it would be very helpful if laptop reviewers would mention EARLY ON whether screen is glossy or anti-glare (matte). Those of us into graphics editing who cannot tolerate a glossy screen, waste countless hours trying to find out this essential property in reviews.

I subscribed to PCWorld 2 days ago for the All Access Digital Edition which states a PDF version of the magazine is available for download with the subscription: Received confirmation email with link to download; Could not download because their system is moving over to ZINIO; Also, ZINIO does not provide the PDF version which is what I wanted even though the offer Ad says the PDF version is available. First email to customer service was useless, got a reply that "they would get back to me" but never did. Web link to customer service also down and no longer works. Had to GOOGLE for Customer Service telephone number; Spoke to tech support who was helpful but there's no PDF version, ZINIO no longer provides a PDF version: You must use the ZINIO READER that gets installed onto your PC or mobile device - thanks but NO THANKS. There's no reason to charge a card if the service is not available and you don't get what you actually thought you were going to get (PDF version) I cancelled my subscription. BEWARE of the SWITCH AND BAIT if you want the PDF version and the need to install their special ZINIO reader.

I recently subscribed to the digital edition to PC World. The payment has gone through to my credit card. I did not receive an acknowledgement so I have no account reference number nor do I know how to receive the magazine.

We bought an Epson XP-800 printer on line on the 23rd December and paid £4.99 for next day delivery but didn't receive it until 27th December. Havind set the printer up it wasfound to be faulty and would not print properly. I telephoned PC World nad was put through to a very helpful young man who refunded my $4.99 and advised me to take the printer to my nearest branch and they would exchange it he rang them and reserved it for me. We wnet to Darlington PC World and they had a replacement for us . We looked round the store and my husband picked a pair of earphones we went to pay for them and pick up the printer. one lady took payment for the headphones and short changed my husband £10 this was eventually resolved and we exchanged printer (so we thought) and went home anly to find thet had given us the faulty printer back, I phoned up and was put un hold for several minutes and eventually told to take it back to Darlington and fet another. We did go back to Darlington and we had to wait while another printer was brought for us. The lady said she didn't know haow it had happened but we should be ok now. Both my husband and myself are really upset by all this we have been customers of PC World for many years and have never had such dreadful service like this before.

I have paid for a digital subscription for PC World magazine and all I get is a preview from June 2012. Every other digital subscription I get has absolutely no problem delivering my issues, why do you? If this was a print subscription you would be seeing a courtroom for mail fraud. Fix this problem or refund my money. Thank you.

I was a subscriber to PC World magazine for years untill you decided to cease publication. I am, and many of my friends, are very disappointed on your decision to cease publication. I enjoy reading but not digitized magazines. It's much more relaxing and a lot less eye strain to pick up a magazine then to read a magazine on a computer or tablet.Again we are very diaappointed. I guess your forced us to find another publication to give us the same ino as PC World,

I purchasd a laptop for my niece in Dec 2011 who lives in Barnstaple, UK. I live in USA. I told them at that time I did not want monthly maintenance support, but they have continue to bill me and I cannot get them to stop. I have been in touch with my bank who is having a difficult time getting them to stop. I am not happy. I can noever get in touch with them and this is VERY frustration. Any suggestions?

I went to the PC world in Old Kent Road, because it's near my house... OMG, they were so unfriendly, rude, they didn't knew the products I was asking for (simply headphones for my phone, a VEEEERY COMMON Sony Ericsson Xperia X8), the price tags on a few products were wrong... I'll never go there anymore and I'll tell all the people I know not to go there! I work in the customer service myself, and for me the customer happiness is PARAMOUNT!

Purchased a wireless desktop, Windows, Norton Gold and wireless printer with a set of ink cartridges from pc world in January 2011. I paid pc world to install the new software as I am not that pc friendly.
Got pc home and it would not work wirelessly nor would printer but managed to connect direct to pc and it worked for a few months.
As I was moving home in May 2011 I took the chance to return all items to Beckton store, 6 weeks later after many phone calls and calling into store in person, I collected everything only to get it home and new wireless connection still did not work also printer would not work with pc.
I returned item to pc world and 2 weeks later collected and I still do not have wi-fi on pc or printer, in fact printer still has original ink cartridge hardly used because it does not work with my pc?

I will never ever again purchase from pc world they do not care even if you pay their extra charges to repair pc all they do is revert pc to factory settings every single time. We could all do this at home for free.

They even refused to text me when my item was ready for collection even though I offered to pay £5 for them to message me, being deaf and unable to use the phone didn't make one once of difference, manager was rude and shouting at me that there was no way they could send me a text message.

Now I am left with a pc which with a wi-fi connection that does not work. A printer that does not work. I can not afford to be without my pc for 6 odd weeks when I know pc world are just going to revert everything back to factory default then tell me that it has been fixed. What a waste of my £900 for just a processor and printer.

Avoid PC World--they are unethical in taking your subscription money and they will never, ever respond to your requests for help.
