I would like to point out Stella Chong from the Fremont CA branch along with her male co-worker for refusing to service and being racist to none English speaking Asian customers. We made appointments for a reason and was refused service multiple times due to "short staffed " while there are no other customers after us in the whole entire bank. Will never come back to this bank again

Crappy customer service dt help you with anything the supervisor's are terrible as well they never are available they dt call u back ct resolve issues just a crappy company to do business worse credit card company ever

This is the worst bank. They are rude. Never solve anything. I rate them a 0. They are merging with U.S. bank in May of 2023. Didn't they just get busted for doing something illegal.Run very fast away from them. Remember Union bank is based out of California.

Worst customer service. Reported an online scammer and requested for the funds to be reversed, I was told to go to Gcash, then PNP, no accountability as such on their end. I'd even give you a score of zero or negative 1

Worst bank I ever see. In Google they updated that banks are closed at 3pm but closing by 2pm. And even though the bank still they couldn't afford to start the CDM Machines.And your securities also most rude to people

I spoke to a CS rep today and they have the worst way of handling customer concerns who feels upset about how they handle their customers.

I was able to provide the 16 didgit account number plus verification codre, my name and birthdate, and for them to answer my inquiry I have to provide my credit limit and since I have other cards and do not have my statement at hand, I wasnt sure so tgey asked me my TIN..like wtf?? what % of Filipinos know their TIN number or brings those at hand...so I asked if they can ask other authwntication but they said they cabt ask anything else...I work 8n a bank as well and they do have other ways if they want to help...so I aaked for a manager and they saod there are no managers available..like wtf?? they are all engaged, yeah.. i guess thats not impossible.. with a crappy service, most likely tgey ahve a lot of escalated calls and complaints...

The customer service at Union bank who answered my call, are angry people, has no experience at all, they need to be trained for the job and have to be trained how to deal with the customers, they sound like they are a runaway from a mental institution, or they did not take their nerves pills today.
. The Union bank customer service are not just bad and rude, they are the worst.

My Account was hacked, now I find out UB doesn't want to pay. This is absurd, they just don't care. Their customer service is the worst, they didn't provide any solution just excuses.

Got letter from union yesterday to tell me they deleted 2 of my payee accounts because the account numbers were wrong??? They listed only the payee name, txn dates and amounts, and the last 4 digits of the account number. This is beyond absurd. If the account numbers were wrong on the PAYEE side, my bills wouldn't have gotten paid, but they did. Whose brilliant idea was this????? To fix, I have to reenter the payee...but all relevant info, like ADDRESS and FULL ACCOUNT NUMBER, is simply gone, and they didn't provide it on their letter. It also listed a pending txn dated april 4th which didn't exist. I need to make a payment to one of the deleted accounts to by May 8th. Have to dig up payee info and recreate the same data they deleted. Dont trust they wont just delete it again and my bill will go unpaid. Am going to local branch tomorrow and talk to manager.i tried callingcustomer service 2 times. Got hung in space first time. Got forwarded to a manager the second time, waited for the transfer, and it went to the recording that they were closed and their normal banking hours are...when per their letter I was in the timeframes for calling customer service. Will be switching banks after 30 years with Union.

My ATM card was hacked, and I lost $140- now I find out UB does NOT replace the funds until after 'investigation' is completed. This is absurd, especially when it was clear that my card was hacked.So now my account is overdrawn adding to overall mess this has become. The Bank is quick enough to deduct money, when WE (customers) make mistakes- but when replacing stolen money, it's obvious the Bank takes their own time. And Banks wonder why people don't like or trust them.

Their customer service is the worst service ever. I had a failed withdrawal but the money has been deducted from my account. I reported the incident right away but Unionbank doesn't entertain EON account so I have to email [email protected] which takes a real person for days to respond only to be told that the ticket has been created without telling me what is going on. I tried calling their phone number but no one's answering. I waited on queue for about 30 minutes but still nothing so I gave up.

You guys...very slow services and cant do what you promise to your customer, i waited for 14 days for the refund and i didnt yet recieved it, its been 20 days.Its also hard to contact you online your bot chat and to your email customer services cant even email me back and u even give me a case number just to tell u its useless

Been with UB for 20 years. They closed the efficient branch on Front and kept the ancient branch on Market. Giant branch ..7 teller windows and so poor and slow service due to no fee employees, Sad waste of my time. Will be moving funds to a diff bank.

If you have any concerns with your account which evidently UBP won't/can't handle, better contact Bangko Sentral directly.

Save yourself from the hassle. Open an account somewhere else!

opening an account through Unionbank Carmona branch is probably my worst banking experience. after applying via online, my brother told me that I can send through the manager's viber my requirements to avoid the hassle but after texting the manager, he just told me to register via online and when I said that I already did and I just want to send my requirements, he just ignored me. So I went to the bank to present my requirements since their manager is unresponsive to my inquiry. After presenting my documents to the counter, they told me to present my company ID as proof of income. I went home to get my ID and went back to their bank only to find out that they are encouraging me to apply to their other online website.

We have been dealing with Union Bank for several months now regarding online access. One of my family member requires it since she is out of the country. We have been sending all necessary info they have requested and to no avail. We kept getting denied. I am hoping that my family member's info will not be compromised. I guess that is the way it is in the Philippines. Oh by the way, what we do not understand is that the info they have does NOT match on what we have and what we have been providing with G*** and to think that my family member is providing the current info to G*** on yearly interview that needs to be done. This is so frustrating and will make you really angry because of the way Customer issues are being handled.

I thought I'ts easy to open an account online, but I'm disappointed.. I've been waiting for a month now and all I got is "its still on pending" and I have to cancel to reapply. I've tried going to the bank it self but the waiting time is also hours per number.

Website is broken as sh*t, any banking process on that end is either missing or always "system issue; error code". Customer service is just beyond awful, response time is forever (already sent them 2 messages but still no response). Their official app is barely working and doesn't have the important banking processes only available on their website. Tried reaching out multiple time but their very hard to reach and obviously they bare care/value their customers. In comparison to other bank service provider that I previously had, this one is the worst so far. They barely have any physical branches in my area so que time is at least hrs for 2-3 hrs for me to do an inquiry or transaction on their end. Their help page is really really awful. A lot of my inquiries that I have tried multiple times to research on their end doesn't have an answer I need which is just unacceptable.

Worst service ever. I lost my phone and cannot use the online app as it sends the OTP to my old number. Tried to update my contact number but the process was like hell- my request was denied twice and the reps said the info I provided were wrong. The last time I made a withdrawal was pre-pandemic so it is normal to forget. I was advised to use RAFA. Useless. Went to the bank and my ID got rejected. Once again, worst service ever.
