I have been waiting for my Thermador oven repair part for 2 months and there is "no eta" according to the Thermador help line. I could spend a year or longer without a working oven
Their warranty is a functional lie.

Thermador is a nightmare. I'd purchased a Thermador range/dishwasher/refrigerator a few years ago, all are problematic, the refrigerator has been the worst (ice builds up, fridge freezes, freezer doesn't).
I called Thermador, the problem was identified, a replacement part was ordered, and that's when the fun began. Turns out Thermador ordered the WRONG part, so appointment #2 was a wash, the part was ordered again, this time two parts were sent to my home, BOTH wrong, and appointment #3 was a wash. In between #2 and #3, another appointment was cancelled by Thermador, without any notification or reason (I found out when my repairperson didn't show up). So several appointment days of sitting at home, defrosting everything, throwing out a ton of food each time, and STILL Thermador doesn't have the correct part.
Oh, and they've charged me $650 so far for the "repairs," which haven't actually happened. When I complained (wait times for CS are over 45 minutes), nobody knows anything, everyone needs lots of documentation before they'll even consider my case, and in the meantime, I've had a non-functional fridge for several months.
I can't imagine a more incompetent company. Even the repairperson trashed them, saying their software is dated, they can't tell what parts were ordered or if they've even shipped, he said he was quitting if things didn't improve. When your own employee trashes your company to customers, it's probably a bad sign.
Finally, I've decided to just junk everything Thermador and start over. That's my happy ending.
We spent $28,000 on Thermador appliances for our new house. We moved in May 22,2023 and neither of our ovens in our dual fuel range have ever worked. They preheat to the set temp and then show an error code. We have been talking and emailing Thermador customer service for 4 months to no avail. They say there is nobody who services Thermador in our area so they have to "review" our case. We live in a city of 100,000, seventy miles from Memphis,TN and they have no people who can service their appliance??? Each week when we call a new case number is assigned and we are told we will get a call from a supervisor or field representative in 1-3 days. They never return the call. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The store we bought the appliances from is now closed so we are on our own. I have been in contact with other stores that sell Thermador and they are trying to help. Hopefully this will make them rethink selling this brand.
Have a $4000 Built In Thermador/Bosch Coffee Maker that is a few months old and has totally blown up. We are getting no resolution from our local retailer (Ferguson/Tucson). Thermador's Customer Service ranks at ZERO. The local retailer sent out a repairman that has never even seen the machine!
After having spent $30,000 on Thermador appliances, I regret making my purchases. Ferguson Tucson should be ashamed of their lack of professionalism. Do not purchase from Ferguson or Thermador until Customer Service drastically improves.
I have a Thermador Electric Wall Oven that was in the house when i bought it about 39 years ago. I suspect it's as old as my house , about 68 years old. It still works great .
The feature most important to me is its capability to vent to the outside . It vents through the top and then out . I wish i could find a modern electric wall oven that vents to the outside .
I have new Thermador appliances in 2 houses. Among them are 6 dishwashers. On one of the 6, the door pops open in the middle of the cycle multiple times. One service guy said I needed $400 worth of new latch parts. When a different guy came to install them, he said the dishwasher just needed to be leveled. He did that & left, and the door is still popping open.
My Thermidor professional dual fuel range gets an error code every time there is any amount of moisture inside. It says set probe temperature and it is nearly impossible to get it to reset. The oven does not work and goes down to 0° during this process. Of course the most likely time is when it is a holiday, like today on Easter. This range cost almost $10,000 and it does not work when I need it too. We hadAn approved Thermidor technician come and he said there was nothing wrong with it. The oven completely shuts down in the middle of cooking a holiday meal. Fourth time.
Unbelievable horrible customer service. and product. Cheaply made. Our freezer pull out drawer broke just 1 month out of warranty and finally got service out here to not even have the part. then finally got through on phone to order correct part. paid expressed shipping and the wrong part was mailed and shipped later than what I paid for. unbelievable. where and how do we contact Corporate? Is there actually live humans working? and that even care?
IAM filled with regret about my Thermador purchase. I bought a dual fuel range. I had a pot of hot cocoa boil over. It short-circuited the entire unit and they couldn't send out a repair person for over a month. When he arrived he said it is not covered under warranty because it is my fault and the repair is $4000. This is ridiculous. Who doesn't have pots that occasionally boil over? This is a design flaw and the company is not standing by their product, it takes at least an hour to get through to customer service and once you get a live agent, they are dismissive. I urge anyone looking at appliances to stay away from this company. By the way, none of the high-end tech functions actually worked. This is the most expensive paperweight I have ever bought. Buyer beware.
horrible experience with Thermador product and customer service. Brand new high end freezer stop working and customer service fails to provide repair within 6 months. The service guy showed two times in a row without necessary parts. He said it's my problem that part is not available.
For 10 weeks we have not had a functioning oven. Whenever I call customer service, I have an incredibly long wait. My oven is 3 years old and is under an extended factory warranty which literally means you get passed from one customer service agent to another. No one takes ownership. No one cares. Apparently the part is back ordered and "we are sorry you are inconvenienced. We understand your frustration." I get conflicting information. Bottom line: no oven!
Waiting 5 months for a part for my refrigerator. The refrigerator is collecting mold and food is spoiling in 2 days. I have to sponge the upper part of the fridge twice daily. I can understand a part shortage but this is getting ridiculous. I spent over $20000 on Thermador and now this. Could they anticipated the shortage? Could they pay premium price for a 3rs part vendor to supply to keep customers happy? Its frustrating with the holidays coming and the fridge full with relatives visiting.
My Thermador Dishwasher needed repair. I contacted Thermador and a Technician visited my home. Themador charge me $159.00 for less than 10 minutes of informing me that I need a Module Board and latch sensor and the cost would be over $700.00. In an other word, the Technician was simply SPECULATING the diagnosis. Please bare in mind that he never touch the Dishwasher to examine the issue. Needless to say, a severed wire cause the malfunction. They charge me $159.00 I felt cheated and violated!
My double Thermidor oven is not working, so I called and scheduled a technician to come out. The soonest Thermidor had availabilities was a month away, out of frustration that we have been without an oven, we booked it. The window of time was between 8am- 5pm which I took a day off work for. I assumed he would be here at a decent hour since the window was 9hours, and a I have kids to pick up from school. Turns out he calls before the apt. to tell me he will be here between 3-5, right when I have to pick my kids up. I would have never booked this time frame, but there was no other option to get service. I had to cancel and they can't send a technician out for another month!! We will have been without an oven for 3 months!!!! I will NEVER purchase from Thermidor again because the customer service is poor, very, very poor. If anything goes wrong with your Thermidor, good luck, I highly suggest you do not use their customer service.... It's not service at all. Extremely disappointed!
I purchased a $9000 36" gas range with electric oven and electric griddle. From the beginning the oven was heating 75° too hot and the griddle would barely get to 300°, couldn't even make pancakes. First repair visit from Thermador technician said he doesn't know how to work on this range as it was completely redone in the past year. He recalibrated the oven temperature down 25° and said he would have to speak to Thermador about the griddle. Second visit he adjusted the set screws on the griddle, And after I told him my oven only operates in the true convection mode, no matter if you put it in bake or convection, he replaced the main circuit board. Third visit the same guy replaced they temperature gauge on the griddle, but I still couldn't make pancakes even with the griddle turned all the way up to 500° He proceeded to go into great lengths to tell me that the oven was operating correctly, even though I have to have a thermometer probe inside the oven, and literally stand by the oven while I'm using it To manually turn the oven up and down to maintain any kind of a regulated temperature. He said the Thermador does not care if your oven heats correctly, because customers don't care, they don't use the ovens, they only look at them! he said that asking for a replacement would do no good as I would get something exactly the same and I should request my money back and buy a different oven!!! Great, I remodeled my kitchen around the oven, counters, backsplash etc.
in his repair report he refused to note that after replacing the griddle sensor, that failed to fix the problem. He only reported that he replaced the part and told me that he is not allowed to use the word failed, something about the legal department! After requesting a replacement, a supervisor basically told me the same thing. The engineering department had determined that my oven is functioning correctly and I am just not happy with how it functions! IT DOESN'T FUNCTION!!! How can this company that has been around for 80 years sell a a $9000 piece of furniture for your kitchen! Do not buy this product or anything that Thermidor makes because they know they only make crap.
I have this Coffee Machine that has not been working for 3 months, With so much delays and schedule to repair. Service guy came out on the 11 of August with new ordered parts and could not repair. At this point I would like a full refund not a total replacement. This is the second coffee maker to break down.
It is very difficult to find a technician to work on My Thermidor oven .
I believe my dual range oven was defective right from the start. My Thermador dual range oven was installed and did not heat up. Thermador Customer Service gave me numbers to call. I was told by the service centers that they did not work on Thermador anymore. I got up at 4 AM to call Thermador and finally found a woman named April and begged her to help me. She found a repairman to come. He was great but now he's not taking new appointments because he's so busy. His advice was that I may need a new panel if the oven continued to give me problems. Because I have a smaller oven I have not used my Thermador more than a few times over the past year.
Now once again, it will not heat up. I am in need of a service technician to service my area in Watsonville, California- Santa Cruz County or even someone from Monterey County.

Please give attention to my claim number, as when the oven was first installed I was given many technicians names.
When contacted, they told me they do not service Thermador.
If Thermador is unable to give me a number of a technician that will come in a timely manner, there are local reputable technicians that I can schedule to come look at my oven and I'm hoping that Thermador will let me find one and Cover the cost.
