I see I'm not alone in my problems with Pioneer. Can't get anyone to answer the phone. Can't get anyone to respond to an e-mail. After a month, I gave up. Horrible, horrible, horrible. The absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. Sad, this used to be such a respected name in electronics.

I bought a VSX-522-K for Christmas. Couldn't get any sound out of speakers just trying to use tuner. Went thru manual numerous times to no avail. Tried calling and continued to be put on hold for extended periods. When hit prompt it would tell me to call another phone number. When I would call that number it would tell me to call another and I just kept going in circles without ever getting a person. When I first got a person he immediately wanted to transfer me. When I tried to stop him he said he was going to hang up on me. I admit I was very upset by this time. Having a new receiver for almost a month and not getting it to operate. Finally figured out that it was the FM antenna that had a short in it. Fixing to return the unit. Will not own Pioneer again. I feel for the poor guy I talked to. Because of their horrible phone prompts which he has nothing to do with and long waits when you finally get to talk to a person you are so frustrated and upset that he gets dumped on. Sorry buddy.

Can never get through to them. I have been trying for days, sometimes leaving it on hold for 25-30 minutes. I have yet to get a live person on the phone. Never again will I buty Pioneer - no support.f

After waiting over 15 minutes to hear from customer service, the lady on the phone was rushing me off of the phone and seemed like she did not want to answer my questions regarding service and repair. She hung up on me mid-sentence.

Talk about taking the title for TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The worst experience I have ever had. My home A/V Amp stops working due to a firmware update. That's fine except it will update to 20% then flashes "update error 1"
Called customer service for the fourth day in a row with in excess of 40 minutes on hold till I gave up. Decided to send a customer support email. Two days later, no reply. Pioneer is a DEAD END !! Strongly suggest you try another electronic manufacturer. This company clearly just DOES NOT SERVICE!!

Tablet stop working in less than a year. Tablet run hot and only charge during power saving mode. When tablet is at power off mode, it will not charge. All other tablet I have that is not Pioneer, charge fine during off mode. This may contribute to the death of many Pioneer tablets. It's poor software or it's poor hardware? Who know because it's made in China. Started the return process on June 29 2015. They say a typical turn around time is 4-8 weeks. It's now Sept 04 2015. It's now past 8 weeks. Here is the kick, they will tell you some would take less and other may take longer. If you could not manage in 8 weeks and this is for a tablet and not some hi-tech complex equipment... you just fail. Either give us a replacement or give us our money back. Stop wasting our time. How about give us interest past the 8 weeks turn around time.

I sent my car receiver in for repairs and after a MONTH later, Pioneer advised they did not have the part needed to make the repair and they would have to provide me a re-furbished unit. A week later, I rec'd the unit but it did not include the mounting bracket nor the 30 pin data cable which I sent with the original unit. It has been two weeks and after numerous phone calls and several UNANSWERED e/mails, I have yet to receive the items necessary to install my refurb(new) unit. Everyone I have spoken to in customer service stated that several e/mail has been sent to the shipping department, and has indicated that they have not responded to them. They are unwilling to call the shipping department for a follow up, and will not provide contact names or extension numbers for this department. I'm completely frustrated, as it appears, as though there will be no resolution!

The Pioneer AVIC-8000 NEXT is the biggest piece of sh.t I have ever owned in my entire life! I can't get it to do anything, I haven't been able to find a car stereo shop to even touch it because of all the negative feedback and the complexity of the unit. I wasted $1400 on this unit but I gained a very valuable lesson. Pioneer sucks, Kenwood is what I will blast all over Facebook, the media and every single person I come in contact with.

I have bought the PIONEER AVH-X8500BT 21 march 2014 it worked like 3 months then problems started arising. Problem is the incompatibility with ios they never resolved the issue. What pioneer did is just faded the car radio to archived section so no support anymore 400 euro thrown away....

Customer support not replying to my request of course to say at least this pisses me of big time.....

Pioneer definitely not what it used to be...

purchased a car navigation system, fairly complex

Did not come with a user manual

Came with a user disc. Which the navigation system will not display of course.

did not have a computer in my car to play the disc so I returned the system.

Pioneer customer service is a joke. I've been having problems with my AVH-2500 DVD/radio. It resets to factory settings every week. It's a common issue with that unit and Pioneer knows about it. They want me to remove the unit from my vehicle and pay to ship it out to Cali for them to process an exchange and then send one back to me, could take up to 2 months. That means 2 months without a radio in my vehicle. I paid over $300 and have had nothing but problems. I even told them i would pay for a new one and once I receive it I will send mine to them and then refund my money and they said they can't do that......JUNK!!!

I bought a home threate on 15th mar.2014 from Reliance Digital janak puri and it is my worst experience with Pioneer whose knows for his brand name but i think they need to hire more people for their customer service because every time when i called no one respond it keeps ringing and if some body picks up the call and registered any complaint then they need to 6-7 days to visit customer address to check the issue and again 15-20 days to resolove the issue.Every time they dont have spare part ready they need to arrange it and that takes around 10-15 days.I mean rediculas even the engineer who visit at my address always give fake commitment.if pioneer doesnot understand the word commitment means and value of customer time then stop selling their products.You should understand customer value selling product is nothing if you cant give services to the customer i will suggest people not to buy any product of Pioneer they are Zero in terms of service.

Worst service ever found any where.

I made a purchase on 11/28/14, order wehen through and charged my CC. The shipping was 2 days. 3 days later i get a credit back on my card. NO call not e-mail. So I called and was told there was a problem with my card. Gave them another on 12/3/14 got a new order number. NOw 12/8/14 i call to follow up and customer service is in 2 hrs of training. Since 08:00am it's 2:30PM. Checking my cc it's still pending from 12/3/14 I see why they are loosing market share and customers. Will NEVER do business with them again.

I was told my tablet would be returned within 3-6 weeks. After 8 weeks and countless phone calls (they don't usually answer or return messages) After insisting on talking to a manager and spending over a half hour on hold I am told nothing was wrong with my tablet and I must pay $15 postage to get it back sometime next week as they only update their databases on Thursdays. That makes 9 weeks! They do not return messages and are flat out lying about my tablet being in working condition to avoid paying shipping!

I had my unit at a shop and they were waiting for pioneer to ship them a new motherboard for 2 months. Pioneer costumer service is nearly impossible to get a hold of and when you do, they give you the run around.

I am so disgusted with their service on my vsx-53 receiver I vow to never ever buy another pioneer product again.

If they weren't such a huge name they would not be in business and I feel foolish that I aparantly didn't do enough research on their costumer care.

Save yourself a headache and spend a couple hundred bucks more and get a better product. It is only a matter of tine before you will need costumer care from pioneer and it won't be pretty

I purchased a tablet through Walmart and it stopped working within 1 month. I called Walmart because I purchaded a two year replacement plan and because it was still within the first year pioneer would handle it. Pioneer received my tablet on June 6, 2014 and I still do not have it back. Each time I have called or e-mailed them, it is the same story " we are working on it and it takes an extensive process and we will notify when we r done. How the hell long does it take! I asked for a supervisor and no has called me back. Walmart won't help me either. They were happy to get me money!

I purchased a tablet for my son in March of this year by August the tablet would not turn on past the pioneer screen. Went thru hoops and ladders and back to get a return authorization for the warranty and I am still waiting for the tablet to be returned. I had to call and email several times and talk crazy to the call center agent before getting the authorization form sent. This is past a disappointing experience for me.

Pioneer Customer Service hangs up on you. Pioneer leaves you on hold for 40 minutes then hangs up on you. Pioneer customer service sucks.

The AS WL300 wireless dongle does not deliver a consistent Wi-Fi signal. I struggled with this lack of consistent wireless internet signal for 18 months.

I received NO HELP from Pioneer Customer Service. Call Pioneer, Wait, Hang-up on me. Repeat.

Finally the manager at the MODIA - Plano IT department installed an Apple Airplay Extender instead of the horrible AS WL300 dongle. I now have streaming wireless connection from the VSX-60 AVR. OMG

When I reached the long beach office i was told that i will not be able to speak to anyone in their office regarding marketing and public relations matters. I asked for a supervisor who would be able to help me only to have the Pioneer representative hang up the phone on me.
