I don't know why I have to pay for an answer to my question. I have talked with 5 different people at Kroger so far and I even tried to get my question answered through the website but it would cost me. So I'd like to know why I can't get an answer to my question about getting my groceries delivered? You need a phone number where customers can contact a live person to talk to when they have questions.

Your website is confusing, impossible to get to what you're looking for to give feedback on a product. Who keeps their receipt long enough to give you the complex detailed info you request. Are we supposed to write the receipt number, date of purchase and other information on the top of a can of corn we might try 3 months later. Ridiculous. If you don't want feed back, balls up and say "we don't take feed because we don't care".
This is the first time I've written but not the first time I should have. For the most part your Kroger Brands are far inferior to national brands. Today it's your Kroger Cling Wrap, I bought 200 sq ft box a few months ago. What a waste of my money. The box immediately came apart, the wrap is almost impossible to get out and cut off and if you're lucky enough to get it out it clings to nothing but itself. Worst I've ever used. I'm pretty sure you don't care but I do. I'm 71 and live on a fixed income and it important buy quality products that work.

My wife visited the finneytown location to use fuel points. She arrives 10 minutes before closing and the cashier told her she was closed and to use a credit card. My wife explained that she only had cash . The Kroger employee said she was closed and didn't owe and explanation for why she was closing early and couldn't help my wife. This is not customer service and this behavior happens all too often at certain Kroger locations. We used to do the majority of our grocery shopping at Kroger, not anymore.

I normally Do Not Give reviews unless absolutely necessary. And trust me it's necessary. So I go to Kroger with a friend, and decide to get some chicken. I order the $5 for $5. Let's move to the end, The Chicken is disgusting. Like there's some nasty taste in it. What in thee entire F..k. And I mean that! What did you guys do to that chicken? Or better yet, where did that chicken come sourced from? Because, I want an investigation. I wish I can show the pictures. But I do have the receipt! Not too mention the lack of communication experience from the worker. But that I can survive. But I don't know what I just put in my body. I'm am entirely MORTIFIED. SOMEONE NEEDS TO REACH OUT TO ME ASAP. [email protected]

Your Kroger's in Lebanon Indiana suck and your person u got behind the service desk is not always behind there all wise talking to one your employee at the cashier checking out not where they should be so your standing in line waiting on your employee that post to behind the service desk has to Waite or until like me gets attitude and say something to that person happens all time u think in a small town that wouldn't happen but knw it does and in Indianapolis there always some one behind the service desk u need to change that

Kroger has really went down with customer service. I went to Kroger, almost spend $100.00 and added a weekly deal that would not go in the system and the cashier gave me such a difficult time that I had to walk away.
I will be doing the majority of my shopping at HEB bc this is ridiculous that you have to show your phone to show that u clipped a coupon.

Husband forgot loyalty card. Cashier did not ask for number to apply discount. Customer service stated they would apply 70 fuel points after a 30 minute phone call. Has not shown up on account as of yet. Poor experience all around. Food Lion is a farther drive but much better for our family budget.

I would love to continue to use their delivery service but I no longer will. First of all prices are high on non sale items. Secondly most items I want to order are out of stock. Thirdly they are always late first few times it was within ten minutes past the late time in the window. Today my order was supposed to be delivered between noon and 1p and they were here at 2:10 pm. Work second shift and leave 2:15 cut way too close

Kroger's prices are way too high they raised everything a dollar this week and give you a dollar off coupon in the paper they're not saving you no more money. Walmart in meijer's is the cheapest place to shop at for the same items and the same name items. You need to put Krogers on strike and start shopping elsewhere their prices are ridiculous they're gouging their prices
Y'all need to quit shopping at Kroger's and go to meijer's and Walmart
Check the prices out people wake up Kroger's is way too expensive.... other stores has the same item and cheaper.. Krogers don't care about saving you money no more. Please take time and check out the prices put Kroger's on strike!

I placed an order for delivery for Saturday, July 29 between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
For over a year Kroger kept posting on their website that the driver will contact you when they arrive. But Kroger customer service representatives, supervisors and corporate office personnel kept telling me that it's not their policy. But they ignored my question why they had it on their website.
I have to keep going back and forth in my apartment building looking for the delivery truck.
This morning about 15 minutes to 6:00 I thought I heard a truck pulling into the complex. I opened the front door of the building and thought I heard an engine running. But it was dark outside and I didn't know if I heard the air conditioners of the other residents. Turned out the driver turned off every light on the truck. Normally I could see the flashers and the lights on the corners of the box.
Since it had just rained and I was in my stocking feet I ran up the two flights of stairs and slipped on my shoes.
At the same time my doorbell rang. I immediately went down the stairs. As soon as I reached the second flight I saw my groceries laying on the filthy sidewalk. I asked the driver why he dumped my groceries on the ground.
He rudely responded that he had the RIGHT to leave the groceries on the ground if I didn't answer the door.
He either put the bags on the ground right before or immediately after ringing the doorbell. He was too lazy and incompetent to wait 10-15 seconds for me to get to the door.
Also he was 10 minutes before the scheduled delivery window.
He had no intention to be professional and hand me the bags.
He needs to be terminated.

We're having trouble with sign in right now. Please disable any pop up or ad blockers and try again. Get this all the time ,most the time you can get around it a few ways but not for the last few days. So many post all over the net guess they don't really want anyone to use it. Also if you pay on Wednesday but pick up any day after you will not get the deals/coupons,this is just bad business. Was told it's policy when
I called the store and the customer service.

I recently was in Kroger in Atoka TN
I was purchasing bone-in ribeyes
I needed 4 and all the ones in the counter had only 3
The single ones were much more per pound
I asked a meat department associate if I could get a pack with 4
He was not very interested in my request and was not friendly at all
He said it would probably be an hour before that could be done
I'm not very happy at this point!!!
My daughter and I spend a lot of money at this location but that is going to change!!!

I tried to make an online grocery delivery order and it was rejected.I called and talked to someone and she said no one in that department can help you till Monday. It was on Sunday morning. After I was on hold several times and on the phone for 30 minutes a recording came on and then it hung up and left me without food. I would expect this from Walmart but NEVER FROM KROGER.

Kroger is quickly declining as far as I'm concerned. I have shopped Kroger stores many years, (ever since Winn Dixies closed) I have already stopped using the pharmacy due to poor customer service and never being able to get new scripts or my refills in a timely manner. I'm very careful with getting produce anymore. Cartersville was horrible for a time. Woodstock can be hit or miss with some varieties. The worst is stores are cutting down on customer service where it matters most, more so Woodstock Ga. The front checkout. Most of my business has been with the marketplace store in Cartersville Ga. They are not always convenient for me based on my home and especially my work location. I only go there if I need a large amount of groceries. The store is entirely too large. I have to navigate ares I don't want or need to find what I do want. But at least there's usually cashiers and baggers. I've tried order pick up and it's okay. I find my produce is not always to my liking, either quantity or quality. If I chose no substitution I find I get some substitutions anyway and can't always see them until I'm at pickup. By then it's too late to go through the hassle to deny or switch it out. If I'm only shopping for a few things it's not worth a drive to that store. I tend to stop at the Woodstock hwy 92 store just to grab a few things on my way home. Today may have just stopped that. The store itself is busy. They're putting more and more displays throughout the store making it cluttered. Some areas difficult to navigate. The worst part is trying to get across the front of the store and through checkout. (I was able to get what i needed rather quickly and easily otherwise). The checkout process almost had me dropping my items on the counter and leaving without -- which usually i would never do. There was One cashier and she was backed up almost halfway down an aisle. One side of the self checkouts were open. Two of the belt style and several of the stands registers. Lines for one belt self was the shortest line at the time so I chose to get in it. (Not something I like to do, I've already worked all day. Have a splitting headache so the last thing I'm wanting to do is check and bag my own items). The other belted and stands also had a line almost to the back of the store. By now its almost impossible to get across the front of the store or navigate certain isles because of people trying to get to a check out. I get up to the register,(something not foreign to me, I'm an old-school cashier, I was one of the fasted of my day) this belted register is the worst ever. You scan your item and have to position it just right in order for it to get scanned again by two sidebars as it travels down the belt; not far away from the actual scanner. If you shove it (which by habit I do) or don't sit it just right for those lights to catch it, it brings the process to a halt until the customer service clerk can come rescan it for you. Long story short it's a longer, more drawn out process, especially if you try to go faster than the thing is set to scan. Now you've got to get to the bag carrousel and bag your items before the person behind you can start. The process is absolutely ridiculous. There's one customer service person watching. 2 or 3 folks behind the customer service desk totally oblivious to anything else going on around them. The Woodstock Kroger for sure is doing no one any favors by going mostly to self checkout, with customer service practically none existant. I spent 12 years in a grocery store in late 80s- early 90s and am no stanger to grocery ins and outs. Kroger making an attempt to improve in todays society in my opinion is costing them in the long run. I'm finding I'm taking more and more of my business to Aldi and Lidl and I think all will be there from now. Yes I have to bag my own groceries but I dont have to check them out too. The aisles are alway stocked and easy to navigate. Kroger you are on your way out for me.

Kroger, on Cheviot and North Bend has left me very frustrated. I have been going there for 3 years on and off and today was the last time I will shop inside that store. I have tolerated self checkout cashiers talking on their Bluetooth and cussing, I have tolerated staff talking with other staff about other customers or even better their managers. I have witnessed produce staff drop items on the floor o my to put it back on the fresh shelf. Today I had an emergency. I left my full cart next to the restroom 3 staff were there including the female who DENIED me asking her specifically to watch it, I have an emergency, I WILL be coming back. 8 min. My cart was gone, female staff denied me telling her and then walked off. I found her w my cart with items missing and she had the nerve to ask me if everything was there. I had spent 35 min shopping w a list- NO not everything is there bc my produce that I put in bags are not in bags! It's the little things that add up to customer service. We all have bad days, I can empathize, it's hard to find help, I get it. Don't call a customer a liar, she should have deflected that and been helpful
Instead of condescending. Worst customer service in Cheviot. Losing a valued customer. I will be making the drive to Ingles thank you very much!

On July 8, 2023 I ordered groceries delivery online from Kroger. My order was correct and delivered. However, when I got my receipt there was an extra charge of over $138.

I went back online and found I had also been charged for another order that was NOT mine. I understand mistakes happen. I called customer service. She said she would refund me the whole amount. I let her know I was not due the whole amount because I did receive my groceries.

She told me a refund would be issued within five days. This mistake caused my account to go in the negative. (Note: the amount was withdrawn rapidly). I called today July 13, 2023 and to check the status of my refund.

I was on the phone with Angel for over 10 minutes. She ended up telling me it could be another 10 days because I used a credit/debit card. Not being satisfied with that I asked to speak to a supervisor. After 3 minutes of waiting I spoke to Tori. She said It is a process and takes time. She let me know that I could call a direct number if the refund was not issued in a few days.

I called the number today because; if it can come out of the bank that fast it can go in that fast. I talked to Christopher, who ended up transferring me to customer service (mid sentence). He told me there is nothing he could do. I was telling him "Somebody has authority to put it back right away cuz it came out right away!". He said he could transfer me to a customer service supervisor. As I was telling him I already talked to Tori.. I hear elevator music and was on hold.

Kroger has diluted their fuel rewards bonus for giving feedback by not sllowing a survey to be completed every 7 days, as the web site says is allowed.

I recently attempted to complete a survey on 6-17-2023 and was told after I was done that I had completed a survey in the previous 7 days. The last survey I completed was on 6-10-2023.

Apparently they do not know how to count

I won't be shopping at Kroger as long as they have digital coupons that have to be "loaded to your card" in order to get the discount. Not only do me and thousands of other people not want to have to screw around with an additional app on top of the tracking number that Kroger gives us, but even when I've tried to use the "scan in store" to get the discounts, the site is either down or I can't get a cell signal. Finally just left all my digital coupon items behind on this last trip, when they wouldn't give me the discount at the register. Why am I going to go out of my way to shop somewhere when it feels like WORK to do so? No thanks... and it's a shame, I used to really like their stores. FYI the cashiers and customer service folks hate the digital coupon BS as well, re: angry customers / stuff needing to be reshelved / etc. Tried to call Kroger Care line and was hung up on before I could even tell them I was leaving, went to chat, typed in my complaint, no reply... ridiculous. Don't let companies treat you like crap when you don't have to. Cashier today said "you should have loaded your coupons before you came in" ... I didn't know I was gonna stop by, missy. *facepalm*

Let me start off by saying that I haven't cried in years .. a trip to get groceries at a grocery store should never end with me in my bed crying . I always order online and pickup . I live about 40 minutes from the krogers in waycross ga . I went to get my order , typed in on my way and went . I get there , the app finally lets me know that I am 20 minutes too late for pickup and I have to come back. I live too far away to come back the next day . I have a life . As a matter of fact , my son is at university out of state and will be here tomorrow . I don't have the groceries I need for the get together . I went in the store and had to cancel my grocery order even though it was bagged up and ready to go . It was the rules. ... I don't have the list of food on that order or the digital coupons now and I have to grocery shop over again and the storw ( used to be open til 12) announced as soon as I started shopping that I had 20 minutes left til closing . The self check out didn't work right and I got so flustered I left my blueberries and roasted red pepper ..

I just sat down to reevaluate what just happened and Instead of being ok with not getting groceries that I had already shopped for earlie to make it more convenient , I am complaining .
I do all my grocery shopping at that store .
I can't believe how much of a cost astronomical event grocery pickup became tonight .

After a solid month of trying to get customer service to update my card on their website, and talking to someone that sounds like they are talking down to me, I have decided that I will no longer be a customer. This is after being a loyal customer for over 14 years. I was lide to, never contacted when I was told repeatedly that I would be contacted. I'm done.

I had an issue with a ClickList order when not of the discounts were applied and I was charged almost twice of what the order was when I paid for it. I went to the service desk (Debra was very sweet and patient). The associate asked "Shane" about the order and he said they don't have anything to do with ClickList. Kroger ClickList.. at a Kroger Store where I picked it up. I was charged $46.98 and he directed the associate to only return $35.48 because he is unable to count pounds. Last week, I picked up 3 pounds of ground meat only to realize when I went to use it that every one had expired the day before I picked it up. I can only guess under help/leadership of someone like Shane or who would hire someone like him is why the Youree Drive Store is going to Hell in a hand basket. Please check your products and receipts if you use ClickList from this store. Check your bags as well. I uncheck substitutions and they subbed anyway.

I've been shopping at Kroger for over 20 yrs. I would like to comment on Brad who works at Kroger New Haven Indiana. He bags my groceries and always hope he,s there when I shop. He is so kind, very polite, and packs my groceries excellent. He carries my groceries out to help me.I hope you give him praise for his work. Thank you ♥️

I shop at Fredmeyers 7404 N Interstate Blvd, Portland, OR , 97217.
Andrew who works at self check is always friendly & in a positive mood. Andrew took the time to help me and show me how to work the self-check machine better because I get frustrated with those things. He's the only self-check person who has taken his time to help me with my questions instead of just coming up to the machine and fixing it and walking off. Andrew ( I don't know his last name ) is always positive and an asset for Fred Meyer. I'm not putting my email in there.

Alan who was working in customer service in your county line store was great! I rented a rug doctor and he explained throughly my opinions and was extremely accommodating. The man even pushed the carpet cleaner all the way out to my vehicle.! He definitely deserves recognition because customer service like this these days is few and far between Thanks Alan!

I would like to say that I rarely shop at Krogers, but I take care of an elderly man that needs me to shop for him at this particular location. Anyways, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by this very nice employee her name is Karen she is so very knowledgeable on every product that I was looking for! She was even kind enough to Wright the isle number next to each of my products, which was very convenient for my job, so I could hurry up and get back to my 90yr old client. I really think that she deserves a raise, bonus or gift card for her awesomeness!
I will have to come back in there on Thursday and hope to see her again!
My name is Gerrie and I wish we had more of the Positive Karen's in the world...:)
Thank you again Awesome Karen!!!

I went to Kroger's for gas 10th Linwood Indianapolis, I used my Credit card at the pump. The pump was not working so I went to the cashier to let him know I'm not able to pump gas, this was about 7:40am. The heavy set man just start yelling at me. I asked him why are you yelling at me, if you don't like your job you need to find a job you like. He then said the pump is working now, this is NOT the first time this man acted like this with me I let it go several times but this day I was not going to allow him to yell at me. I called the store and reported him to the manager he assured me that he would take care of it. And apologized to me for what happened.

I stopped shopping at Walmart because: I can buy more products selling at BOGO at Dillon's; I also like their heritage farm products, as opposed to Tyson, and they always have EXCELLENT pork specials priced better, but also fresher. They also have some fruit on sale.

At the Kroger Marketplace on Mall Boulevard in Savannah, Georgia, Pam in clothing is an outstanding customer service representative. She listened, found the right item, and even put it on hold for me until I could come back. She is friendly, personable, and knows her stuff. I thought I was in Saks 5th Avenue! Kudos, Miss Pam! Thank you sooo much!

I have been using your order on- line system since the pandemic. Over that time, one assistant, Lindsey, stands out for excellent customer service, at pick-up. Lindsey is tops on discusing the order changes and other procedures associated with the pick-up. She also has a very friendly personality. A great combination in any cutomer oriented business. You should be proud to have Lindsey represent Kroger to your customers.

I was at the Smyrna Kroger on Sam Ridley Pwy on Friday Oct 21, 2022. Employee Keturah Robinson went way out of her way to get me some Kroger Caramel Dip. She went back twice looking for it and then went into the storage to get me some. She deserves praise because she really took customer service to heart. Five stars for Keturah Robinson!!!

Today beginning 02/23/2022. I called into Kroger's customer service support line. Because I was having problems getting into my Kroger's account to where I ended up just creating a new account when I did my fuel points didn't show up on the new account so that's when I called into call center and spoke with and I only got her first name. A Ms. Dabana on the phone and when I tell you she was a breath of fresh air she help me from beginning to end. Getting me back into my old Kroger's account she was so very helpful, she was patient, caring. OMG she was so wonderful you all need to give this young lady a raise. I really enjoyed spoken to her she helped me so much. Thank you for having someone like her taking phone calls to help loyal customers like me.

Hi
The Kroger on Independence and Legacy in Plano Texas removed the huge display of Dot's Pretzels. Stopped carrying them. They are the best pretzel of all you carry. At least put them in the Chip isle. The Synder's copy is terrible by comparison. Bring Dot's back

Let me first point out,I have always shopped at Kroger and I really never had a problem, but just wanted you guys to know I purchased a bag of Kroger Jumbo shrimp and I only had 3 jumbo shrimp and the rest were large, this is the only situation I've ever had, other than that fresh food and friendly service.

The Kroger at Sagehill in Atlanta must adopt a customer mask and gloves policy. It's unacceptable seeing every other person walking with no mask

good customer service. Milk often rotten & spoiled early before exp. date; always willing to refund or exchange, especially location on S. SMithville Rd. Dayton 45410. This is BOTH HOrizon organic $4.50 per half gallon & kroger brand milk (Simple Truth organic is THE worst for rotting early before printed expiration) . I really like the screen displays at register that shoe price for each item rang, & how a display line turns yellow to verify to customer that the kroger card swipe has registered for discount.

On Friday, the supplier for my catering company failed on the quality of product that had been ordered for a top paying client. I was told there was a small Kroger around the corner from the conference.I am used to the bigger stores near my home and was very hesitant about this small store on Byrne in Toledo Oh. Desperate as I was I went in and was blown away by the color and quality of your produce, by Megan in your delicatessen and by a particularly knowledgeable young lady in the produce whose name has been lost but she had short blonde hair. You guys saved the day for me and I just wanted to say thank you from myself and my staff.
Sincerely,
Karen Holtz

I work for Kroger (Smith's) @ customer service. After reading most of these comments, It's clear these associates were not properly trained. You need to return something? Fine. Have a receipt? Even better. I blame management more so than the clerks themselves. These CS people (including myself) are often given mixed messages from different managers. We can always check movement if you don't have a receipt. But if there is no receipt presented, it's going on store credit. If you have one, then it will (SHOULD) be returned to the original form of payment.

I just stumbled upon this page researching if it's against my state's law to perform returns on alcohol sales. Didn't find an exact answer..

I work at a krogers right now as a bagger, planning on changing this soon, and I have to say, after reading a few comments here, I understand why people are frustrated, let me explain this from an employee's point of view:

1) We don't seem to care about the customers because we aren't payed enough. As a bagger I am expected not only to bag peoples groceries, but get carts, run items to the damaged sections across the store, get new items for customers, bring orders out for customers that need them, clean spills and the restrooms, and be kind and friendly. I get payed a whole... $8.00 an hour, with a maximum of $9.25, vs the cashiers who stand behind the register all day and start at $8.00 an hour, max of about $15.00... and I am supposed to care about the customers? I don't get payed enough to care about myself.
2) Management. Don't even get me started on my boss. She is the worst micro-manager around. We switch cart duty every 30 minutes. She expects us to have the lobby full of carts when we switch, which when we are busy... is IMPOSSIBLE. If we leave 1 minute early, we are in the wrong, no matter how early we get there, if we do 1 thing wrong, we are yelled at, if we are talking to the customer too much(which we are supposed to do as part of our job of being friendly to the customer) we get yelled at, need I continue?
3) HR issues. Not so much issues with HR itself, as with accessing HR. My manager had told me repeatedly that I don't need to talk with HR about any issues I may have(as I do have medical issues that I am working on with my doctor) because "it may effect the schedule" so its the managers job to handle it(even though the wonderful HR rep that hired me said specifically they have an open door policy and I can talk with her anytime I need).
4) Sick policy. So krogers is a grocery store, right? So if an employee is actually sick, they should be able to call off to not spread the sickness to the customers, right? WRONG. You need a doctors note to call off, and with the company not paying for any sort of insurance, that is at least 1 days work to see the doctor to have the note that you need. If you don't have the note, you are counted absent without an excuse, and after 3 days absent without excuse, your fired. Also, if you start feeling sick at work, or vomit or something, you should go home right? Again, WRONG. If you leave before your shift is over, even if you truthfully aren't feeling well(not the crap teenagers pull to get out of work/school) you are leaving your post, and are considered quitting. So the company would rather get the customers sick, as long as you are still working? Really?

So yeah, there are issues with employees seeming to not care at krogers because we aren't payed enough to really care. If I had to be honest, never EVER get a job at krogers. It really isn't worth it to get screwed so much. Even unemployment would probably be better then a job at krogers, simply because if you are unemployed you have some freedom.

Sorry about the wall of text, needed to get some of this off my chest, and some explanations to some of the people complaining about the company.

I've been with the Kroger Co. for over 20 years. In the beginning the company WAS all about family, today the company is all about the ole mighty $$$ and the managers/co-managers/district managers and so on's bonuses. Management plays a lot of games with the employee's; With their job positions, hours, and their pay....(they took $4.00 per hour away from one employee just a few weeks ago. The explanation management gave the employee was; she shouldn't have been offered the pay grade 11 years ago) ARE YOU SERIOUS? What company does this? If you anger management (have an opinion), you will be targeted, and this means that they will find a way to demote you any way they can. They promote some interesting individuals to say the very least. I've seen store managers having affairs with associates, and the next month they are promoted to Cincinnati for a corporate position.

this comment is not about a shopping experience, it is about management and I am a former employee. I loved working at Kroger and I mostly loved the customer. I reently left Kroger. I left because the management team at 520 are unprofessional. the store management does not have a voice. she walks around all day leaning on a cart. she only speaks to you when company comes and she does no work. Patricia Vaughn.. she is very ViNDICTIVE AND SPITEFUL, if you don't kiss her ass, she plays with your money,,she will cut your schedule..she plays games. I was there for a little over a year and she chose others who were there later to promote, call in for more hours. she asked me to pick up a piece of paper one day that she was standing over. Why didn't the hussy pick it up she was right there,,,,I was behind the register. she sits on her ass up stairs and thinks of manipulation tactics...She is a very unhappy lady who needs much prayer..if you look at her, she has an upside down smile. That speaks for itself...Maybe if she would go get a makeover, she might feel better...I am praying for Debbie Pat and Author....Corporate should look into the three of them. THEY ARE THE REASON THE TURNOVER RATE IS SO HIGH. NOBODY LIKES THEM!....I LEFT KROGER BY CHOICE!

I work at Kroger Store #562 in Texas. I have worked for Kroger for 29yrs. I am now working as a checker. We were told that we can no longer have a bottle of water at our register or we will be written up. Employee's in other areas of the store walk around with their drinks but yet the front end is being singled out. I give excellent customer service and engage with my customer's all day that gives me dry mouth and it tells me that the manager doesn't really care about their employee's. Please respond to my complaint before I loose my job.
Thank You

managment at kroger 16 myrtle beach sc , favorize two employee than the others in the deli even that those favorized employees dont speak english at all and taking days off they wants and fixed (weekend off) we complaind to the co-manager over deli/bakery but no action has been taken so far and this happening since a year now

Why do you have two standards for your employees at Kroger. the health department states that all employees working in the DELI or FOOD COURT most wear hair nets when
working behind counter. Your employees that do resets and manager seem to feel that the rule concerning hair nets does not apply to people in MANAGEMENT OR FROM THE OFFICE. This has been going on for years and no body seems to care as long as they do not get caught not following health department gudie lines. MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES COMING BEHIND THE COUNTER ARE SUPPOSE TO SET THE EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS.

IT SHOULD NOT BE (DO NOT DO AS I DO , BUT DO AS I SAY) Houston,Texas

I am a former Kroger employee and shopper. All I have to do is buy a product and that product will be discontinued. Kroger formerly carried Bon Ami products which work great and are low on chemical content - discontinued. I love to bake and used Betty Crocker fluffy white icing mix several times a year (superior to my homemade Seven Minute frosting) - discontinued. My husband will only eat Webber's sausage - discontinued. We purchased two pound bags of Spotlight French Roast bean coffee regularly - discontinued. I used to purchase one pound bags of frozen vegetables - discontinued. I could go on and on which I did by writing to Kroger's corporate office. They apologized and said that would "miss my business." I now shop GFS for coffee and vegetables in package sizes worth taking home. I buy Bon Ami products on-line. I purchase Webber sausage products at Remke-Biggs.

I guess that Kroger thinks that customers will take whatever Kroger's throws at them. But I work too hard for my money to buy inferior products and costly teeny packages. Yes, Kroger, I the Customer, have options, even in the Greater Cincinnati market.

I have been an employee for almost 2 decades, and have worked in 4 stores. as the years go by, i can see employees unhappy more and more. management does not seem to care about the people that help to make thier store profitable. i used to enjoy what i did, and to be quite honest because of the favoratism that i see it makes me sick. I also get tired of having to tell customers im sorry, for not having a product, or because of the lack of employees due to hrs. being cut. Kroger needs to open their eyes.. and the yearly surveys, what a joke. management tries to be nice to you a month before and during, then right back to the same hard fisted way of doing things. you want to see your stores clean, well stocked and profitable... well help by making your employees feel like they are worth something to you... and not just a few select ones either.. happy employees make happy customers.

We had 5 employees who saw it and our manager Ray Ann saw video tape. All employees was waiting for punishment for Terresa but everything is queit. Our union representive talked to store manager and she said she does not have proof what happend. Even though 5 employees saw it and union guy saw a tape. Employees would like to see that manager written up for not doing anything about it and Terresa schould be susspended from her position. Manager the store written up some employess for a little things like not smile or customer survice is durty. But she did not do anything about this case. I want to bring attention to it distric manager and see some punishment.
