Mine will be quick, I purchased a game by accident and didn't download any content. I was told by PSN via email that I would receive a full refund. That never happened, they lied to me and I never got my money back. I tried to return the game the next day and never downloaded any content. Their return policy is phony and I'm so disappointed in them.

PlayStation support is the most unreliable horrible customer service I have ever had to deal with. Been trying to get ahold of them for OVER TWO WEEKS. I have tried reaching out to them multiple ways every single day multiple times a day. I can never get through to anyone. 0/10

Horrendous customer service. It takes hours to even try to get connected to an agent and once you do they are not helpful at all.

I woke up early don't could contact PlayStation Support via live chat. Live chat opens an hour before the phones do.

I only have a few relatively simple questions about a return I started but haven't sent off yet. The live chat agent tells me that's the wrong department for returns.

...

Is that not PLAYSTATION SUPPORT???

I'm told to call the phone number. The same one that opens an hour later. The same one that quickly gets SO clogged and tied up with multiple calls that the system HANGS UP ON YOU after saying "We're experiencing a high call volume, please try again later".

Sony. All that money you make. WHY WOULD YOU NOT HAVE THE SAME RESOURCES ON MORE THAN ONE SUPPORT PLATFORMS? I should be able to get the SAME help on live chat as I do the phones, especially since BOTH are often clogged to the point of being unable to get help ANYWAY!!!

They charge us an arm and a leg for these overpriced machines that break ANYWAY, and they can't even be bothered to make sure we get the help we need to fix the issue we didn't even cause.

I was sent a defective PS5. I never even got to use it. U don't even know what the PS5 menu looks like. I paid almost $700 for this limited edition Spidey console. Thanks for the HORRIBLE first experience with any PS5. I couldn't get the original because of price gouchers, and now this.

I have been trying to get in touch with someone for days, I keep getting this message, "I'm sorry, it seems we're experiencing high wait times for our Support Agents at this time; in order to more effectively assist you please try again later." At this point, the refund I'm trying to process will expire according to their return policy and I'm going to be stuck with a $70 charge that was not meant to be purchased.

The online chat support is absolute garbage. After waiting almost an hour in a queue line.... the "support" rep wouldn't even reset my password after providing all the stupid verification info he asked me for! Sony/Playstation might as well f*ckin literally do away with this sorry ass excuse for a customer support option too. It's absolutely disgraceful that a multibillion dollar conglomerate like them would invest next to NOTHING to provide even adequate support for their millions of paying customers. Pathetic...

My worst experience with online support. I waited 7 hours. For 4 rounds. Everytime I had 300 people in front of me.

1st I didn't reply in time (30seconds)
2nd the chat had a bug and I couldn't see the Text part of the chat anymore
3rd I refreshed the page

They charged my card on the weekend and it didn't go through, their support doesn't have access on the weekends so I couldn't even do anything and they cancelled my order. I literally couldn't do anything or contact them, they just cancelled it after one attempt. Chat support takes forever and they couldn't even help just out right cancelled it.

Worse customer service EVERRRRRRR!!! I tried to get a refund so I could use my discount but the system did not work! I had to get it escalated just for them to wait until it's 14 day policy passes, so they can refuse the refund! Scammers!!! Chat was up to 500 in line waiting on agent. I called and it hung up on me and said try later. I finally spoke with them but my discount was expired! I took screenshots and everything but they can't do anything. They never know anything! Terrible company under Sony! I don't know how to report a complaint or anything! Where is the corporate expert team members that can override things? Nowhere! They robbed me!!! Still haven't refunded me even though it was under 14 days! They lie lie lie!!! Zero star it is for me!

Playstation customer service IS HORRIBLE my account was suspended because my Bank didn't recognize the transaction with me switching accounts, So 3months go by no email,no letter or even a phone call to let there customers know anything??? So I called up Playstation for a resolution and SPENT 2 1/2HRS in there line getting transferred lied to got sent 4-5links about egift cards bought them to pay the balance off and after purchase the egift cards don't work? both reps WERE COMPLETELY CLUESS ABOUT a resolution both of them even told me that THERE OWN LINK WAS DIFFICULT ? I did it in all but 30sec??? ♂️ so I asked for a supervisor AND HE HAD THE NERVE TO BE RUDE AND WRONG ASF AND EVEN MORE CLUELESS THEN HIS REPS ?? ♂️ DEFINITELY NEEDS MORE product and customer training!!! And still no resolution guess I'll go PC or Xbox.

It's genuinely crazy how hard it is to even get in touch with anyone. I've sat in their virtual queue for hours waiting on the 400+ long line of people "in front of me" several times only to be disconnected when it's finally "my turn" to be transferred to an agent. Not to mention the nonsense captcha system - god help you if you get the stupid dice puzzle and you're stuck sitting around adding up a bunch of dice to match some stupid number - even though I have 2FA turned on already. Had my PS5 stolen during a breakin and I Had some obvious concerns about account access and making sure I had the correct SN for the police report - but it'd be easier getting the POTUS on the phone than it is getting a chat or email from these people. When I get a new console, it definitely isn't going to be from Sony.

For The Love Of God What Is Wrong With You? My Account Was Hacked. The Hacker Changed My Sign-in Id. Then Proceeded To Help Themsleves To My Wallet. We Stopped Payment Because It Was Not Us. It Took Me A Solid Week To Even Get Through To Anyone In Sony. The N, When I Finally Get My Account Back In My Name You Suspend Me? I Cant Anymore With This Company. I Should Sue You For Poor Business Practices, Security Breach And Over All Undue Stress Via The Worst Malfeasance Ive Ever Experienced.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced my sons head phones stop working that he got for Christmas. Because I don't have the original receipt it's a problem I have sent them a copy of the receipt from games stop along with the customer order number and tracking number from game stop but because the receipt does not say game stop it's a big problem I will never shop Sony again man ridiculous don't wanna money back just replace his headphones.

My ps+ subscription doesn't end for another 2 days. It's August 15, 2023. It ends on the 17th. I feel angry cause it kicked me off of my game at 10pm. Which is past the time you can call Playstation representatives. Yet I can still add monthly games to my library. Wtf, fix your *poop*(won't let me swear) or tell me how to fix this I'm mad. May I also add, you're a big *butt* corporation, make your support number avaliable 24/7, don't you have people in different time zones that can take late calls. The audacity to kick people off their game after hours and tell them to renew it with TWO WHOLE DAYS left.

Don't expect for your problems to be solved even if you are able to provide all of the information that they ask for. Would be better off going to Xbox than deal with them.

From the purchase of my PS4 to all the games and content I have bought over the years, I have spent around $3000 with Sony. I've never had any issues with them until a subscription was showing as inactive on Minecraft. Unable to access the content and being told the subscription was "inactive," I assumed the subscription expired and purchased another. This allowed me to access the realms content again. But for the past two months, I have been getting charged for the original subscription that was supposedly "inactive" AND the new subscription. A measly 16 dollars, but nonetheless 16 dollars I didnt need to spend and only spent because of a technical issue on their end.

Getting through to customer service was a nightmare in general, something expected from big corporations that want to make it as hard as possible for their customers to be heard and have their issues attended to and hopefully resolved. The chat made me wait for an hour to get to an agent, but then the chat crashed IMMEDIATELY after they became available.

I managed to find a number and called it. After politely and respectfully voicing my issue and how I had bought the same subscription twice because the first one stopped working and appeared to be inactive, they NEVER ONCE acknowledged the issue and just kept regurgitating the company policy "we can only issue refunds within 14 days from the initial purchase"

Seeing how the original subscription was over a year ago, that's not getting any refunds. But the second subscription, which again I was forced to buy to re-access the content I was paying for with the first subscription, was over a month ago. Clearly I wouldnt have bought the second subscription if the first was working. But they refused to do anything about this.

Its pretty awful that Sony has these types of agents who wont even make a measly 16 dollar accommodation to a customer who has spent thousands, for an error on THEIR COMPANY'S end... unfortunately this one issue will lead to me never spending another dime with ANYTHING Sony. Theyve lost ALL potential for many thousands more of my dollars, and a loyal customer since I was a child saving up my allowance for PS2 games...

A very sad end, all because of a stupid policy that doesnt take into account errors from Sony, and two service agents who refused to make this right

I am getting the run around from this disgusting company name sony. I used my Dad's credit card to pay for new year of ps plus. I forgot to tell my dad I was using his card and he thought someone was committing fraud and so he canceled it and sony got chsrgeback so they suspended my account. I fixed the situation by paying them for chargeback with gift cards and all was well for a month. Until they sent an email saying I was suspended again for a second chargeback. On the same credit card, the same credit card that was canceled after the first chargeback. Been on the phone with them for three weeks now. Last time I was on the phone with them they told me to call the bank and figure it out. Low and be hold bank says there was no second chargeback. So sony is outright committing fraud. They stole my 60 dollars and locked me out of my ability to use my ps5 online. Now I can't get a hold of them for the last 4 days to let them no they are full of $h!t. What happened to sony they used to be such a great company. I don't trust them anymore. It feels like im dealing with scam artist. And I'm not the only one who has this chargeback issue. I'm so disgusted with them. I think I'm just gonna sell my playstation and invest in a gaming pc.
