I called on 1-27 @ 20:50 hrs. The service line was on speaker with so much noise and background noise that I could not even communicate with the customer service rep. so I hung up.

The Safeway on Homestead and Kiely in Santa Clara,CA has the rudest staff. Today when I went to the store and waited in line for customer service, there was a family in front of me with 3 children that had been waiting patiently already, I asked the nearest cashier if she could call for help again. She was very rude and said the manager could see us on the camera and would come out when he was ready. I have already faced several issues with this store from recycling to wrong pricing and each time these folks get plain rude. There are other customers around at the time and they just don't seem to care.

Please reach out to this store and try and correct the situation. If the people don't want to be there then they should stay home or find another job that makes them happy.

I would like to commend one person on this staff who has tried to overcome theses Negative Nellies and that's Troy. He is the most patient and kind person on the whole staff.

I chatted with customer service agent named Rosalie regarding my fail-to-apply coupon, due to my recent relocation I couldn't use the store credit she offers within 1 month, was trying to see if there is other compensation options, she just said no and rudely left the conversation, even worse she didn't even finish sending my the store credit she was talking. So plainly wasted my time contacting Safeway customer service.

Wodonga store a complete disappointment shelves poorly stacked and the meat department is trash i will be shopping at a local butcher from now i resent travelling a 130km round trip to shop at a garbage dump you sjouldbe ashamed at this outlet

Management at our local Safeway makes you feel as though you are but the utmost inconvenience. Especially if you're dealing with them on the phone and they can't see your face. Shopping at Safeway is a nightmare, picking up groceries at Safeway is also a nightmare because the poor pickup and go kids are under strict some. A heavy thumb that belongs to the poor management. The management at our store likes to think that they're above all when dealing with issues and there's no other way but their way. Calling Safeway to get help from corporate has become just as bad. Their websites are not functioning properly and taking your money even though you're not able to place an order. You're not going to tell you that, at least not the first time you call. They're not going to mention it on the website when you're trying to place your order over and over and over again. All the while not realizing that your card is being charged even though it says it's declining it. Safely is not going to refund you your money right away either. If they do it all. And when they do it might be a little chunks. 99 cents here, $1.15 there. The customer service Representatives they're going to tell you that they understanding and how they are so sorry. But they don't understand and you know the sincerity just isn't there. They're like robots, and it's too bad that they're not trying to be a little bit more compassionate or at least convincing. Your entire food stamp card drained due to their malfunctioning website. Their malfunctioning website has been going on for quite some time now but they don't feel the need to represent that online. I took three Representatives before someone finally told me that it had just been going on for a while. I was told for a week to just give it 24 to 48 hours. But it happened repeatedly so I just stopped after 6 days of trying. My card was charged even when I wasn't even online placing an order with them. They refunded that quickly but the charges that occurred while I was trying to place an order. Still waiting on those ones. Still waiting on the refund for an order that I was told I couldn't pick up. They wouldn't let me pick it up, they haven't refunded me and I lost out on my promotional savings as well. When you're disabled, and you cannot drive, you cannot walk around a store, so I guess you're screwed right. No Safeway, because I have to figure out a way to get into the store and get food don't I. Because my kids have to eat. Won't pause fresh pass,yet it's unavailable to EBT now.

Disheartening the ONLY worker I see at the Alamo store DOES NOT speak enough English to say where ice cream toppings/sauce is located. I don't speak Chinese nor should I have to. I hope the English speakers are getting paid more than the flotsam in your store. BTW I AM LEGALLY DIABLED awaiting surgery so I can walk.

Your 15th avenue store is so filthy in parking lot and where you enter the building from the homeless people I don't even want to shop there any more. You need to clean the doors and the concrete it's disgusting! Do something!!!

I was at Safeway in Green Valley on Duval Mine Rd. I was at self checkout as the stores are pushing. Less employees more profits. I understand workers need a living wage. But, I find it's easier to get help at Walmart than at this store. The Spanish person didn't want to help at all just kept saying do it this way etc. When I needed item removed. I told her exactly that Walmart employees at checkout do not act like it's a burden to help...you pay more and least friendliest...will stick with Walmart.

While shopping at the Safeway store in Petaluma on McDowell St.the line was backed up there was only one lane open and the cashier was going as fast as she could. There was another lady just standing there so I went up to her and asked if she was open and she stated no she was not and asked her name which was Amber and then she took off and ran into the office while the line got longer and longer. This lady Amber was very rude to me and was not helpful at all... something has to be done... she should not talk to that way to your customers and if I need to I will contact the headquarters about this.
When I cashed out I asked the cashier who Amber was and was informed she was the Person in Charge which made it even worse.
I hope you understand that if you don't have customers you don't have a store.
Please take care of this problem.

My son had a breakthrough coved infection. Has been vaccinated fully. Doctor sent prescription to Safeway pharmacy in Cameron park. We were wearing masks and following separation protocols when the pharmacist announced we had coved and had to wait outside. Complete lack of professionalism and embarrassing to be announced in front of several waiting customers.
I'm dropping them and finding a new pharmacy.
We waited a half hour and gave up , the heat was uncomfortably . Two hours later a get call as if we were still waiting outside .. announcing we has cived in C front of waiting customers is unlawful. Do something to correct this

Safeway, clean up your damn parking lot at the Hillcrest/Deer Valley Antioch store!. Spoken with management numerous times and they didn't care about my concerns as a customer or resident of the community. While you're at it, add those Barriers where you have to scan your receipt before leaving. Too many thefts and stop locking up your crap. Fix the damn problem!!!!

Long time customer must now use phone app for gas credits that doesn't work at Chevron gas to redeem the discount. Will shop at Fry's where I can use my card for food and gas discounts without a phone app. Very disappointed in Safeway

I go into get a few items and the sign says digital only. I do not have a cell phone. So I ask if he can input for me, says no and walks away. At king soopers the employees have something to scan and I get the "digital" price. Anyway you have lost a customer. Pretty sad the way seniors are treated.

Have a complaint about an associate at Safeway located on Woodcreek Oaks Blvd in Roseville, CA. I visited the store around 7:00 PM on Friday , July 7th 2023 . While at the store I decided to buy lottery . The lottery dispenser was out of order with a sign advising to buy lottery at customer service desk . The gentleman at the desk was talking to someone and I asked him for lottery. He flatly refused saying that the customer service counter was closed. Then he proceeded to say that they closed early tonight . I had a feeling that he showed utter disregard to customer service and his job . Not very happy about Customer service at Safeway.

The deli at the Vallejo store on Admiral Callahan Lane is the pits. Twice they've gotten my order wrong. Tonite I stood in line for about 20 minutes only to find they didn't have what I went there to get for dinner. But they didn't even ask what I wanted. They were just going to hand me a bucket of chicken. When I told them I just want 2 chicken breasts they said they didn't have any today.They never asked me what I wanted. They just let me wait for absolutely nothing.
Also most of the time when I go there, there's only one person helping customers & it takes forever. When it's time for the worker's break, they close the whole deli. I've never seen such a poorly managed department.

Folsom blvd Rancho Cordova Safeway restrooms are deplorable. Dry fesses on the floors and stall walls and floor. 2 of 4 stall commodes were not working and plugged with fesses in the commodes. Dried sticky matter on the floor and sinks are black for lack of cleaning. Absolutely unsafe and hazardous ⚠️. Please help this store to render immediate maintenance to their restrooms. You'll not see me in this store until this has been rectified. My hope is this isn't corporates standard business practice. Very distraught customer.

I shop for the fresh baked bread. Several times only bread in the bakery dept. was only available as 1 and 2 day old breads. Why are you selling day old bakery rolls at the full price?

Silverdale store is going down hill rapidly. Chicken in the deli was obviously burnt yet the store manager left it in the case for sale. Manager had agreed that it wasn't good but sold it anyway. Selection of Hagen Daz ice cream is very limited. Store is dirty. The new Winco store has better prices, selection, and is clean. Winco chicken was much better and lhas a lower every day price . Silverdale store wouldn't make a corsage without day's wait for an order. Bremerton store made a corsage on request. We've been loyal customers for 35 years but now we'll shop elsewhere. If we do go into the Silverdale it will only be out of respect for the checker Alison.

Website is useless when attempting to schedule an appointment.
Does not state local Safeway although they told me there are appointments available there for COVID vaccines.
When I tried to schedule in another town, I finished and answered all questions correctly. Site would not let me continue although I met all requirements .
Called customer service and explained the problem. Was transferred to a mail order dept that was closed.
Unusually poor service from multiple areas. Definitely do NOT recommend Safeway.

I normally work late and by 9 pm most specials are gone, Today I went at 5 pm and Safeway was out of the meat they advertise they have two more days of the special in my experience 9 times out of then they dont have what they advertise today they did not offer to get more product out or a rain check they just said they are out (mind you last time Safeway gave me a raincheck it took a federal case the cashier took 20 minutes to figure out how to save 50 cents a pound, not worth my time. Their app is broken. Wrong items delivered. Delivery delayed one whole day. On hold with customer service for almost an hour about a refund to my EBT account. Was supposed to get a call back confirming the $82 refund. NO CALL BACK RECEIVED. Truly deplorable service.

12/01/2023 @ 13:51 was my receipt date. I was shopping at Store number 1094 In Springfield, Oregon. Cashier was Kim W on my receipt reference # is 875137470700.

I write to compliment Kim. I was in line behind an elderly woman who was struggling to pay for all her items with cash and a lot of change. Kim was so patient and reassuring to the woman who appeared to be a bit embarrassed for being so slow. I was so very impressed by how Kim engaged the woman, had patience and assisted the woman counting the change.

I left the store with a happy heart.

I really like Safeway BUT your restrooms in the Ephrata,WA. Branch are filthy. You need to remodel to new ones. There is no hope for what's left in your restrooms. Falling apart, dirty, not dirty but filthy behind and on the bottom of the toilets and in general gross! And we avoid one of your cashiers, she rude, mean and nasty. I don't know her name. But she looks to be oriental with straight shoulder length hair somewhat.

I would like to compliment safeway in keizer oregon very professional employees always helpful polite. They have the best deli employees are quick service. About 6 months ago I could not say the same for one guy who worked there was so rude ? but on the positive side the rest are great their chicken is the BEST I hope it stays ❤️ that way!! prices are great just please do not over cook and were happy campers. We super appreciate ? keizer oregon safeway! Please keep up the great job.

I love the Safeway on Ken Pratt in Longmont, Colorado. Kat was particularly helpful today when I was having difficulty finding something. She noticed me looking at the signs listing the items on each aisle and asked right away if she could help me find something, without waiting for me to ask! I found her again in another section of the store and asked her again where something was and she took me right to it. She's VERY friendly, so helpful and a wonderful addition to the store.

I use the pharmacy at the store in Lakeport, California. I am so happy to finally found a great place to get my meds. The crew there are real pros and they should be acknowledged for their attention to detail and their kind responsiveness to their clients.

I have always received top rate service from St. John's Store in North Portland. From the Deli to the Cashiers. Special shot out to Kesha who is efficient and one of the fastest cashiers, she went out of her way to help me get the most efficient use of my Safeway App and Isaish who refunded my savings.

Good day to all,
This has been a long time coming, but I'm glad I waited. You have an employee in one of your stores in Sherwood Oregon I would like to comment about. This employee is absolutely amazing and the story starts from over a year ago, when you had those horrible hot days. I live in Colorado, but my parents live in Sherwood. My parents one day used the drive up department at the store and a sweet lady came out with their groceries. My dad had broken his wrist and felt bad he couldn't help with loading everything. So clueing in on that she said she would be right back and she ended up following them home to unload their car. It didn't stop there. She brought them a couple cooler fans, and still to this day pops in and sees if they need anything. She's brought by flowers and birthday cakes for them, along with little treats. She has become family and it has put me at ease that someone cares enough to check on them with me being so far away. I know she's had a rough go lately with cancer, but that didn't stop her from checking on them. Rondi is a very special person who has a huge heart and so much love she has shared. You truly have a diamond. Thank you for your time.

I would like to comment on the cashier at the 2666 Safeway store located at Centerpiece in Greeley, CO. Scott was the cashier and he always greets customers with a greeting and a smile. He also has a good sense of humor and is very efficient. I always try to get in line at his register. I was last there on 11/06/22 at 14:14. My REF is 251438149630.

So excited to post this review of my local Safeway store 1804. In spite of the rising food costs and other stuff in general, I wanted to take the opportunity to recognize store associate Nahif. He is AWESOME! If A+ customer service were a person, he would be it. He goes out of his way to go above and beyond in ensuring customer satisfaction. He's so upbeat and pleasant to interact with and genuinely cares about your experience in the store. He greets you and his attitude always demonstrates that he's there to work and get things done. I have consistently great experiences with him and a few of his colleagues and look forward to being assisted by them. I will admit that I'm disappointed if he/they're not there and it instantly annoys me. LOL Thank you Nahif for your service and great attitude!

Kudos to my Safeway delivery team. This week my bananas were short as I requested, but quite ripe. We would need to be sure to eat them in a timely manner. Much to my surprise, the next day, I received a refund for them. Apparently, a lovely Safeway employee noticed and submitted a refund request. THAT is customer care, folks! I believe it is the Safeway at Sunset Mall.

I want to let Safeway managment know that Eddie, didn't get a last name but he works in the meat department at the Safeway on McClintock and Elliott in Tempe Arizona. He was very very helpful and extremely polite. I wanted to make beef jerky, he helped me pick out meat and even sliced it to my desire. I tried to tip him 20 dollars and he refused it. I've been to many grocery stores and every time I have asked to have meat sliced, most of them refuse to do it. I really hope the management at this location recognizes him for his awesome work ethic!! Thank you for all your help Eddie.

I wanted to thank 2 safeway employees who were so helpful to me . They stopped there work to find me a product that was not on the shelf yet. They work in the backery . The store number is 1680 in silverdale washington. The date of service is 9 -17-17 there names are ROSE AND RYAN . NICE TO HAVE PEOPLE GO OUT OF THERE WAY. THERE GREAT PART OF YOUR ORGANIZATION

My daughter (Veronica Bombino) works for you at the Johson Blvd. story in South Lake Tahoe. Yesterday she was pushed twice by a homeless person who was sleeping in the setting area. He called her the "C" word. There was not one manager there to back her, I fear for her life. It seems that the homeless people can steal, sleep and god knows what at this store. If anything happens to my daughter while she is on the store's property, I will really raise some hell. Where are the managers (male or female) to back up the staff, no security either. Yes, she ask him to leave, after he pushed her twice she did call the police. They could not find him. So now we worry about him waiting outside to hurt her. Please let me know that you will be addressing this issue. I usually do not get involved but now that she was man handled, I will be worried everyday.

A few months again, I had also applied to 3 customer service jobs at area Safeways. Again...no response.

However, this is not why you lost my business. A bit of advice...remember that your JOB APPLICANTS are also many times your CUSTOMERS. And all job applicants should be treat with respect and at least acknowledged. Safeway appears to do neither.

Again...shame on you for being so rude and uncaring.

Recently I Was Fired From Safeway For Mentioning The Cc Fraud And Abuses Against My Daughter And Myself Being Committed Inside The Safeway Store While I Was On The Clock. My Coworker Was A Middle Aged African American Woman, Heavy Set, Loud, Rude, Moody And Mouthy With Everyone. I Made A Comment (not Mentioning Names And What I Knew About The Fraud) And A Couple Days Later I Was Fired Just In Time To Deny Me My Union Status. Manager Of Starbucks Was Also Constantly Changing My Schedule And Then Reprimanding Me Like I Was A Little Child And Blaming Me For Not Being There When She Did This.

I Thought Safeway Was Out Of The Picture And Over With, History, Yesterday I Was Rat A Government Office In Golden And Mentioned To A Customer Service Rep That Safeway Was The Worst Job Experience I Had Ever Had In My Life And I Have Lived Life For A While.

Safeway Must Have Gotten Wind Of That Conversation Because: Today I Called By Cell Phone A Local Cell Phone Service Carrier Asking If I Could Use A Certain Phone That I Owned And That I Would Like To Receive Their Monthly Service

***i Went To The Cell Phone Carrier's Location And The Young Woman Was Very Pleasant.\

****but Get This, The African American Coworker I Just Mentioned As Having Defrauded Myself And My Daughter At Safeway Golden Co ***was At The Counter With 2 Phones And Having Them Check A Sim In One Of Them ***i Thought She Had My Daughteer's Cell Phone (stolen Yet Again) ***this Safeway Employee Would Not Leave So I Could Have My Privacy (***i Knew That This Was Not A Cooincidence) And That She Knew I Complained About Safeway The Day Before And That She Had Stolen My Daughter's Cell Phone Out Of Retaliation (this Would Mean That They Would Have Taken My Daughter Into This Store To Harm And Rob Her Against Her Will As They Had When I Worked At Safeway Previously)

**i Wrote A Note The Customer Service Rep And She Checked Our Names To See If There Were Cell Phone Accounts In Our Names With This Company. (neither My Daughter Nor Myself Have Accounts With This Company) ***sure Enough!!! She Acknowldeged That This Safeway Employee Was Defrauding Us, Impersonating And That There Are Fraudulent Accounts Taken Out By This Safeway Employee ***so There You Have It!!!
