I am so upset.... I had signed up for the free trial and then forgot that the sub would start on 10 December. I was then horrified to see that over £400 had been debited from my account via Paypal. I had assumed that I would be contacted to give my card details and at that point I could say that I would not be taking out a subscription. I am devastated and am requesting a refund. I am a freelance journalist at a time when there is little work around. This is a huge sum of money to me...

I just tried one month free trial Premium Service, but after trial they charge me every month without any charging receipt sent to my email or text message. NO digital charging receipt sent to my email at all! The only email receipt they sent is the free trial month which is $0.00, why don't you keep on sending it? People have the rights to know when the seller to charge you! LinkedIn customer service just gave me a link of their own website about the charging record, why don't you send me the email of charing the same as the free charing $0.00 one? Isn't that a scam? Could the seller sell you stuff by giving you no receipt without asking you? What's your intent? LinkedIn got huge users, are you trying to evasive tax? I'm using my wife's credit card and we found it 7 months later. A LinkedIn support Hussein said can only refund 3 months, for others I can dispute with my bank. It is not true at all! The bank support said we can get most recent 3 months charge. That means the support did nothing and lied to me actually! Don't use the excuse "it's members' responsibility to cancel it", but why don't they take the responsibility of sending me the charging receipts. Because you know if I got the receipt I would cancel it. In that case, you cannot keep stealing from our credit card! LinkedIn closed all direct contact way, either online chat or phone call, I cannot believe such a company being so shamelessly.

worse, they would just try to brush you off as soon as you try to talk to them about getting a refund!

These do not believe in phones let alone solving problems. After MICROSCREW purchased this company, LinkedIn gone down faster than Baghdad after a bombing. It takes leadership to run a company, not a bunch of kids running twitter and having employees acting like subscribers.

Customer Service?? There is none. I cancelled my Premium subscription prior to the end of my trial period and they still charged my card! I NEVER used the premium features and that was the reason that I cancelled it. I have tried every way to contact them to get this resolved.
Needless to say - I'm done with LinkedIn.

i have had unknown charges come out of my credit card and its taken almost 3 months for them to tell me, i was aware of the actual charge for my monthly membership but they took and additional 117 dollars, one of there representatives hannah said another person forgot to file it correctly, asked for my information again, been another 2 weeks and still havent got back to me, extrodinary bad services.

Can't log in, old email address no longer exists and when I put current email address in, I don't receive email on how to log in.

Not stupid, and online help doesn't help. You click on a link which doesn't help. Then you answer it doesn't help and you get a response of Thank You. But you still can't get in. So you keep clicking all over the place and you end up here.
not sure this will help either.....

Not possible to contact customer service to resolve issues - the phone number doesn't accept calls the only reason for the number is to state the address and fax for LinkedIn not much for services!

The telephone number WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO MAKE CONTACT WITH A HUMAN AND THE FAX NUMBER IS CONSTANTLY BUSY. This is a SCAM; I have been charged over and over for 'premium' service and only approved a one time charge.

Hi.
I was sharing an article this morning and took the time to write a comment about before posting. Did post. Called my daughter to check it. She liked it and while we were talking about it just suddenly disappear !! She didn't see it anymore neither find it. I couldn't see it anymore in my profile or time line ! What happened ? I shared again rewrite post again ( annoying). It seems still there. The weird thing is that then I saw my daughters "like" of the first time original posting but not the posting ? Really weird.

I didn't find a way to easily report this issue from linkedin account that was open in my iPad.

I had to google on how to reach linkedin to send this feedback ( many different middle man articles showed up). I'm still not sure this is the right site. Isn't Voice of Customer this most valuable asset for any social media company like linkedin ?! Shouldn't giving you guys feedback be touch of a button on our accounts independently of the device the user is using ?

In addition, their phone number for 'Customer Service' listed leads nowhere ("... invalid phone number..").



Please let me know whether anyone else has had this experience. Since I live relatively close to the organization, I may consider visiting them, and if necessary kicking their front door in.

My experience is very bizarre. I never authorized LinkedIn to charge any credit card, nor access Paypal. I was originally attracted to their '90 day free trial' and clicked on the link,.... but when I found out that the monthly fee was $79.99 (instead of what I had thought originally was an annual fee), I closed the window. Apparently that, alone, caused my information to be transferred, and for me to 'sign up' in an unauthorized fashion.

However, it gets weirder... Although I never authorized Paypal to pay LinkedIn (since I closed the window once I found out about the annual rate), Paypal, somehow, was accessed by LinkedIn. Whenever I've removed a Credit card from the site to prevent it from charging me, Paypal automatically accesses another one. Once I removed all the credit cards, it started attacking my bank account.

Even stranger still, Linked in appears to not only have charged my available credit cards in Paypal, but also, simultaneously debited my business bank account, as statements that I received clearly show the same $79.99 debit from there each month in addition to the charges on the credit cards (anyone that is available).

I know this sounds strange,... but the only way that LinkedIn could have gotten my bankaccount, as well as my credit card information, would have been collusion with Paypal. Each transaction in Paypal to LinkedIn includes not only a transaction number but also credit card information (last 4 digits). Although my credit cards are listed, I never provided LinkedIn (or Paypal for that matter), authorization to charge any funding source. I especially did not allow Paypal (or LinkedIn) access to my business bank account number.

Is there anyone else out there interested in beginning another Class Action lawsuit on the basis of this outrageous attack on our financial well-being?

This number only allows you to get the fax or address. There is no option for a live person. I tried pressing "1", and they gave me the address and fax only. Can't get to a live person to dispute my charges. This is poor customer service for such a wonderful concept.

I like so many others thought Linked in was a FREE TRIAL! Money has been taken out of my bank without my permission. I accepted free trial assuming I will be asked before charging my credit card...Really unprofessional behavior from the site which connects corporate executives.

I like so many others thought Linked in was a FREE TRIAL! Money has been taken out of my bank without my permission. The reason I joined was to help set up my v new business...turns out the money Linked In has taken has more than halved my business income. I am really really upset about this. I just hope you realise that Linked In has been a massive set back. Sick to the stomach.

Hi, I was messaged that I can get a free subscription from linkedin and the moment I provided my credit card details the money was deducted. If it was a one month free subscription, why was the money deducted. I neither require the paid subscription from linkedin nor do I wish to pay for 22800, the one year subscription. Kindly help.
