ON NOVEMBER 15,2011, I PURCHASE THE LIMEWIRE SERVICE AN SUPPORT FOR 12.95. YOU ALL TOOK $55.00 FROM MY MASTERCARD AND I W0ULD LIKE TO HAVE ALL OF MY REFUND BACK,PLEASE!!!!!! MY EMAIL IS [email protected]. HOW COULD YOU BE SO COLDHEARTED?

this company is b.s. I downloaded lime Pro for 12.95 and on my debit card they charged me 48.95 and I can't get anyone on the phone. Im going to have the charge deleted thru my bank if I can

It told me it was 12.96 and took out 80 dollars off my card. I want my money back NOW!! And not only that, its telling me that its been closed and i cant download any music now. Im seriously really pissed off!!!

these people are such scammers it said it was going to cost 19.95 for two years and ended up charging my moms card 80.00$ i am so pissed and cant get a real person on the phone!! cant stand theifs

Did you all change back from Lime pro to Limewire,because if you did I paid 69.76 for something that was surpose to be 12.95.I got my other part of my refund but my icon on my computer went away and I didn;t get any service.what the hell happen.R.M

Got charged 48 bucks for somethign that was suppose to be 12.95! Tried to find numbers but they all go to voicemail. Ridiculous! I will fight til we get ALL our money back!

Bogus charge for the 3 year. It was the box that was inadvertently checked. Should have looked online about complaints first. Saw the charge and contacted my bank immediately. Also filed a complaint with the BBB. Called the 1-866-275-2481 number and said would issue a credit for the over charge and we could still use it. Went to use it and it would not let us without signing back up. Unreal. Tried calling the number back and it went to voice mail and suprisingly the press 0 option also went to voice mail. I sent them an email also. If someone were to start a class action suit against them, I would be right there.

I tried getting limewire the leagal way and was charges almost seventy dollars i have been trying to get in touch with thier billing department with no luck i will be contacting an attorney to start legal process

BE CAREFUL!!! EXTRA SNEAKY $40 CHARGE!! Luckily, for whatever reason my credit card number got declined, but I say "luckily" because When it first brings you to the 'fill in your card number, your number and billing address' form, (Step 3) look to the right, there is a small box already checked that says you will be billed for extended download protection by ssl.com Above that it says you're total order for today will be $40 some odd dollars. I have a feeling this is a complete scam!! Way to take a once trusted music download name and turn it into a SCAM! What a bunch of JERKS!

Finally reached someone for a refund after they charged me 61.93 instead of the 2.57 that is promised on the website. They said that they would issue a refund and it would take 5-10 business days. We shall see. Of coarse they only offered the refund after they offered me a 50% discount on something or other ....... really I was livid. Anyways when you check out it says not to call the number listed on your credit card account becuase they are only a 3rd party billing company. Well guess what they are the ones to call. What a rip off. The number I called was 1-866-275-2481. I hope this helps someone else get their money back.

Overcharged me, was suppose to have a charge of 2.59 and was charged 41.03. I tried to go back to the website to get a number and it was blocked. Limewire no longer exist. It's all fake. I searched for number and found this website where it has happened to other people. I filed a complaint at the BBB and also filed a dispute with my bank. This is ridiculous. They need to be stopped. Never again will I purchase any type of music website.

I just downloaded Limewire this week.
First of all, it had the price listed at $12.97. My credit card was charged $44.
Second, IT DOESN'T WORK. When I called to cancel and get a refund, both numbers I've found have bogus messages. 212-219-6050 message states that they aren't answering calls due to an office move this week. It's been saying that for 6 days. The 800-971-3909 listed on their website goes to a voicemail that claims to be full, call back later, goodbye. Other numbers I found listed on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website also say number is not in service.
I have emailed several times with no response.

I reported them to the BBB and anyone else who has been scammed by these people need to report also. If you don't report, nothing will ever get done.

Limewire was a recognized name years ago, and now they are scamming people out of money just to pay their court fines for sharing illegal music downloads.

I disputed the charge at my bank today, and will get my money back. But that doesn't make it any better.

They need to be stopped.

I am not happy at all I cancelled lime wire the min my son down loaded it lime wire said I would get my money back in 5 to 7 days and till this day almost a month later I have been fighting with them to get it refunded to me.

i bought limewire pro rite before they were takin to court. it said pay 30 some dollars for unlimited use. so i did. not even a month later i couldnt use limewire. wut a bunch of bs. I cant get ahold of customer support to get my money back. i call the number they say they are moving to a new office so you cant get ahold of them. the answering machine says to go to the about page at limewire.com to email them but when i do that the same notice about them being in a court battle pops up and you cant go anywhere on the site.

I was charged $41.85 when I was supposed to be charged $2.95. I have been trying for over a week now to get my money back. Give me my money back. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau and if I do not recieve it in the next 24 hours I will dispute the charge at the bank. This is crazy and I am sure it is illegal also. I have never used your software and I dont plan to I have never accepted any terms of service and I also dont plan to do that. All I want is my money back!! NOW!!

Here is a copy of my payment to lime wire and code never worked im really ticked off i pay for a service i expect it but if im not contacted or called at 225-588-7918.legal actions will be taken im a translater for a federal court and this is gona get ugly..... i will give them the benefit of the doubt that they messed up just correct the service or give my money back...

I wanted to buy the 1 year subscription and I was charged 63.00 and I have been trying to cancel my account and get my money back and can't seem to get ahold of anyone...ANyone have any ideas?
