I have had my hotmail account for well over 10 years. I have an android phone. I HATE the fact I can no longer swipe to get rid of my emails. WHO thought giving more steps to do was a good idea. My hotmail is my main email. Do I need to start using my Gmail account?

I am told to make a new email after being locked out for "suspicious activity" the email was made for me when I was younger so I could play games. Therefor my memory is a little rough on the details for the email. Especially considering I do not play xbox anymore, I cannot provide a prepaid card number. My credit card was compromised. I cannot provide the numbers that are saved on the email. I need more assistance beyond an o promoted pos.

my email have blocked by you with the reason is someone trying to hacking my email, and I got the message asked me to fill the form to re-back my email account and I have sent 2 emails for that request forms but all the message that got is I cannot identify myself because the information is not enough, but I can promise that i have told you all the information I have so my email is .th please check my email and return it to me as soon as possible.

Its really bad service. I cant get into my account also the email is wrong should be .net So also my password has been blocked so I can't even get any updates on my cell phone. I have tried for a year on line to get help and nothing works. Now I was asked again to fill out the forms and I don't have an xbox account and their is no reason to give you my credit card number I just make phone calls and text I don't use all the crap on the windows phone. So because I don't give a card number you tell me not enough information. That's Crap. And you can't talk to a live person on the phone so that is also crap.

Purchased the "Assure" product to receive support for denial of access to a User Account. They couldn't fix the issue. That wasn't even close to the worst part. I was told only a "level 2 technician" could process the refund, and that I would get a call the next day. When I asked for explanation as to why I had to wait so long and why I couldn't get a refund right away, we "got disconnected" (yeah right). Surprise suprise - they did not call at the designated time and when I called I waited over an hour, was hung up on, called back, waited over an hour, and still didn't get a refund. I had to cancel the transaction through my credit card company instead - simply because they wouldn't take 3 minutes to process a refund. It speaks volumes for the company that this service is acceptable. I'm never using Microsoft customer service again, and hope to be completely Microsoft free at some point soon in the future.

I have been trying yo get back into my live.com site for mso long i forgot how long it's been I bought the laptop a few years ago and my son set it up but used a live email , now i strted useing apps and cn't get llot of them because it asks for a password . I don't know the password because my son set it up . trying to get the password is driving me crazy , I have tryed my infor like address and extra email address but it keeps running me in circles . could you please help me out. I even tryed to sign p with a new account but when i try to get apps it asks for my boppershouse @ live password . Come on man I ]m not trying to get into a bnk volt . I just want to get some apps .

I want to access my live email account. It keeps asking me for an email account to send a security code. I opened a gmail account, but cannot get that to work. They have the same support problem that takes you into catch-22 circles. How did you manage to make something so good and simple so complex? No one has a live human being to talk to.

I got an email from microsoft saying that they could not bill my credit card for my yearly hotmailplus subscription.When I tried logging into my account I forgot my security number and had to reset it. After successfully performing the reset, when I tried to log in to my account I got a message saying I can't log into my account for 30 days after a security reset. Called customer support and after spending an hour with them, I was advised that they couldn't bill my credit card due to problem with their system. Due to their issue my subscription will expire because I can't update my cred card info

I cannot get access to my hotmail account, I dont have a security code freakin code!! I have had my account for over 10 years and never had any issues until now,all the information that was previously put in has obviously changed in the last 10years. I have job offers pending but can't do anything because I don't have access to my emails. Thanks for runing my life and wasting my time!!!!! FIXX

Seriously am pissed off. I have had a Hotmail account for as long as i can remember. Not once have I ever been seriously pissed off with it.
I personally do not see why I am always having problems with my account. Every time I log in Its always telling me to repeat the same thing over and over again. I have literally had it and am so close to using foul language in this so called question. this is more like a bloody complaint. Could you please go on my page and remove that form from my page. I am not going to give you another persons email for me to go through and enter a code. its just not going to happen. I will strongly recommend you do so. Over having to do this. I really need to get to my inbox.

useless - Windows live is a total nightmare and should be banned - the emails crash in a totally random fashion - sometimes it receives sometimes not sometimes it sends sometimes not - bizarre and no solution and no easy way to complain - you just haveto put up with it - I truly hate windows live, it make my life a misery - if you bought a pair of jeans in a shop and they were as faulty as windows live you could do something about it but not with windows live - they sell you a product knowing it is shoddy and you are powerless to do anything about it

This web page lists a phone number. But it's useless, because even though one can reach a real human being there, all the person tells one to do is to go to There is nothing in the way of an actual e-mail address to which one can send a message from one's Hotmail account. I want to kill freaking Microsoft. The company is a monopoly, "too big to fail", so they think of customers as expendable. Being knowledgeable doesn't even apply, if one can't get one's question or criticism to a real human being.

After 3 phone calls and transfers, I am right back where I started. The last person I talked to said there is no phone support for Windows Live. Microsoft Windows Update totally messed up my email service. My computer is only several months old. This will be the last Microsoft product I will ever buy.

i have had the misfortune to buy a new pc with windows 7 as its system it is not easy to use and the old xp system leaves it dead in the water i just cant see why your people changed it it must have been change for changes sake because there is not a single thing to recommend that awfull windows 7 i have many web friends and i used the very popular outlook express windows 7 wont run outlook express had to spend days loading into windows live but that little gig atrracts malware like flowers do bee,s

This has to be the most worthless help line i've ever dealt with. I've beent rying for a week to get back into my email. I finally called to get person to person help and was informed that there is no email support by phone. so if you are having problems with your email account...you have to email the support team. THIS IS THE MOST IDIOTIC AND INSANE THING I'VE EVER HEARD OF! Once I regain access to my account, I will deactivate it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Dont know what the problem was for everyone else listed here but I was answered in less than five minutes and spoke to a real person who was kind and helped instantly... only took 3 minutes to fix problem and I'm back on my way... Great customer service !Great Job!

i didn't have a problem at all with the rep i talked to.our account was screwed up from a typo and she figured it out and fixed it in less than 5 mins.sorry you guys had bad exp with them but i have nothing bad to say after getting through to a real person.

Called the billing number today and even though a representative answered as a billing associate, he was more than happy to help me resolve my blocked challenges. The key is go to this page: http://www.windowslivehelp.com/solution.aspx?solutionid=6ea0c7b3-1473-4176-b03f-145b951dcb41 and go through 'Windows Live Validation'. It will ask you for a secondary email address to send a new pass code within 48-72 hours.
