I recently cancelled my membership and...

I recently cancelled my membership and removed my payment information from my account. Pogo reached back into their stored information and reactivated my membership. The bank said that it was legal because I had already given them my information. I don't like POGO. It isn't what it used to be. The games are rigged and very difficult the badges are impossible and there isn't enough time. I had to make my profile private because of all the perverted friend request that I am getting. The chat rooms are highly censored and there is no free speech. If you say anything at all to raise a single hair on anyone's head, you are reported and threatened by POGO with account termination. You have no right to defend yourself or see the evidence against you. It is a very bad platform. Stay Away

Rigged game. Take points away from you when your opponent stalls and you refuse to play them. Can't wait till my time is up I will go elsewhere

Terrible gaming experience. Players stall with no time limits only to make the other players upset. Sexual harassment against players with obvious female screen names. Forces players to file complaints to stop the harrassments, etc. And you better not berate someone who harasses you, for they will file an EA complaint and the party who is harassed gets suspended from their account.

I bought a bike and it came with a defect, in 5 days of use, I want to return it but they said that it is not possible. I'm still trying!!
Do not buy a bike from this store!!

When trying to log into canasta I get an error msg saying Authenticate Retry. I can't even find a place on here to get help. It takes me everywhere. I want a refund!

I renewed my Pogo subscription but Pogo says the payment did not go through. My PayPal account was charged and it also shows on my credit card that was used to pay PayPal. I have proof! Pogo doesn't care. They want me to renew again. No I am not paying twice. I emailed with several people from EA help and they all gave me the run around, all giving me the same "form" responses and then they close my "case". I am beyond angry. They know they took my money. I have since read through some of the Pogo forums, and there are a ton of people they did this too. Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit. Needless to say, I will never renew my subscription again.

I renewed my account with POGO in 2022. Shortly after my renewal, I could not load any of my favorite games, but could only play the ones I didn't like. Also could not play the ones that were the challenges that week. I asked to cancel and get reimbursed since my money didn't post yet. Little did I know that was a violation on my part, they said I did sign in and used the site, but they didn't take into account that I had trouble loading games and, at times, loading at all. They took my money, banned me, and now am trying to make me pay again to start up a new membership. Major ripoff artists!

Since Electronic Arts purchased Pogo it has all gone downhill. Every game is designed to get more money from you. Not worth the initial cost anymore, let alone giving them more.

I started with a free account in 2001. I played a match 3 game while I was home from work at lunch. The things that attracted me to join Club Pogo are o loger available.
They're looking for a younger audience with money to burn.
They have a reward system to keep you interested and like to pay a sum of money to get you self-satisfied achieving goals.
It's fine if you're housebound.

Not easy to report vulgar people like "nonnieconnie2." One of the most troubling and vulgar people - just filthy mouth and rude play. I understand rude, poor losers, those just not caring about common sense manners - but this woman was awful and should be stopped. We pay money and expect some mentoring - please!

I find the ads for "Can you find the difference" to be obnoxious and repulsive with cartoon figures sitting on commodes. This is a game children play?!! Of all the possibilities for scenarios, you choose something vulgar and in bad taste? Shame on you for thinking your audience is so crude.

I have tried to reach you on several occasions to let you know that I've been overcharged for the last 6 months is like I have two accounts or something I don't know I'm not sure I don't know if it went through cuz I'm computer illiterate so please look at my account I'm being charged twice to play Pogo for the last 6 months try to contact people I guess it's not going through cuz nobody's got back to me and every month is coming out of my bank card thank you

I've been a member of Pogo for many years. The new platform is annoying because I had paid for episodes of a game I liked and the new platform doesn't support it. Goodbye money!
I was still going to continue because there are other games I like. My yearly renewal was coming up and I got notification that my cc number had changed. I dutifully went to the website to update my information, but it's a two step process (one to enter the information - the other to attach that as a preferred payment method). Got the first done, but the second simply refused to load, and I tried more than one day. I went to the EA chat and was informed the wait would be 19 minutes. I waited over an hour before giving up. Tried again the next day, was informed the wait would be 21 minutes and I gave up after 46. I filled out a feedback form in which I told them to contact me but of course they didn't.
Expired now. I guess I'll find another company that wants my money!

Sadly, Pogo Game site's level of game playing capabilities has declined severely within the last 2 years. As if it couldn't get any worse, on top of a host of unloadable, playable games we can add daily challenges to the list of things Pogo no longer provides. Of course, why would it when the challenge games won't load. I have been a member for 13 years and will not be committing any more membership dues to Pogo as there is no bang for your dollar any more. No avatars, no friends even to chat with because they have already left the site. Really a shame for me as I could always count on Pogo to help while away the many sleepless nights endured as a result of "growing older". Don't waste your money or your time with Pogo... all you get is frustrated and no one to complain to because..OH Yeah...they have no phone numbers to make contact with. What does that tell you? Yeah, Overseas in Asia someplace game site which explains why no phone numbers. At any rate, Pogo Games 21 gets a big fat -0 from me. WHile rating thPogo with the questions below, the "does not apply" response is because there is no phone numbers to call to even talk to a recording. So how can you evaluate, friendliness and knowledge if there is no way to contact anybody via my belle for Pogo complaints. i have been a member of POGO since we only had Slingo, The we had Poker. Member since 2000 year. NOW I Pay and can not play. POGO Electronic Arts SUCKS. They took my favorite games AWAY. and now I can't even SIGN in To Play Any Games. EA POGO SUCKS.

I will be deleting POGO from my computer when my account expires in less than seven days due to the unfairness of so many games. POGO allows others to cheat ( which is usually very noticeable most of the time )so when my account expires on June 14th, I shall be deleting POGO from my computer and definitely will NOT be renewing it in the future! I would NOT recommend POGO to others at this time.

Each time I attempt to play Spades... It goes through the process until is askes me how I would like to play... I request Robot game... it the cycles and doesn't do anything except say wait while the game is loading... I had though about joining POGO without ads but with what has occurred it isn't a factor now... Unless I see a big improvement I will not consider joining again.

Pogo sucks!!! I can't believe I can't get on Pogo. It has been over a week. EA sends you to a place where you have to PAY!!! In order to get help. And even then I couldn't get back on Pogo. I guess I will just forget about Pogo, even though it is the ONLY game I pay yearly. I am a senior and enjoy the games and it is hard for to save the money. So cancel my membership unless you can get me back on Pogo.

Not a major complaint but one of logic. I was told by a drop down message that I was over my limit of requested badges for the week. Now, let me get this right. I was told that I could not request anymore badges (all previous completed) because it was over my limit. Who said so. Since I pay for this service If I can complete a gazillion badges in one week then I should not be bothered by stupid messages saying that I have exceeded my limit.
Please correct this and take the limit thing off.

Pogo has great support if you know how to go about getting there.
Press help at the top of your signed in page. On the next page at the right click EA help. On the next page bottom right click Contact us. On the next page type in the game name you are having a problem you and in the next box click technical support, billing, customer support or whatever you need. Click email me and within 24 hours someone will mail you back and ask what problems you have and what you need done. I know their support is hard to find but after 1st contact, you can expect results.
As for you people with Java issues, you need to learn how to use a computer and how to download files, uninstall files and reinstall files.

I played pogo for several years. I has a java issue once which was resolved after several emails back and forth. More recently I cancelled my subscription, but my credit card was charged by EA two days later. I found an EA customer service number to call. Went through automated system as if I had a game problem in order to get to a live person. Was on hold for about 30 to 45 min. I did speak to a live person and was told that they cannot provide pogo support over the phone. THERE is NO pogo phone support! I was upset at this point because it is a rather simple solution of providing a reimbursment. I was told I must email customer service from the pogo site. (click on ea service chat button and will direct you to email). So I did email them and TO MY GREAT SUSPRISE I got a real response back (after initial response just stating they received email) that same day saying they will reimburse my credit card! I was expecting an initial canned response and several more emails to get any result.
They should have phone service as well - but skip that fustration and go straight to email. Again, I was very susprised by the quick and desired result, especially after reading the negative comments online. I felt this needed to be put out there.
