We have a Sharp fridge. It stopped being cold. Called our normal electrician that same night and was told now the repair must go through Sharp Malaysia. Immediately called hotline, no answer. And this Sharp hotline is following office hours and work week. So our fridge is not working over the weekend and upon calling on Mon, we are told that a technician will call within 2 days. The irony is, an independent electrician answers our call even at night and could have repaired the fridge. But with Sharp's control over technical repairs, we have to wait days to report the problem and days to get setvice.
SO WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH ALL THE FOODSTUFF IN THE FRIDGE THAT REQUIRES REFRIGERATION UNTIL SHARP PERSONNEL DEIGNS IT WITHIN THEIR SCHEDULE TO ARRANGE AN APPOINTMENT (this means it may be several days later if we can't get an immediate appointment)
I dont consider this good customer support.
