I Negotiated With Netspend To Accept $200 For $800 In Claims When Then I Go Pick The Money Up Its Not There Or The Number Was Wrong Or They Gave Someone Else My Number, Then They File A Claim I Wait 14days They Tell Me The Claim Was Denied When I Was Approved To Get Receive Money That Netspend Owed Me, Now Since My Claim Has Been Denied And No One Is Directing Me To Go Get My Money Now Since You Have Not Stood By Your End Of The Deal Then I Want To Go Back To The Original Amount Wich Was $600 Since Alex Garza Refused Ot Answer Her Emails Or Notify Me How And Where And When I Get My Funds Then I Want To Go Back To The Original Amount For $600 Since This Negotiation Isnt Working Out And I Should Not Be Having To Go Through Disputes For Money That I Was Already Approved To Receive..if I Cant Get My Money Today Then The Deal Off I Want The Full Amount And I Dont Mind Contacting Aaa For A Arbitration

Woke up this morning to a blocked account because we had 4 refunds from Amazon. Been with them for 10 years but will be closing this afternoon or as soon as we can get our money out. That's if the card is usable lol. Took 4 calls to get a supervisor. Could not understand anyone I spoke to.

My account has been hacked since last Monday. Someone goes in the app and add a email and phone number and order new credit cards. I have to call in and have you credit my account $25 and $3.95 daily. I specifically put in the secure messages that only my phone number should be provided for activity on my account no emails but the app keeps letting this hacker in. Every time I call customer service I am put on hold and when I provide them what's going on they answer me back as if they are reading from a script. I have been on hold for hours since Monday. My patience is then. The only reps that know what they are talking about are Patrick, Laurie and Violet. Even the supervisors are rude. Carl told me, don't talk over me. And today I don't have access to my funds because a restriction is on my account that the supervisor is unable to lift. I need to pay my bills. My balance should be $1,917. A credit of $25 and &3.95 should be applied now. I asked that my funds be transferred to my other netspend account. They are unable to take care of that today. I want $200 put in my account ending in 2371 so I can buy food. Please call me do I can elaborate clearly what is going on.

I got a NetSpend prepaid card and deposited money on it and use my own money. I had to leave my home of residence due to domestic violence and didn't think about my NetSpend card. Now 5 years later I owe them $815 and not using the card fees. I asked them to please remove the fees or at least cancel the card but no they're going to keep charging me $5.95 unless I pay them the $815. What kind of pieces of s*** would do that to anyone never mind a domestic violence victim. They just want to take your money and care nothing about anybody but themselves and their money. The fact is now I pay $815 for a piece of plastic I no longer even have and never use the dime of their money. Disgusting despicable and should not be able to do that to people that don't use the card and don't need it and continue to charge them for years and ruin their credit. Why are they not out of business because they really should be

None of my deposits are early and not processed on date. June 22pay day and still nothing. No updated statement. I'm going back to a real bank. After working in a bank, their non English employees try to make you don't know how business works. Pathway is crap

I know one thing for sure, I had a direct deposit from my job uploaded on my netspend account and now they are not letting me access my money I had activated a card from them over the phone on,06/02/23 and I am told by someone that I talk to in the app secure inbox that my hard earned money cant be used because that card is not associated with my account. I want to know how that card isn't associated with my account when your company told me that card was successfully activated and ready to use. I want my money back or there will be some thing done about it I can promise you that. I suggest you look into who you have in your employment cause they are stealing from hard working Americans.

My 14 year old son received a 20$ prepaid net spend card for his birthday. I had proof of purchase and the physical card. Had difficulty setting it up online so I called customer service and they would not cooperate with me unless my 14-year-old son gave consent over the phone. I explained it was now my card since I gave him cash for it and they still would not allow me to contribute. Would not let me register it in my name following consent, after refusing multiple times to give it to him. Did not set up card because they wanted his Social Security number.

My mother pass oct7th022.in November I call this POSbank about her..mf froze and in the same day closed her account also went frm 6h 24h 72h 7dz 10dz 30dz and 120dayz..and I have called and get raped every day to this day.and more than 90h on my phone with *ukkin* #!woof# a*s unprofessional employees.yesterday no wait in December one of them fücks confirmed gave her word that after 120dz they will be sending me a check that 120dz was completed the 6th of this month..now my a*s has there dick still hitcïng me and told me yesterday that they sent Her the check..

This company is a complete scammer now. After years with them. They close my account with no warning and said because I deposit my money on card like always have. That it is against their agreement? No one will help and they just stopped my only source of money to provide for NY 2 little boys and fiancé. I'm the sole provider and worker. It's completely false information and they have no reason to close account with no warning after being with them for years. Legal actions is what is going to be done to stop this kind of business scam.

I am very disgusted with how I was treated by the manager Zoe in costumer service. My account was hacked and unauthorized use of a card I never received. My money is continuing to be taken and I'm left with nothing. Is this how your costumers are treated.

I have been with netspend for year. But today I received the worst customer service ever. Not from just one but several customer service representatives. I will be changing my services. I hate to leave but I will not be disrespected by people who I'm doing business with about my money.

They had the nerve to cancel my card without telling me. So netSpend this is how you have $60 billion dollars by stealing from people. Well, I guess it's time you pay back all the people you stole from and it's not right. Do you think people don't keep a paper trail of what they have and what you took from them? Technology. My three kids had been given some money and they like to put it on a card so they can purchase things from online or order from restaurants. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased three cards with their money. I then proceeded home to activate the cards. I activated my nine year old daughter's card in my name, she then used it minutes later on fornite on xbox. Then my husband and I called to activate my eight year old sons card in my husband name, my husband talked to Netspend to veirify his identity they then stated they needed him to send in verification and all that. My son had put sixteen dollars on his card to also spend on his xbox, but was unable to use that same night like he wanted. So we still have not used this card I just let my son use that amount from my card. My fifteen year old daughter also tried to activate her card under her name, she had no luck in activating the card so today two weeks later I was off and had time to call Netspend Customer Service. The agent wanted to speak to my daughter to verify her identity, so she did she then asked to send in a copy of ID and utility bill remind you again I already told the agent she was fifteen. She doesn't pay bills. She then said we can send you a refund with a processing fee of $5.95. I said what you are charging her a fee for her $10.06 that is on that card. I DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone purchasing a Netspend card they are full of it. It should not be this difficult to get your own money, and ya'll are banking from the $5.95 return the money fee and the $2.94 you charge when you buy the card from the store. I also called the corporate office to complain and it pushed the option I needed and the phone disconnected. I think Netspend should be brought down for ripping people off.

I am so sick and f***en tired of every 2-3 months customer service makes me get a new card and cuts off my account before they do it so I have no choice and I'm stuck with no money been like this for about 2 years when I call they give me bunch of run around about it Every time I'm really thinking about to go somewhere else Every time I ask to speak to a manager I never get one they end up just hanging up on me. Someone from hire up want to solve this before I go somewhere else.

NetSpend cancelled my account without notice stating I was gambling through and then said we are protecting my account from fraud which there laying this company needs to be shut down I have children am supporting as a single parent

I have one of your cards that was loaded by mistake, I'm having a hard time activating this card. I've called several times trying to get it activated and what not and at one point two weeks ago I asked for my cash to be sent to me it hasn't been. I'm looking forward to trying to get my money will someone get back to me and help me with this matter I would appreciate it.

I used NetSpend virtual account to securely pay my water bill. I received email with confirm with MoneyGram ref# from NetSpend, whom they(MG) say is invalid.my water service has not gotten payment, I have sent all receipts from6/11/ pmt, email from my water services no payment. NetSpend person name Ashley has given me the run around since 6/14. Fistbpmt return, then received, then proof to it's a visa/ MasterCard issue. I have proof ofpmt I was removed off covid 19 payment plan. Someone please assist me

Your operators have messed up my account again. I was on hold for over 2 hrs luckily I have another phone. But they blocked my card again which there is no such thing it got canceled so for 5-10 business days I can't get to my money?? The operator said if you can get someone with a netspend card you can transfer funds to it so I found someone we went through that whole process and after another 1hr she says oh we can't transfer your funds until you activate your card WHAT THE F!!!!! IF I COULD ACTIVATE THE CARD THEN I DONT NEED TO TRANSFER FUNDS TO NOBODY!!! YOUR OOERATORS REALLY NEED TO GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT AND THEY WOBT TRANSFER OR TELL THE CORPORATE OFC NUMBER SO ONCE AGAIN BETTER BUSINESS BURUEA WILL BE GETTING CALLED

Your company sent my husband card to the wrong address someone used it took both of his stimulus checks that were deposited on to the act and used it. We filed a dispute and you say they was no error we had got a new card because that card was no use for 2 years . Your company is scamming people that not fair and I reposted them to the bbb. They never sent email with the evidence of way it wasn't an error. It was a won that used his card

NetSpend is very unprofessional and very rude and very inconsiderate I called NetSpend today which is June 14th approximately 12 in the afternoon about a birthday that charge my car just to verify the merchants and the representative that I spoke with from NetSpend block my phone in the process and then turned around and told me that she started yeah she block my card and she didn't understood what I said and she cannot unblock my card while I'm on vacation and all that Orlando Florida to go to SeaWorld and to allow me not to have access to my money which I lost out on the Sea World trip not only did I lose out but I'm stuck at my car and I have no food or anything and the only thing that I was told was that I apologize and it's nothing we can do this has to be the most horrible as property that I've ever dealt with to leave me at the stress and anguish sleeping at my car hungry and not having money for the lack of communication and the unprofessionalism that I experience

ello my name is shade Ogbebor i from las Vegas in live in las Vegas i had some one take unauthorize money out of account with nets pend meta bank out of Austin TX for total of $3,674.84 . Netspend blocked my card on 5/20/21 and notified me on 5/21/21 via email that there was a account issue to call the fraud department . I called the fraud department i asked what's going on what happen to my money he states there was some with draws from wells Fargo bank . I was working and they took money starting on the 5/18-5/21 before netspend blocked my account . I filed a dispute claim Number #12462595 and they told me it will take 10 days for me to get my money and i will get a response by 6/7/21 . the days comes and the come back with they didn't have error some hank my account some how and the money is mines my taxes and work check they even took that also . I read their BBB reviews and this happen to people and they have to fight to get the money back . I need help and getting my story herd and help with getting my money back due fraud . I am a single mother and trying to have funds for hard times or good times and i been with netspend since 2018 and i had my card for a year and this never happened to me and they are acting like it's not a big deal and i need to let my money go please help me . I filing a police report , i have my time card showing i was at work when my funds was being taken out of account . They even took money out in California and i am here in las Vegas and the bank doesn't find error after their investigation , i need cameras pulled and for them to prove to me i authorize this because i wasn't aware at all and i am heart broken about my money , Respective told me my case was close and can't be reopen . I had to go weeks with money . fedx lost my card they didn't want to express me card for the $25 fee was trying to make me pay when i never received the card . I asked for a manger and she assured me she will send me a card , come to find out she didn't and the rep had to send me another card and i had to wait into 6/3/21 to finally get a new card . They been so careless about my money i did dispute in the past for $20 ,120 dollars and got that back so i am only made to believe this is true theft . I cant stop crying or worrying about my hard earn money please help me get my money back .

I have had Netspend for almost a decade. They have supposedly been down for a month. They are holding my funds. They say they don't see anything on my account. They are all liars. They don't help and they don't understand a damn thing. As soon as I get my money I'm leaving Netspend. I hired an attorney because this is ridiculous stealing peoples money.

Been w/Netspend since 2015 w/o a problem. Rcvd text from Netspend 2/17/2023 purchase transaction made 1:47am for $49.99. Since I was sleep, when I woke up that morning 2/18/2023 seen their text & called ASAP that its fraudulent & don't pay since they had it as "Pending". Card blocked/new card will be sent, call in 2 business days for status. Called 3/4 business days to find out it was still paid to them on 2/20/23. Filed dispute, told wait 10 business days to investigate/money will be refuInded. 3/2/23 now told Dispute never filed & have to do it again. Need money back desperately. IF I GET MY $49.99 FINALLY BACK - WILL DEFINITELY CANCEL MY BUSINESS WITH NETSPEND FOR GOOD. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

I can be quite vocal when it comes to complaining about something I don't like, it's easy. However, when I receive great service I like to celebrate it as well.
The call I had was a "once in a lifetime" type of call. It was like speaking with an old time friend who related to me well and was able to take care of my needs as a netspend customer as well. Now I think it will be impossible for me to think of netspend without a smile on my face.
My customer service agent was kind, supportive and incredibly helpful.

Even though I had many other things to do, I just wouldn't be able to sleep without writing a review just like I told him I would.
Netspend makes me happy by paying me ahead of time. I have my money and can take care of what I need to while my co-workers are still waiting for their checks.
Also if I am in a tight spot their $10 cushion has covered me. No cost for it at all. I can go over and then it's taken back when I get my next deposit. You won't know how cool that is until you have to use it. I am so used to it that when I have $500 in my account, in my head I say I have $510--LOL! Sweet!

I won't get paid for this and I don't work for them. I am simply keeping my world.
I told my rep that I would post at least 5 reviews because I was just that "happy".
Magic doesn't happen with every person we come into contact with but sometimes it does and it's best to rave about it. If I was angry I'd probably write 10 reviews so really I am just balancing things out in the universe. I am sending out some good and it feels good. I hope everyone gets to speak with a good rep.

Tip: Sometimes when you see someone isn't going to help you/isn't nice, just end the call and call back for that perfect one. I have done that with every customer service line in the world. Also, I work in customer service and I always try to be that "person" that you are happy you reached. I will speak to you kindly and smile even if I am sad or ticked off :-) as I do everything I can to help you because I love being treated well too! Cheerio!

I currently work for this company at a mid level management level. I want to give a honest opinion on a number of issues I see on this website and the daily reports on various events that go on thru the Netspend flow of work. The business is just that, a business and the goal is to earn as much money as possible. It shows here, incorrectly trained employees and especially the supervisors who oversee the call staff that have the most interaction with the customers.They are told to always defuse the situation when a customer needs or wants to speak to a supervisor. They are also told to simply transfer the customer to another telephone rep and pretend to be a supervisor. There are certain policies in place that make this company unethical. I am not writing this in spite, or to get back at the company. I am simply writing this because the great people who use this service because of the early pay service are generally low income and need every penny, and Netspend preys on them with the exuberant rates and fees it charges. They also pay a social media (Facebook, twitter, Instagram etc) moderator 24/7 to delete or deny any post or comment that would be negative to the overall company image. If you look at back door website that rates companies and services provided I would strongly suggest what they have to say and report, because Netspend has not reached its arm to it yet.They either pay, dispute or out right sue major website/store review organizations to silence the relative truth that Netspend is a poor, misguided, harmful company that preys on people and have no intention to ever stop its predatory practices. I speak as a current mid level management official that has had enough of the inflammatory business practices it forces its subordinates to out right lie to customers as long as the bottom line is always in the positive. Yes, this might eventually hurt my livelihood but I doubt that one opinion piece of my own company will have any effect on its customer base. But if tomorrow came and the FTC came to shut it down, I would walk away relieved because I have reached my moral code meter. Please stay away from Netspend.
