I have had terrible luck with this company. They cut heads off in my Granddaugthers wedding photo book and did not include all of my photos and I paid $128.00 for this book and sent a complaint by e-mail and have not received an answer. They, also, sent muntiple prints of a photo that you did not order and charge for them. I am finished with them!!!!!!!!!!! doggit 8/7/10 10:14AM

Horrible customer service. I could barely understand the customer service rep, and when I asked to speak to someone else she refused.
Still don't have an answer to my question:
Why can't an order be guaranteed to be received by Friday if: Today is Monday, it takes 2-3 business days to produce my item, which gets me to Wednesday, then I chose the expensive 2-day shipping option to receive the item by Friday. However, my email confirmation said I would not get the item until next Monday. When I called customer service to find out why, she could not explain it to me, although maybe she did explain it and I just didn't understand her. Frustrating. So now I just gamble on having a birthday gift for a party this weekend.

CSR kept placing me on hold to look up answers to my question (which I thought was fairly simple - Can you not include invoice since this is gift?) Not sure why my email address mattered. Didn't know what a gallery wrap was..

Same issue, talked to India. It said my order was delivered to my porch and I never receieved it. These are my baby shower invites!! Time sensitive things. I will not order from them again. I usually order through snapfish, but I got a coupon. Not cool! And they want me to pay for shipping to resend me the order! Anonymous 2/1/10 4:01PM

Customer service is in India. I've called twice. It is extremely frustrating with the language and cultural barrier when trying to explain the nature of sending Christmas cards. They wanted me to return my cards and send a new set - a week before Christmas. The other option was to give me a credit for 75 cards that expire at end of January. On what occasion would I use 75 cards for in January? I will not use Shutterfly again. My frustration grew more out of the poor communication and lack of understanding on their part than the poor quality of the cards - my complaint in the first place. Anonymous 12/16/09 12:03AM

Horrible. Simply horrible. Shutterfly is such a great company, with a wonderful offering. Their customer service USED to be second to none. What should have (and would have) taken a few minutes took a half hour before I finally hung up. They have lost a customer and unless I somehow hear they've gotten rid of their offshored customer service, I will not return. lkajsdf 11/19/09 1:41PM

HORRIBLE cust svs. Not sure if its Phillipeans or India or what, but if you are ordering anything other than standard prints and you have a deadline, don't do it! There are many other competing services that are ALL in the USA that you can use. Specifically, they baited and switched me on the 'estimated time of arrival'...said one thing when I placed the order then about a week later it moved out by 2 weeks and they did NOT notify me. Secondly, email back and forth with Shutterfly is what you would expect from someone that can't speak or write english. Using simple language I asked for a refund..they never addressed that in 4 exchanges I had with them. Finally had to call them (Phillipeans) to get refund. Customer service is in Philippines. Good luck! Very limited knowledge, poor responses to any email. Quality is fine if they do not do something wrong. If they do, that is when the company falls apart. bergerie 10/1/08 11:48AM

Well I have to say I received awesome customer service from their Philippine office.. I called a few months ago, had a problem with my order (which was my fault), and I was not expecting them to replace it for free. Well, lo and behold, they gave it to me, FOR FREE. Beat that.. Communication is not much of a problem either, they can speak well.. iouone 11/21/08 12:38PM
