(This is in reference to the store located on 19506 Katy Fwy, Houston TX)

Never coming to this store again! If I could give no stars I would.
This is the second instance that employees have been beyond rude to me.Today March 31st, 2024 at 1:15pm. I ordered a grilled cheese kids meal. It was my fault for not inspecting the meal before driving away. However I looked down and saw that it was a kids mac and cheese instead of a grilled cheese sandwich. They also failed to give me a receipt.

Realizing this I went back through the drive thru to get my correct order. I also observed what they had charged me for was more than my original order and asked if this was also going to be refunded. I was told to pull forward.

I was given my sandwich and when I asked about my refund they told me they had given me a whole sandwich". I still wanted a refund because I felt like they were the ones that messed up my order. And I was told I would have to give back the original Mac and cheese they gave me instead to which I did.

So the manager opens the window without a hello or how can I help you and says "what's the issue" I explain the issue and ask for my refund. She continues to give me the run around to which I cut her off and ask if I will be getting my refund to which she responds no answer closes the door. Rude! This is not how you treat customers that spend money with you frequently. This situation should be resolved.
Thank you.

I am posting this to discuss the lack of service at your store located in the Galleria Mt Lebanon Pa. I was there on a Saturday March 9th 2024 when the store opened at 7am I placed my order and there were four orders on the screen and the guy finally came out dressed in dirty sweat pants and a hoodie to ale my sandwich which was finally ready at 7:17am

Disappointed with the Panera in El Paso every time we go there they don't have anything. I am just ordering a salad and they don't have Romain lettuce. Try to order a flatbread pepperoni pizza they say they don't carry it at this location. It is very disappointing. how limited this Panera is I will not be returning I

What? No hot chocolate? What are those of us who don't drink coffee going to do.
Thank you for reintroducing soufflés after a sad lapse, but now that it is cold we want our hot chocolate back too.

Also thanks to the New Bern store for placing the microwave where old people can reach it and stay out of the path of coffee drinkers.

I stopped in at Panera's in Kokomo,Indiana this morning.
I was the only customer at the counter at the time. There were employees walking back and forth behind the counter. I realized they were probably busy, but no one acted like they saw me or said that they'd help me soon. It was like I wasn't there. After waiting long enough for them to have greeted me, but they didn't, I just turned and left.
I'm glad I don't know names because I'm not looking to get anyone fired. It just seems that they should be more aware of customers. After all, without customers, there would be no Panera's.

Love paneras but your crust is so tough it seems that you would have a bread with a tender crust for us people that h a very false teeth so we didn't have to throw the crust away. Thank you.

Hey Panera HQ,

I remember the niche that Panera filled when it first came to town. Beautiful environment, friendly staff and delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices.

For what it's worth, I just wanted to share that it seems like the quality of the experience has declined over the years. I have had multiple experiences where the cashiers are frazzled. They have to ask so many questions as well as manage other things, often seemingly without help. The restaurants that I've been in recently seem run down and dirty. And, although some things are still delusions a bargain for their flavor, size and freshness, other things (like the chicken noodle soup) seem institutional and small portioned for the cost.

I am only sharing this because I believe that the early year experiences I had were the Panera vision. And, I imagine that you've already been made aware of similar concerns. I just wanted you to hear from a fan in what I hope feels like a compassionate delivery because I believe that you want better.

Thanks for reading. I hope it's helpful in some way.

Wow;
I am truly forced by all that is respectful to food, to add my two cents.
If you are interested in eating heartburn on a charred bun, then go to Panera bread and order their stake and cheder sandwich. It will be one of the most agonizing meals you ever experienced.
The bread, in its pre-burnt state, is good. So, in my opinion, the owners of Panera bread should pay high praise and higher wage to these poor shmucks who stay up all night to ensure the freshest baked bread when a store opens for business. At the same time the owners of Panera bread should be arrested for the molestation of the good bread, that they allow by employees who should be hot-patching roads instead of preparing food.
On 9-21-23 at around 8 pm, I caused myself agony by eating a Panera bread sandwich, an airline sized bag of potato chips and drinking iced tee that leaves chunks at the bottom of your cup so that you and I are assured that Panera does not use concentrate.
Here is how you can experience such culinary disaster at home;
Go to Costco and purchase their fresh baked, square, Kirkland artisan roles (delish).
At home take out 2 of the roles and run a clean, sharp knife through the partially separated middle of the roles to separate the two haves completely.
Open your refrigerator and take out fresh, whole, free range, horse radish, fresh, locally purchased, Spanish onion and whatever crumbs are drying out at the bottom of the container that you use to hold deli meats and cheeses. Ensure that you have enough crumbs so that when squeezed together, they make a fist full. If you do not have enough crumbs, ask to get aged crumbs from a neighbor that you hate.
Thinly slice the fresh, locally purchased, Spanish onion in a circular pattern.
Lay out the roles, center side out, on a 300-dollar exotic-wood cutting board. Grab a fist full of the deli compartment crumbs and drop chunks of the tacky material indiscriminately on to the roles, leaving some arias covered and others not.
Throw a few slices of the Spanish onion towards the roles, attempting to get some on to the roles.
Peal the fresh, free range horse radish. Using a 50-dollar grater, grate approximately a hand full (about the same amount as the deli crumbs) and cover the slices of Spanish onion.
Using precut, industrial grade aluminum foil sheets, fold together the bun haves and unwrap. Place unwrapped sandwiches on to a 50-dollar cookie sheet pan and slide it into a preheated 450-degree Fahrenheit oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Pull out the faux Panera sandwiches, allow to cool enough so that you will not sue yourself for a burnt lip and enjoy a heart burning, hard, charred sandwich just like the ones you can get from Panera.
To fully enjoy the experience; take out 15 dollars from your wallet, tear the money up and throw it in the trash.
Now, would you not drive out of your way, at 6 dollrs a gallon, for that?

There is a Panera in Rochester that isn't as good as the two others. Why? You could improve. Why not?

I would like to thank the person who packed my bag at the Southwoods Panera. The kids on the soups were not on and when I took the bag into the nursing home my mom lives at the bag broke open and lost 25.00 worth of food on the pavement .

I just went through a drive through first time ever going through a drive through for Panera and had the worst experience my items aren't correct and I was waiting for over 20 minutes for my food even after they told me they would have to supsitute my order I could only have a cup or a bowl of French onion??? Why not both give me the bowl and whatever is left if you're really that low and give me the cup free??? I have always loved Panera but after this if I don't get a refund or a response I will be extremely upset. I feel Panera was a place I could go to and expect consistency but not anymore!!

Review for Panera Bread at 3300 City Line Ave:

I recently had an unfortunate experience with a catering order from the Panera Bread at 3300 City Line Ave. The delivery was scheduled for 7:15 AM for a corporate event. However, I was notified around the time of the delivery that they wouldn't be able to deliver, causing me inconvenience and forcing me to pick it up myself. To add insult to injury, I had to revisit the location a few days later for a refund on the delivery fee. During this process, the manager, Donnie, didn't even have the decency to meet with me personally, opting instead to send a message about waiting for an email confirmation. This is a clear example of poor customer service. I expected much better from a reputable brand like Panera Bread.

We usually eat at Panera in Burlington, wa. At least twice a week. For the last couple months any time at 6 o'clock or beyond they have No bread when we order soup. Refuse to give us any kind of bread with our soup. They had a cart full of dough waiting to be baked, but consistently tell us sorry we don't make bread after this time. The soup was off the bottom of the pot. Really gross!!

I feel so disgusted after being charged $30 for 2 sandwiches at the Fremaux Panera in Slidell, La.
I wanted a turkey BLT sandwich on baguette bread. The girl taking my order said they couldn't make it. I asked why and was told- they just couldn't.
I said in a non confrontational way I was driving to the window so they could explain why it couldn't be put on baguette.
I was met at the window by a manager that greeted me with stern frown and irritated to be bothered by customer that dared to ask for a change of bread.
The manager told me that sandwich wouldn't fit on a baguette. I should have driven off after receiving such negative treatment simply for asking for a different bread.
The cashier was a snob and with no sincerity told me to have a nice day. I asked for an itemized receipt which was not in the bag. She rolled her eyes as she produced it.
I have eaten Panera bread sandwiches for years all over the South Eastern USA and never had a bad experience.
$30 for two sandwiches.
I am so disgusted with my experience I don't even want to eat it.

I woke up this morning thinking I haven't had Panera in awhile. So I got up early and took my family. My phone had lost charge for me to make my purchase so I found a plug but also noticed that I'm being watched as if I'm a homeless women soliciting. Any way when I finally decided to get my food I got in line. The cashier walked away and the manager Sue who decides to do stock . So the cashier asked her could she assist me. Need less to say I got no service the original cashier walked off and stayed away until I walked off from the counter the manager didn't even acknowledge me as a customer. I felt a little disappointed and discriminated against because as soon as I walked off the cashier and manager went and helped the other customers. My child cried because had to leave because she was disappointed that she couldn't get breakfast. The store at 9301 Alantic Blvd Jacksonville Fl. At 8:46 am has the worst customer service and I don't think I will ever go back and dis enrolled in the sip club. And May let my friends and family and social media know as well about my experience.

My dog chewed my $25 dollar gift card up before I got to use it. I tried putting it back together. My phone or your app here won't let me show the tape up job. Can you all help me with this? I have a receipt of purchase.

Changing times! Panera has lost its luster. Many location have aging interiors showing old carpets, peeling wall paper or paint, broken or in need of replacing chairs tables and outlets. Food generally good but often over priced and shrinking portions. Seems like many "franchise" sites are worried about The"sip"club being abused so serve yourself has added layer to protect all the " massive theft of unpaid coffee and fountain drinks. Look for shrinking footprint and less dining space or hang out room for College student ,senior coffee groups and cheap business personnel who use Panera as meeting rooms and office space . Drive thru and delivery probably more profitable and less hassle to entertain the masses looking for someplace to hang out.

Unfortunately the Panera Bread located on East Main Street Spartanburg SC has a problem. Sticky dirty floors, lack of items on numerous occasions, such as bagels, lettuce, bread for sandwiches, turkey oh you get the picture. Not sure where the problem stems from lack of management or good employees or just not timely deliveries from corporate. I do know the "Nextdoor" website in Spartanburg has many complaints and may sayers. Take note because social media dictates people's eating habits

Posted by The Cousin with Door Dash

Friday 6/16/2023 picked up a door dash order and suddenly I recognized my cousin whom I haven't seen for years. She got upset when I tried to say hello. She's been incarcerated for a few years. I called the store and tried to explain to the manager but my cousin answered the phone and blasted me and threatened to call the law on me. I tried to apologize and make peace with her. I didn't know she worked at 300 Constitution Drive in Virginia Beach. The manager didn't want to talk with me. Now I promised her mother to keep an eye on her. Good luck with my cousin, Karen, she might relapse and blame me.

Your food and service are excellent. Your teas and juice drinks USED to be, not only delicious but low in sugar, calories and caffeine, Suddenly, they're supercharged with caffeine and sugar. Don't understand the dramatic shift. You used to seem so proud of the health of your drinks listing the sugar content of those compared to soda and other drinks. I used to really look forward to the exotic flavors that were low in sugar and caffeine instead of the "supercharged" drinks that you have now. So now...I just eat the meal.

The Panera Bread Company in Florence, SC should be shut down! The tables are always dirty, some of the booth vinyl seats are ripped, and this past Sunday the floor -carpet- was filthy and even sticky! Our shoes stuck to the floor! Often we're told that we can't order the strawberry salad because they're out of strawberries! My brother-in-law, who once owned the KFC and Arby franchises here said that the problem is with whoever owns these Panera franchises. I truly do not understand how anyone from management could walk into this restaurant and approve of how it looks and how things are being done. It's disgusting! Before we sat down, we had to find the table that was the least dirty! What a shame that a restaurant chain that once had such a wonderful reputation could sink to this low! Either clean it up or shut it down!

I would like to give my personal and professional view of the Panera restaurant located at 16836 W. Devonshire St. Granada Hills, Ca.
I have been a patron of this particular Panera for quite some time now and will continue to be a patron for a long time to come. My wife and I have regular dates there, and I have professional chess players come and play professional rated games many days and nights every week.
I myself am a Senior Tournament Director for US Chess, which is the governing of chess in the USA. I'm also a professional Arbiter for FIDE the governing body of professional chess in every country of the world. Therefore I am very particular where I bring my players who are all professionally rated players themselves.
I, my students, players, parents, etc., are all very happy with this particular Panera. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is always conducive to playing the best chess possible. The staff from the General manager Joel, to Destiny, Esperanza, and many others are always courteous and friendly to us, and to myself. I know professional people when I see them, and the staff at Panera are exactly the kind of persons I choose to be around. They talk and treat us like family which we all find so rewarding. Most restaurants do what they do for tips or other second rate reasons. The staff at Panera simply do it because that's what they are inside. Integrity, honesty, and sincere friendliness goes a long way in keeping customers. If you knew me and how I am you would realize the truth of my statements. You are free to contact me to get my personal information and check my credentials with US CHESS. I felt it neccessary to state how I feel about Panera and their workers.

Sincerely,

I have to give a shout out to Katie at Panera Bread In Farmington Ct. She went above and behind with my order. I ordered from Doordash just to get my order taken from me by the dasher. I immediately called Panera to make sure their was nothing wrong with my order, which their wasn't. I spoke with Katie and she took care of everything from getting me my refund and other ways to reorder which were very helpful. She was great to speak with very polite, helpful and understanding! She did a great job with my reorder and even threw in some extra items. Very pleased with her service and feel like she went above and behind to make sure I received my order!
Thank You So Much Katie at Panera Bread Farmington Ct

I was extremely pleased with the customer service today at your store in Tarpan Springs #204158
I was placing an order for my disabled friend who was in the car, unfortunately you did not have the item she wanted. I had to go out to the car to get a "revised" order. The first cashier was extremely kind and said no worries
When returning I placed my order with a different cashier and I forgot to tell her to go. The "manager" who appeared to be trying this cashier took care if it immediately with a smile even thou the order was already ready ! The cashier was Linda order # 119407 I wish I had the name of the first cashier and the manager! Please pass along my thanks to all
Thank you for your kindness and professionalism

I would just like to sing the praises for the Panera restaurant located on Patriot Highway, Fredericksburg, Va 22408. Those guys and gals work very hard to give outstanding service to their customers. They are very friendly and I cannot recall when my order through the drive in window was not right. They need a well earned raise on their paychecks!

I wanted to recommend melody at the Lebanon Panera bread location for the contest you are holding for special employees. She goes above and beyond to make you welcome and keep the restaurant neat and clean.

I was in your Catonsville, MD store on Saturday, 9-24, and received a lot of kind, and efficient help from two of the staff: Jay, and Moh, I was particularly impressed by Jay, who was amazingly patient and helpful, even though he was in the middle of walking out the door and off the clock (they was extremely busy). I am so grateful to both men. And our meal was delicious!

I've been having had a problem validating my new card.
Thanks to the 3 employees help my problem was corrected. I want to commend Aja Lapine, Sophia Dejesus, and manager Jennifer Daino-Terry. It is a pleasure to thank these ladies for their help. I would like to recommend Marlena at the Gratiot Avenue location in Roseville for a Panera award. She was super receptive to my phone call order and placed my order aside so that when I arrived everything was ready. I was a bit late in calling in a breakfast order due to a furnace service technician being at my house this morning and she was super cordial in taking my order without my telling her my wife is in Hospice care but loves your spinach artichoke soufflé. When I arrived I asked for her and she identified me by name and couldn't have been more friendly. Truly as asset to Panera

Rolando at the Pikesville/Reisterstown Panera Bread Cafe in Maryland was exemplary in providing me courteous, efficient, professional service and assistance! He is knowledgeable, resolution-oriented, and proactive. He made me feel like a valued customer unlike two of the females (one in food prep and the other at a cashier stand - she was not my cashier though thank goodnesss). Rolando is the type of personnel that increases a business' customer base and forges for a business a reputation of real decency towards and appreciation of patrons.

Thank you so much for having people line Leah Meeks in Café #4030 in Houston, Texas. She is a life saver!! We order our New Hire Orientation lunches from this location and she is wonderful. I don't know what we would do without her. We have tried other similar places but the quality is not as good and neither is the service. And Leah always is so pleasant to work with. Thank you for having people like her!!!

Thank you to Mr. Eric Taylor, Manager at the Union Avenue location in Memphis, TN. I had an unpleasant experience last week and today (Feb. 11, 2017) he corrected the situation. He gave me a call and apologized for the service on last week. It's that kind of performance that turns a client's head and it's that kind of performance that we are proud of. I had lunch on Panera Bread today and I will continue to visit the Union Avenue location because the manager's disposition was great! Thank you very much. Ms. M. Davis

I am a regular customer at the Panera on Jefferson and the freeway. I had an issue yesterday because I had came in on my way to work only to get to work and then realize that my entire order was wrong. I called and spoke to the manager. He said his name was James. Well James the manager was completely dismissive of me and I did not receive the help I expected. After work I went in and spoke to a manager named yuri. She was extremely helpful, she corrected everything and was so helpful and attentive that I even ordered dinner! To my satisfaction! She was very friendly and I the staff with her were absolutely amazing. 1 star for the morning manager but I will most definitely give this manager 5 stars! I will be continuing my business here! Thank you!

Brian Finley is a horrible GM. He is best friends with his DM Matt. I am referring to the Skibo Road Fayetteville store In North Carolina. The do the top sales and that is why no one seems to see how the GM doesn't work. Danny Matt's boss over sees 90 stores. Matt has been lazy as well and a horrible DM. The GM and DM does not care about anyone but their selves. Brian Finley is a horrible and unfair scheduler. He can not show up for his job and Matt the DM will let him.

Went to the Panera at 1109 Ogden in Naperville for an interview. The manager Janice never even bothered to show up and wouldn't answer her phone when I kept calling. She only called back 2 days later after I complained to corporate.I believe she was there and didn't come out because Im African-American.The staff kept giving conflicted stories. So she finally calls back with a lame ass excuse and apology and a promise to send some coupons as way of compensation.Guess what???The loser never did. That was 2 months ago. After driving for more than an hour to get there she could have at least had the decency to cancel.Real loser.Beware of JANICE at this location. She's a snake in the grass and a liar.
