Wow! I have spent the last week trying to sell tickets having one problem, and then the next problem, and the next one. I will never get back the 3 hours of my life I spent on hold at different times or the best few days. And then when the Stubhub customer service rep gets on the phone, they have nothing to say. They're a bit confused it seems and don't know what they're talking about. Not mean, just uninformed. Overall, a very bad experience. THEY CHARGE A VERY HIGH COMMISSION TOO! I wanted for over 3 hours on the phone. The recording says "We care about our customers, please hold for the next operator" Whatever!!! Bottom line is....they over sold box seats and I got stuck sitting in the $40 dollar seats with a crappy view. Did I mention I paid $320.00 for 2 tickets. If you have listings on StubHub, you need to check them to make sure there is no problem. Currently Electronic Delivery listings that are for Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre in Chula Vista (San Diego) are not working. If someone tries to buy them, they get a message saying there is a problem and we hope you can find other tickets. They have been notified of this problem but apparently assigned it a low priority. Nice people, but have a serious lack of control over the people selling tickets. They should have a drop dead date by which tickets must be delivered and hold the sellers to that date, as I have paid for my tickets 6 weeks ago and have yet to see them and will be out of town probably and on the road to the east coast. When you purchase tickets there is no indication of when the tickets will be sent to the customer, sure hope this does not blow up my vacation plans....... bb 3/15/10 4:31PM

Abysmal experience with them. Ordered tickets for my dad's Christmas gift. Was told they wouldn't ship until Jan 5th. Tried to cancel - no dice. Now it's the 14th, 2 days before the event and I still don't have tickets. They were supposed to find replacements but never did. Got my money back, but my dad's Christmas was ruined. Don't count on Stub Hub! They don't guarantee WHEN their sellers will ship tickets, and if there is a problem, they won't give you store credit for FIVE days. I ordered tickets for a Christmas gift; seller didn't ship until FIVE days later so no tickets until AFTER Christmas and the gift recipient had left. I then made the mistake of using USPS Priority Mail. I shipped it on a Monday, this is Saturday, and no on there has any idea where it is. Frustrated in Iowa 1/2/10 11:01AM

First and last time I will ever use Stubhub was this weekend. Absolutely corrupt way of doing business. I just hope I get my money refunded. Waited past the confirmation date and still heard nothing from the seller....sure stubhub did what they could to contact the prick with the tickets....but the closer it got to game day I had to cancel and look elsewhere. A day after I cancel the order, the seller finally responds and they charge my account. They charged my account even after I spent half an hour on the phone canceling the transaction. DO NOT EVER USE STUBHUB!!..I was excited to see I was only paying 12.00 for my Redsox tickets, Come to find out they added on additional fees for last minute purchases?..I reluctantly purchase them and head to Boston, I get into the city a little late and STUBHUB pick ups are no where to be found, 1hr and a half after the first pitch, I found STUBHUB..the doors were locked and they were closed..Im currently on the phone waiting to speak to a representitive..it's been an hour. DO NOT USE STUB HUB unless you want to waste your time. Here is the message I received:
"You are currently the high bidder! If you are outbid, we will send you another email to let you know."
Having not received another e-mail from Stub Hub, I thought I was the winning bidder. Not so, I was out bid, but Stub Hub did not send me an e-mail to that effect. When I called, they wanted to sell me tickets at 3-4 times the price of my bid. Their customer service is useless.Anonymous 8/19/09 12:57PM

This STUB HUB place is a joke and do NOT use them to get tickets. They add 10% to the price of the tickets, but worse yet THEY DO NOT respond to customer service email !! Remember, 10 % added to purchase price and additionally other fees for ticket transfer and processing. It's no wonder eBay bought them. No retracting a bid if you make a mistake and be careful to watch when an auction ends. Sometimes they allow a seller to run an auction right up until just an hour before the event starts. Then your hands are tied. I have not had a pleasant experience and there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE via email, so don't waste your time. Use Craigslist instead! VERY UNHAPPY in NEW JERSEY and I will NEVER use StubHub EVER AGAIN !!! Disturbed in New Jersey 8/7/09 10:23AM

I was totally screwed by stubhub. I would not recommend using this service at all. They are purely on the side of the seller. I put inf tickets in one section and was emailed tickets totally on the other side. They did not care because they go their money. RT 6/12/09 5:00PM

Unfortunately, this is the general number where they shout "StubHub" and you wait for an agent to order tickets etc. However, if this is already where you have been, and have a problem that needs a supervisor or someone higher to help you, this number will not help you. Waited on the 800 number for over 1 hour!!! called the 415 corporate office number while i was on hold and made it through.

hey piget2008 if its for the U2 event, stubhub is offering refund if you send the tix back just email customerservice@stubhub.com saying you want a refund, if its not for this event they offer one time exceptions of store credit, ONLY if youve never had one before because its a ONE TIME EXCEPTION, this is for ppl that buy wrong tix on accident of want different tix or cannot attend the event, and another thing sellers do have dates set where they must send the tix, and if they do not send them, 24 hours after the date they set u can cancel or they find you new tix, customer service is friendly if you call in with a positive attitude and not screaming and yelling, its not there fault YOUR seller messed up they are there to help you, and do the best they can to accomadate for your situation keep that in mind lovinyou22kp 6/12/10 7:09AM

Have no idea what these folks are talking about. Have bought many tickets using stubhub over the years, never had a problem. Yes there fees are high 10%-15% and shipping, however thats how they get paid. Its a transaction fee for service provided. EVERY company in the world has these fees, banks, ATM's etc. why else would they be any different? They have to pay there employees too folks NOT to mention the sellers who are selling you the tickets which is where the majority of that money goes to.
If you call this number dial 0 ZERO and like any phone number it will take you to an operator and or a rep very fast. I've never waited more than 5 minutes using this method EVER.
Some people just dont know how to buy online. Craigslist I dont recommend, thats where 99% of the scam artists sell items ESPECIALLY tickets. Want to get screwed? Use CL, they have nothing in place. At least ebay has the feedback column so you know who your dealing with and stubhub has the fan protect guarantee, craigslist is like the wild west of markets.Anonymous 11/7/09 11:46AM
