Very annoying design Chrysler Town & Country (2006)
First, I hate cars which continually beep at you if you don't put on a seat belt (that's just obnoxious), which this one does. And in order to disable the beeping some sado-masochist designer came up with an impossible combination of maneuvers which have to be performed in about 10 seconds. That didn't work for me at all, and it was VERY annoying to try.
Second, another idiotic design feature is that they put the spare tire UNDERNEATH the car in a place which is very hard to get at. To release the tire you have to use a wrench to turn a bolt inside the car, then the tire drops onto the ground. Of course once you're finished you can't put the tire back in that ludicrous place, so it eventually ends up sitting on the floor inside the car. How do people come up with such nonsensical designs for cars?

I have attempted multiple times to speak with a case manager about a denial of my claim . I have been ignored and basically told your case was denied and closed and if case management wants to contact you they will email you but the case manager Jovan said your case is closed so don't correspond.

I have a recall on the catalytic converter and PVC valve update. My car is chugging and putting out so much exhaust that it is making me sick. I am unable to drive the vehicle due to this as I feel like I'll pass out if I do. It is UNSAFE. The recall was issued by Jeep, Chrysler whatever and it's a Jeep renegade trailhawk. I called customer service for recall and they said I can't get a PO for enterprise to get a rental. I can not afford the rental amount as I'm missing work. I WILL NOT be getting a jeep or dealing with dodge ever again. This is ridiculous as it's a recall for this safety system in the car and I'm driving it making myself sicker and sicker and doing GOD knows what to my brain and/or lungs. This is so freaking ridiculous and frustrating.

So I have been dealing with " chrysler cares" for about 6 months now ... so to make it short .. truck died ( only a few years old ) Chrysler shop could not get the part was on back order a week shy of two months .. I was guided to Chrysler cares ... what a joke ... I don't even think they are real ... I was promised the payments my truck sat dead ... 15 case managers ... no one calls back ... they have all my personal info ... kept asking me to resend it ... nother ever resolved ... no return phone calls .. don't waste your time .. because at this point ...I have my truck back ... but wasted a lot of hours on the phone with people who truly don't care !! Your new name should be CHRYSTLER DONT CARE !!!

This is hands down the worst customer service in any industry. Chrysler is an absolute mess. They don't honor their warranties, they drag their feet to even order the parts, and they keep cars for repairs for WEEKS. DO NOT buy a. Chrysler, Jeep, dodge, etc vehicle. The service that follows is criminal. They had my van for 5 weeks replacing the transmission under warranty and it's still breaking down. The 800 number reps hang up on you repeatedly. And when you actually get through to complain about a dealership, you're given a PO Box to MAIL your written complaint too. Not email, MAIL.

What kind of a corporation delivers the recall parts to the dealership and doesn't include the special nut to complete the installation!!!! What is wrong with this company ?

i need replacement brakes on my 2021 Dodge Challenger. no parts available so I call the help desk. Over numerous days, waiting on a return call that never happen. At this point I will NEVER buy another vehicle from this company.

The so called customer service representatives I spoke with were utterly unprofessional, unknowledgeable & marvels of inefficiency. They did not answer any of my very fair, valid simplistic questions even after repeating them half a dozen times. Chrysler Corporation should be ashamed of themselves to employ such hopelessly incompetent customer assistance representatives. I will never buy a Chrysler or Chrysler brand vehicle again, strictly because of the customer service ineptitude...

I had the transmission replaced in my work truck several months ago, it has since gone out again. It should be covered uulnder the part warranty service. It's been at my mechanic where it was originally replaced for 3 weeks now. They've been jumping through hoops with forms, procedures, diagnostics and testing at Chrysler's request but apparently what's being asked of them at this point is beyond their ability. It now needs to be towed to the local dealer. I've been told that Chrysler will not pay for the tow from the mechanic to the dealer much less the tow to the mechanic which was over $1200. I'm also told by the dealer that he doubts he can even look at it this week. This is my work truck and I've been out of work for over 3 weeks now!

I will probably never buy a Chrysler or Chrysler brand vehicle again. I have the corrosion on all 4 of my doors of my 2018 Jeep Wrangler which is a manufacturing process defect by the way. I went in to get a quote from the dealership and it was near $3k. I contacted Jeep 'Cares', and they told me to kick dirt essentially, even though my warranty just expired. I wasn't expecting them to completely pay for it, but at least help me out with it. I learned that Jeep and Chrysler doesn't care at all and I will never buy another Chrysler vehicle after this experience.

I have never been completely dismissed or completely hung up on by a customer service establishment until dealing with chrysler/jeep customer service. They will do everything in their power to not help you at all. Worst experience. Will never purchase another Chrysler vehicle strictly because of the customer service.

When my jeep motor seized it took 5.5 months to get a new motor. I was patient and understanding for the first 4 months.
But when the new motor that had a 100,000 mile warranty on it seized after only 9000 miles due to a manufacture defect and they took another two months to get me a replacement and refused to cover a rental expense to cover their shotty work, I viewed to make sure that everyone I could reach would be for warned about their incredulous customer service policies.

Their is no real customer "service," its customer dictatorship and to bad so sad that our screw up has inconvenienced you to the tune of $2,000+

Buyer beware!

Three times now a rodent has chewed through my O2 sensor wires costing me 2500 dollars because one time it damaged the wiring harness. Can your engineers quit using vegetable oil in the wiring.

I purchased a 2019 grand Cherokee new from a dealership. And had good luck with it up until this year April 2023.
Then I got a check engine light, at 80,000 miles. Engine had cam lobe wear, lifters ,ect... Chrysler didnt want to cover any repairs, they told me sorry it's out of warranty. But the problem is this is a known issue , it effects smaller number of vehicles. And the track record shows that Chrysler has been trying to fix this issue with their vehicles since 2015. $4,000 bill, and drove the vehicle 5k more , now it has more problems. In the same area. The dealership (Albany Chrysler) in Minnesota wants to charge me another $1100. I was so done I took a hit on trading it in and got rid of the vehicle. I WILL NEVER BUY A CHRYSLER PRODUCT EVER AGAIN !! WHAT JUNK!!

My husband works in the oilfield and drives over 100 miles per day, 7 days a week. Several years ago, he decided to try out a new RAM. It turned out to be a great truck, so when he decided to trade in, he bought another one. We owned the 2nd Ram for 2.5 years. In that time, we replaced the fuel pump 13 times. We thought it was just the truck, so he traded in and upgraded from a 1500 to a 2500. This truck barely had 50K miles when the transmission went out. We took it to the dealership. We were told they couldn't give us a loaner because of his career, but that they would reimburse us. We paid over $900/month for the payments while the truck sat at the lot for 6 months. When we began talking with Chrystler for our reimbursement, they asked what we would like to get and they'd see what they could do. We asked for what we made payments on only while the truck was at the lot (it wasn't fair that we still had to make payments on a truck they had for so long). Chrystler ended up responding that they weren't going to pay us anything at all. Whenever we tried to contact them to find out why, they ignored our calls.

Posted by 2022 Durango RT overheated

2022 Dodge Durango RT with less than 6000 miles on it overheated! Brought the car to local Dodge/Chrysler dealer. It is the 6th day already as the car is still at the dealership. Somehow it takes 5 days to deliver the parts from NJ to NY (border states, 20-55 minute drive). You would think that the multi-billion-dollar corp will go out of their way to fix the problem and get this done asap to avoid the embarrassment to make sure to avoid bad publicity. Not even close. They don't really care. Just found out the dealership is the stand-alone entity and there is no way to file a complaint on them. Unheard of. Local shop would have done this the same day. But am i supposed to pay for it if the car is under warranty? Already paying for this junk almost $700 a month. Last time. No more Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler for me. What a disappointment. Horrible service.

I own a 2016 ram eco diesel and with the recall z46 going on for over a year now and no end in sit they have told me that if ANYTHING happens to my truck or family while driving it all they can say is have it towed in and just have it sit and wait for parts. They will not pay for a rental or anything. I'm sorry but they even said this could cause an accident and to top it off I was never told about this recall when I spent thousands on this truck. The customer service was rude and didn't care about anything but money just like this company. Guess I should have stuck with my fords.

My 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was under MOPAR extended factory warranty from Chrysler. This warranty covered everything bumper to bumper.
In March, my engine started to shake and the check engine light came on. I immediately took my car in for servicing at Bayside Chrysler in Queens, NY. The dealership informed me that my engine needed to be replaced as the cylinder heads were blown. This was a shock to me because I serviced that car every 3 months from Bayside. How could the engine just blow?
The dealership told me that Mopar and Chrysler would need to inspect the original engine to see why it failed before replacing.
I did not receive an update until May... this was over 2 months renting cars to get to and from work and to pick up groceries.
When I received the update from MOPAR, they denied my claim. DENIED!
Saying the engine was driven at an overheated state and therefore its my responsibility. This was ridiculous and i was beyond frustrated. I am the driver of a car, not a mechanic. The hood never smoked and the temperature gauge was always within the normal allowance. How am i supposed to know my engine is overheating if the car doesn't tell me?
To continue this nightmare, the dealership said i could have my motor-less vehicle back or pay out of pocket for $14,000 to have it fixed.
MOPAR should have covered my cost as my car was under warranty. I will NEVER buy CHYLSER or any affiliated brands with MOPAR. I am beyond mad and completely disappointed. I am out of pocket now $14,000 plus all my rental car expenses. MOPAR and CHRYSLER need to rectify this immediately!

RAM/Chrysler 2022 Bighorn 1500 is Junk. This truck has had issues since the day I bought it. The u-Connect Radio system will make a Loud Electrical pop, then the LCD screen will go blank and the radio will then turn itself off. It will take about 60-120 seconds to finally reboot and turn back on by itself. When it does this, I lose my back up camera which is a Safety issue. It knows out my dashboard lights, speedometer, Defroster which is a Safety issue, Air conditioner and heater and radio.

Another issue is the fan motor will change speeds by itself. It will be set on the lowest setting and then go full blast for no reason then back to low and then high and then low. I do Not have temperature control, so there is an issue.

Both the Radio and Fan motor have been replaced and it did Not fix the issue. 45 minutes after they were installed, the Same issues happened. I even have it on Video, and the Dealerships and RAM/CHYRSLER Refuse to replace or fix the issue, as they say they can't rely on the video and need to witness it in person which is a joke.

The truck will jerk back and forth when I take my foot off the gas like the transmission can't get in the right gear.

All I get is the Run Around from RAM/CHRYSLER. They Close out Complaint tickets and do not even address them or call you back. Their customer service is incompetent and does not know anything. All they do is make excuses and drag their feet.

RAM/Chrysler Recorded our phone calls and did Not make me aware the that call was recorded. I advised them of the law, and they Continue to Violate it every single time they call and I even sent them the Federal and State Laws on recording calls.

RAM/Chrysler does NOT back their product. All they do is make excuses and I WOULD NOT buy a RAM or CHRYSLER at all. They have had U-Connect issues for over 8 years now I found out from a manager and do Not know how to fix it just like the "Death Wobble" in the Jeeps.

ALL they are worried about is taking your money and Not Providing a Safe Vehicle for you and your family and all on the road to drive in and be around.

The Worst Vehicle and Customer Service Ever and biggest piece of JUNK Truck ever. DO NOT BUY and Buyer BEWARE of RAM/Chrysler.

My son recently received a quote on a 2021 Ram truck from Fort City Chrysler in Fort St. John, BC. It included a $2000 charge for a 5 year/ 100000km manufacturer's extended warranty. He wanted a longer extended warranty (7 year/160000km) but the quote from the dealership was over $7000. A bit of research revealed that the longer warranty could be purchased at other dealerships for significantly less. I contacted other Ram dealerships for prices on both extended warranties only to be informed by a dealership that the truck already had the shorter extended warranty. It is apparent that Fort City Chrysler was attempting to charge my son $2000 for an extended warranty that already existed. The sales manager confirmed that the truck did indeed have the extended warranty and that the quote was provided to my son by a salesperson before the details about any warranties on the truck were reviewed. He also indicated that the $2000 charge would have been reversed before my son purchased the truck. I find it odd that, after several days of negotiating, this alleged error was not discovered until the dealership was made aware of it. It certainly provides evidence of a lack of professionalism on the part of the sales staff. Given my experience, it might be prudent for current and future customers of the dealership to ensure that they review their vehicle quotes very carefully for any unnecessary charges.

Seems chrysler can't get a fix for the 2021 ram 3500 so all they say is park the truck and we will try to have a fix by the end of the YEAR..Totally unacceptable my truck has been parked now for 3 months Chrysler needs to reimburse us for the payments and insurance we still have to pay while waiting.

If you want to save money never buy a Chrysler or dodge vehicle. I have a 2018 caravan and have never witnessed so much trouble in all my life. At only 140,000km the transmission is now gone and gonna cost at least $4000 to replace. Called customer service twice and all I got was sorry nothing we can do. I highly recommend to save your money and NEVER buy from Chrysler cause there nothing but trouble

I have a 2020 and a 2019 Cherokee V6.
The grand Cherokee is too big and expensive. The smaller jeeps are too small with insufficient power. I don't want a wrangler that's too tall to get in and out of Easily. Therefore the Cherokee is the perfect size and power for my daily use. Chrysler is planning on discontinuing the Cherokee in favor of an expensive Chrysler electric car which I will never buy. When it comes time to trade my two Cherokees I would be looking for another Cherokee not anything else sold by Chrysler. It seems like Chrysler will lose my business forever. Just tell me you're going to keep the Cherokee in the new inventory even if it is electric. In my central area of the United States electric charging stations are a few and I don't want to have to plan a trip based upon charging stations.

I have three Jeep wranglers. I'm a jeep for life kinda gal

Chrysler Customer Service took a call from a very upset Jeep customer in February 2022.

In November 2021, my personal mechanic of eight years, showed me that my left rear shock had a seeping leak. I took it to my previous dealership,(Wallace Jeep in Stuart, Fl) where I had purchased two brand NEW Jeep Wranglers.
One in 2015, and one in 2020.

They not only refused to replace the shock, or send in the information to Chrysler, the Service manager was rude, contemptuous, and told me that "mechanics do things so that customers think things are broken".

I reached out to Chrysler to ask for a replacement based on what another dealership had found after I took it to them to check.

Chrysler Customer Care Ryan...1-844-533-7928( Ext 406-2181) was absolutely awesome!

In February 2022, my leaking shock was replaced at no cost to me even though it was slightly now over 36,000 mile warranty for this.

Customer Service mattered to Chrysler Customer Care, and I am very appreciative!

leased a 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn. Overall great truck. dont like... shift selector. go back to the old style. dont like the engine shut off option. Always forget to disable it when starting the truck. In traffic when it shuts off, it is not smooth starting at all!!

After dealing with other car dealerships in our Wasilla and Anchorage area... we would highly recommend LYTHIA in WASILLA. We arrived at the dealership half an hour before they closed (7:30pm) and test drove a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. Even though the dealership closed, there was never a sense that we were inconveniencing them. We were at the dealership until .. roughly .. 12:30am and this was due to other businesses being closed, etc..and does not reflect on the team that sold us our car. We were treated with respect; fairly; and i have recommended this dealership to my family members.

To Whom It May Concern:

I have wanted to write about my 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager for quite some time now. I do understand, dealing with the public can be frustrating and nothing but negative feedback. I want to express how much I have appreciated and loved my van. For fifteen years and almost 300K miles later, she is still carrying me back and forth to work and store, etc. Her appearance could hold up to any new one on the lot. You built her well, the engine is still going strong and with just the general maintenance, I am happy to report, once again you have built an exceptional vehicle for me and my family. I will be looking in the future for one just like her. Thank you for allowing me the time to share a little bit about my experience. I truly have not one bad thing to say. If anyone wants a van, Grand Voyager is definitely the vehicle you should choose for yourself and family. It extremely roomy, comfortable and can hold anything you purchase from Lowes. Thank you again for keeping us safe all these years.

Very Truly Yours,

Christine L. Mitchell

My husband and I were looking for a vehicle over a month. We narrowed it down to the Chrysler Town and Country Touring-L with specific options. We have two young children so we definitely were not wanting to pound the pavement. We opted to use the internet/e-mail to price and communicate. After we test drove a vehicle at a local dealership in Melbourne, Florida we sat down to talk price. Once we sat down we were not even close to the price discussed on the phone the day before. $4,500 difference. End result, no car. To make matters worse we received searing looks from two sales staff that my husband asked questions in the carlot two weeks prior. Very uncomfortable feeling, and our afternoon was wasted with empty promises, just to get us in their dealership.
July 4th again we were promised a great deal, exact car we wanted, the price was worked out, we drove to Merritt Island, Florida, nice Internet staff, poor management with customer greetings. No deal! We were told what we wanted for the price discussed was impossible.
We left feeling defeated, exhausted, and the kids were over the process more so then we were.
I was determined to not give up. I returned home and sent two e mails one to a dealer in Ft. Pierce, Florida and the other to a dealership in Titusville, Florida.
Communication with the Ft. Pierce dealership was okay, no real answers to questions on vehicle price when given the same window sticker as the other dealerships. They said they could get the car for us, no real pricing answer.
The same issue was found with Greenway Chrysler in Orlando. Their internet salesman would just send a blanketed e-mail asking if he could answer any additional questions when the first few hadn't been answered. Difficult internet sales communication.
The same can be said for Fields Chrysler in Sanford.
TITUSVILLE was the great exception!! Finally...
There on-line Internet sales manager (Denise) e-mailed a price for the exact vehicle we wanted rather quickly. I responded letting her know where we wanted to be price wise, she had her General Manager (Lee) call me. He asked me questions about our trade, questions with financing length, what was our monthly car payment goal. Once we agreed on price he asked me to simple e-mail him what I believed was our agreement and he would look it over and approve. (This was a great idea since we lived so far away, and we had bad experiences twice.) I detailed out monthly price, length of finance, options, color specifics, trade information, and that we didn't qualify for Specific rebates ( ie. Military or student discounts). He sent an e-mail back quickly agreeing to all that we discussed. This of course took my husband and I both by surprise. Our attempts with the other dealerships were less than pleasant, and this GM was so professional and straight forward as well as his Internet Manager Denise.
We scheduled a ballpark time of arrival since we live as far south as you can go in Brevard County.
We were greeted as we drove up, the GM welcomed us nicely and our personal time was not treated lightly, especially with two young children. Amy in their finance department was very professional and explained everything as she went through all the paperwork.
Our vehicle was ordered so with us having a vehicle to trade in it left us without a car to return home. The GM had already arranged for us to have a loaner van until our van was ready. To add, we purchased the car paint sealant and window treatment. They also scheduled this service to be performed prior to our vehicle being delivered to our home by the Internet Manager Denise. This saved us time and money, as well as completing the full service feel.
What a great team! What a great dealership!

I highly recommend this dealership not only for the courteous professionalism, but for their honesty and personal touch.
I really believe this is a standard for them, not a stroke of luck.
Most people comment on bad experiences, and not the good.

With great appreciation we thank you,
The P Family

I was very happy with the way I was treated. Took my pt cruiser in because of some transmission issues and was told my life time warranty was voided since I did not do the free 5 year inspection. Called Chrysler customer service and indeed they told me it was voided because of the 5 year service, she looked up every thing and said I see you are a loyal customer over the years and she would send it up for review, I got the answer the next day I was approved and the set up a appointment for me to bring the car in. Also all this time they were the most Courteous people I have ever talked to on the phone.

After seeing Chrysler involvement in the community nI am determined that Chrysler is the car for me. It sustained my family when we were children and Chrysler remains a big part of the lives of those who live in Detroit. My father was a welder and many days we ate because of chrysler thank you

I recently rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee to drive from LA to SF, stopping along the way at wineries and enjoy the area. We had a problem with the elect. winder and took the car to the San Luis Osbisbo dealer to have warrentee work done. I wanted to thank the service department and in particular the manager (wearing a suit and has long hair). He got the part in quickly and Squeezed me in so we could continue our vacation dispite knowing we will never be back again as a returning customer. The dealership is very professional, well equipped, and accomdating. Thankyou. We also liked the winery auggested by the manager.
