I have been a loyal Firefox user for a long time. Apparently my Firefox was updated today.
In doing so, my computer was trashed. I also have long used Thunderbird. When Firefox updated it not only trashed My Documents, My desktop and who knows what else - it also trashed Thunderbird. There were more than 1,000 archived emails which I can no longer find.
It is with great sorrow that I remove Firefox from my system because not only do I no longer trust it - I am terrified of further damage to my computer.
I would really have appreciated some sort of notification.

Mozilla Firefox gives no support whatsoever. There is no forum no advice no troubleshooting no service no one home. No one cares no one knows no information no options no addresses no names no people no responsibility no solution no referral no suggestion and no answer.
therefore there will be no future with Mozilla, Firefox and you would be best to find another browser platform.
If anyone can recommend please forward me a link as Im tired and fed up with waisting my life trying to solve problems with firefox, Thanks.Mozilla Support 4/28/13 7:37PM -
I am going back to IE as there is no support for Firefox. All I want to do is increase the font size of the icons on the toolbar and there is no one available to help me do that. So frustrating. Shame on Firefox.Anonymous 3/31/13 12:59PM

I don't know about anybody else , but I REALLY HATE not being able to talk with a real person on the PHONE about a problem with your service. Internet CHAT is USELESSAnonymous 3/24/13 7:38AM

I've had the same problem. the customer service deparment is useless since you can't connect to anyone. I've tried a dozen times and nothing connects. It's a useless serviceAnonymous 3/15/13 1:12PM

this is redundant. you have no accessible ways wto speak to anyone about your product. I have attempted to delete your program as it has given me nothing but problems and I cannot even remove it from my computer. WHY????Anonymous 2/21/13 10:48AM

I use firefox almost exclusively except when it comes to facebook, It seems that firefox and facebook do not work well together. Is that due to a contract disagreement? Currently I can see nothing on my facebook page. I must go to internet explore which I dislike. All of your work to give us a clue is of no help.
I have even updated my firefox to no avail.
I am not filling in the rating below because they do not make sense except for the Reachability but then you already know that.nana 2/15/13 8:16AM -
What do you mean when refer Mozilla Customer

Terrible company as cannot reach a human at the corporate office for help. I want to use their product but since I have no where to go for support. and the company has something to hide since there is no corp. phone number. Totally discouraged.
Cannot download their browser and everything I do that I'm instructed to do doesn't work. So now have to use a competitor and go on twitter and where ever else I can go to tell the world this company has no personal support via phone. Even to talk to a person to get directed to the correct person who can answer a simple question.
Not a good company who hides behind a computer.

Firefox does not support cookies from Netflix, but without a phone number to correct the problem I have trouble using it.jivaro99 1/1/13 12:21PM

I started using Internet In-A-Box (after bulletin boards) which became Netscape and that evolved into Mozilla.
Recently I can't open videos in Mozilla and now some photos don't load.
I've used Mozilla from the beginning, Chrome is a little odd and Internet Explorer well its windows.
I don't want to change browers, now I find out I can't even inform Mozilla of my problem. Is it some rivalry from another source, do I have a virus that only effects Mozilla?
I'm not smart enough fix the problem and I can't get help.Myke 12/24/12 5:35AM -
There IS no help offered. I have been round in circles. When clicking on icon access is blocked with Error:Name not specified in application.ini appearing in a little box. HELPAnonymous 10/24/12 6:21AM

I am very dissatisfied with Firefox. Somehow I must have updated it and it now does not work well. The fact that you have no customer support phone number is terrible.
First when I open the browser (it takes forever to do that ) I finally get to the site.
I cannot tell where to input the website address. When I finally through trial and error get to a webpage and click on the link inside the webpage, I cannot return to the previous page.
Unless I can get a reply from you I just will
uninstall Firefox.Anonymous 10/11/12 5:46PM -
The fact that I have been using firefox for many years means nothing now. The latest update has messed up so of my web pages to the point that I cannot use them. No direct customer support makes it worse. I have tried all the online help and nothing works. Guess I will say Good Bye Mozilla!Anonymous 9/29/12 11:06AM

One of your updates has just trashed my email system and I can't reenter my settings and I have lost all emails and addresses. I am angry this has happened and the timing is bad. I can not ring anyone for help and I tried to get help online and I am expected to pay for it. NOT. Up until now I have been happy with the Thunderbird and Firefox systems but no technical support stinks.Christine 8/27/12 5:00PM

I have been using Thunderbird and Firefox a long time. I feel they are the best available. However, Thunderbird has now improved itself beyond comfortable usability. I used to be a programmer so I can speak from experience. Programmers tend to love to add gadgets and features they like. We as users want an easy to use and dependable system. Thunderbird's last update really gave us a lot of junk on the screen that is not needed. I would like to know if there is a way to get the old Thunderbird back. If not, I will be moving to Evolution or one of the basic screen readers. I hate to leave Thunderbird after using it so long, but it has just improved itself too much.Mfklinux 6/10/12 3:10PM

The fact that this web browser is not only the most problematic, but the support that comes with it. no customer support? only online support? not to mention the support page never has a direct answer for the problem, overall, a waste of computer hard drive space. Very dissapointed,Anonymous 5/4/12 1:29PM

Managed to speak to a thunderbird customer agent. Spoke for about 10 mins then was being told i was being cut off. During this time time followed the instructions given, and i have now lost one of my business e-mail with potential bookings on it. Have tried to send e-mails for someone to contact me but to no avail. This is absolutely shocking. I am now having to contact a PC repair specalist to see if they can recover this e-mail address, as i desperatly need it. Tried asking the tech supportas they claim that they have 19 technicians online, whats the point if they will not answer your e-mailsAnonymous 4/18/12 1:54AM

We, too, are unhappy with Thunderbird and Mozilla. There is no good way to contact ANYONE for a support question! Makes you want to just give up on the whole process. We are having problems with Thunderbird allowing us into the email program. We wanted to try it but are giving up!Anonymous 2/6/12 10:14AM

I too, hate sites that don't give any way to contact a human. I have gone round and round on the technical support page, and still cannot get an answer. I keep getting a prompt that my version of Firefox is outdated, but it won't allow me to download z new one! Now I see it says that my version 3.6 is going away?
You guys need to get a customer support LIVE team together to answer questions by email or phone!foxhanger 1/13/12 11:16AM -
Well, now that I see all the comments on here...I now know that my experience is not unique...I can't send out any emails from Thunderbird. It keeps asking for passwords. I uploaded the new one, and it still keeps asking for passwords that I don't have. In am taking this off of my computer and will never use it again...when all you have to do is give me a telephone number or a live chat and help me resolve the issue. You people stink. You are the lowest of the low. You have wasted my time and energy this entire afternoon. Word to the wise...NEVER use Mozilla Firefox. If you ever have an issue...it will NOT be resolved by anyone at the company because you can't ever get in touch with them.Anonymous 1/3/12 6:22PM

Users desparately need a way to contact customer support. I can't find answers on your support site or anywhere else on the net to even the simplest questions, so will you please provide a phone number, or email, or chat service? It would be very much appreciated.

I have NOT been able to contact Mozilla Firefox since signing on(couple yrs ago). They say my user name/password entered are wrong-I changed my password, they "successfully" changed it according to their emails to me-still will NOT let me sign in! Have updated to their newest version, cleared cookies & cache, Nothing is helping & I STILL can NOT find a way to get in contact with anyone!(even though they have no problem contacting me through my email) If no one can help me, could someone recommend a different browser-who Cares about their members?! Thank You So Very Much For Listening!pt104 10/28/11 2:58PM

I have your Mozilla Firefox & I'm Very Disappointed! Have had it for a couple years now & receive emails all the time, yet when I try to sign in you won't let me, "user/password incorrect" I changed password & you sent me email that it was successfully changed. Yet I STILL could not sign in! Your constant pop-ups to update to the new version of firefox finally bothered me enough that I did the update-which was "successful" - STILL Can Not Sign In!!
I'm quite frustrated & to top it off, lately firefox has been crashing on quite a regular basis.
AND...you don't even have any way for me to contact you unless I clicked on a 'ask your question' box which then took me to a site that wanted $38.00 to answer me if they could! Are you kidding me? I'm having all these problems with you & you want to charge me to see if it can be fixed?!
I've never seen any place that had NO way of getting in contact with them. How in the world do help your customers if they can't get to you to ask for help? Makes no sense!
Please find a way to let me know what's going here & if you can help, or just let me know how to uninstall.
Thank You & God BlessPatti T 10/24/11 10:24PM

Mozilla's handling of issues via their bug database (bugzilla.mozilla.org) is amazing. They respond to issues with questions and attempts to assign (or mitigate) the issues very quickly. The average wait time for a first response is usually about 4 hours.
I believe they may have had a problem in the past with not responding to or fixing issues (they had less money in the past) so long standing issues may still be unfixed, but all new issues seem to get handled very quickly.Anonymous 12/4/12 12:36PM -
Compared to AOL, their internet browser is far, far ahead of AOL. They are 1st class and respond quickly to any problem with answers and help.dardan 2/9/10 12:50PM
