I have emailed them several times and mentioned that I did not receive my package because the post could not find the address (which is actually a joke). They even refunded the amount I paid. In response to my emails, they just apologized and exactly copied / pasted one email and sent it to me again. Seriously? They are insulting the customer's intelligence and unfortunately, I have to say that them customer service is zero.Shame on you !!!

Absolutely awful customer service! The dress arrived damaged, and without return label included. Started returning online, but the site showed "Return label error ".
Two days sending emails to customer service, didn't get any response or help. Life chat not responding either ( waiting on chat more than one hour for assistance)

There is NO return label and the dress was substandard. Never again will I order. I also tried to contact them through email as well as their "live chat" option, which by the way, does not work.

I ordered a dress and after 5 days, I contacted LT (Lord & Taylor) for an update. My order only said payment status activated. The package wasn't shipped. I emailed LT and was told that the dress was being processed for shipping. Wow, it shouldn't take 4 to 5 days to package and mail. I waited a couple more days for an update and there wasn't any update. I "chatted" online asking why hasn't my dress shipped. This associate said it was because payment wasn't received through their system. I saw that payment status was activated on my account. My bank said LT accessed payment from my card. LT never told me there was a problem with their system until days later when I had to ask a second time. I needed this dress for a wedding. Very bad customer service. Also, it was going to take 7 days for me to receive item via ground shipping which is normal. However, this would have been a total of 5 to 8 days to packaging including days lost for this delay and another 7 days for it to arrive, totaling almost 2 weeks if not more. I'm glad I followed up instead of waiting longer for the dress to arrive. I will not be ordering again from this company. I can find the same dress from another store.

i have Returned to Sender the item purchased on line which I cancelled early the following day ( after reading reviews). The chsrge to my crrdit card sccount was immediate. The response to the cancellation was immediate leaving me to believe the item would be cancelled and my credit card charge refunded in 24/48 hours. It was not. Instead the item was shipped and zi returned item to Shipper bis UPS. I also found the ifentical dress at Macys online for more than $100 less
I am disgusted with Lord & Taylor who do not respond by chat. phone or e-mail. I am never shop there again.

I ordered a dress size 16, and received a size 10. Impossible to get a return label and all customer service numbers no longer work. Tried " chatting" and no response. This is totally a scam!

Learned a valuable lesson! I will never shop at Lord and Taylor again! Purchases a pair of shoes not realizing they are an online store only now. I immediately send the shoes back and it took 5 emails, text messages to finally get a partial refund 18 days later. They cheated me out of a few bucks but I'll chalk it up as a loss and never order from them again.

I returned a online order and received a email saying they received it 4/4/23. I still have not received a credit. You cannot call because they don't provide a phone number. They want items returned promptly but they hold onto you money way longer than needed. I still haven't received a refund. I will NEVER buy from them again.
Also, tried chatting online with someone and that was a complete waste of time. LORD & TAYLOR BETTER DO BETTER!

I placed an order for a pair of shoes for my daughter to wear for her wedding. I purchased the shoes in 3/5/2023. Today is 4/10/2023 and I still have not received my shoes. Mind you my credit card was charged.that same day!! I've sent countless emails and texts to the so-called "help desk" only to be told that they will "check on the status and let me know". This has been going on for 3 weeks!! This is ABSOLUTELY the worse customer service I have EVER received from a retailer in the US!! It's worse than ordering something directly from China!! You can't even find a phone number to talk to someone. Their "corporate" numbers are no longer in service or "our agents are currently assisting... send us an email"" I've sent 17 EMAILS!! I WISH TO GOD I WOULD HAVE READ THESE COMMENTS BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER WITH THEM!! I have no shoes and am out over $200.00!!

Will not be buying from Lord and Taylor online ever again. Can't speak to a live person. It is probably a bot servicing the public. The return process is awful. What ever you do do not buy anything even if you get suckered in by the sale. Online Lord and Taylor's SUCKS!!!

Lord and Taylor is an incompetent company. They sent me a dress and it had no packing slip or return label. I ordered online so I used this site to mail it back via UPS. They never refunded my money. contacting them by phone, email or text is a nightmare. They finally got back to me and asked why I didn't send it back using their label, WELL that is impossible since they didn't send a return label. I sent it back using UPS and tracking it. Someone signed for it and I have proof. Now they say they are sending a request to the resolution team . Waiting for their response. ugh

I had an order a while ago, before end of 2020, lordandtaylor.com issued to me the physical card, clearly marked on it lordandtaylor.com, before their Saadia Group purchased Lord & Taylor, my order #*******181, I never never never rec'd the package, and store give me this gift card, with number: xxxxxxxx 3292, right by this thanksgiving, I happen to remember I have it and try to redeem it, guess what, its not redeemable, I try to contact lordandtaylor.com, guess what, they don't have a customer service answer phone, no direct phone number to call, no live person, but only chat! And email, can you believe it, that's lordandtaylor, a hundred years old reputable company, I asked to redeem my card, and all they advise is: LORD AND TAYLOR have no option to refund the balance on the physical gift card,they changed management and they have no any contact, no any documents for previous transactions, gift cards, nothing, therefore, somebody just took that money! Will you still buy from lordandt

If I could give 0 stars I would. I returned two items in one package and it took them 6.5 weeks to refund my money for one item. For the second item they are telling me I need to send proof that I returned it. It was a $200 formal dress. Needless to say I am so upset I am sick.

I have been a Lordandtaylor store customer for over 20 years.
There was never any reason to complain about the quality of the product or service.
Lordandtaylor has always been my #1 store.
Today I ran into a problem that, by its very nature, shouldn't be a problem at all!
I have accumulated 445 points from previous purchases.
For over an hour I have been trying to redeem these points for my purchase today.
Asked for help from consultants, Help desk.
Nobody Knows Nothing!
You see, they need 24-48 hours to solve the problem!
I will lose all my items during this time as the quantity of each item is very limited!
The boundless irresponsibility of Lordandtaylor!

I ordered a dress online that I need to return and had no idea that there's not any in person stores available?!?
I can't call the company because there's not a phone number and the item needs to be returned before a certain time or I only get a store credit.
I didn't receive a pre paid label to send this back as stated in the return online company policy.
Can someone help me out, please!

I need to return a dress to lord and Taylor. when I go into the tab for returns it is telling me that the return is in process. I have not even sent the dress. Also the number that I call. on your web site is not a custom service number. I need a number to call and speak with someone so I can return the dress.

I order merchandise and I have not even received it
It have been one week and they have withdrawn funds from my bank.
I emailed them but They are telling me they are working on it.
I feel like I have been robbed. The merchandise I order was over 500.00.

I Was In The Men's Shoe Department And I Had A Employee Name Eugene Help Me Out The Whole Time. Eugene Was Very Nice And Patient And Helped Me Find The Best Shoe For Me. He Was Very Quick In Getting Me The Shoes And He Made Shoe Shopping For Me A Lot Easier!

I always shop at Lord & Taylor store in NYC. on 04/30/2016 at the Charity event, I decided to participate in this event...and it was great. Great experience at the Clarins products the sales person was great... I just went to buy make-up and I ended buying a lot!! I gave charity and I received many things..clarins' gift, flowers, Yankee tickets...and good discount!! This is what we call Give to Receive... and this case it was a good event for the Habitat for Hummanity.

I was shopping with a friend in the shoe department at the 5th Ave, NYC store where we were helped by one of the nicest salesman..Rich Usera..he was very pleasant, patient and knew the brand we were shopping for. It was a truly a great experience.

Last Thursday, 8/20, I was shopping with a friend at Lord and Taylor in West Farms Mall in Farmington, CT. We wandered into the shoe department where Stephen Michelsson was so very helpful and patient as we requested the mate to pair of shoes that were on sale. Not only was he helpful but when we discovered that I had not used my Lord and Taylor charge card, he set me up with a new card and made sure that I got the coupon discount on the shoes that I was buying.
He was cheerful and resourceful, and I want to give him "props" for his great public relations with this customer and her friend. I will definitely shop there again and hope Stephen is there.

I shopped at Lord & Taylor in Manhasset, Long Island yesterday and had a wonderful sales woman, Diana. She was extremely helpful, and made my shopping a very pleasant experience. I have only been in that store a few times but definitely look forward to going back soon because of this experience.

Faith Restored! I have been a long time L&T customer. The excellent service I was use to has diminished in recent years to the point where I have had bad experiences with staff and the store management not being helpful and in some cases ...rude and/or non-responsive. I am delighted to report that a woman by the name of Tanesha who works in Store #3 in the Woman's Department has given me hope that the L&T brand of outstanding customer service may still exist. I was searching for two items and within minutes she located them for me and processed my order. To L&T corporate...you may want to hire more associates and managers like Tanesha if you want to keep long time customers happy and returning. Thanks for your help Tanesha!

Dee Smith, shoe department at King of Prussia, PA store was extremely helpful. She did her best to try to track down a certain pair of shoes for my son, who lives in another country. She was very sweet and caring!

I ordered black chiffon slim leg pants for a wedding. I tried them on once at home with a twinset that had a thread of gold throughout. I noted some glitter particles on the pants when I took them right off. I brushed them off with my hand , then also went and got a lint brush and cleaned the pants. I sent the pants back for a refund as they were a little tight, and very static-y. I just received a box back from them with those same pants in it saying they refused to give me a refund ($76.00) because the pants were "soiled"
I sent them an email about this and they just gave me the "generic response" polite nothing reply with a phone number to call. I told them I would Never shop from them again and will burn the pants or put in goodwill before I will ever wear them. VERY POOR SERVICE. Any other store has accepted my returns. Macys, Bonton. I can't say enough good things about........

I wish to compliment the services from Lord & Taylor in Syracuse, NY.
I had purchased a gift card for a colleague. Unfortunately, she lost the gift card and asked if there was a way to track and replace the gift.
I contacted Joanne Gabriel at the L&T store at Destiny Mall for help. Joanne was very gracious, knowledgeable, and communicated with me throughout the process. I was delighted when she confirmed that L&T was able to replace the card.

I tried calling the customer service number but could not get past a product endorsement. When I did not accept the purchase offer, I was cut off. It would be nice if one could reach a human being on a phone call without having to be slammed with a purchase offer and then being cut off if you don't go along with it.

I merely wanted to give praise to employees of the Lakeforest Lord & Taylor store in Gaithersburg, MD. My 95-year-old mother-in-law and I were shopping at the mall two weekends ago and decided to see if we could find what we wanted at Lord & Taylor before giving up and going home. We had excellent service from every sales associate we encountered, from the moment we walked through the door by the cosmetics counter until we left with our purchases. The sales associate in the lingerie department was exceptionally helpful and extremely pleasant, which made the experience wonderful in light of the fact that we could not find what we wanted at the other mall stores--nor could we find sales associates without going on a hunting expedition! Lord & Taylor was such a contrast, and I wanted to let someone know about our experience.

Some days earlier, my husband also experienced the same situation when he was at Lord & Taylor, and so we feel that the employees at this particular store should be commended for being so outstanding in their availability and their pleasant, helpful approach to customer service.

Congratulations on the wonderful selection of coats and wraps that you have out for this Winter Season. Thank you for responding to my Letter of Non-Service Complaint dated September 11, 2013 from the White Flint Mall, Rockville, MD Store. I shop at Lord & Taylor very frequently and have for the past 15 years, so I was quiet upset with the horrible disrespect of non-service that I received during my last visit that words cannot truly express how I felt during that visit. I purchased some items on the 1st floor but could not get assistance yet all of the other shoppers around me was receiving service. I went to the upper level and the same thing happened. I returned my purchase and hobbled out of the store (On my one crutch).
In your letter of response, the Regional Manger did contact me via telephone. She informed me that she was sorry and inquired who the Associates that did not perform the service were. I informed her that it is on the receipt that I attached to the letter to corporate. She then informed me that she will chat with those two Associates and there was no follow-up with me.
This prompted me to want to contact Corporate of these procedures and how unfair as a Consumer it was to me. After praying about this, I went to the store and was able to speak with Manager Ms. Jackie who apologized profusely for those incidents and went to her Manager to see what else could be done. She returned with another Manager Ms. Karen who also apologized and they presented me with a $25 Gift Card. Any time something like this or similar please contact a Manager to rectify it right then is what they said to me.
Although I did not purchase my Wrap, Thank You Ms. Jackie & Ms. Karen for Wrapping your Compassion and Customer Concern around me! Being a young black handicapped female, I am so appreciative for the level of Customer Service that I received. This was what I was accustomed to receiving while shopping at Lord & Taylor. Kudos to Ms. Jackie/Ms. Karen once again!
