US CEllular really know how to screw you over! Free Phone!! My A__! they tell you that then you have to sign a blank pad agreeing to a free phone-- HA! You are being set up to purchase a phone on time payment hopeing that you will not notice. It really cost you $100. When I complained to them, they let me purchase my "free phone for ONLY $50 , to save finance charges. When we went to get help on using this "FREE Phone" a couple of months later, instead of showing us how to use it, they 'inadvertently' SOLD me another phone for $100. Talk about fair business, I wondered later what the charges were for on my phone bill. Come to find out, it was for the phone that I signed up to buy!!!!! NEVER AGAIN! I went to another company and refuse to pay that bill!

Two trips back to USCellular regarding dropped and missed calls. Was told their "map" shows I have good coverage. Don't care what the map says, I know what I'm getting and it is anywhere near good.
Will need to find a more reliable and honest provider

This company has gone completely down to rock bottom. Has been with them for about 18 years. The people that does the phone service does not know what they are doing neither does the people in the little stores. Will be looking into another phone company that is honest and true in what they tell their customers. Had always been happy with their services until the last two years.They must not trained their people at all. We don't like companies that lies to their customers and right now Uscellular is at the top of the line.

Sent a phone I didn't receive. Told the phone was free but charged me. Spent 2 hours trying to order the IPhone 15 Pro Max. Told me I couldn't order the IPhone 15 ProMax. Then they called back asking if I wanted to order the IPhone 15 Pro Max. They finally figured out I was trying to upgrade my phone but they lost the sell.

I bought this "pandemic components" phone through cellular. This is the 3rd Samsung I've owned and by far the most worthless phone I've ever owned. Day one this phone has connection issues with BT, WiFi etc. The screen can't handle processing photos, apps lock up, while in Portland or I had NO SERVICE for a week as it tried switching between 5g/4g. I can't listen to music without interruption, certain apps make it crash, and Mostly the Camera can't focus and I've missed important calls and zoom meetings because of this. I sent it in and had it back in a week with only a software upgrade. My S10 handle all of this flawlessly.
I'm taking this to the point where Samsung/US cellular are going to pay for the therapy and Physiatrist appointments I couldn't connect too.
I used to praise Samsung but now you've lost a large family of Samsung loyalists.
Why? Because you are not accountable to your customers. This is how you loose them.
Good luck with US cellulars 10 different billing reminders after the fact. They're rude and frankly don't care about you or if you can actually use your phone. 20+ years of cellphone usage and US cellular was the WORST experience I've ever had.

Had no phone service on 06/26/23. U.S. Cellular gave zero notice of this service interruption. I contacted the local office in Richland Center, WI. The employee hung up on me when I expressed my opinion of this company.

Called as my auto pay was short. Had to make 2 calls, 2 chats and 2 failed attempts to pay online. Tools over 75 minutes to make a payment. One lady hung up on me when I told here I was only paying the difference as the previous agent had told to. How can you run a business if you make it this hard to pay you?

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Left me on hold for 20 minutes after saying it would be 10 only to deny every request I made. A joke. NEVER buy from these people. You will regret it.

U.S. Cellular is nothing but a thief these days! When you go in they give you a price on your monthly bill but when you get it it's $50 higher than what they tell you! They mess things up so that they can claim your payment wasn't made! AND NOW I have a galaxy note 20 that I bought no more than 2 yrs ago, in the last 6 months they have started putting out system updates that I have no way of stopping and it's ruining my phone and I can't afford to buy another with all the outrageous prices. STOP RUINING MY PHONE PLEASE!?

I was a customer for 12+yrs. I moved to a location where service wasn't very good. I switched to T-Mobile. I paid my equipment off. I could NOT provide T-Mobile with any proof, that I paid my equipment in full, due to US Cellular. They costed me $800 to keep in switch after 12+yrs of service. You now know what you have to look forward to, for your loyalty to US CELLULAR. IF I could leave a -5star review I would.

So unprofessional talked to 3 different agent that told me about the same promotion I could have ordered it online I think but I chose to go instore when I got to the store they looked at me like I was crazy but it was in the notes so they scrambled around on and out the back room on in off the phone after about a hour in a half they were like alls we can do is give u 400 off a phone have u that I was told I qualified for up to 1200 off a phone needless to say I left the place upset then what ever they put on the notes the next couple times I called customer service they were rude and un able to give me a straight awnser in trying to get someone from corporate on the phone forget about it u can't find a number email nothing to help me out bottom line I wasted about 6 hours of my life for a unappreciated company its no wonder they lost 50k customers in 2 months me in my family got 5 lines with them not any more about to go to Verizon... don't go to uscellular they do not value there customers

US. Cellular service is expensive but it works well. The issue here is they are a third party vendor for cell phones. They sell them and provide support. However, when it's a warranty situation you have to deal with manufacturer. In this case Google. When contacting Google I was informed that because it was sold by 3rd party retailer it is not covered under warranty. 1 year from date of purchase all phones are under warranty according to US Cellular but they won't support you. They tell you place an insurance claim. Then you have to pay a $200 deductible to get a defective phone warranty. This is wrong in so many ways. Leading up to this it was 3 calls to us cellular at least 30 minutes per call. Then several calls to Google to resolve what should be warranty issue. This was over a 5 day window of time. Consider these devices are necessary these days for personal stuff and life. Our lives stop because of this.

My advice after talking with the phone manufacturer is to never buy a cell phone via the cell service ever. Buy the phone direct from manufacturer. Then you have warranty and professional support. US Cellular needs to be sure for false representation of warranty claims. They need a separate lawsuit for insurance fraud for warranty claims.

Absolutely worst company ever. How I have stayed for over 10 years is beyond me. They will lie to get you in the store, lied about the services I would receive, want me to pay $210 for internet service that was absolute garbage after my son downloaded just one game, etc.asked to speak to a manager and never got a call back. Cancelled everything. Just ridiculous how they scam hard working loyal customers. I do not recommend this company to anyone ever

US Cellular has been sending me weekly messages urging me to upgrade to their new iphone14. When I called to upgrade they denied sending me anything. Very poor customer service especially to existing customers which they don't seem to value at all. I'm done!!!!!

Service has gone way down hill been with them for 17 years. Called today and complained no Service calls drop.Called today was working with a rep Called dropped and they did not call me back. Looking for a different phone company.

I have been a costumer with US Cellular for 10 years I needed a new phone and they discontinued the one I have, I went in to ask a question about why my bill was so high he told me if I added two lines to my account my bill would be cheaper this is not the case, I felt like I was taking advantage of I went from $160 a month bill to $205 a month now I can't get anyone to help me out with this since I'm not spending any more money I can't wait until my contract is up so I can go somewhere else. Hopefully a place I can trust and rely on, clearly this one did not care they were only worried about the money they had me spending before I walked out of the store. I am so upset I can't even put it all in this message.

Hi my name is Pam I've been with you guys for a long time I used to praise you sell your product for you tell people to go with us cellular last 4 months I've never been so disgusted and upset I didn't care if you guys just shut me off I wish you would have I didn't even open up your bills I was giving bad advice directed wrong I got screwed and playing words I used to be prepaid I wanted internet I'm on SSI so I'm going to fix budget I figured with my lifeline and my other program my total bills should be like $60 a month with my internet 70 at the most all sudden 176 196 200 I had to go be in a billing customer lost my free phone that I couldn't get that I get every year or two years and I needed it because I have a phone that really don't work so I'm paying for service on a phone that don't work I was told that I had to go to billing for the internet finally after talking to people not getting nowhere going into the office not getting nowhere I decide today I'm going to give you a call guys a call I got a lady named Christy or Chrissy she is in the lifeline program she's been working for US Cellular over 17 years what a godsend I wish all your employees were like her she's straightened out a big portion of my bill got things figured out for me where I'm kind of happy again I just wish I had my phone free phone cuz I love to talk to my US cellular phone that being billed for it she told me I could have kept my prepaid and just be billed for the internet I didn't have to go through all the process and lose out like I did but now in order for anything go back to prepaid it will cost me more money so I just got to leave things be so I have a phone service without a phone that's wonderful just wonderful so I guess I'm not happy with US Cellular but I am so happy with that woman she lives in Oklahoma and you guys need to give her a raise cuz she is wonderful she understands the hell am I disability and internet is a luxury that I love cuz I'm on oxygen I don't leave my house so all I have is my tablet my TV and I need the Internet I would love to get my free phone but I can see that ain't going to happen but I can't buy one from you guys either cuz I can't afford it so I'm going to pay for a bill for a phone that I can't use but my main comment is all about this lady and how wonderful she is and she needs a raise cuz you need to keep her and make keep her happy cuz if she's done what she's done for me means she's doing it for everybody she's putting 100% in and she loves her job if she gets upset with things ain't right for customers I wish everybody in your company was trained the way she was and have understanding and a heart like she does thank you

We were at us cellular yesterday in Sun Prairie. My Samsung Galaxy 4 had been locked up for several weeks.Jadon Bower waited on us and gave us spectacular service! He worked on my phone for quite awhile
and not only was able to unlock my phone by wiping it clear, but he also reloaded most of my info using
my husband's matching phone. He was.the best! Please give him a raise for his patience, courtesy, & knowledge!

A year and a half ago we decided to leave Verizon, and thank God we walked in and met Tiffany Ramey! Hands down the very best customer service we have EVER enjoyed. There were some problems at first, but Tiffany made them all go away. So now we upgrade recently and who did we choose? Tiffany! Again this girl is there every step of the way! I chose 1 phone and my wife another, Tiffany helped us both through it. She even walked out 2 times to sync both phones to two different cars! Tiffany is what I would love to have working for me!

I was overbilled for insurance on my smartphone for two years. So I went to store #3131 & talked to Liz (manager) she was awesome & credited me for the error in full. She was so friendly & professional. I would be proud to have her as a employee & can't even explain how lucky you are to have her. I would hire her in a second, if you EVER decided to let her go. I wish everyone worked like she did! She saved both of us from one big hassle & expense. She is definitely top of my list for classy people. So please email me if you ever decide to let her go. I have had service from all the big three phone providers over the years. By far the best one I have dealt with is US Cellular. Whenever I have called the online help they were great. Whenever I have had to deal with a representative in the office they were extremely helpful and I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me or talking the company line. Since I live in the mountains and service is difficult from place to place, I find the US Cellular coverage beats out AT&T, & Verizon. I may not have access to as many choices as Verizon, it's nice not to have to sign in when you walk in the door, but rather am greeted by a smiling face ready to help me.

Just wanted to comment on how great your employees at the US Cellular Store at Westland Mall in West Burlington, Iowa are. Have been there several times lately and every time they have been patient, informative, and very knowledgeable. Latiecia Hood was excellent...went out of her way to make things understandable and easier for me. There was also a newer girl by the name of Auburn Nickelson and a young man by the name of Thomas...all were very kind.

First I want to say, I have been a customer of US Cellular for many years and have always been satisfied with their service, and am currently satisfied now. I live in the country, and friends who visit always have peoblems with reception/dropped calls while I never have. Wait times at the stores can be long, but having worked in customer service myself I understand.

In June I added a line to my contract for my son. Apparently I added the line the same day my bill was being printed, and the bill I received was over $100 less than I expected. I called customer service and was informed that the rest of the bill would be shunted to the next month and my service wuold not be affected as long as I paid the amount on the bill. Since we had just paid an unexpected vet bill over $1,000, I was relieved.

In early August (phones still not disconnected) I realized I had never received a July bill and called again, only to find out their billing service is experiencing problems, bills would be sent when they were ready and due dates would be adjusted accordingly. After reading some of the negative reviews, I fear that problems may be coming. Thank you, US Cellular, for giving me the 5 star service you have so far, and I pray that our business relationship will survive this transition.

I recently got the galaxy 3 as s upgrade from my motorola electrify. The phone has turned out to be very disappointing with drop calls and poor signal. I've contacted us cellular 3 times in regards to this phone, twice in store a once with tech support. The technician was extremely polite and sympathetic to my problem, but unfortunately was unable to really give me a solid resolution. I can't complain about tech support, but in store sales associates gave me the run around and lame reasons about why my service was poor. unfortunately my 15 days are up on returning the phone so I'm curious as to how they plan on correcting this problem. will let you know next week if they blow me off.

I have been a US Cellular customer again for the past year, after moving to Verizon for 2 years. Before that I was a US Cellular customer for about 6 years. I'm thrilled to be back with US Cellular. Verizon was a nightmare, with bogus charges, poor customer service and an unwillingness to work toward a mutually agreeable solution to any problem. US Cellular treats me like a customer should be treated. #1 they listen. They seek solutions outside the box when it requires. I will never go back to Verizon. I'm with US Cellular to stay.

I just wanted to pass along a compliment and let you know how pleased I am with my US Cellular service. My husband broke his phone so I had to buy another. I was helped by a Mr. James Folan at the Wisconsin Rapids store and I just wanted to tell corporate that this young man deserves recognition as does this store. I have always been helped with friendly service. Just thought I'd send along something positive. people always complain and moan but very few every make a call to say "good job" or "thank you".

Wow, I'm shocked at the negative reviews for US Cellular, honestly! I've been a customer of 4 different cell phone companies and hands down, US Cellular is the best!! I have NEVER had a frustrating experience with US Cellular, whereas the other 3 (well-known) companies was one frustration after another. I have called US Cellular several times for minor questions, etc., and ended up with a better plan for us because the rep was proactive in looking at what we had and comparing it to current promotions, etc. VERY, VERY satisfied...I just wish they made refrigerators. :-)

BEST wireless cmpany I have ever worked with. Not only do they provide EXCELLENT customer service, I have never had a dropped call, bad reception of slow internet on my phone, regardless of which phone I was using. I have been a customer since they were Cellular One and switched a couple times to try to get a lower price ans found out it isnt worth the few bucks I may have saved...I came back to US Cellular every time and plan to stay for good this time. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK U CELLULAR!!

Bekah Cornett, location U569 was very friendly and greeted me immediately upon entering the store. I went to pay my bill and asked some questions about my points. She was very knowledgable and made sure my questions were answered. She showed great poise and concern in my prospective as a customer. I have been a customer of US Cellular for 7 years. I have had need to contact customer service many times and always received the best support from them.

Although they do not have 24/7 phone support, I am perfectly willing to make that trade-off because their call center is based here, in the United States.

They are friendly, easy to understand, and have always gone out of their way to make sure my needs are taken care of.

I usually do not add comments because negative comments can be from competitors just like positive comments can be from the company. However, I just felt like they do deserve a mention because they have always taken care of me.

US Cellular Associate: Ashley ? "Hermistion, Oregon Office 97838

Ashley was working in the Pendleton, Oregon store on February 24th 2011. Ashley demonstrated a remarkable level of customer service skills that far exceeded the skills of the associates in Pendleton. She exhibited what we refer to as A-Plus value.

When I entered the store Ashley immediately came around the counter "removing the barrier" and said welcome to US Cellular and asked how she could help.

She focused her attention on my eyes, facial expression, tone of voice and appropriately responded with; Sir, give me your phone number and I'll take care of you right now. I was tired and expected the same poor customer service when I came in.

Ashley communicated clearly built a uniqueness of service which made a memorable experience. Her personal approach to service was refreshing.

I strongly suggest that you promote Ashley to a training position and allow her skill, training and indelible personality to revitialize the image of the US Cellular store in Pendleton Oregon

NO.# 1 Problem with the Pendleton store:
Associates failed to be able to multi-task.
If they are with a client, and all other personal are busy they need to get those who just want to pay their bills paid and gone.

This means they need to excuse them- selves "asking permission first" to find out what this new customer needs. Not just sit there and not acknowledge the new arrival. I've had to wait long periods of time and have left more than once rather than wait.

NO.# 2 Problem:
When the associates are busy you don't run some guy out with a clip board to take names and waiting order and allow him to run back to the back, only coming back out when you he hears another customer enter. You put that clip board down and work overflow to ease backup. Thats at any time and is especially important on customers lunch break.

I've been employed with US cellular for the past 6 months and it's been a stressful experience thus far.

To see people frustrated with the service is understandable as some of the networking issues are high in abundant and thus not getting what the customer pays for.

Customers must realize that training within the company is ridiculous...We HAVE to sound as though we know everything about the company,service,bill and products we provide to the customer. Since the training doesn't cover this topic enough to give the customers proper information, we must fabricate information in order to give information that we have no idea on.

I won't go into detail about my role at U.S. cellular but I work at the call center as a tech. Some customers I admit shouldn't use phones if they don't understand how they work, sure we'll help you the best we can but if it's not the answer you're looking for then feel free to use "google" to fix your problem.

We have a policy if phones don't work correctly, If you own a smartphone and it malfunctions we either master clear it or replace it (If warranty is still valid) and if wiping the phone is the only answer if the issue is hardware based then we do our best to make sure your contacts are backed up using either "My Contacts Backup" OR on your SD card within the phone. I am sick of customers calling in and getting awol if clearing the phone is the only option to fix it, we are trying to help you so chill out!

I close by saying we do our best to make our customers happy (in the tech department..at least) the training is appalling. CSR training is 5 weeks of useless information and Tech training is a lousy week just to tell you of the tools in tech are used for, you don't get to use them until you are nesting on the floor while helping customers! Don't blame you for disliking the CSR,they are a piece of work (junk). I don't care for the company but when trying our best to help you at least have a bit of common courtesy and under stand that we are people who are trying to do our job so we can get the little money given to pay our bills, Just like some of you folks do on a daily basis.
