Stay away !! My issues have been on going since 2019 spent over 6k and from day one the floor has been bad . They promise to resolve it then fall off then resurface and give me a new representative then again no response. Again they contact me all over ask me once again I again send pictures then crickets. I'll have to spend more money to go to court. Money I do not have cause the entire floor is now lifting.

Purchased approximately 500 square feet of 3 1/4" red oak unfinished flooring. "WILL NEVER" buy that type of flooring from Lumber Liquidators ever again! The quality of the material was terrible.Installation is taking twice as long as it should, too many issues to explain with the material.Bottom line go somewhere else! :( P.S. 0 Stars!

Hello
I am Naomi Brown. I am Remodeling a house in Milledgeville, GA. I had the flooring measured and then couldn't finish the project for the lack of enough money. I had been given a quote and everything. I have the funds now so I called back the store in Byron to open the project back up. The said since the measurements were older than six months they would need to do again. I informed them that nothing had changed but the said it was protocols. I informed them that I would choose another wood if the one I originally chose was no longer available. The lady said it was and would be going on sale the following week. I told her I would choose another one if my original one took me off budget. Brad went out and did the measurements on 3/25/21. I was told the measurements were now different. How could this be and the house has not grown nor decreased. Now I am under the impression someone is trying to capitalize. This is no way to do a customer.

Very unhappy customer of the plant city Florida store number 176. We ordered our flooring materials on November 30 under customer number 430-2297. Wwe are still waiting on the bull nose strips for the steps to finish our project at home. We've been told every week for the last three weeks 1 - you don't need to call and check on it, we will call you when it's here 2 - it's in transit (been told this for 3 consecutive weeks) 3 - we have other customers who are waiting on their product too. 4 - n of n m a as anger available to take my husbands call and if they were, they would tell him the same thing. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! And we paid in full at the time of the order!!!

Went into lumber liquidators in Ocala Florida to get some more flooring like we had purchased there before, the guy was rude from the start and came over only after I said I guess nobody is going to help us he immediately told me very rudely that we had not purchased the flooring there basically calling me stupid I would've understood if it was discontinued I would've gotten some close to what we had and there was some there that was very close to what we had but he lost our business with his attitude and complete disregard for the customer we where going to spend a few thousand with lumber liquidators and we where repeat customers but after the customer service we received we will never be back and will advise others not to go there we went to Lowe's instead and got the flooring for half the price based on all the negative reviews on this site it won't be long untill they are out of business

Don't even bother to purchase flooring if you do not have a large square footage area because they do not want your business! I had an area that was 129 sq. ft. and they quoted me a price of $270 based on the install rate per sq. ft.. It took them 2 weeks and a call from me to get them to even come and measure even though I had already paid for the flooring. Then, a month later, they had not called about installing and they told me the installation rate would be a charge of $600 because that was their minimum. My response was "Why would I spend $300 on a floor and pay $600 to install? This is CRAZY!" The installer said the job would take about 3 hours to complete because I already had the trim cut to fit. How would you like to make $200 per hour for a job!

75% of installed product from Lumber Liquidators is Defective!

â?¢ July 31, 2014; we bought hardwood flooring from Lumber Liquidators in Mississauga (Ontario, Canada) the brand is ( Golden Teak Acacia Hardwood 3/4'â??) , with 30-year warranty, we based our decision to purchase the hardwood on certain samples at retail store showroom, which we examined before committing ourselves to the purchase.

â?¢ After acclimated the product at our house for more than 5 months and used a moisture barrier, which they are selling to keep our warranty valid. We also followed all manufacturer regulations and recommendations.

Unfortunately, during installation and reached of 85% of the process, we noticed there were some defecates mostly at the ends of the boards, which is more than the expected 5% range that our invoice mentioned when we bout the flooring.

â?¢ Jan 2015; We informed LL about the flooring issue and filled disclosure forms, the store manager came out to the site to view the floor and he requested to get everything on hold, acknowledged there was a defect (in this patch) of product, and the arrangements were made to ship samples and box of unopened material to the head office in Virginia, USA for inspection.

â?¢ LLâ??s acts of fraudulent concealment, using improper warranty tactics and commissioning sham inspection from INSPECT SOLUTIONS to our flooring in response to complaints in order to "mislead consumers into believing that the defect could be traced to shoddy installation," and to exonerate Lumber Liquidators from any responsibility.

â?¢ LL markets and warrants that the Product is durable and further markets and warrants that the Product has a thirty (30) year warranty. LL provided a reasonable expectation to consumers and the industry that the Product would have a usable lifetime of at least thirty (30) years. The Productâ??s various modes of failure potentially cause damage to other building components and render the Product susceptible to premature failure.

â?¢ LL did not honor its warranty and denial our claim. It's amazing to us that a company is so adamant about taking no responsibility for such a poor product (75% defect) which is marketed to be "durable" with 30 years warranty, but it seems there is no quality control had been done at all for this product before wrapping and delivery.

â?¢ We had to hire 3rd party independent inspector licensed by National Wood and Flooring Association ( NWFA), he mentioned the mill actually attempted to fuse cracks with glue and then fill them with putty, the manufacturer did this intentionally. His conclusion is (Manufacturing Defects).

â?¢ LL has been notified of its breach of written warranties and has failed to adequately cure those breaches. As a direct and proximate result of Defendantâ??s breaches of its written warranties, engaged in unlawful business practices in that Defendant represented, through its advertising, warranties and other express representations that the Product had characteristics it did not actually have. We are requiring LL to compensation for financial losses associated with the purchase of the flooring. These losses include:

â?¢ Installation costs

â?¢ Removal costs

â?¢ Loss of use

â?¢ Diminished property value

â?¢ Remediation costs

Lumber Liquidators of Norwalk CT, sent their "#1 installer" to measure. After much consideration, we decided to go with Lumber Liquidators. We explained to George, the manager, that we will not need our order until our roof is replaced. When we went down to the store to place our order, Geroge was on vacation. His #1 installer was running the store???? When we returned and found George, we explained how we want to order but cannot pick up the material until after our roof was replaced. This was in November. We ordered and paid $1982.00.
In the meantime, due to the 54" of snow that fell upon the state of Connecticut this winter, my roof could not be replaced until late mid to late February. My painter came right after then and it was only then in the beginning of March, after the painters were finished, did I have
the floor laid. My installer had 6 extra boxes out of 29 boxes purchased. Along with this extra square footage that we thought we had came the adhesive that is necessary when applying the wood to a cement floor, the molding, the liner, the thresholds, the 6 mil vapor barrier and the finger jointed ine painted white. About $800 of product that was purchased unnecessarily. When I called Norwalk, Lumber Liquidators, George back he simply said that they do not like returns but he will have his boss call me. He said that he could not give me his boss' phone number. He said he would have his boss call me. I called George 7 times. His boss never called me and George never returned my calls. I am hoping that customer care will help me or I will be writing and calling George Jepsen, CT Attorney General.

About Your Exclusive Builder
SFV LLGC, LLC

I would like to bring to your attention problems with your contractor that has been building your stores. SFV, out of Redford, MI., owned by Mitch Rosen and run by Tim Rhode, has been building all your stores across the US. This is to inform you of their business practices.
1. They do not drug test or do background checks, on their contractors, that build your stores. You found this out when 3 of their men, were caught by your manager, doing drugs on the job, in Texas. This is not their first time, with drug and alcohol problems. It's a recurring problem for them.

2. Their contractors are all W-9 employees which means they are not part of SFV. They are hired, as contractors and do not have to follow the same rules, as an employee. They carry no workman's comp. They are not controlled by SFV because they are independent contractors. Each man has to file a W-9 so they can avoid paying workman's comp.

3. They are instructed to inflate bills on change orders. These will be as high as 40%. Their demo workers are hired from craigslist and homeless shelters. They have no workers that do demo. This means you're getting very unskilled labor and a slew of on-site problems, which will affect your company. SFV, is designed to make money. They do not care about the client.

4. Tim Rhode runs the company. Mitch Rosen may own it but does not know what is going on. Tim Rhode's background is a poor one. Owning his own company in Michigan, which he drove into the ground and had to file bankruptcy in 2008. His same attitude and business skills, he has brought with him, to SFV. He continues to thrive at SFV because he makes money. He inflates all billing, brings in the worse workers and cuts all corners. The only reason "Lumber Liquidators" got involved with SFV, was because you're past construction manager, "Rob Morrison," is longtime friends with Mitch Rosen. Now Rob is at "Cannondale Bike". Though SFV, has done some stores for them. They do not get them all. They have another construction manager, which forces them to bid on the projects. This has kept them honest. They do not have exclusive rights, for a reason. They will not let them control their projects. They also know they inflate billing.

5. You could save thousands of dollars by doing the same thing. Put your projects out for bid. Do not give exclusive rights, to building, to one company alone. Trust me, you have lost 10's of thousands, this past year, giving your building to just one company, SFV. This company has built its company around you. They have made all their money off you and you alone. They do not have to be honest here. You already gave them, full run of your company which they have taken advantage of. They will continue to do so as long, as you keep letting them.

I have brought this to your attention, in hopes that this year you can put a stop to companies like this one. That you can continue to grow but save money in doing so. SFV, is ready to take a very large fall. I am hoping, that before they do, "Lumber Liquidators", is far away. Unlike SFV which has built a company in stealing from their clients. You have built a reputation to offer a product, at a fair price. You should also be able to keep continued growth, with cost savings to your stores, as well. This year take hold of your bidding process and save the money you deserve.
Regards, Anonymous.

It's sad that there is not a true Corp office number to make a complaint regarding my hardwood floors that I have being waiting on about 3 months. I have paid for the floor $5,400 and I don't even get phone call telling me my floors still haven't come in. This is not good customer service. When I placed the order for the Bellawood Brazillan Teak cumaru floors 3/8 X 3 I believe, I was told they would be in about 1 month. I am building a house and this is holding me up from closing on my house, costing me money. Is there no way I can get a rush on this? I live in Sherwood Arkansas; I purchased the wood at the Little Rock Arkansas store 6 Freeway Dr. Please HELP me.

We are very pleased, so far, with the service that we have received from Joey, in your Melbourne, Florida store and Robb, the gentleman who came out to take measurements for our new flooring. They were both very professional. We hope, after our flooring is installed next week, that we can say the same thing!
