Pinterest Customer Service and tech Support is BAD, BAD, BAD.
Impossible to get anyone on the phone, and the emails are standard scripted responses by people called "John" who barely read, write or speak English probably from somewhere in the world where labor is cheap!
verified merchant program was suspended for my brand. Pinterest refuses to tell me why, what the problem is so that I can solve it.
The Shopify Pinterest app is constantly playing up with error messages, again no support in sight!!
Absolutely crazy. Incompetent and stupid!
No solution in sight, yet the have the nerve to tell me "but it is OK to advertise with us!!??" Yes as long as they get money and can drive a bigger car they're OK, but solve problems, forget it!!

I am not happy with how pinterest took down 2 of my accounts without asking me they just deactivated it. Then they also don't even help there customers its sad.

Guys, any luck with their customer service? It's now over 2 months since I contacted Pinterest support via emails and their email to fix the issue are so vague. It seems they don't even know how and what to reply. Is there any phone assistance? It's getting worste and worste.

Pinterest won't even let me post this because it goes against there "guidelines"..... "This is the only best thing from abuse... there is no need for it but you know it happens every second of the day everyday to someone innocent and caring....and to learn from this is the only reason I'm happy it ever happened....

move on and still love life instead of hate myself and everything and everyone else please never forget your past is a lesson learned and it does not need to keep controlling your everyday life and mind, it's 2 help you become an even better kind..." tell me Pinterest.....what is wrong with me saying this??? I'm trying to HELP people not HURT them...you need to get some things straight here....to help people move on from abuse you NEED TO BE ABLE TO TALK ABOUT ABUSE not just hide it.....that's disgusting and needs to be taken into account when your "editing" what people have to say.....

Pinterest doesn't want people to contact them!! I don't use Pinterest much anymore because of their portrayal of women as only young and skinny. I am 73 and overweight but want someone to look like me so I can get decent clothing to fit me, not huge tops or dresses. They are discriminatory only showing young women in sexy outfits but the older women look frumpy.

Their customer service is a complete joke. I have been having issues with my account and have been trying to reach out for WEEKS to get a response. There have been 3 separate times where a " customer service" agent" will respond to my email, not acknowledge ANYTHING that I mentioned I need help with, and then never f/u or respond after I've explained my situation. I'm beyond frustrated with Pinterest at this point.

You have become mostly advertising. Sometimes it's hard to even see a picture. I miss the old Pinterest.

My account was suspended because they said I wasn't following community standards -- too sexually explicit photos. I tried resolving the matter with them but never got to a human being. They just kept restating their policies with no further contact. It became clear they have no interest in interacting with me.

Finally, I asked for a temporary reactivation so I could rescue some photos and then close the account for good. They refused. Bottom line is Pinterest is a big bureaucracy that doesn't want to help anybody. Their community standards are capricious, poorly explained, and unevenly enforced.

And the irony is that other social media have much better search engines.

VERY DISAPPOINTED in the recent changes in Pinterest. I used to get a large amount of website traffic from Pinterest, since the recent changes my views went from over 700k now down to 209k and dropping every single day. It seems they are trying to complete with Canva. Forget it! They will never be Canva. I'm DONE with Pinterest and I know I'm not the only one that's quitting Pinterest.

Worst experience ever there is simply no customer service Pinterest just doesn't answer my email about an issue, the first email was answered by a robot asking me to reply if I wanted to contact an agent I did so but there was no answer in a few days I sent another email there wasn't even a bot this time

Pinterest is at it again. Now, instead of "All My Pins," I have a "Shopping List," which I do NOT need and makes the site less useful to me. This is not the first time Pinterest has done something stupid, and it makes me less inclined to use it. I will have to start looking into alternatives.

Your sign up process is invasive and shallow. Good to be reminded of why I never wanted to join and avoid going to pinterest sites.

I have never been this frustrated. I can not delete my account nor can i stop the ridiculous amount of mails sent daily. I cant manage to change the old email- nor remember the password.
So in other words- there is no service concerning delete an account??????

This is absolutely unprofessional, tiring and testing. VERY FRUSTRATING. In spite of all the loops- my email still shows unchanged and i still cant manage to delete account(s)

Mine is not a customer service issue, but when ordering merchandise from and company represented by Pinterest I think they should be responsible for the contents of their customer. I ordered merchandise that was paid for and not received and I think others have a right to know not to make the same mistake. So who takes the complaint Pinterest?

Pinterest customer support is a joke. Except that it is not funny when you are a bona fide business that hopes to use the platform to advertise. Their customer service reps jerked us around for a month clueless about why Pinterest is marking our ads as SPAM. They ultimately said there was nothing they could do about it and told us to read the "troubleshooting" page on Pinterest. What a bunch of clowns. This is not a serious company for serious business.

I have used Pinterest a lot over the years for recipes and classroom ideas. Since last August I have been interested and following a tv series and it's stars. There is a good bit of old and false information about the stars. I have hid, blocked and reported this information because I don't want to see old untrue info. It's fine for a day or two then it's back?. Considering deleting my account

I am I would almost say there like a cult. They take over everything they attached themselves to. Whether it be a recipe, photo, quote, idea, craft idea. They totally take over and block you from doing anything that's not overseen by them. I cannot stand them. I would not recommend them at all. the way they take over and control what you do is almost like a cult.

My biggest complaint with Pinterest is they do not allow you to expand the pictures. Like with built models. All you get is a small picture that does not really display the detail of the kits. When you hit the expand button it most likely just to be the same size on a different page.

On Wednesday Feb. 19th 2020 my wife was looking for pictures of old railway tunnels to paint she clickedon a pictur eof a old tunnel to enlarge it and a page popped up entitled 1000 porn photographs. these were very explicit. Sjnc then she has been reluctant to open any pinterest sites.

On Jan 16th 2020, I put in a helpdesk request to Pinterest. The new business profile I had set up was all looking good, except that the button to claim my Instagram business account didn't work. Each time I tried, I got an error message that Pinterest was failing to connect to Instagram.

I was pleased to get a reasonably quick reply from the helpdesk and thought things would soon be fixed.

How wrong can you get?

When I checked to see if the Instagram connection had been made, I had a shock. The business profile wasn't there. The profile was only showing details from my personal profile.

I contacted the helpdesk and asked what was going on. No response. Next time I logged in, the entire site kept repeatedly reloading and reloading, flickering and blanking.

Over the past thirteen days the situation has deteriorated further.

Now I am utterly unable to log into my Pinterest account at all via Chrome or either of my usual platforms (iPhone and Kindle Tablet).

Despite all of this, taking video captures of the problem, explaining about the other platforms being equally blocked, the helpdesk assistant keeps repeating that there is nothing wrong with the account, that she can log in just fine, and both my personal profile and the business profile are fine.

I'm not disputing that - but I do need to get in myself.

When I pointed out that I was able to access both profiles perfectly well until I asked for help, I was effectively ignored. Apparently whatever is wrong is pure coincidence and nothing they've done.

Really? I have been using the site for 3 years with no problems at all, then all of a sudden, just after I ask for help, I can't get in. That doesn't sound at all sinister, does it?

According to the assistant the problem had to be in my browser. Really? Then why can't I log in using my iPhone or my Kindle either? However, I followed the advice, cleared my browser cache and cookies on the PC as instructed.

Today each time I try to log in, I get a message saying "Sorry, something went wrong at our end"

Pinterest is the only source of anger in my online experiences. One Inhate that when I google a subject and am forced often to open Pinterest app or google to access any information. I wouldn't mind this but I didn't want Pinterest to influence my creativity so I held off downloading the app. But I found a couple interesting subjects to I did it. My google subject is always lost somewhere between all google options on Pinterest app. I'm not an idiot concerning online apps but you cater to a high elite group of users. Nothing is easy to get to , to download what I chose as interesting , everything I find take a windy road of getting to . Constantly loose my choices or interests or google searches or even my own interests that I'm not even sure what they are or how to access them . Everything about the app is frustrating including how and where to complain !!! Ugh! So many complaints from users and sellers and I havnt even been able to get that far! I rate you very negatively compared to most other similar shopping and informative Apps. Aloha Cathe

I am getting very upset with people pins, I clicked on 6 different ones 20 minutes ago, none took me to what they were supposed to be, all were nothing but advertising. I only do Pinterest to find recipes, but it is getting harder to do so, I think I will close my account soon.

Please stop with the commercials! It's so irritating and loud. It also interrupts my music when I'm scrolling. I used to love being on Pinterest but the commercials are so annoying.

Pinterest suspended my account for sexual based content which wasn't there. I save things that pop up in their site then they say its inappropriate and suspend your account. I got an email saying they took a pin down but didnt say anything. I deleted alot of boards trying to make sure i didnt offend anyone but. Now they wony respo d to my emails

Pinterest is good, from the standpoint of being a uniquely useful service. I use it to add illustrated links & comments as a form of communicating with and teaching other members of the Pinterest system. There are frustrations, to be sure, but given only two choices in terms of my overall experience, I rate it positive.

Customer Service (member responsiveness) is low: Pinterest is terrible from the standpoint of fielding problem reports or complaints. It seems to have outgrown its staffing or something. If you can figure any sort of way to send a complaint or comment to the staff, they do not get back to you. Problems persist for lengthy periods.

Hi there, I just wanted to add my comments regarding the visual changes to Pinterest in August 2016. The aesthetic appeal has significantly diminished:

1. My boards: The main image that used to show on each board is now significantly smaller. In doing this, each board has 3 images that are virtually the same size. This seriously reduces the overall look and appeal, collectively. All of the time I spent coordinating the colours of my boards no longer matters. None of the boards look coordinated or well put together anymore. This is a serious flaw that may potentially affect the number of followers that someone receives based on the images that one scans on someone's profile. This is often very important when choosing who to follow. I have a business account as a craft and DIY blogger and building a following is incredibly important.

2. The size of the images are now enormous - this is a serious flaw. It takes much longer to scan images or scroll down the feed. As well, all the profile images of each pinner are too large and, therefore, very, very grainy. Not very appealing.

I would recommend reverting back to the old visual format.

Up to this point, I have been incredibly happy with Pinterest, but am unhappy with the changes noted above.
