Don't buy Miele

Don't buy from Miele, I thought they were a dependable premium brand, but they really don't care about their customers.
It is now 3 weeks since my expensive Miele Washing stopped working and was reported to Miele. It was just 14 months old.
3 times I have been given an appointment for it to be fixed under warranty and 3 times I have been told they do not have the part or that the engineer is sick.
The first appointment, a week after my initial call, I was told the engineer was sick, but he did actually come - he couldn't fix it of course - but said it was the motor and this was a known fault with this machine.
He said the part would be ordered and he would be back a week later to fix it (I also have a leak from the back of the machine which they have not addressed at all.)
Of course this did not happen as the part had not arrived. Since then I have been given the runaround, the latest is that my new appointment is next week - 4 weeks after I first called them - you cannot get to speak to anyone who can help and they don't answer their emails. Absolutely shocking.

The worse customer service ever seen. A deceiving company that sells defective products and doesn't take responsibility. Very rude managers/supervisors that don't accept to deal/talk with customers.

I would NEVER buy another Miele product. I was charged $150 for a house call, and the technician came and turned on my double wall oven, and pronounced, "yes, the temperature on your oven display is not accurate...you need to enter a higher temperature and use the convection setting". He told me, in a "superior" tone of voice, that "no oven ever has the correct temperature, and that I needed to purchase oven thermometers to put in the ovens so that I could calibrate the right temperature". I advised him I had been using ovens for over 30 years, and never had a problem before.

I am writing to voice a complaint against one of your recommended Technical Service companies- Professional Technical Services in Florida. November 2, 2020 I called Miele to request service for my coffee maker. A technician, Pedro, came and diagnosed the problem. He needed to order a part. As of today, February 17, 2021 (15 weeks later) I am finally getting a response to my numerous calls and voicemails as to the status of the part. I have been promised the part by Friday. That's the final "happy" end to this experience.
I have called Professional Technical Services, (Suzanne I believe) numerous times to find out the status of the part. She rarely answers the phone and when she does she promises a call back which has never happens. I always have to call back. I have left voicemails asking her to please call me back to no avail.
I own several Miele products and love them and have always valued the service provided. This experience has left me feeling enormously frustrated. It does not seem worthy of the Miele name. I will never use this service company again and don't think you should recommend them. I have called Suzanne every day this week with no call back from her. I finally decided to call the main customer service number and asked them to assist me. They called her directly and it took that action for her to get someone to contact me and voila! guess what? the part is in (mysteriously convenient) and Pedro will be here Friday. This has all been hugely disappointing.

Right now we are very disappointed in the customer service and billing of the Princeton, New Jersey Miele repair department. We have been very patient and spent an inordinate amount of time corresponding with them concerning a repair that had to be completed with the funds from an insurance company. It took a couple of months to follow their procedure to handle a situation such as this. The repair is finally complete and payed for. We now have use of our brand new Miele range which was installed in July 2015. It is just one more of many excellent Miele products. After all we have been through we received a new bill for almost as much as they demanded upfront in order to actually repair our range. Once again we had to spend a lot of time to clarify that we (or rather, the insurance company) doesn't owe them anything. They adjusted the bill, but still insist over $500 dollars are owed. It makes no sense considering their policy of paying all costs for parts and labor prior to the actual repair. No extra parts were ordered after they were paid in full and all labor was calculated prior to scheduling the technician to repair the range. It is our hope that they will admit they are wrongly charging us. We look forward to an invoice and email that states we owe them nothing. We will post an update as this is resolved. We are extremely disappointed.

Miele is an extremely arrogant company. They are not worth the ridiculously high price. My hood caught on fire while frying fish, was not doing anything dangerous. Miele refused to do any real investigation and keep insisting they are giving me a good deal by giving me 50% off their ridiculously high retail price.

They are really not worth the money. There are more reliable brands that are a much better deal.
