal that is black to match my black sink. I have only had it four months and the black is peeling off and now it is part silver. For a $20 Part, I have no way to remove it without hiring someone to take out my whole garbage disposal. How can that piece only lasts for four months? It is going to cost me a fortune to replace that. How can I be compensated? My expensive sink looks like crap and I cannot just take that part out I need to remove the entire garbage disposal. What a horrible design

I ordered two items on Feb 6th.....I haven't received them now after two weeks. Customer Service sucks! $32.10 down the drain. Horrible company. I certainly will never seek the items and will never see a refund. INSINKERATOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS BIG TIME!

This is by far the worst product design ever. Have ever tried to install one. The lineup hole coupler is impossible to seal unbelievable stupidity to perfectly align the foolish design of the pipe seal everything else in acidic lines perfect with ease of tolerance but this master cluster. Really your that stupid.

i purchased an hot cold water faucet dispenser which was leaking from day 1. Its been 3 weeks and perhaps even more since I had reached out to the company and still have not received service. They are playing games with authorization stating to call the service company but service company will not provide service until it is authorized which they apparently didnt. Still waiting....do not use this product.

I will update this review if anything changes.

I purchased an insinkerator hot cold water faucet and it leaked from day 1.
i have been trying to get my faucet serviced for 3 weeks and still no one is able to do this. So much for their warranty! There is none, folks! dont buy this product!

Your customer service is very bad. I called because a hot water dispenser I purchased did not fit, despite the fact that the product specifications said that it required a 1.25 inch to 1.5 inch counter hole. Our hole was 1.38 so naturally we assumed it would fit and purchased the product and had a plumber come to install it. The black sleeve did not fit and a call to customer service did not help. The first rep, Carla, simply kept insisting we needed a 1 1/2 inch hole. I pointed out that their website said otherwise and asked for a technician to come out and install it. She said the extra warranty I purchased did not cover installation. I asked to speak to her supervisor. Ken, the supervisor came on and was quite patronizing. I pointed out that the product specifications were wrong and he asked where I seen them. I said on their amazon site and he said they were not responsible for products purchased on amazon. I then said it was on their insinkerator website and he had me show him where I had seen this after walking him page by page to the website. When I pointed out the samee in formation on the insinkerator website he said that further instructions were in the manual on page 6 par c. I pointed out that I didn't have the manual when I purchased the product and he said they couldn't be responsible for every little exception in the product description. I again asked for a refund, but they said they didn't handle refunds. I then asked for someone to come and install the product and he repeated what Carla said. He said I should have my plumber drill a bigger hole and I told him that plumbers don't do this, that we needed to get a granite fabricator to do that job for a lot more money. He said he couldn't help and one of those insincere apologies. The only thing insinkerator has going for it against cheaper models is its reputation based on perceived quality. But when your customer service does not acknowledge that a customer has a legitimate complaint, and that the product specifications are misleading, and cannot offer any remedy, then this company is due to eventually fail. There is no accountability between your product, your customer information, and your service. They also would not provide me their last name despite asking me for my name, address etc. Also, other reviews on amazon suggested people have had this problem, or problems with parts missing from the installation kit.

I ordered a new disposal seven days ago. Mine began leaking and was out of warranty. The ordering and shipping process is horribly poor. I was told it would arrive in 5 to 7 days. It has been 7 days and has not even shipped. I've written five emails and never received one reply. I have no idea what is going on and need to cancel my plumber.

Wow! Totally not customer friendly organization. Disposal only 1 year old (to date) and it died, called insinkerator and they said two weeks to get tech to look at it and fix or replace. If not a manufacture defect we would be charged for the service call $180. They are sending me a new one -- after much conversation about customer service but still 7 to 10 days out, not to mention we are 1 week from the Christmas Holiday. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

On Sept 24th 2015, I attempted to contact InsinkErator concerning my garbarge disposal which had stopped working. I was transferred to several different people in Manilla who refused to transfer me back to the main office in the United States. I tracked down the corporate office telephone number and could only leave a message for a return call. I was told that this company made the best garbarge disposals in the US. If this is any example of their reputation, it has totally dropped!

I would deeply like to address a problem with someone from the corporate entity however there seems to be no access to this organization. How does one get service from the corporate group?? All websites sends one to retailers of the product, not any real knowledge on product and/or problem resolution. Help!!!

Purchased, installed, LEAKING WATER, NEVER USED. Followed procedure to get area rep, took 2 hrs to get phone answered in WI, 30 min to get area rep to answer his phone! I would never ever ever call this guy for anything, he is not on top of any game. This guy isn't even a plumber, he is appliance dealer. Am waiting one week for service call. You can be assured I will never ever ever ever purchase another top line Insinkerator.

The InSinkErator staff could not have done a better job. Their call center agents were knowledgeable and understanding. They helped me understand the problem and got a service agent to repair my disposer in my home. All of this at no additional charge. This is truly the best product and customer support I have ever seen.
