I called for a lockout service, the original wait time was 59-97 minutes. I kept getting updates that the services was getting closer. After an hour, the update stated that the service would be arriving soon. This message continued for another 45 minutes. I started a text conversation with RSA, she didn't respond to my text but did call. She proceeds to tell me that the estimated time is 60 minutes. When I asked why, she claims that the driver did not update his status. So unprofessional!!

Claim adjuster has given us the run around and refuses to pay our diminished value . Terrible service this needs to be escalated to corporate asap

Safeco has very poor customer service and refuses to correct their mistakes. Got called yesterday for non payment of a prepaid year of home owners insurance paid during home closing. After a clerical error on their part they issued me a refund of someone else's money. I had called the company immediately on receipt of the check and told that it was an overpayment to check with my escrow account to see if it was a mistake on my mortgage company. I called again after to correct a policy mistake and paid a policy increase. Not at one single point did a person pick up the phone and say excuse me mam but we have made a huge mistake and we need you to return some money that we shouldn't have sent you. Instead they take the money put in by the titling company at a formal closing and pay the other person's bill. Now I've been charged with a cancellation with a gap and will incur more financial fees from the bank. Not cool considering I agreed to return the mistaken money even though it was their mistake. All that I asked for was to make the policy as it should have been but they have refused.

This company scammed us on 7 months of homeowners insurance on a house we sold. We have multiple calls to the agent with no return calls. They owe us 7 months of insurance rates that we paid. They should all be incarcerated for their illegal practices.

Do not use this insurance company!! We had water damage to our home and lost the function of our kitchen and family room. We have been without a resolution to our claim for over 6 months!! Our claim rep has changed multiple times and Safeco has put their own interests above their insureds. Even though we have provided multiple restoration bids, they are unwilling to pay the cost to repair the damage. Try raising a family without a kitchen or family room for half a year!! We are beyond frustrated.

I was happy with Safeco Insurance CO. I was not happy with my agent in Jonesboro, AR. I was insuring a financed Auto and the agent knew that. They failed to insure my vehicle with full coverage and I was unaware of this until I needed to file a claim. After I corrected my lack of coverage, I tried on three different times to speak with my agent and the owner of the brokerage. I did not get a phone call in return and was not able to speak with Joseph Bailey. I guess they just did not want my business. I have since canceled both my homeowners and auto insurance with Safeco. Sorry, I had to go.

I'm am very disappointed with Safeco. I'm not with Safeco, but I have to deal with Safeco because of an accident that happened in April this year. Juliet is the Claims Adjuster on the claim, but instead of making solving the claim, she making it harder. I have asked for a Police Report and she refused. I believe since I was involved in the car accident that you're insured caused I should not have to pay $18.00 to get a copy of the Police Report and I am still waiting. This is not right.

I was very disappointed that Safeco treated me so poorly after I fractured my neck sternum and back in car accident which I was not at fault. My adjuster kept denying my injury fracture c7 and sternum till I gave him written proof. This is funny since they pay Hospital stay. I received no offer for compensation for pain and suffering. It took a year just to get moving and I have long lasting pain which doctor confirms result of fracture neck. I did get a settlement from insurance of man that cause accident. But Safeco can't even offer something. A dollar would of been better than nothing. They showed no concern for my well being. They spent more time trying to prove I was lying about my injuries The adjuster was a young man who only care about his bonus. But money is more important than being fair. I only wish my adjuster spent nearly four months in neck brace and is told that not consider pain and suffering Safeco has taught their staff well. Insurance is about making money and not helping people.

I was in a major car accident. Broke my neck sternum and back. I felt they try to make less of my injuries so they did not have to pay any pain and suffering under the under insure policy. They offered me nothing I found that very wrong. I did get a settlement from insurer who covered the person that caused accident. I went to arbitration. Day before they offer me 3000 dollars. I would have taken that earlier but I went for the arbitration and took my chances. I lost. During COVID I did my own physical therapy. Can google and am a nurse. I saved them money doing so. I will never play golf again. To bad I was not Tiger Woods. Safeco probably give him millions for pain and suffering. Money goes to money. They will no longer be my insurance company. They made me feel very bad about myself but that's their job. You be in your coffin and they be standing there arguing you not dead not to pay out. I just wanted to know they knew I was hurt and hopefully I get better. I wish I did. My life is forever change due to pain and suffering

I just had my SAFECO insured vehicle towed . I had to ride in tow truck. A few minutes into trip to tire store I noticed that the driver, Donovan Fillippo, of Patriot Towing in Vancouver, WA, was not wearing a mask. I saw a blue surgical mask in the visor. I asked him to put on a mask. He would not, said he does not wear them. I told him to roll down windows. He rolled them about three inches .For the rest of the journey I sat in silence, facing the window, seething. Then I noticed the right wing talk radio airing. I called Patriot Towing when I got to the tire store and complained. I was informed that the company drivers are not required to wear masks and can exercise their right to not wear one. The name Patriot Towing should have been a giveaway. I called the Safeco number associated with it "Urgently" towing to complain about Safeco having towing contracts with a company that may be killing its customers, certainly causing high risk customers like me great anxiety as I wait to see if I develop symptoms. Of course I was masked but sitting next to an unmasked driver is harrowing. I urge you to review your towing contracts and mandate that any tow truck that comes to assist Safeco customers has a masked driver. The contract with Patriot should be terminated. It is a company of deniers. For each call the initial employee said she would get a supervisor to speak to me. On the first call I waited 15 minutes for the supervisor. For the second call I waited 22 minutes and hung up. It was obvious no supervisor would ever appear. I am furious. Fix this.

My car was damaged 10/19 and here it is 11/16 and I have not herd a word from Safeco as to what is going to be done about my damage car. I'm driving around with broken wheels and bubbled tires and no one will get back with me to let me know what or when I'll get my car fixed. I am not a Safeco customer, the person who hit me was.

I purchased a vehicle oct 2015 and your safeco agent failed to add this to my policy. After an accident they informed me that I didn't have insurance. They would not pay for damages but I still had to back pay to oct 2015... Not a good way to do business. I will be removing my 4 vehicles and home insurance to a company that can follow through with accurate service... Very very upset with safeco, will make sure to share my experience with all.

I work in the industry and had an at fault accident. Today I called and couldn't get a live person. I tried 4 different adjusters all straight to VM. Even when I tried to press 0 it just went back to VM. I called back to your customer service depart. She was very nice but couldn't help me but said she would try to get me to a live person. She tried for 15 minutes including instant messages to people. For 15 she apologized about not being able to help me. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILL BE SURE TO TELL ANYONE THAT WILL LISTEN! Since I work in the industry I know how busy it gets and don't usually get upset. However it is pathetique that in an entire company not one person could take a call. I looked up the company rating on yelp and couldn't believe that you got 2 out of 5. You don't deserve 1. I thought that your company didn't answer phone calls from other insurance companies but now I know you don't discriminate. The service is awful no matter who you are!

I got hit on April 25th by a Safeco insured. I have been trying since then to reach the adjustor they gave me. This insurance is horrible!!

yes I agree this company is crap concidering I payed 152.00 my first yea my second year I payed 164.00 and now I'm at like 170.00 and that's because they raise their rates and added a 5dollar service fee to "Process my paperless bill"? what in the what/.... makes no sense I thought companies were supposed to lower your rate if you never been in an accident ever or had tickets and pay ontime or early??? I guess they got their sh*t a** backwards the way I see it . BUT I MIGHT BE BLIND WHO KNOWS .. PFFFT. AND THEY SAY BUT SIR BLAH BLAH BLAH ITS CHEAPER BLAH " WELL BLAH THIS AND THAT BECASUE YOU LOST A CUSTOMER/. YOU CAN GO BLOW SOMEONE ELSES "O" RING OUT THEIR BUT NOT MINE.

Horrible Insurance took 2 weeks to get a rental car and a month after the incident I still don't know anything. They never answer the phone you left a message and send emails they call you back once when you can't come to the phone and when you call back all you get is a message

The Customer Service works very bad: I called 4 times and ask to send me an other adjuster but never had any answers. The first adjuster when seen the wet spot on the my master bedroom ceiling after the big heals told me: 'Just paint and forgot!" The roof is bad a half of the duplex has submitted to replace it but Safeco sent me a letter: 'We're unable to pay you because the deductible is $2000". How to fix a half of the Building? SAFECO is know; they are liked to charge money only!

I don't like the fact that when I start out with a cheater Policy then I get my policy next bill it's expensive and unreasonable. And very unfair. And I'm not satisfied with your service. The customer service is horrible disrespectful people on the phone center.

After cancelling our Safeco Ins. (which had been pd. in full) they sent us an "After the fact chg." It is like the company/agent is trying to scrape what they can out of an individual. We had been with this agent for many many many years and with Safeco since 1975, with very very very few claims. BEWARE before signing up with this company!!!

What customer service? Filed claim on Dec 22 2011 as of April 12 2012 still have not had a sewer back-up in house corrected. Good luck on your next claim. Also why go through the process of getting bids for the job when you tell the contractor what you our going to pay for the claim. Claims adjustor told me what you would pay on the claim and the contractor cut his bid by $7000 dollars on a $14000 bid. So I should except it, would you Jim

Very unprofessional and impossible to reach on a customer service level. Complete and utter crooks. I was billed incorrectly AND never provided proof of my insurance.

Someone hit our car in a parking lot and fled the scene. From the moment we contacted Safeco to file our claim we were treated almost like royalty. They took care of absolutely everything needed to get our car repaired and we were pleased with the entire experience.
