My Suzuki Vitara LY story started in October 2019, when I purchased a new car through a Suzuki dealership in Romania. In September 2022, at a total run of the car around 9000km, I complained of an abnormal noise while lifting the clutch pedal, at the dealership service. The noise only appeared when the engine reached operating temperature. After several tests and checks, the noise is confirmed and all clutch components are replaced by warranty, including the clutch cover. After a few dozen kilometers, the noise returns (or never disappeared, but since the outside temperatures were lower when the car was returned, it was not present). Since that, the car has been repeatedly presented to the dealership for various interventions (for which no documentation was issued). In August 2023, after a total of several hundred kilometers, I presented the car again to the same service, of the same dealership, with one additional problem, a shock when selecting any gear and this was confirmed by the service. At the end of October 2023, the car is still being serviced (2 and a half months later), with no solution.
Suzuki Romania support always refers to the dealership, and the dealership shrugs their shoulders, doesn't identify the problem and tells me that they are waiting for a resolution from Suzuki. I have no control over this information as everything is done in an obscure way, I have no possibility to communicate or escalate the issue to the factory in Hungary or to the parent company in Japan, there are no public contact details.
This situation continues we can't use the car for more than a year and from my point of view Suzuki is just a scam, the warranty offered is only theoretical because shrugging shoulders is not a solution, there are no ways escalate to the factory or the corporate and for us, explanations like "I talked to Lucian from Suzuki, we are waiting to see what he says" is not a solution.
During this year, because the car belongs to a commercial company, we had to pay for all kinds of alternative solutions when we needed to transport staff and equipment needed by the current activity.
