I have a se 12 sacd player that does not want to read cds anymore, why is this? For six thousand dollars and 18 months old this is not acceptable, was supposed to be a special cd player out of Japan that was to be special.My question is what is the fix or repair for this?

I purchased a Marantz 7013 in late 2019. It cost over $2,000 dollars. It quit working 2023, I called the audio repair shops and they said before I bring it in call Marantz and see if they have any parts for repairing my model. I called and Marantz customer service told me they don't stock any parts to repair it. It's less than 4 years old. Don't buy a Marantz unless you can afford to discard it after 3-4 years because they don't stock any parts.

Extreamly bad after sales service. Giver my receiver to check sound issue. Its more than two months and the authorised service centre is yet to even open and check that. This is an issue everywhere.

Extreamly poor service in India. While the product is good but no service support in India. Any defect minor or major will land you in deep trouble. Recommend not to buy Marantz product due to extreme poor after sales sevice. I am struggling to get my Marantz receiver repaired but the Service Center in Bangalore MS AS technologies at koramangala dosent respond. Its one month that the receiver is with him and there is no progress updates.

I purchased a Marantz Professional PMD611 MKIII and I have been on the phone with them for 3 weeks. I mean calling back time and again trying to get an answer and each time I have been escalated to a specialist who knows more than they do and to this day, not one specialist has returned my call. I am working on my third call today in an attempt to get a specialist to return my call. All I need is help setting up my microphones correctly for a court reporting job I have to do. How hard can that be for a specialist?

Dear Sir,
We would like to bring it to your kind notice that we have bought Marantz SR7011 Amp in the year 2017 December month (Enclosed Invoice) from Chennai, dealer M/s Decibel.
From the date of purchase we are facing loads of issues with this system and we have spent a lot of money for service/repair. We do have other music systems which we bought a few years back but those Music systems were working fine and we didn't face any issue till date,but in the Marantz every 5 to 6 months we are facing the same problem.Very poor service from the dealers.

I bought a nr1711 from Best Buy in Paramus NJ. Set up was difficult to say the least. Finally done, connected and ready to listen. Now a month later, can't connect. Best Buy return window closed, Marantz useless.

I bought a SR6012 a little over two years ago. sometime in July 2020. I turned it and the HDMI inputs and outputs were dead. I take it to a certified repair center and they said the HDMI
board was blown out. Blown out? So I upgraded the surge suppressor to a very large MONSTER electronics M series. Two days ago the HDMI ports are once again dead. I've owned all kinds of receivers throughout the years. I've never encountered this weak and fragile. The last Marantz I'll ever buy. It pathetic

Dear Sir,
We would like to bring it to your kind notice that we have bought Marantz SR7011 Amp in the year 2017 December month (Enclosed Invoice) from Chennai, dealer M/s Decibel.
From the date of purchase we are facing loads of issues with this system and we have spent a lot of money for service/repair. For your ready references, we had enclosed below the trail mails which we had communicated to the Authorized service centers in Chennai India.
Actually, speaking in India the authorized service centre Technicians were not able to resolve the issue and they are in the mind to grab money on service and replacing the spares simply. They could give temporary solutions and are not capable of resolving the issues permanently and they don't bother about the Customer satisfaction.
In Feb 2021, we did service and spent Rs.13000/-, but within a week time again it started giving the same problem (Noisy) We had again gone back to the same authorized service centre, one technician came to resolve it, but to our surprise the display has gone after he did something. Till such time it was working fine, so it is his responsibility to repay the money which we had spent for service.Kindly arrange to refund the money which we spent on service immediately without any delay.
We dont want to go back again to the same service centre for any problem.

Customer service agents not knowledgeable regarding vintage Marantz classic equipment, such as the 2270 receiver for example. What on God's green earth happened to the knowledgeable audio guys at Marantz, who are hip to the scene regarding Marantz equipment that put this company on the map?

The Marantz support line is unavailable during advertised hours. Also, their advertised hours are FAR too short, ending at 2pm PST. That's just plain irresponsible.

I have been trying to reach them for three days and no one has picked up. I was on hold with their customer support (during open hours) for over an hour before I gave up.

Recently I logon to Live Chat at Marantz "Contact Us" page.



The person whom attended me is Michael Summers. He was unhelpful and rude. I asked about about firmware update as I'm unable to update my SR7007.



He keep insisting that there was no updates for SR7007(which is lie) and SR7007 is old set therefore it no longer has any updates(also another lie).

And since there are no bugs on SR7007, no new firmware is needed (Another lie as well).



I asked about spotify that requires firmware update for it to work, he just brushes me away by saying it only possible by using Ipod. (why this guy just keep telling lies?)



The next question I've asked is firmware update for SR7007 to support 24/192kHz gapless FLAC/ALAC from the media server, he's reply was "It supports 192 khz at 24bit, do you have a question about it?"

Before I could explain to him about the firmware is needed for my SR7007 to able to play 24/192kHz gapless FLAC and ALAC files, He disconnects.



I like Marantz products as has good quality build and high sound quality.

But I'm find it hard to purchase another Marantz product again knowing that support live chat has very bad customer service and being very rude as well.



I apologize if I sound rude at the moment but I didn't pay hard earn cash money to be rudely brushed away and receive lies from support.

I am deeply disappointed with your New Zealand Distributor. After selling Marantz as a retailer for 12 years I have finally had to change to yamaha due the the unprofessional , unplanned and unscrupulous approach of your NZ dealer ( B&W Speakers ) I dropped B&W too at the same time for the same reasons. Whilst Wildash Audio may not have sold enough to keep the agency, the Marantz name here was intact and professional, these days its a joke, to be a dealer the minimum requirement is now, can you pay for it ? and I don't care if your selling out of the boot of your car. Electricians and at the public can purchase Marantz from electrical wholesalers direct and they all do. There simply is no place for retailers anymore and that combined with B&W Speakers ( NZ ) will sell direct to the public even knowing that they are cutting out a dealer is disgraceful. Good luck because I can see your Marantz sales in NZ going downwards fast.

I do not know how people are disappointed with the service. Based on the positive experience that I have with Alex today, I'll stay with Marantz product.
Good knowledge, great assistance and am over satisfied. My issue was solved with the highest interest and kindness.

I recently had a very positive experience regarding Marantz support in initially setting up my SR 5007 AVR.
Jamar the rep, answered the phone quickly as there was no wait time. He patiently walked me through over the next 55 minutes. Everything I asked for completely resolved.
Unbelievable!
