I cancelled today after being a Lifetime member for close to 10 years. They closed down the 3 locations that were closest to me. I was told they restructured and thought people would be willing to go 20/25 miles for meetings and weight Ins. I'm not interested in spending the time and gas money for a 50 mile round trip to meet in a community location that I never frequent to meet with a support group that is far away from "my neighborhood ". I think WW is making a big mistake.

Absolutely terrible. I never sign up for auto-renewal of any account or membership. I cancelled my Weight Watchers account before the end of the 6 month period. They continued to bill me for a year EVEN THOUGH I COULDN'T SIGN IN TO MY ACCOUNT! I had NO account and they continued to bill me. The customer service rep didn't give a flip that I could not sign in to their website AT ALL. She even gave me the username information they had on file and I STILL could to sigh in. SHE DID NOT CARE. All WW is interested in is your money. They hope to get you on autopay and once they get your information, they will continue to bill you whether you have an antive account with them or not. They're crooks.

This company has a very old and good reputation, however, they put you on auto-renew, and, when it renews, it is typically for 3 to 6 mo at a time. You cannot get a refund once they start billing, or re-start billing. They do not send notifications that they are re-booting your billing, either. Cancellation is made as difficult as possible.
As far as the "new" program goes: The points system makes little sense and I found it to be not effective. You can think of calories as "points" just as well as the WW system and keep control of your weight in a much more efficient manner-no charge.

I have been a weight watcher for many years. When they decided to shut down the studio I had been attending and made NO effort to open another location near me and told me in order to maintain my goal weight for lifetime I would have to travel about 20 miles, I was very angry. On top of that, they forced our excellent leader Leah to resign. I am angry at weight watchers for taking a program that worked because of group support and dynamic leaders and replacing it with virtual meetings and branching out into pharmaceuticals. This is a far cry from the basics of weight watchers eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. What a sad day for a lot of people who used weight watchers because it was a solid and common sense program.

I first jointed WW in NYC in my early 20's. I am now 77. I continued on for years with a regular meeting with life-long WW friends. Then I moved and was out of WW for several years. I tried to return. I cancelled my membership because there were no meetings anywhere near me! The in-person meetings and that support are what makes the difference. I have virtual meetings at work, with my patients, and like so many, I hated the isolation during COVID. And now I found that my only options for meetings were virtual. And now the emphasis on virtual and medications.... I'm so disappointed and will never rejoin.

I am very disappointed in weight watchers. I called and talked to customer service. I Agnes up under the impression I was able to cancel
Anytime. I called and wrote won't let me cancel. I will never join your team and let friends know this is not a good recommendation to use. Very very frustrated I guess I can't cancel. I will not give you a good recommendation to anyone. Who ever I talked to was not helpful rude. Thank you Sheri Parker

From my experience don't join Weigh watcher. These people will let you join for 10$ per month and you will find out on your 2nd bill the charge of $25 dollars instead. Be very careful when you join since they will tell you you did upgrade the service while you never did. They are just steeling your money from your credit card without your approval. Watch out your monthly charge on your credit card bills.

Be aware, like a gym you are locked in to payments till the end of your plan even if you become sick, or have a life changing event.

Signed up for a "commitment" the same day I cancelled yet they are still taking money. This company sucks people in and steals from people. Ridiculous. I do not recommend. Get a different weight loss company

Never received order for mixes. Unable to get any information or money back

I just canceled my WW membership after the company blocked me out of my weekly virtual meetings. I had to download another Zoom app for the WW virtual meetings. When I tried downloading it didn't work and they wanted me to pay to rejoin. They keep changing the program and claim to use an algorithm for better weight loss, a bunch of baloney. They can't get their act together. FTC watch those guys.

Please stop saturating us with fat people telling us how to lose weight. When they get down to a healthy weight, maybe then I'll start to listen to them. I am just so curious how you think this is going to inspire people to lose weight.

Out for your money and that's about it. The new methods do not work and customer service is beyond awful. Navigating the app is ridiculous as well. When I opted to cancel they offered me a "free" month. I decided I'd try once again and stupidly accepted. Not only did I get charged for the "free" month, but my cancellation was cancelled and they added a an extra month. It took a while to even find a phone number that works and once I did I spoke to a woman who barely spoke English and just kept repeating the same policy and was unable to explain why I was being autocharged for 3 more months. I'm still being charged for these months even though I am not using the program. Totally disgusted with this company. They are all about grabbing your money.

Weight Watchers simply doesn't work. There is no guidance, coaching, info, nothing online. I went back to Noom, which DOES work because you actually have a coach, lessons, tricks and tips along with exercise help and tips for meal planning. Weight Watchers just keeps repackaging the same old crappy diet that doesn't work.

I signed up for a free first 3 months and called and canceled before the 3 months ended. I noticed today 01/29/22 that they charged my account 21.95 for their services. When I called to complain I was told that there was nothing in there system about me canceling. So they cancelled it today and they're gonna charge me 41.95 as a cancellation fee. And they don't even give a crap. Worst company. I hope they choke on my money.

WW had me upgrade my program without warning me that I would have to sync my phone to these apps. I dont use my phone that way. Now I cant track my food history or track my activity. I dont own a fitbit or anything like that. I preferred to track my activity manually and for years this has worked for me. Now I am forced to cancel my subscription. I really thought this company took everyone into consideration but they dont.

I have been a ww participant on and off for many years. Since COVID-19 closed down our favorite meeting with the best coach ever I am struggling with the new and only ww meeting in out town. It's just not the same. They weight you infront of everyone and there is no privacy anymore. They also don't celebrate your wins when you reach a 5,10,15 lb goal. They just handed me my charm. My friends all feel the same way and are not motivated to stay for the meetings. Is it like this at all the ww meetings now? The meeting is in Wausau, WI

I have been a Weight Watcher for over 30 years. I canceled my membership recently because W W closed the meeting location and moved to a Hotel. The program has had to adapt due to COVID-19 and l realize that, however no longer having products changes the whole atmosphere and is cost prohibitive to order products online. I've enjoyed the journey but it's time to try something new.

WW=Model for WORST customer service ever! I signed up in Feb. 2021 during an Invie-A-Friend promotion that gave my DIL a free month if I signed up. She sent me the link, I signed up but she never received her free month. I called WW and was told that I used the wrong link yet I followed the link that WW provided to my DIL. No matter how many times I repeated the link, the customer service rep kept saying, "I'm sorry but that's not what we're showing." When I asked for a customer service supervisor I was told that "Devante" was too busy to speak to me. Wow. I asked for another supervisor and was told that there was no other supervisor. I found it hard to believe that in all of WW there is only ONE supervisor! So I gave my phone number and was promised a call-back. I later found out that there are so many service centers that each one is in a different location and that, as I found out when I never received that call-back, all their representatives are uncaring and rude. So I wonder, are they rude because this is the first time they have to use their people skills or are they all just angry individuals? In either case I think WW should rethink their hiring practices and their training models.

I am a lifetime member, returned 1 1/2 years ago. The new program really works for me. The workshop I attend on Thursday mornings in Kent, WA is the BEST!!! We are fortunate to have an excellent, caring coach.
The Area/Territory Manager, however, does not display the positive characteristics that are so important to member's success. Seldom, if ever, does she have answers to questions asked by members. Very disappointing!!!!

Hello,

Please, please incorporate former WW Plans along with the current one. I was only successful on the former Points Plus plan, and I have seen loads of blogs from former (and current) members who would also love to see old plans return (as an option to the current), so that we can use what worked best for us in the past. I personally have joined and cancelled a few times since I was unsuccessful on the Smarts Points/Freestyle plan(s). Loads of new and former members would re-join WW if old plans were brought back to life. I know we can always try the plans on our own, but it's not the same. I and many others, would join WW (again or for the first time) in a HeartBeat!! :) Thanks so much, Cynthia

Placed an order online, they sent me the wrong stuff. Tried over and over to contact them to get it swapped out, but it's impossible to get through on the phone. Sat on hold for over 45 minutes on 3 different occasions before I finally gave up calling them. Can't get through to the online chat either.
Stay away from these slugs. They just want your money, and once they have it, they'll drop you like hot coals. They couldn't care less if you're happy with their service or not. Horrible. I will never order anything from them again.

I have never dealt with such awful customer service! I was looking forward to joining weight watchers too! I tried signing up online and got an error message that my payment didn't go through. I tried 4 more times and low and behold, I have NO membership but was charged FOUR times!!!! while I understand it's pending and I won't actually be charged but that was everything in my account! I now have a check that will bounce and have to cancel my dinner plans for the evening until the money is put back in my account. When I called CHERIE (who refused to give me her last name and REFUSED to let me speak to a supervisor) was rude, uncaring, and unhelpful AND had the audacity to ask me to sign up through her again. I have no money for that! It's all pending in their system! She then hung up on me so I couldn't do the survey!!! When I called back I got another girl who was slightly better but still useless and REFUSED to let me speak to a supervisor!!!!! I have never been treated with such disregard and rudeness! I guess they don't want any more business even though their stock is down 24%

For many years I have enjoyed your food products, one of my favorites the giant chocolate ice cream bars. However, for the last few years I've consistently witnessed the bars shrink in size over & over. On top of that, the price continues to increase! Did you really think we wouldn't notice, & that no one would complain???

It's one thing to slightly adjust the size in order to save your company from rising production costs, but quite another to go to the extremes you have!

Please, increase the size of the bars by at least 20 percent. Those if us who constantly count our weight watchers point values, & spending double the amount we would per quantity for regular ice cream, are being greatly cheated.

I may be only one of a few, or maybe the only one who took the time to write, but I guarantee you Everyone has noticed the difference in the size, & are just as frustrated as I.

Thanks for your time. Please rectify this issue & respond to my complaint.

Respectfully yours,

I have been a weight watchers member for 8 years at lifetime, recently you have been closing in person meetings, I am a snow bird, with an address in Naples Florida. I travel to Ct for the summer where you closed many studios, and I was one of the lifetime members that did not get that February 29th 2024 pass, which I argued about, so I canceled my membership. You can keep your diet pills, and teledoc.
