Worst customer service I've ever seen in any company..Ongoing problems with LG refrigerator since 2019 to 4/11/2024.
Every call I've made I was told someone would be back to me in 24 to 48 hours..Get the same lie ever werk..and after all these years. STIIL NOTHING

The order is INCOMPLETE! Along with the dishwasher are an installation kit and power chord. When the crew brought in the dishwasher, they did take the old dishwasher out.As they were taking out the old dishwasher I asked about the installation kit and power cord and if there was any paperwork that needed to be signed. The lead crew member told me he would would be right back in with the rest of the order. That was the last I saw or heard from them. They left my front door and porch gate open. With the gate open it allowed my service dog to exit and I had to run him down. Additionally, with no installation kit or power cord I do not have the use of the dishwasher or my kitchen sink. When I realized they were gone, after I retrieved my service dog, I called the 800 466 3337 number and was told that the crew would be contacted and that I would receive a call back. No call back has been received. I was also told that I have 48 hours to notify Home Depot of any defects in dishwasher. I cannot have my dishwasher installed so I have no way to determin if there are any defects in the dishwasher! I have family coming for dinner this Saturday for a celebration of life for our recently deceased daughter-in-law that I have to cancel. I need to express how disappointed I am with this purchase from Home Depot. Please come back and pick up the dishwasher. I will purchase one from a different source.

Although I love my LG French door refrigerator I am extremely disappointed in the company. I needed to replace a door which I purchased from a local company. The LG insignia was not included in the box. The company contacted LG and was told there is a charge for the insignia, approximately $20.00. This is to advertise the company. I contacted Corporate LG who called my local company to verify the purchase. It was verified but we would still have to pay to get the insignia. This is cheap, inconsiderate, and disrespectful of the company. I would rather spend money on an insignia from a different brand than purchase one from LG!

I had a brand new fridge out of the box that would not cool. It is now a month later, and LG is still not helping me fix the fridge, but just giving me the run around. The service center they hired to fix the fridge does not have the correct parts, and they are not helping me.

I ordered a washer and dryer set at the end of October from LGs website. Total inconvenience but delivery is only during the week when everyone has to work. I scheduled delivery for a month out, on a Friday, the only day I was going to be off work during the week that wasn't a holiday. The day I was supposed to get the items delivered, I hadn't even heard from the delivery company for my time window. I called LG and they told me delivery was going to be the following Monday. I told them that wasn't what I scheduled it for and to cancel as I was not taking a day off work for them to deliver. I was told it would take 10 to 15 business days for them to receive the product back, then I would receive an email acknowledging they received the product and within a few days. I would receive my refund. 15 business days later I call and ask for an update as there was no email or refund. I was advised the product hadn't been shipped back and to give it 8 to 10 more business days. 10 business days later, still nothing so I call LG again. This time I'm told there is no update and it will take 24 to 48 hours for a request for an update to go through. They've had my money for almost two months so I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Hopefully they will get an answer. I will NEVER purchase an LG product again and highly suggest you stay as far away from this company as possible.

We reached out to LG regarding our microwave. It took them FOREVER to finally send a tech guy out. The tech said that the microwave needed to be replaced bc it had several issues. Instead of LG replacing the microwave they had the tech come back out and replace the door and the panel. In other words, they kept trying to avoid replacing the microwave, and instead they preferred to try to rebuild it. Now we are still having issues with the microwave and it will not heat at all. We have tried reaching out to them several times and keep getting the run around. They recently texted my husband the name of 3rd party to assist us, and they too are not returning any phone calls, We are still under warranty for the product and they will not make good on it, We will NEVER BUY another LG product again. Buyer be aware. I give them an minus zero. And even that is generous.

In a a world that's increasingly apathetic about post sales service, LG is the worst.
Bought a TV which worked fine for a while but then developed a crack on the LCD screen. After being passed around various departments and making numerous phone calls, they put me in contact with the President's Liaison office. I explained the issue, sent them pictures of the product & they agreed to subcontract to a local repair shop. It too about a month for the local shop to "get all the right parts shipped"
When the local guy showed up, I was told that LG had not shipped him the right parts & I needed to reconnect with them. Which I did & was subsequently told that my product was out of warranty & couldn't be fixed.
Their whole service system including thru President Liaison offfice, is a fraud & they need to disallowed for selling products in the US.

We purchased a LG Smart TV that is Alexa voice activation. The remote in the box was not capable of what is advertised. We thought by calling customer service they would send us one that works but they say we need to purchase that separately. I will never buy another LG TV so be aware of false advertising.

Since November2 I have been attempting to fix my oven. A couple of days ago, I sat in my house waiting for two repairmen. One scheduled between 8am and noon. The other I was told would be here between 1 pm and 5 pm. Neither ever showed up, texted or called. Now they are telling me they will be calling on Nov.20. I believe they think the oven door needs replacing, but since the "first repair" not only does the dented door to be replaced, but now the oven itself was broken when the door was replaced.
The only thing LG will say is they will call me next Monday.
Today is the 16th of November this started on Nov. 2nd.
DO NOT BUY LG PRODUCTS.
I unfortunately bought five appliances about a year ago. To date, the hood vent was delivered with an enormous dent. The refrigerator had to have the icemaker replaced, and now the oven.

I have been waiting MONTHS for my LG built in Microwave and it keeps getting pushed back. The store can not tell me anything except it's backordered. I have a hole in my wall where it is supposed to be put in. HELP!

I purchased a new stove in June. The oven has not worked since we got it. They sent a repair man three times. Wrong part, broken part4, another wrong part. Finally, they sent a LG repair. They needed to order another part. No time table for part to arrive. You think I need a new stove. I do. But lg stinks as a company especially customer service.

First of all let me say I truly hate using social media like this. What's even a bigger shame is what customer service has become. I posted on social as a last ditch effort. It was really UNBELIEVABLE that it took posting on social media for LG to resolve a problem that I had called them about 24 TIMES the week before??? It's ridiculous! I spent hours upon hours on the phone with them last week. Called them several times a day.
All of this over this ONE issue my lg refrigerator that I purchased under a year ago for over $3900 broke and I wanted it fixed or replaced. Either one was fine with me. Its taken all of this to get ANYTHING accomplished. Not to mention I haven't had a refrigerator for a month! What in the world has customer service come to?
There were only TWO people who really helped me. Priestley and Charles. Priestley over the phone getting me the credits and Charles on messenger getting me the correct pricing.
After ranting on social media , Charles contacted me. Stating LG couldn't adjust the price per say but Charles offered me at 15% off coupon instead. Which is cheaper than the price lg said they would honor in the beginning. That works. Now the shipping, because it's taken this long I can't get it before my dinner party even with expedited shipping. So it's scheduled to be delivered this Monday. SERIOUSLY?? I even paid for installation and expedited shipping myself. Which technically I shouldn't have due to the fact I paid for this on the original refrigerator. I didn't say a word about it to Lg figuring there was bigger fish to fry. I'm doing my part to help get this resolved. Lg can't do their part and get this to me Friday instead of Monday? ?
REALLY?? I mean LG has a brand new 829,000-square-foot home appliance manufacturing facility in Clarksville TN. That's an hour and a half away from me. This is a NEW $360 million dollar manufacturing plant makes LG home appliances!!! And your telling me you can't get ONE refrigerator and stove to me by Friday?? But you can on Monday??Social media unfortunately may be the route needed to get anything resembling customer service accomplished but word of mouth still counts too. After all 77% of consumers are more likely to buy a product if their friends recommended it. With over 50 people attending a dinner party at my house THIS Saturday and me without a refrigerator I wonder how well the word of mouth concerning LG will be then.
If Mr Park, President Customer Care for LG Electronics takes anything away from this, it is that you need to seriously take a good look at your customer service. What I went thru was RIDICULOUS and it gives your department and company a bad reputation. Again Priestley and Charles YOU ROCK!! They deserve a raise and a promotion!! Hopefully LG can help get over this last hump!

Worthless LG front load washer! The counterweights fell off due to a cheap plastic outer tub design. LG repaired under warranty, after several weeks. The same crappy parts broke again, now out of warranty. This time causing worse damage. LG refused, repeatedly, to fix it. I got less than 4 years use out of a $1000 washer! I even made a BBB claim. LG still refused to fix it. And, the gas dryer isn't much better. Have to run the same load twice to dry the clothes. And, 90% of the time, I get a D80 error. I've repeatedly cleaned the vent, pipe, and lint trap. No change. LG is total junk! Wouldn't recommend LG to my worst enemy!

LG is a garbage company that sells rubbish products from India. I purchased a new 70" LG TV in less that six months it developed black lines in the center of the screen. The TV was wall mounted from he time of it's purchase. LG's Lying Customer supported claimed the lines were caused by an impact. BULL$8IT! There was never any impact to the screen. That is just this two bit companies excuse to not cover their crap product under warranty! DO Not Buy ANY LG Products. They are rubbish and the warranty is worthless.

Customer Service worthless. LG will squirm out any way they can to not honor their warranty. Went next step up President Division to resolve and also no answers or call backs. They will call you no ID number and leaves a text when can I call you back. They squirm and wait 2 weeks so you miss call. Called customer service to no avail 4 times. I did not damage front dealer did not. Since box not damaged happened at factory obvious. Even sent pics they asked for. Still can't believe how rude.

Purchase the LG stove you just brush against the knobs and the oven turns on even if you put the child lock horrific customer service I have it 3 weeks I used it three times and I have grandchildren come visit I'm having my kitchen redone and the contractor burnt his hands because he accidentally brushed past it I asked for a new unit and they refuse to give me one I went into the store you have to press in the knob to turn it on the unit I have you just brushed against it customer service refuses to help me they told me that's the way it is that's the design off the range horrific customer service Eileen Pender

Over 3 months to get a warranty issue clear. They have the poorest customer service all the way up to their presidential liaison. This was a joke they could not coordinate with each other twice. They tried to send me a new unit. When I was do a refund? Still haven't gotten my refund yet. Almost 3 months into this, the poor's customer service representatives on the planet Earth. I dealt with someone in the presidential liaison named alexis posey Took that representative almost a month to send me a shipping label to return a product that they sent me. When they were supposed to send me a refund They should not even be rated. If there was a writing system, it should be a 0.

DON'T BUY LG PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY REFRIGERATOR. The main problem is the refrigerator breakdown occuring too soon (1 year and 5 years after purchase) and the customer service is VERY VERY BAD. It takes me now 4 weeks and my refrigerator is still not repaired yet.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and take UNACCEPTABLE TOO LONG TO REPAIR. I have young children to feed and very difficult during this time.

DONT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE DONE THE RESEARCH. There was a class action lawsuit against LG but my refrigerator wasn't included. I lost about $800 in food spoilage and they only wanted to pay me $200.

I purchased a washer and dryer the nicest one the have they were 1300 each I got to sets one for my house and the other for my brothers house the washer door on mine does not closes right Home Depot installer came for recheck and said that door needs to be replaced lg finally sent a technician to address the issue but obviously he didn't know what he's doing he said it's normal because it's new you to apply some pressure I was like no my brothers washer it's not like that so end of story LG doesn't take care of there stuff I won't ever buy an LG again

Worst service ever had. Had 2 sets Maytag washer dryer for 45 years, never a problem with them or the service. Too bad is so difficult to get parts now. Airport Appliance recommended LG. What a big mistake i made buying them. Washer leaked all over hardwood floor even though i drained per their instructions ?? Never had to drain any other washer. Purchased in March 2023, still getting the runaround from them, that is when you can finally get them on the phone. Now my dryer is acting up, been a week now and still cannot get an appointment. We bought our LG refrigerator in September 2018. Our refrigerator stopped working in May 2023. We bought ours from Best Buy, they came out 3 times to then tell us that we needed to call LG. We have now been dealing with LG and they have been giving us the complete run around. They sent some one out here in Aug that claims he "fixed" our refrigerator and it needed 34 hours to reset. That never happened and the technician never responded back. Every time we call customer service, we were always told the same thing, "someone will call you back in 24-48 hours. They would NEVER call, we always had to call them back. Whenever we ask for a Supervisor, they never seem to have one available! We have another appointment this coming Tuesday. We have lost so much food and the fact that we have been without a refrigerator for 6 months is absolutely ridiculous! I will NEVER buy another LG product! I have never had this much trouble with any appliance. Now I want to also return their TV's we have. DO NOT BUY LG ANYTHING!!

I ourchased an LG refrigerator in December of 20222. The refrig. quit working in May of 2023. I have been talking with LG trying to get the refrig repaired or replaced for almost 5 months. LG reps. determined that it couldn't be repaired it had to be replaced. It is now approaching October and I'm still waiting for that replacement. I have called them at lease 10 times trying to resolve this problem. I still have a non working refrig. In my kitchen.

a few days ago I wrote a review complaining about a dishwasher and my complaint was that the dishes were still wet after dishwasher finished. I was angry because I couldn't refund the dishwasher nor could I return it to the manufacturing company. I was told to put a rinse aid In and the service representative helped me Change the level. As ridiculous as it sounded to put a rinse Aid In I did it and all my dishes were dry, so I am writing to apologize for the bad review. the machine works great and the dishes dry completely once again many apologies for my bad review but after I did what I was told the dishes turned out great, and the dishwasher is great.

This is the LG man I have all LG appliances TVs microwave stove refrigerator subwoofer bars numerous TVs and I'm happy with everything but the new LG refrigerator that I just bought double door French door refrigerator it is a very poor design with the stainless steel on the front of the refrigerator the stainless steel is so soft you can't even touch it because it gets either a scratch or a dent I'm very disappointed with this refrigerator and I just went out and bought a 86 inch 85 in TV and a sound bar for the TV but I'm so disappointed with this refrigerator I wouldn't even bought the TV if I would have been paying attention this I have one door panel replaced already now I have dents in the other door and there's nobody here but me my wife my dog and my cat very disappointed

Great Job for our Refigerator repair. Our LG fridge had stopped freezing and cooling. LG service tech Osama replaced the compressor and a couple of other components. He followed up at each step to make sure it was fixed to our satisfaction. Great Job thanks Osama and LG.

This is the second time we've contacted LG support and the service has been outstanding. We had a slight paint issue with a six year old refrigerator and they took care of it immediately under warrantee. The service agent was personal, professional and effective.

It has been over 1 year since LG repair Rep. Mark Barron replaced the compressor and evaporated. coil in my LG LT800P refrigerator in Melbourne, FL. Repair reference RNN21127017893 I am a retired engineer with a refrigeration repair background and wanted to praise the workmanship of this experienced technician. The refrigerator has worked perfectly since his service and better than new. I could tell immediately by his efficient workmanship that he knew his craft and the LG product. Contacted LG about my fridge issue. The set a maintenance date. Scott came well within the window.Was friendly and professional. Found the issue quickly and was fixed within 2 hrs. That's from showing up to leaving. By the way I had a repair guy before check this. Said it would take 4 hrs. Scott did a excellent job.

I john had a problem with my l g premier pro plus i call L G 9-27-22 spent about 4 hours off and on phone had to call 3 to 4 times never got the problem fix. well i call back next day 7 27 22 this time i talk to RED he fix the problem in less than 8 minutes give this guy a RAISE!

I have lg gas range with air fry capabilities. Not been successful at all. If you get their air fry rack it's $55 and shipping and you have to disconnect gas to install it. Ridiculous. Very disappointed

I just called LG & spoke with Lon. He recognized my problem right away even though my description was vague. He was extremely patient with me as I had to move the TV to find the serual & model numbers. He went above & beyond to help me, giving me the part # for the remote. I was able to fix my problem with his directions. He was very professional. Thank you!

I had a sudden problem with the LG TV. My first call was to my internet supplier, Verizon. They were unable to help. My next call was to LG. After a very brief introduction, I spoke to a technical support person whose name is Sam.

Sam is why I am connecting you. He understood and solved the problem in 5 minutes -- perhaps less. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and he explained everything very clearly.

I cannot recommend him too highly. You have a very valuable employee. Hang on to him!

I had the best of the best for LG customer service support recently, I had trouble
with TV remote and the representative was extremely patient and walked me thru no matter how long it took and the matter was resolved This is the second time while having LG TV's that I have used this service Nothing but praise from me and I hope they never discontinue their phone support system This is so important for seniors!

I purchased a premier LG product, their 65" OLED TV, and was extremely satisfied until a screen retention (burn-in)
problem occurred after some time outside of the normal one year warranty period.
LG considered my individual circumstances and authorized replacement of the screen, installed, at no cost.
This customer oriented resolution is refreshing for such a large corporation. I am extremely satisfied.
I have other LG products, and will continue to be a loyal customer.

I hv a LG k20 plus and had phone in my pocket and went swimming , after 20 mins in th pool notice phone was in my pocket. Remove battery and wrapped paper towels for 2 days. Put battery back in And turned on phone.to my surprise phone came on and is working great. Great product. Terry

I am filing a very legit and very important comoplaint over the LG Adventer and Neon Plus. They are both possibly very dangerous for young kids and older adults because the charger becomes extremely hot my adventure port literally disinigrated and exploded only had it 6 months. I just bought the LG Neon Plus had it home and plugged in brand new out of the box and within 29 minutes of starts the pinging sound saying please unplug and use originol charger that came with phone and I thought there is no way this is happening again and right now the same day I bought it brand new. And then I went to unplug the charger and it to was extremely hot. So nobody in customer service seems to have answers or want to help with warranty that I paid 20 extra for so I am seeking out any top representative from LG to talk to I really like the camera quality and durability of the phones but this is my 3rd in less then 3 years and 2 of them in a row had the same issues because they both for some reason call 911 randomly out of no where. The police have showed up thinking I called and after about the 3rd time in less then a week we were all getting to familiar and they low key wanted to throw me and my phone in the county jail. First name basis was enough I'm sure. I am very sad that I have to address this but it is dangerous for the simple fact it gets EXTREMELY hot at the port and charger as I said the LG Adventur literally disintegrated and exploded through the charger port and I truly believe this phone I. The end will as well. I do hope some one reads this and contacts me I do believe your company would want to do right by people who are honest and truthful and I most certainly am that. And I have my warranty. But I feel if it's going to catch fire it's probably good that it randomly calls 911 on a positive note. Sincerly.. Miss Jamie Johnson

I just got a LG stylo5 phone u get no instructions with it I find it stupid and one of the worst phones I ever seen there is so much bill u don't know about and the phone will be outdated before u find out all about the phone,I am so sorry I got it!

I had a problem with my LG dish washer-- contacted customer service on chat. Spoke to agent Mackey. He understood my problem immediately requested a repairman to call me. I received the call the next day and set up appointment for the repair. Received the necessary part got it installed and resolved my problem. All this took place in less than a week. I want to comment on the outstanding service I received from LG customer service.

I spoke to a customer support person, female, called Lexi. She was very helpful, understanding, respectful and solved by LG TV problem. The have had this TV for 9 years without a problem and expect another 9 years now. Thank you for training Lexi well and give her several stars.

In Cape Town, South Africa. TV six months old deteriorating at the bottom of the screen. Told LG that my wife is on Chemo and there's "no we'll take it away for evaluation or any such rubbish" Within a couple of days a very competent techy Paulo came to the house. Agreed with the defect and found one we had not noticed. Parts ordered, appointment made, kept in touch the whole time. All done within a week or so. You don't get better than that, BUT you must be firm and clear.

I worked for LG for Years I can tell you that the kitchen appliances are good 3 to four stars depending if you want to cook or just brag on your pretty appliances..the pretty ones don't cook as great as the basic ones..dishwashers and microwave 5 star refrigerators are garbage you stand a better chance of hitting the lottery than getting one that will six months without issues the compressor will die within a year guarantee or no money back your technician will be at your house more your family visit they are garbage

I worked for sears,I had my own company I am a consumer and have problems also,Im a LG technician,Ive been to so many homes,Ive been authorized to work on every manufactures products at one time or another,, LG really tries to take care of their customers,I know, They do it harder than anyother Manufactur Ive seen,,
Problem is most of you wine bags are so out of touch with todays CS business,Its not 1950 anymore you call and screem and name call and threaten to call a lawyer or tell everyone you know or ever meet not to buy their products,,You know you lying ,Blowing off steam,,
Just call be polite, Document every contact.keep in contact dont yell ,dont make threats ,If after several attemps call your consumer division of the AGs office and file a complaint this works ,you might not like it but thats what you have to do..
Believe me ,Today evry big company is the same,,The handle alot of calls and the ones that fall thru the cracks dont like it..Its not personal ,just hang in there
