We have a Sharp fridge. It stopped being cold. Called our normal electrician that same night and was told now the repair must go through Sharp Malaysia. Immediately called hotline, no answer. And this Sharp hotline is following office hours and work week. So our fridge is not working over the weekend and upon calling on Mon, we are told that a technician will call within 2 days. The irony is, an independent electrician answers our call even at night and could have repaired the fridge. But with Sharp's control over technical repairs, we have to wait days to report the problem and days to get setvice.
SO WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH ALL THE FOODSTUFF IN THE FRIDGE THAT REQUIRES REFRIGERATION UNTIL SHARP PERSONNEL DEIGNS IT WITHIN THEIR SCHEDULE TO ARRANGE AN APPOINTMENT (this means it may be several days later if we can't get an immediate appointment)

I dont consider this good customer support.

Will never buy another sharp product.bought TV end of April 2016 and on sept 28th 2017 it went black never came back on.Called sharp and best buy no help at all.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to get my Sharp microwave replaced/repaired but after sending it away three times it is still not working properly.
The appliance is less than 2 years old but, unlike other companies who offer a 2 year guarantee for microwaves, Sharp only offer 1 year. They don't respond to my emails or complaints and I am at a loss about what to do next.
Will never buy sharp appliance again.

Teck seemed not to have heard of this problem..when I looked on reviews there was a carbon copy of my problem. She was to connect me to customer relations?? But it took too long to connect. I had prior appointment and will call again tomorrow to try to resolve problem to my satisfaction.

I recently bought a Sharp microwave oven and find it unsatisfactory in many ways. The readout is hard to see. You have to punch down from full power instead of directly putting in the level you want. The turntable rotator is flimsy, won't stay in place and so food often is not rotating. The light does not come on when the door is open and so you have no light in there when cleaning it. Also, there is no setting for warming baked goods. Considering these issues, I would say your engineers need to go back to the drawing board.

I don't mean to sound rude "BUT" The model & serial numbers are on the back of the TV - It is mounted. My husband & I am disabled & my husband is a disabled Veteran. We can not remove that TV to get the model or Serial number.
This procedure you keep requiring is really getting annoying. This is the second time for the same TV. We bought the TV brand new - It wasn't even a year old yet & it went out on us. I sent everything you required of me. We had to go out & purchase another TV until we got this replacement from you. I never even looked at the paperwork or I would have been really irate with Sharp TV. When it arrived it was mounted again. I now see that they sent me a refurbished TV to replace my new TV.
Now we are having trouble again the this TV - you have the pictures of what the TV is doing now.
I know we have a file with you with different case numbers. You need to look at all the paper work you have for me. You should have the model & serial number because you sent it to us as a replacement for the new one. In less than 1.5 years two (2) TV's have gone out on us. What is the problem with Sharp????? Not only did it inconvenience us & we had to get another TV until this one came back & now we are having to do it all over again.
I'm sorry but, this is very upsetting to us.
I need to have this rectified by Sharp TV. This is not the way to handle customers that buy your products.

We bought a Sharp dishwasher after excellent service on a micro wave. The dishwasher broke down after 2 months, we waited 10 days for a repair man - then over 4 more weeks for the repair engineer from North West Appliances to come and fix - but he couldn't fix despite changing the water flow meter and ciruit board. We have been given so many broken promises by Sharp that we would hear back - only once did they ring to say the engineer had the parts - but we had to wait another 3 weeks for him, and then no fix!

Sharp response is dismal, I have little confidence in the firm and would advise against their products on our experience.

i own a sharp wshing maching and have been trying its repair for last 4 months.. registered by complaint several times as was told everytime that its not registered earlier..Spoke to Mr Varun De and a lady officer Vaisakhi Seth in Kolkata branch on respectively on various occassions but to no avail. my last two complaint numbers are but when spoke today to kolkata on, again i was told that there is no complaint. i am actually surprised as to how the complaint gets settled without being actually settled on ground. ...with regards

I purchased Sharp tv and the main board went out. They informed me that I should deal with Best Buy the costumer service dept is not helpful in getting any receipts for purchase said they had thousands to go threw and I tried three different times traveling about 75 miles each time to get the problem fixed I have found my receipt but I have no email address in which to send it

request no. 2026422 dated 19 Dec 2017 for repair of 03 no. sharp Air purifier is still pending. Services are extremely poor and technician are not competent....Horrible..

I had bought a Sharp Chest Freezer Model : SJC303. It started broken after one and half year.
I had send it to repair, but they said it has internal leaking , cannot repair. I need your Sharp company give me reason why?? Can't trusted Brand! Worst !

In February 2016, I purchased a Sharp Refrigerator-Freezer (Model: SJ-XP580G-SL), and in October 2016, I discovered that the doors' glasses are peeling off. I contacted Sharp Unsupport Services several times but there are empty promises one after the other. Instead of coming up with the solution or engaging a constructive dialogue, they are good on saying "the manager will call you back today". Unfortunately, the manager does not call you at all.

i called the oncologist assistant Jacklyn on october 10,11,12 and 13 with no reply, i decided to stop by on Friday the 14 inquiring about a referral i needed for my arm sleeve for lymphodema. Jacklyn seemed annoyed i had stopped by and said she had just gotten it approved that day.

a call back would be the professional, polite, proper, kind thing to do.

when dealing with cancer some staff should not work for those areas if they cannot offer compassionate care.

After sales service is terrible. I purchased a Sharp Microwave convection oven it has 5 months warranty remaining and when a large dish is placed on the turntable is no longer rotates. Sharp say the machine is working perfectly even though I have demonstrated the problem. They will not fix. The microwave is basically useless unless you only want to do light cooking. I contacted Sharp complaints by email (they won't provide a phone number) and have not receive a reply.

I purchase a sharp led tv one year ago..
And now tv is not working...it's picture tube is need to replace... but no service from company...i call too many times but they never give us proper guidance.....

Very bad and disappointed..This complain is from Cairo, Egypt. I bought 2 A/Cs sets each 1 and 1/2 ton. The complain merely about the technical support. When they sent the technician to mount the 2 sets. I discovered that he cut the main electrical rope in half and took the second half from both sets. when i confronted him with this issue he claimed that the rope is too long and i don't need all that length. i was really dissatisfied.
I reported my complain with the CS in EGYPT. Unexpectedly, i received no attention or follow up. the telephone CS person assured that they will refer to me. but nothing happened and they said that they called me and i didn't answer. THis is not true and far away of being right. and i reported this too.NOw i bear Sharp International all the responsibility if anything happened to my 2 sets during the warranty or after the warranty period as well.I am really disappointed from the quality of service of SHARP EGYPT.plz solve z problem from your side ASAP. Thank You.

I think the customer service or lack of service of Sharp and through Sharp is very poor!!! You pay hundreds of dollars and pay for the extended warranty for their product, you should be treated a whole lot better then this. I call Sharp and tell them that my TV has no picture but has sound. They try to trouble shoot the problem, but we get no where. Then I'm told that I need call back and talk technical support, ( well they transfer me to them) I tell them the problem. They tell me that they have to send someone to my home. They tell me I have to wait 3 to 5 business days for someone to call me and set up a time for them to come to my home, now i might have to take a day off work just so that I fit into their schedule. Then are they going to have the part on the truck to fix my TV?!!!! Probably not solo how long does it really take to fix a TV?? A month. To me this is ridiculous!!! Never buying Sharp again!!!

I bought a sharp A.C of one ton last year. this year I m facing a bit problem.I complained several time but till today 23-05-2016 nobody has attend the complaint yet.wwhat a third class service.I will never buy any appliances of this co.in future.

Hello,

I am dealing with Sharp though your agent in Egypt ( ELARABY Group). I purchased 2 A/Cs 3 horse power.

I faced many types of extremely unprofessional reactions from most of those I dealt with them in ELARABY Group. I told them directly your destroying your image and very soon you will lose your market share by all these ruse and unprofessional actions.

From the first moment it was very hard to get someone from checking department to have the checking visit which is mandatory by their system. Many times they fix a date and they disappear and do not apologize to set another date. After several trials we succeeded to make this checking point and we purchased the 2 A/Cs and was looking to install them.

After several trials of reaching them on 9th May 2016 they fixed a date to install the 2 A/Cs and here we have the disaster. We had punch of extremely unprofessional team who spent 10 hours literally (from 11:30 till 21:30). They were not able to install 2 simple A/C in first floor of small villa and when we check with them; we came to know that it is a subcontracted vendor by ELARABY group and the guy simply told us that he is new to this job and not sure of what should be done properly. The metal holder of one A/Cs (which suppose to hold the compressors outside the window) has fallen down to the ground from the first floor after its installation because they used the wrong material to fix to the wall and we were fortunate enough that one person was there to do another job in the flat who was the one to prevent the compressor from falling down as well!!!!!

We contacted the ELARABY Group call centre several times and we have no success to talk to someone to report the problem and what we usually receive is either to be told that the system is being updated and we cannot take your complain or to face someone who is extremely unprofessional and is not willing to help and talk in very rude way. After many calls and after huge pressure we put on the phone responder from ELARABY Group we were able to deal with someone called ( Hany Raouf). This guy as he told us was one of the supervisors for the call center and he listened to our complaints and was apologizing nicely and promised to fix a date to check the A/C installation process. After that on 10th May 2016 we received a message on mobile telling that the checking visit will be on the following date 12th may 2016, as usual today is 12th and nobody appeared and body is respond to our calls!!

We are very disappointed by the bad , rude and unprofessional dealing we had form SHARP agent in Egypt and we are asking you please to consider this a formal complain. Make sure that upon this type of dealing by your agent, your brand (SHARP) is losing creditability day after day and one day you will have no market share in the Egyptian Market.

Both 2 80" TV and on the 2nd TV HDMI port 3 and 4 do not work. They send me an RMA unit that had missing screw's and the unit does not even turn ON. Trying to get SHARP to fix this problem but all they are doing is delays. I CANNOT belive a global company like sharp has such horrible warranty service. I will never recommend or buy a sharp product again. Not even a 3 dollar calculator. This is truly unbelievable. Tried to put in a complaint but apparently they do not have a complaint department. JUST SAD.

Customer support at Sharp Canada is horrible. I was interested in a particular item but wasn't able to find a retailer who carries it, and Sharp Canada's website didn't show any retailers for this product. When I called the customer support, they were unable to provide me with information regarding which retailer carries this product plus they don't even know if this product is available for sale in Canada. RIDICULOUS.
