I dont know how they are saying that the day. before my service comes on I'm going to tamper with my box I paid a three hundred and fifty dollar deposit,Also I cried when I got my account number so if I was gonna mess with the box I wouldnt wait till the day before its suppose to come on after almost freezing to death during that cold snap, Give me a damn break so there trying to charge me 117$ reconnect feeb

OG&E is the first and only power company I've ever experienced that requires 2 forms of state or Federal identifications (with picture and/or Social Security number) to get electric service. Why? Why do they need to have this? I had a temporary driver's license after just getting a new one and they refused it, even though it is a LEGAL ID. I had my Social Security card in a lock box in storage in another state. They refused to accept ANYTHING else that I had as proof of who I am. (Again, why do they care as long as I pay my bill?) I offered my employer...nope. I offered my banking info...nope. I offered to pay in advance...nope. I offered to let them deduct from my bank account...nope. I offered them my investment portfolio info (which only has the last 4 of my Social Security number on it)...nope. So 5 days after getting power and account (and having explained it would take a couple of weeks to get my permanent driver's license, they shut off my power when it was 30 degrees. I have a newborn baby. They don't care. Finally, one OG&E guy told me that it's so "illegal aliens" can't get electricity. That is outrageous! Not to mention stupid, as there are legal residents of this country that are not citizens and do not have driver's licenses or Social Security cards. I know, my mother-in-law is one of them. My husband is overseas and I was in an apartment that was freezing with a newborn and OG&E DID NOT CARE!

Again, their demand for ID with Social Security number on it and a driver's license is insane! It's a racist, pathetic attempt at keeping the imbecile Republicans of this state happy. It's no wonder Oklahoma ranked 50th for school quality on the WalletHub's study of our nation's schools. And look what this sorry state's schools produce!

Fix your stuff!? How many times must we loose power? Honestly ridiculous, never in my 40+ years of life have I seen service so bad I'm seriously considering moving to Arkansas or Texas at least they know how to keep their electricity up and running

Do you guys not service your lines anymore. 30 mph winds power out. Any ice even very little power out. A good business model is to service your equipment instead of collecting money, and wait for stuff to fail.

I recently used OG&E weatherization service and it was terrible. The very little that they did was done sloppily; a child could have done a better job. They pretended to seal around my windows but all they did was put a little caulking here and there; not in the cracks but on the wall and window frames, the cracks were not even filled. They made a huge mess in my house.They got caulking all over my carpet and dining room chairs, that I had to scrub out. My carpets in every room was covered in white flakes and dirt. They stapled a piece of white plastic over a hole in my wall under a sink and smeared caulking all over the inside of my cabinet. They replaced a few light bulbs with LED bulbs, which I already had. They put on their service receipt that they had sealed cracks in walls and ceiling but they did absolutely nothing to them. This program is a joke. I put in hours of work emptying out cabinets, clearing everything from windows, and cleaning up their mess for nothing. The cracks are not sealed, they left me one filter for my return air filters (I have three in my home) and a few light bulbs which I didn't even need. I called the company that was supposed to do the work (Skyline) and OG&E to complain. Skyline offered to send someone out to clean up their mess but I honestly didn't even want them back in my house, and OG&E (who I sat on hold with for over 30 minutes) was very nonchalant about the whole thing and didn't even offer to take a valid complaint. I would advise everyone not to use this service. OG&E has always been a terrible company to deal with so I probably should have known better than to deal with them but I will never make that mistake again.

OGE is the most hateful corporation ever- wait actually Oklahoma Corporation Commission is Actually Even More Hateful and Rude and Devoid of Empathy than is Best Friends OGE! DO NOT BELIEVE THE BACL OF YOUR BILL WHERE IT SAYS IF YOU HAVE A BILLING DISCREPANCY TO CALL Ok Corporation Commission... I called because I was late in a payment while admitted to the hospital and got home had received cut off notice called on Friday Aug 29th and was told by OGE no prob pay the missed payment by Monday before 5pm then call back ask for payment plan to be reinstated... I paid half on Sunday night was goin to pay the other half bout noon monday and call OGE 10am Monday my service was shut off! Called OGE immediately was on hold 2 hours then told just pay the rest $190 call back and service would be restored, hung up paid more than I was told too... called back in 10min was on hold til 445pm told OGE made payment they verified and said my new bill would now be figured into reinstated payment plan , 1st paymen to be paid 9-11 paid first payment due 9/11 on 9/8 even paid $5 extra and received cut off notice same day 9/8 for the amount I had to pay to get electricity turned back on 12 days before.... I was like hhmmmmm it was a Friday so I had to stress and worry bout it all weekend since they have No People to speak too all weekend... called Monday even tho I figured it was wrong because I also received the deferred payment agreement from the 28th and I had paid the correct amount early so must be incorrect cut off notice (right??? ) so I call OGE they try to insist the notice is because the payment due the 11th was wrong! I was like but I got the notice before the 11th??? That doesn't make sense??? Then he puts me on hold and comes back and says this is what my supervisor says I can do for you IN YOUR SITUATION! I was like huh Na no na na na na man what u mean in my situation??? It's only been 11days since you shut me off when I was supposed to have til 5pm and now I've done all things asked of me early and even paid a bit more than required and your speaking to me as if I have missed a payment. Or something... he said the payment plan has to be redone and I need to pay $104 right now???! What you mean?? Huh?? So I say why sir it was just redone on the 28th it's only the 11th and when it was redone my payment went from 77 to 137 so it's clear something significant was added what had accumulated in 11 days after a $383 payment and $140 payment that needs $104 today and more added to my plan??? Mind you in June I got a cut off notice and paid it in full so they added $500 deposit yo my account so they just got that from me too... that's near a thousand bucks in less than 3 full months plus the cut off notice I paid in full in June as well close to $600 I'm in the flat rate bill plan 224 per month and they've been paid in full every month just late there's not one month they haven't received at least that much money this year! All this is running thru my mind and I'm like 224x9mo and I'm adding up all the money I've paid just in the last few months and I wa alike whooooooaaaaa hold up! I need to talk to that supervisor somethin is not right... he put me on hold and comes back and says he said if you'll just pay the $105 today I was like No not until I can be told why I have too because I have done everything since service was discontinued 12 days ago and I kno y'all ain't turning it back on if I hadn't made correct payment that day so this makes no sense... back on hold and I get the a supervisor will call you within 24hrs which of course they didn't and in the meantime I printed every bill for 2023 and every payment they say I paid in the same timeframe and I should only owe them $80 approximately cuz i didn't figure any late fees exactly but that's about a $500 less figure then what they sayin! I over paid them like $191 in January and they send me a cut off in feb and my stupid self paid it and so on all dang year!! And that's their records I didn't even begin to go thru mine... I'm now disabled due to several serious autoimmune diseases and severe complications from adult onset type 1 diabetes but I was in tax accounting and bookkeeping for 20 years I knew every time I got a cut off it had to be wrong because my bill the same every month..But I'm sick and have more bad days than good so I'd forget and I have kids and a single mom / grandma too so always goin in 3 different directions tryin do everything always... but I was sick with the new Covid so I was home alone and Mad and once I'm mad I've got to know the exact facts especially when it comes to $$ so I way I went on the printer and adding machine calculating recalculating and tripple checks over a period of a week almost and during that time I'm getting texts from OGE with one sum and cut off threats and then more letters in the mail sayin cut off for a different sum then I downloaded their app and it said the balance due to avoid cut off was due in September of 2022!!!! So I was like they got this all messed up!! Right??? So here I am with my organized exact calculations organized in chronological order and notated on each bill month by month (because some months I may make 3 payments to pay the whole bill or cut off amount) in 16 years my service been shut off 1 time and they returned my deposit years ago... so the last 2-3 years maybe a few days late but paid monthly... it's not like I give them nothing for many months or something... okay sorry long story short I can't even get anyone who can figure out the last 12 days I figured no hope with the rest of it looked at my bill and called the Oklahoma Corporation Commission! All ready for an understanding non OGE person to listen an say wow let me check this out for you that does sound off... instead I Got Lisa OGE mouth breathing bully older sister who proceeded to cut me off before I'd even told her what my 1st issue was and then talk down to me like I'm too stupid to know hot to read my bills and understand the amounts I owed... when I assure her I am completely competent to read and understand my bill she cut me off again and said to give her my name and she'd contact OGE and look at my account... she called me back and long story short told me OGE could do whatever they wanted to me and did not have to abide by the current installment plan they had made and mailed me and that I was trash cuz I paid a couple days late and that I was WRONG FOR TBINKING occ was to help consumers and I should be thankful for the extra days OGE let me have to pay my bill! When she said this I was like mam are you looking at the installment plan letter or my bill she said my bill with the cut off notice and I was like you done have the previous plan from July or the new one they just mailed me?? She said No And I Don't Need to See Them! The person you talked too was wrong you weren't eligible for a payment plan! And I was like a mam I spoke to 3 or 4 different people on 2 different days they were all wrong??? And if so why didn't OGE say that??? Why they send all these notices and texts for different $amounts??? She said that OGE COULD DO WHATEVER THEY WANT BECAUSE I BROKE THAT PAY PLAN.... Extremely loudly and with such disgust for me... while being screamed at I noticed on the letters with the payment schedule for the install plan it said in the case of income loss or illness or unemployment renegotiation of payment plan could be considered... so when she was done humiliating me i meekly said mam it says right here that in the case of illness I was Ill and isn't this what they did consider and renegotiate my installment plan?? So shouldn't they have to stand by that?? It's not like I scammed them or tricked them into this I called asked what to do and did as I was told??? She again screamed at me how disgusting and nasty I was from having been late on bill and once again told me that OGE could do whatever they wanted to me because I don't pay my bill on time so I'm not following they rules! So unless you want to be verbally abused, batateted and humiliated I wouldn't reach out to that place for help Lisa assured me that they are not there to help consumers!!! I at one point said wow I thought this place was to help consumers... she cut me off and screamed Well Your WRONG!!! I said yes Mam I see that clearly! So yeah don't waste your time there...

I believe this company need to be investigated and employee need to know what they are talking about nd need better training especially in arguing with customers.. I started up a new account and moved in my place in April, WHY do I have a 1600 dollar light bill got assistance with 445 and just paid 720 and still have 400 to pay off I don't know how you all calculate or what is going on but dealing with you all ppl can even make a living .!!! Some people are barely making it and these light bill should be way far more affordable .!!

They don't know anything and they don't their job. Our power has been disconnected for over a week, we did whatever they said to get our parts done, and they never satisfied. They always have another reason to reject our request. Our electrician already told them it's a connection issue from OGE, but they blamed everything on us to not take the responsibility. They have a very untrustworthy, horrible service team managed by a ridiculous manager. Anyone knows how to file a complaint to the city or county?

I don't like that og and e are charging a extra deposit to people and not letting the customer know they just open their bill and BOOM 600$ they say because it's been late but then why a late fee if we are gonna get charged another deposit it's crooked and there stealing money BULL!!! I'm a pea so I know I am not gonna be able to do nothing but just letting people know it's happening!!!!!

I don't feel like they respect customers. It's not like OG&E does not know in advance about the weather. So why does it seem like power outages are frequent and take a long time to restore? On top of all of that it costs so much.

10 families here in Jones Oklahoma have been waiting since June 2 2023 for someone from oge to to return our power repairs we're completed that day it's now the 6th and still all they have to do is flip the switch.this is not good for us

My payment was late and we got a cut off notice, but we paid it before the deadline and it was never shut off, but they charged us a reconnection fee anyway. I hate that I'm forced to do business with them. Absolutely cares only about making money. Just like how they are charging everyone for THEIR money loss in a power outage even though no one had power, they are still making it out responsibility that they lost money. This company is the worst.

I think this is the worst electric company around there, constantly overcharging and adding extra deposits every year, and some people that are disabled, and other hardships should not have to pay almost a $500 deposit on top of two other deposits that were over $200 in the beginning I have always paid my bill. I didn't start paying it during the pandemic I kept going and they still reward me by adding extra deposits, and trying to cut my electric off all the time so much for being disabled. They don't care about no one but their money and they want to make sure they get more of it by constantly charging people deposit I've never had my electric shut off. I've always pay my bill. It might be late but I'll pay it so Girard me for that being late they give me a $480 deposit again.

I had called 7 mins before you guys closed. Someone answered the phone, all I needed todo was pay my bill but was having trouble. She told me she was putting me on a brief hold. Waited a whole 5 mins until yall closed then hung up. Couldn't call back because you guys had closed. I was very upset. All I needed was help.

I live on social security here in Oklahoma and I want someone to explain to me how OG&E has given its customers 5 rate increases within 1 year, I think that's ludicrous and I'm sure I'm not the only senior citizen that feels this way!!

Obviously OG&E corporate doesn't care about customer issues or they wouldn't have so many unanswered complaints listed here. You need a corporate shakeup to get rid of people who clearly do not understand customer service.

I have been trying for almost three months to get a $587 overpayment back and your inept staff continues to make the same mistakes over and over. After numerous phone calls, emails, texts a paper check was reissued, but to a three year old address. Now their saying I will have to wait another 30 days for another check to be issued. Totally ridiculous business operations.

Not Worth even a single star. Customer Service is abysmal at best. They will not help with any issues. The staff is incompetent at the most basic of tasks. The website they have dosen't function. And they carge out the ass for electricity.

Try asking how much you owe on your bill, and you get bs runaround and then they try to collect the bill for the following month as well, and say if you do pay that bill they will "Loose it" And tell you that you never paid it (Regardless of bank records)

The staff is rude and discourteous.

And frankly its a BS Monopoly because There isn't even an option for another company where I live.

Of any utility company I have ever had OG&E is the worst.

If anyone is able to go with another company, I recommend going with that company.

Was paid up on my bill but they still shut my power off, in the winter, with a 9 month old baby in my home AND I had to pay a extra 100 to get it on again. STRAIGHT UP ROBBERY!!! Do NOT use this worthless company unless you want some lady being rude to you calling you a liar about your bill and want your babies to be left in the cold for literally no damn reason!!!!!

I hope you are proud of your self my electric bill 3 times higher than the month before, we called and some talking head said we can come out and check if your meter is bad and if it's not we will charge you $130.00 for coming out. I can guarantee there is no way you would admit something was wrong. Why don't you just come out with a gun and hold me up, I would feel better

Can never get anyone to explain to me why my bill keeps going up rather than down when I pay on it and why my bill that comes in the mail said one thing and my online bill says another don't understand why they won't even give us money back if we go solar and put energy into their grid nothing but greedy people don't care if we've got kids latest pay for electric after the wildfires burn it out and made us buy the poles as Indian electric gave their customers $200 for poles the smart meters are not smart and if you review your bill online and buy mail I bet you find errors too. The meter should be optional rather than a money hungry company tell us how we have to get the only way of electric. And if you get behind on your bill they don't care yet the sheriff office gets $250000 behind and it's OK something is wrong with this company

We currently was recipient of OG&E home Weatherzation Program. We just want to say thank you and how much we appreciated the service.

We knew we needed some things done but were unable to afford at this time due to health reason and fixed income. We can't tell you how we appreciated it. Skyline Energy Solutions were very professional. Carl & Bonnie RogersP.S. I also like getting smart readings and energy useage for past week helps us watch things a little closer

The field rep for the Sapulpa area on 6-13 was perfect! Prompt, friendly and fixed all my problems before he left. It was a hot stormy weekend, and I didn't look forward to another night of no air conditioning! Thank you sir!

June 5 10:30 pm we called because our lights dimmed and then only had lights in two rooms. By 11:30 we had lights. Thank you for the great service!

I called them to raise my line because it was hanging low. They had a man in the area and it was done in less than an hour after my call. I think I got lucky.

I cannot believe these stories at all. They are all ridiculous. Does anyone actually believe these stories?? I mean paying a bill when you are not getting service..how does that even make sense??? What bill are you paying then?? And customer service reps are polite but need to be assertive when you are getting cussed out by people who make up every excuse NOT to pay their bill. OG&E gives so many opportunities to pay your bill, payment arrangements and such. But when you do NOT pay when you agree to pay, you get upset at the Electric Company?? It is like going into a restaurant, ordering your dinner and asking for a payment arrangement, or better yet, telling the waitress you do not want to pay your bill. It is too funny. Just pay your bill people. I swear it really isn't that hard if you budget. Just pay YOUR bill.
