Having a problem with the player tried several trouble shooting methods and called customer support. They had me do everything I already did and told me it was fixed I asked what if I have the same problem after this they said call back they refused to tell me any other possible steps to take plus they have customer support over seas I had to have the guy repeat himself like 5 times anytime he said anything because I just couldn't understand him worst customer support ever
Absolutely the worst version of Rhapsody to date, and the worst customer service. I have been with Rhapsody for about 9 years and cringe when anything goes wrong and I might have to get help. I have never, ever had a phone call, email, or live chat fix anything that was going on. All of the fixes I have found have been through internet searches. Lastly, Rhapsody 6 help pages are horrendous.

Just awful service from Rhapsody. They put out new software which crashes. Their phone support is daytime office hours only. Their support chat link is listed by Threat Track Security and trapped by Vipre Internet Security and other anti-malware programs as a dangerous link. Therefore no 24 hr chat support.
Then, to make matters worse, with no trouble at all, I was able to get right into their backoffice third party chat room controls.
Rhapsody also lowered its premier subscription from $14.95 per month to $10.00 per month but didn't bother to notify me or other current subscribers, nor did they automatically reduce the charge.
Do I REALLY wnat to continue doing business with them?
New software for Windows will not access download folder then software crashes. Your chat link is blocked by Threat Track Security's Vipre Internet Security as a harmful website. I have been a customer for 4 or 5 years and have been paying you $14.95 per month. I am busy during the day and this lack of support is totally and completely unacceptable. Today I discovered you lowered the price for premium access to $10.00 but never adjusted my billing--serious ethics breach and deceptive trade practice.
Were it not for the time I've invested in building the Rhapsody library I'd be long gone. The customer services is essentially non-existent. Phone jail first, then an endless progression of third world support staff reading from scripts who do not listen in the first place; and then refuse to understand specific issues when explained. If Rhapsody is ever going to achieve satisfactory ratings for their support they will have to quit outsourcing to third world countries.
Current software is being phased out, with instructions to download and install new version. The new version will not authorize my computer so that I can download, and I can only stream in the lowest quality bitrate. Tech support is located in India and totally worthless. Their answer for all problems is to reinstall software. If you need any support from this outfit, you're out of luck. It SUCKS!!!!
The website states that there are Saturday and Sunday hours of operation however when you call, it is closed both Saturday and Sunday and only open 9-5 Monday through Friday. I am having a party tonight and my system is not working!!!! I need help!!!
I have previously canceled this service because this company was double billing me for years until I caught it. Now this!!!
I have been with this company since 2006. If I knew of another that provided the same (music subscription), I'd have left a long time ago. Poor customer service, slow servers, messed up DRM and half-baked troubleshooting (ineffective- it's like the tech person is guessing). STAY AWAY from this service because it's more trouble than it's worth. By the way, if anybody knows of an alternative service, I would love to know who else is willing to take my money.
I was involved in what they called a 'migration' from Napstr to Rhapsody. I was told by one person that I had to cancel Napster and Sign up with Rhapsody. Another said that the accounts simply migrated over. A year later and I've been being billed twice a month, but I can only see one account on Rhapsody and Napster just reroutes you. So, even if I had noticed the bank charges sooner, I would have had no way of finding and cancelling the subscription. You have to Google for a phone number, it's almost impossible to find on their site, if it is even there. Now, they are denying a refund! This company is awful!!! Customer service fail!
